batman guy for the Christmas tree. It's very little. That's
a Christmas that's a really tiny, really tiny thing.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
But we're only in December of the third, right, so
you got time. Christmas spirit starts for a lot of people,
like in the next maybe next week, no soon December first,
people in the Christmas we should you should be well
like I am.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
I just, I just I think it's okay.

gets a little bit closer. Uh amber Nova herein is no.
But you're you look like you're in Christmas spirit.

red velvet top, I got red jewelry. I am all

the bright red colors, bright green, bright gold, festive.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
So are you ready to your Are you feeling ready
for Friday nights?

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I'm feeling good.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
I'm feeling good.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Guys, bring your bring your ones, because that's how that's.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Oh no, no, bring your twenties.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Oh Jesus, okay, excuse me, okay, all.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Right, bring your twenty.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, you don't know how this works. We want we
want them to bring their ones.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Ones are better, right, because that way it looks like
you got more. It's like, you know, fun. But if
they want to bring twenty shore, that's fine. Uh but
you know that's how we'll be judging how well you did,
if you know how much money you make, so.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
That should be know.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I was getting judged. I thought we're just participating for fun,
you know you are.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I mean, I'm just saying we're gonna look like if
you make six dollars, we're gonna go, oh, you didn't
do that.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Well.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
If you know you get a hundred bucks, you know
we'll gonna look at her. She's on fire.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
And there's also a way to digitally send money you
and have our QR codes up on the screen.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
So that's correct. Yeah, but angel killed it last year.
I mean when I mean he had cash coming out
you know, every uh, every pocket.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, man, it was a good day. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, you ought to probably give her some advice on
what she should do to get as much cash as possible.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I think she's well on her way, she's crushing it.
But you want to encourage them to bring ones, five
tens of twenties, not just twenties, yeah, just twenty. Yeah,
you're gonna leave a whole segment of the audience out.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
And you know what I did is I'm leaving you
towards towards the end. Right whenever when everybody's fired up,
it has some drinks fever, right.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
You know.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Oh so I don't know how bad I am if they're.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
All stuff exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
That is not what I was thinking. What I was thinking,
they have some drinks. Now that they understand what we're doing,
they get it. And then and then you do your thing, okay,
And then I'm putting Angelique after you because she you know,
she's oh.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Good, because I was already worried about having to follow up,
you know, if I had to go after her, Like,
come on, she's the professional. So I'm like, I don't
want to follow her dance?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah I want, I want. You know, she's teaching you,
so I put the teacher on. You know.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
She she's like your she's like your main event, you know,
and that's her deal. She's the dancing queen. You're gonna
go before her? Uh so you can, you know? Uh
but right, and when everybody's been drinking and stuff, so
you should have a good spot.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Thanks for thinking about that.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Why the competitors are.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
They going to go before us?

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Or?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
In the tweet, there's gonna be some before, some after.
We're kind of mixing it, breaking it up a little bit. Yeah,
So Friday night's gonna be a lot of fun. Angel's
gonna be You gotta get Angel your song so he
knows what you're dancing to.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Got it.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
I'll do that today.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Okay, All right, there you go?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Is that on me? I thought that was house?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Uh oh, I thought you were doing I thought you
were DJing it.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I'm DJing like the pre party. But okay, I didn't
dj last year's okay, that's right.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Then you gotta get it to Lady James.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
She's she asked me for it yesterday and I thought
Angel was doing it my mad but uh, anyway, just
get me the song so I can get it Lady
James and they'll do.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
The Uh, I mean I'll do it. I just that
you saying it was the first time I heard that. Oh,
I just assumed you were doing it all I didn't know.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I didn't know that they. I didn't thought you did.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
It last year. No, I did. I want to dance
the last year. That's right.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
We have the house seven pm, but pre party is
is pre party seven pm?

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Or before seven pm?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Doors open at seven? Right Angel? Yeah? Yeah, doors open
at seven. We'll be there early.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah. Show starts at eight okay yeah, and you want
to be there before seven.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, you want to be there early. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
So anyways, that's uh, that's this Friday night at the Abbey.
Get your tickets by going to Real Radio Monster Day
so you don't see. I gotta tell you what, I'm
very pretty happy because you don't seem nervous like two
weeks ago you seem nervous. Now you seem like you're
ready to go.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
You fired up.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
I've I've been piecing it together little by little, just
like you know, you get. I mean, I'm still nervous,
just like if I wrestle. I'm still a little nervous,
but it's more like I guess exciting. It's challenge.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Good good, good. Hey, So how was your Thanksgiving? We
haven't seen you since?

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Things great? And I went to Daytona's Turkey Rod Run
and got me some car parts this weekend out in
Daytona's Speedway. And then it was my dad's sixtieth birthday
this weekend.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
So that thing is a big deal.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I used to go to that every single year because
he had old cars. He had he had classic cars,
and he would go to that and those guys go
out there and there's.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Hundreds of people that sell like old thousands, six thousands,
O WoT me.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
You could find just the most craziest things there. People
sell all kinds of stuff, not just car parts, just
anything car related. And the amount of cars that go
out there there, it's insane.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
These bills.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yeah, a cool one.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
So what were you out there for?

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Just to go get car parts for myself? I needed
a new carbureator. I needed some new gauges on my car,
so you know, dropped a little cash for the Nova.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
I had some fun.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Did you take the Nova out there?

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Yep, drove it to Daytona, Yeah, yeah, I had some
good good ton of Saturday and then Dad's sixtieth birthday
was Sunday, so we did a little get together and
Thanksgiving was chill and.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Did you cook anything? Yes, you did.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
Would you cook a small ten pound turkey? We did
homemade mashed potatoes.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Did you cook it or does somebody do it for you? No?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
It was literally just me and my mom and my dad.
My mom chilled most of the time. We gave her
time to relax, right, but mainly I did everything. Made
homemade bread, specifically hollow bread. Hollow bread.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Holla, what's holla?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Hola? It's the traditional Jewish bread that Jesus had and
it's braided like you know how you see a braid
on a woman's hair, but it's braided.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
You made Jesus bread?

Speaker 5 (06:37):
Yeah, my mom in like high school.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
But isn't there something in the ingredients that makes it different.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
It's it's yeast, flour, salt, sugar, and egg. So they'll
sometimes they'll boil eggs and you'll put like hard boiled
eggs on top of the braid if you want, there
you go. Ryan pulled up a photo. It's pretty and
you braid it like you would a woman.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Delicious.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
So that's Jesus bread.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Mm hm, Jesus bread. Made some mashed potatos. Yeah, did
everything little homemade fun together. Good mom made homemade cranberry.
I didn't do the homemade cranberry.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah, we didn't do that this year. We just stuck
with just the the can.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Well. Mary Ellen likes to make the homemade stuff. But
my whole family they're all West Virginia, right, so they
like it from the can. So you said the can
stuff anyway. Yeah, but are you uh so you are
ready for this Friday night? Have you have you rehearsed
with Angelique?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Yeah, we're getting into the studio a couple of times
this this week. We already have a studio booked and
like a time slot for each other. And yeah, I'm excited.
She's been extremely helpful and just a few tips when
we were just in the station, she was just helping
me out, Like just the fewest little small details made
a huge difference. So definitely still nervous. Yeah, but who knows,

(07:51):
you know, maybe I won't just do some crazy wrestling roles.
I might just come out and do some like giant
like you know, super kicks in the air and be
like booms.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Actually super kick the super kick, bloom tip me bam.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I like the way you're thinking. That's good. I think
about the money. That's what the girls do. They think
about the money. Yes, the money is important.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Money is very important.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
So I'm allowed to have like a little couple of
autographs at the real radio tent of course.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Ye stuff.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah you should be uh yeah, yeah you
can do that for sure.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Are you even going?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, he's going. He and I are hosting it.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Oh you are hosting it.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, we're hosting it and Angel is DJing.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
What did you think we were doing, having a good time,
just hanging out And I thought Lady.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
James was taking like the reins of everything.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
No no, no, no, no, no no no no.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
You didn't go to the one last year.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
I was in Canada wrestling.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Oh yeah, no, so you have no idea what it was. Yeah,
so no, we're all involved, we're all there.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah, Okay, Ryan and I are hosting the Angels DJing
and and you are featured performer.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
You should be uh, you should be thrilled.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
I am. I'm excited.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
And I have like full creative control. So I was like,
what can I do all the possibilities?

Speaker 1 (09:09):
You have full creative control? So Angelia's guiding you at all?

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Oh? No, I got to pick my own song, my
own outfit. Really some of like most of my like
kind of moves that I figured out.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
But no, she's definitely helping me a lot.

Speaker 7 (09:21):
How are you figuring out moods? Are you like YouTube
and this? What are you doing?

Speaker 5 (09:25):
I did study, did a little.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
I did a little. Uh, I watched a little tape
back if.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
You would say you did bur less study.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
Yeah, I watched a couple of tapes back and studied
some research.

Speaker 7 (09:37):
What do your parents think about this?

Speaker 5 (09:40):
I don't think we really talked much on it.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
The show, right, they do, and well.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
They know briefly about it, but they they know me,
and they know my they know me and my morals
and what I do.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
And yeah, they trust me.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
You'll you'll do what you feel comfortable with exactly, and
but you know, you get all you get off all
into it. You get there. Basically it's screaming. Who knows
what you could do.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
I'm just gonna my top.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You might happen.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
It's happening for Look how much money I'm making.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Forget it.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Yeah, I don't think this is nineties radio.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
You never know. You get you have a couple of
drinks before you go out there.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
No, I'm a professional wrestling.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
It's a bur less show.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
No, this is still action. And you could slip on stage.
You know, you could go throw that superkick in.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
You could fall.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Less superkick sober he rush.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
We're doing We're doing. I mean we're on stage. We
got to do business. Are you drinking?

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Shots?

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I am done performing like a professional and the job
is done, then I will have a drink.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Our job hoping be on suitor.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Our job is to get up there and have everybody,
make sure everybody's having fun and do shots with us.

Speaker 7 (11:01):
And my job's great. Wardrobe malfunctions.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Well I like that idea. You know, the drunker they are,
the better they're going to think.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
I look, that's right. And if you have a couple
of drinks, you'll be a little loosened up. You'll be
able to dance a little better.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
No, what if I fall?

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Nah, you won't fall, and you'll be able to cover.
You recover.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
That's the other part of it though. If you fall,
no one knows that. That's not part of your routine.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
It's different like wrestling. It's a little easier to cover up.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
No, but you just do a little roll and I'm like, oh,
she meant to do that?

Speaker 3 (11:31):
You roll out of What if you fall?

Speaker 7 (11:32):
What if you fly?

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Dide?

Speaker 5 (11:34):
You see that's a great example.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Okay, did you see brock Lesner last week come out
and make his entrance with w and he does the
giant stump and he's got the cowboy hat. He slips.
Brock Lesner slips backwards, he does a back roll and
just gets up like you exactly would tell.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
But you could still tell he was not supposed to
fall on his entrance.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, you could tell he wasn't supposed to fall, but
he recovered. Well, he flipped backward and jump back. That's
all you gotta do.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Man, I'm going to hit the broac list.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
We're gonna call it start all over again.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
I'll do the brock Lessner.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
But you're supposed to be doing like sexy burlesque.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
You remember that.

Speaker 6 (12:06):
No, she's gonna end up looking like that clown from
Circus lay clown.

Speaker 7 (12:11):
There's a very famous like a French clown.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Actually that Well, I can't wait to see what you do,
and I'm proud of you for doing it.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
I didn't think we'd actually talk you into this.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
And not only are you into it, you're into it,
like I can see, you're smiling, you're happy, you can't
wait to dance.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
You knew I did not want to do this. I
was really not on board for it. I was happy
I was wrestling in Canada last year, and but now
that I was like, wait a minute, I have full
creative freedom and control over what I choose to do, right,
I got it.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
That's what I was trying to tell you. Yeah, how
many things have I talked you into? And you're glad
I talked you into them? Hm, okay, let's take a break.
Don't go anywhere. You're listening with them match in the morning. Yeah,
I took you to Universal today when we do trivia
coming up in a.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Little bit, So listen for trivia and.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
You could win tickets to Universal Studios.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Welcome back.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
So the mantras in the Morning on ro Radio one
of four Play one. I am Russ Rollins along with
Angel and Ryan and am Bernova all here today morning.
And I so, Angel, you were talking about so yesterday
you watched that documentary on Diddy on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Got that it dropped, and then I was trying to
go to bed, and then I would say, oh, that's
out there now, you know.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
I'll watch a little bit of it. It's it's a
four parter. You can knock it out. Oh, it's it's
on that mat. Okay, you know what I did on
Netflix yesterday, Well, I played a little the game.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
I did play a little bit.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
I don't know if you saw the talk messages and
maybe and I don't know if it's different tiers or whatever.
Earlier this morning we had in that six o'clock hour,
we had a handful of people that tried to do
that and they couldn't find it.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
They couldn't find the games.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Yeah. So like so when you when you go.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
On Netflix to the top, it says TV shows, it
says movies, and then we'll say games.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
So that all the way at the time, hyper leak
like the Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, yeah, I'll say I did that for a little
bit yesterday. But one of the topics I had yesterday
that I didn't get to, but uh it was the
Rolling Stone magazine gave what they thought were the twenty
best movies of the year, and I think in third
place was a movie I'd never heard of before called
Train Dreams, and it is on Netflix, and I'm like,

(14:23):
you give a shot, you know, I'll watch a Train
Dreams am Renova's latest Only Things with the.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
No, that's not it.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
But uh, it was like it was okay, you know
when you're watching something and you know that it's good
because it is you know, it's filmed, well, it's got
you know, the story is kind of okay and everything, uh,
but it's not a lot.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Of excitement in it.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
And basically it's about this dude that back in the
like in nineteen seventeen. It's helping to put the you know,
put the rails up for the train, and he's like
a longer kind of a dude and it's sort of
I don't know, man, it's sort of slow. But it's
one of those movies that you can tell is gonna
be an Academy you know, it'll be nominated for something,
it'll be one of those like I've never heard of

(15:11):
this before.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
I'm gonna tell you right now in the movie that's
gonna win everything. And we have not talked about it.
I've seen the trailers for it. It's been on my
radar to go see it again. And we didn't even
come up yesterday when we're talking about but it's Leo's movie,
Leo's number one, Yeah, Leo's movie, one battle after another.
That is for people that know movies, and even the

(15:33):
people that you're a fan of that have gone and
seen this movie, they're like, this is this is the
cinema experience. This is the best movie. This is absolutely
incredible piece of work. And that's probably gonna be the
runaway that ends up winning everything because just by I
agree by other directors and by other people that I
look up to, and they're like they were completely blown

(15:55):
away by its funny.

Speaker 6 (15:56):
I like, I totally discounted that movie, dismissed it because
of the level of advertising that came with it, and
generally when a movie has that much advertising, I mean
it was every other year.

Speaker 7 (16:06):
What harshal.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
It was like there was billboards for it, and I
was like and I was like, damn, this movie must suck, the.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Paul Thomas Anderson movie. And it's the first time that
Paul Thomas Anderson has gotten this kind of budget, and
so I think Ryan there might be a lot of
his fans who thought who might have thought that way
because typically his movies don't get promoted in that fashion.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Did you watch it?

Speaker 3 (16:28):
I know, I'm just saying it like it's all my Listen.
We were talking to movies heavy yesterday and it didn't
even come up. But then I was like, what am
I talking about? That's that's gonna be the movie that
wins everything.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Jennifer Lawrence is in it, right, I believe. I know that.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
She just recently said she thought was the best movie
she's ever seen. It's okay, so she just liked it
a lot.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
Okay, Leo, I didn't realize that's Paul Thomas Anderson. They
should have thrown that on the f and trailer.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Well what happened again, because he doesn't typically do that.
He was kind of like, I don't I don't promote
movies this kind of way. I don't have this kind
of budget. I don't have this kind of money for promotion.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
Paul Thomas Anderson for those who don't know, did my
favorite movie?

Speaker 7 (17:03):
There will be blood?

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Yeah, oh right, there.

Speaker 7 (17:06):
Will be blood Boogie Nights. Like he's so good.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yeah, he's an incredible, incredible director. So he's got Sean Penn,
he's got Leo, Tiana Taylor, Benicio del Toro's in it,
Regina Hall's in it. Those are just to name some
of the some of the bigger names that are in
that movie.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Right well, I like, like I said, this Train Dream
there is probably one that will be nominated. I I'm
not saying it's gonna win, uh, but it does make
you whenever I watch these And I guess it's kind
of based on a true story.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Could you have made it?

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Do you think do you think you could have made
it if you were, you know, back in nineteen seventeen
and you had to build your own cabin and and
and you know, would be a logger and and help
lay the rails for the train. Like, like, man, that's
that was a tough ass life. Like the fact that
those guys were able to do all that. And I
guess if you were a logger. One of the things

(17:58):
that a lot of these guys happened to them is
they would break their fingers, like breaking their fingers with
something that happened all the time. So like the younger
guys would have to like, you know, tie the shoelaces
of the older guys because the older guys fingers were
all like all mangled, and man, that that would be
a tough ass life to live as a logger back

(18:18):
in nineteen seventeen.

Speaker 7 (18:19):
Could I make it?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Bro?

Speaker 6 (18:20):
No, I should on my butt all day and Tibby's
is coming in a little bit and I'm gonna eat Tibby.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
I know, that's what. That's all. I'm like, I think.

Speaker 7 (18:27):
You logger man for making this possible.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Like I complain about waking up at three o'clock in
the morning, and these dudes had to in order to live,
had to.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
It was an interesting movie, but I can't really say
I recommend it.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Man, you guys are gonna love it.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
But is that okay? I and I get the idea
of what you're saying. I understand the thought process, right,
but if it's what what years?

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Was this movie set in in nineteen seventeen? All right?

Speaker 3 (18:52):
So nineteen seventeen, So if you're if you're raised in
nineteen seventeen and that's all you.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Know, then you're gonna be a logger. I guess yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Like but if you go but if you are asking me, angel,
we have we invented this machine and you're going to
nineteen seventeen and you're gonna get to be a logger
for a day. No, how are you gonna do? No,
I'm gonna fail.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Yeah, it failed miserably.

Speaker 6 (19:13):
This historically, as as a brown person, you don't want
to go back in time.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
To ye.

Speaker 7 (19:20):
If I'm getting Thomas, I'm always going to the future.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
That seems better they had they had a brown person
in man, if they had some American Native Americans in
it and they did not vilify them, I thought that was.

Speaker 7 (19:31):
Why would we vilify them?

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Well, because most movies did, right from nineteen sixty You
know what I'm saying, Most most movies I've seen in
my life, they always make you know, the American Indians
are the bad guys.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Right. They didn't do that in this one.

Speaker 7 (19:43):
Not doing that for a very long time.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Okay, Well, I'm just telling you that they didn't do
it in this one either.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
Like that would be so shocking to watch a movie
now and then they're like well, they're like making the
Indians the mad guys.

Speaker 7 (19:53):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
The Indian was a good guy that came to help him,
and I thought that was kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
And then they did have a black uh you know.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Like like a black guy was in it and his
role was actually pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
And it wasn't stereotypical, right, they didn't they didn't use
they didn't put stereotypical stuff in. And it makes you
wonder if if that's more the way it was, you know,
you don't know, you.

Speaker 7 (20:15):
Know, no, still a movie.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
People were treated horribly back then.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Yeah, would you uh, in that mindset or in that
thought process, right, would you dig like let's say one
of these kind of excursions or these opportunities. Hey, you
get to go rough it for like two weeks, but
you're gonna chop your own wood. You're gonna, you know,
you gotta. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna make you
a hunt for your food, but you know you're gonna
have to cook for yourself.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
I'm not doing this all the time, but I know
that i'd be very better. But I want to do it,
but I think I would do pretty good.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
And here's the other part.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Or too right in this movie, like he it's him
and his he marries a woman. It's him and it's
a man and a woman and they and.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
He has no money storry, Right, you wanted a man
and a man.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Well, if I'm building a cabin, I think I want
a man with you, but he's got a.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Woman with him.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
It's like if they already made that movie a man
and a woman building the cabin, a man in my
cabin in the eighteen hundred.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
They already did that. It's broke back back.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
No, this was, you know, a man and a woman
in his log cabin and they had to build the
cabin together and uh uh and then so.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
All right, so then go going along that thought process.
What the woman in this movie that she was casting
it and you're so you're surprised by all the things
being authentic and everything. Was she built sturdy?

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Not really, she wouldn't Yeah she was j Yeah, she
was a thick girl.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
So she was a wait for a woman because yeah,
she would have she wouldn't have lasted.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Seeing back in the day.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
And that's a very good question, right, you wanted you
want to hit her with the I want a big girl.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Yeah, give me a thing you want, you want to
broad you know, ripped.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Somebody that can help me carry this.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
You got to bring these logs, Bill.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
You're looking for like a lady from you know, your
day's end of the night club and right one can
be strong.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
And you gotta build a cabin with Ambernova or you
gotta build a cab no building, or.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
With Teal Piper who's you know?

Speaker 4 (22:05):
You know you just had to bring her up, didn't you.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
I don't pick it, but.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
Build a cabin with a woman, yes, I mean you know.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
No, you guys made fun of me because like muscle mommies,
but now you know why.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
We love you.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
No, that's fine.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
You know what I'll be.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
I'll be near the ocean, fishing, having a little bonfire.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
You don't even know what the creature seventeen are like.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Yeah, definitely be by the ocean.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
You can't even use maps because you think the world's flat.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
Actually, back then they used flat Earth maps. The UN
still uses them to.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
This day day the UN does.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
And this was set in Washington, right, uh, you know
you know Washington.

Speaker 6 (22:54):
Estate, Okay, should have a bunch of libtards.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Well, they are out in the middle of the Woods, right,
and what happens in Washington State that we you know,
we still hear about today.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
No, that is the thing.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I didn't know that man could be a wildfires.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Oh I thought we're talking about the weed would I
got to wildfires. I was going weed, let's see.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
I mean, it's like what Okay, people said, what's the
name of the movie again, It's called Train Dreams. It's
considered one of the best movies of the year according
to Train Dreams is on Netflix, So on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
And then the other movie that we were talking about
that I mentioned was Leonardo's new movie, which is One
Battle after another that's still in movie theaters.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
I want to see that. It's probably gonna win the
Oscar and all that kind.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Of people are saying that this is one of those movies. Gentleman.
Text means like age, are you gotta go see this
because the musicality of this of the movie goes with it.
You want to see in a big room like that.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
So you know, when you're watching a movie and you're like, Okay,
this is an Academy word type of movie this is and.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
That's what that's what Trained Dreams is.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
And I'm like, well, let me now since I got time, now,
let me switch to something else.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
So I switched to was your Transition.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Guns up with?

Speaker 2 (24:02):
With Kevin James and Christina Ricci And it's new, It's
a brand new one. And but I thought, when I
see Kevin James, I'm thinking, this is gonna be a comedy, right,
It's gonna be funny.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
This is Kevin James trying to be John Wick.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
It's like, it's like thick guy, but I'm a bad
ass's he's just.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Fun thinking this.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
And Christina Ricci ends up being the real bad ass
in it.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
But she's a little thing. I mean she's she was smaller.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Than am be badass.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Okay, but if I had not building a log cabin,
if I had to build a log.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Cabin with Ambernova or Christina Ricci, I'm picking Ambernova.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Christina Riccie is a small girl.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
Are you trying to compare me to like an Ariana
Grande small?

Speaker 1 (24:47):
I'm just saying that Christina Ricci is a very small girl.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
And it actually was a pretty good movie though, I mean, like, uh,
I probably enjoyed it more than the one that's probably
gonna be nominated for an Academy Awar.

Speaker 7 (25:00):
Remember how tall are you?

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Five five?

Speaker 7 (25:01):
Oh she's about one's much smaller.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Yeah, oh she's a small thing. Okay, yeah, but they
make her a little badass and guns up.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Kevin, Like Ryan said, Kevin James is for a second
and trying to be a break into the action movie genre.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Like he's he's that thing where he was like a
bald villain and he like he was kind of believable
as like a bad guy in that one movie I can't.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Think and this one and guns up. He's the ultimate
fighting you know.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Oh my gosh, I just love him. You can't take
him serious.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
So he's so funny.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Well that's what I thought.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
I thought I was watching a funny movie and ends
up like the only thing funny was Christina Ricci. Like
he plays like he's a badass the whole time, and
the kids are kind of funny, you know, and it's
like a it's like a you know, like a mob thing.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
I don't know. It was fun to watch, though, I
mean I probably enjoyed that more than was it.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Supposed to be a comedy or was it supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
They're calling it an action comedy, but he's not. But
he's the heavy Yeah, he's not the funny one. And
I always yeah, there you go, Christina Ricci ends up
being the funny one.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Uh, And he's like the badass. And they got the
kids and you know the you know sometimes we say, like.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
The dudes going bald helps them, like he's got the
right size shaped head, But it doesn't help.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
Him, you know, think so No, I think you've just
seen him in so many comedies and the King of Queens, Yes,
like you just it's hard to look at him and
take him like as a serious, like badass. Yeah, like
a Jason Statham type of guy.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
I like when they changed the name of the movies
to another language, Angel, What does this mean?

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Arma?

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Armados, armados armados armed.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Arm that's called armed in the Spanish knights.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
And guns up, its guns up. It's on paramount if
you want to. You know, it's a fun watch, you know,
it really is.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
But that's cooler. Actually, they should have just called it that.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
The white people would have gone in and was like, well,
why do you call it ar marlos? What's the Spanish
to it? Where's the cartel?

Speaker 7 (27:02):
Are a cartel rush?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
No, they're not, it's it's it's the mob though, And
it's like, I think an Italian mob situation.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
That wouldn't make even less sense. It would make more
sense at.

Speaker 6 (27:14):
All in Portuguese. In Portuguese it is called uh, I
don't know, so.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
Our bilassos is as basically a gun gunfire.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
Guns up sounds like a fun.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Party, sounds like the in Portuguese is almost like freetos
and and and bullets is what it is.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Bullets.

Speaker 7 (27:41):
That's favorite shooting range.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
I like that. Bullets all right, Well, yeah, for those
who are asking, So the Diddy, The Diddy documentary is
on Netflix that Angel talked about.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Train Dreams is on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
That's that's if you're like, if you like film, you know,
and it's not particularly exciting, but I found it interesting.
It's gonna be nominated more than likely. And then Guns
Up is just silly, you know, Kevin James trying to
be a badass in Christina Ricci being funny, and that's
on Paramount.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
You're listening to the MAXs morning. Hey, you're listening to

(28:31):
the Maxters in the morning.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
We're Radio one oh four point one broadcasting live and
I heart Radio. I am Russ Rowlands along with Angel
and Ryan and Ambernova all here today. It is It's
home day man, middle of the week. Ready for Friday.
Friday is gonna be a big show downtown Orlanto. We
have not been to downtown Orlando to do a show
in a while.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
This is at the Abbey. It's a great place and
looking forward to it.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
You can join us by getting your tickets by going
to real radiomasters dot com. That's real Radiomonsters dot com. Hey, Ryan,
I know you've got a new puppy. Uh, and you
mentioned this yesterday, So I saw this story and I
thought I'd pull it and see, Uh, how many of
these things you can identify with. Uh, you don't have
any dogs or anything. You've got cats, right, you're a
cat lady.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
I don't have cats, and I actually don't have anything.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Oh, you don't have anything. I have my car, okay,
all right, you don't have anything. Okay.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
And then the angel is a dog person for sure.
They they did, they do this yearly roundup of like
what what your pets are? They talked to a bunch
of different debts and what your dogs are swallowing and eating?
They've got of like listen and Ryan, you said you
were having a problem with that recently. Right, like your
dog is you were afraid to put up a Christmas

(29:42):
tree because you're afraid your dog would eat it? Right?

Speaker 7 (29:45):
Yeah, I can't. I can't. This is it'll be.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
I have to keep surveillance on it at all times.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
I don't want to do that.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yeah, you don't have a Christmas tree up?

Speaker 6 (29:53):
Are you not doing a full size one? I got
a little tiny countertop one.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
That's yeah, that's easy, convenient, that's but you could put
like a little you could put like a little dog
fence around it if you were that concerned.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
I'm not jailing my Christmas tree. The Christmas tree did
nothing wrong. Okay, So I don't want to like look
at like a border fence around my indoor forest.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
What if you did a test, right, put a tree
up just to see if the dog would because our dogs, I.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
Don't want to give theim a hand grenade too, just
for FUNI our.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Dog ignores the tree, like doesn't even doesn't even you know,
but will chew other things. What do you think the
number one thing they have to if you go to
the vet, has to treat dogs for because they swallow it.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Til Well, this is not all Christmas related.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
This is just in general top five things dogs swallow
that vets have to attend to Christmas ornaments. Shoes and
clothing is number three.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
I was gonna say socks.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Yeah, well just shoes and clothing altogether is in third place,
twelve percent of the things they have to deal with
our shoes and clothing and wonder well, I guess because
it smells like the own right, so uh and then
you've got to like your dog is big, big, big.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Yeah, but he seems older now well and he doesn't
seem to chew on stuff like that. Right.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
You know what our dog and it's not on this
list of the top five for whatever reason, our dog
it's it's jewelry. Like if if Mary Owen leaves jewelry,
or if I leave jewelry laying around, the dog of
grab jewelry and go run.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
Around with it.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Taste it doesn't eat it or anything, but just we'll
grab it and take it off and then put it
in other places. Uh.

Speaker 6 (31:30):
I always see that like online of people like talking
about like hey, my dog ate like a wedding ring,
or like it ate some jewelry and we got to
wait a mountain fall him around with his poop right,
and I'm like, how does that happen? Who keeps jewelry
low enough for a dog gets so?

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Well?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
We you know what a lot of times like she'll
put her wedding rings by her you know, the bedstand,
you know, when she sleeps and the.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
Dog get there in TAKEO, she doesn't love you while
she's asleeping. That's defensive, not at all, she does not yet,
that's defensive. Well, I've never takes sirs off.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
So clothes and shoes and stuff is in third? We
think is the number one thing they have to treat
dogs for the vet this year?

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Ambernova this year.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Yeah, I actually think it's something new.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
I was just gonna go for little plastic parts, little
plastic parts, random plastic plastic parts.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
Russ, that's not specific enough.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
What do you think Ryan Angel got clothing and shoes
cutting shoes?

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Well, I mean one of these things you had you
had to take your dog to the vet for it.

Speaker 7 (32:28):
Oh, there's so many things though.

Speaker 6 (32:30):
I was at this point, let me think of the
five times I've gone to the vet.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Rat poison, rat poison not in the top five.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
Okay, what's that a pool moodle?

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Well, you know what toys, pet toys that are made
for petsutible by the way.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
That are supposed to be made for pets.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Twenty percent of the vet calls that they had to
do for dogs are because of the toys that are
made for the dogs and they're not made well enough
or they're not you know when I've.

Speaker 6 (33:02):
Bought so many toys that say they are like they're
they're extra tough and like chee and shoe resistant and
all that, and those are the ones she gets through first,
and your dogs like bull like, it's crazy what the
dog can and can't shoot through. I've bought all these
Kong toys that are basically made out of kevlar.

Speaker 7 (33:18):
She can rip those open. But there's this one so
elephant toy. Yes, yeah, yeah, it's one tiny.

Speaker 6 (33:25):
Stuffed elephant though that's just a basic as elephant.

Speaker 7 (33:29):
No, can't rip that one up. We've had it the
entire time we've had the dog.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Okay, so that's number two on the list, number four
on the list. I know your dog had an issue with.
That's the reason I picked this topic because it was
all the kind of your dog tall tennis ball.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
No, that was the toy. That was that one. But
there you go sticks. Remember your dog was just eating.

Speaker 7 (33:52):
I have a pile like right now.

Speaker 6 (33:54):
It's her favorite thing is pine cones, but like they're
not the not the full like like when you think
of a pine cone where they're all out, there's a
version of it then when they look like chicken tenders.

Speaker 7 (34:04):
And so I just have like a pile of these
showed up.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
Chicken tender and I'm talking to pile rust it's it's
it's like two feet high, right that I have to
just like keep taking them in these Okay, I've lived
in this house now this is the thirty year of
linten this house, maybe fourth year. I kind of forget
time is a time is a visious circle. Right, my
house is being dive bombed in a way that I
think the squirrels are mad that I have a dog
and dog the dog like it hates the squirrels, so

(34:31):
they've been like unleashing the pine cone. I got a
metal roof, and this is just all day long, boom boom.
I've never heard it happen.

Speaker 7 (34:41):
Like this before.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
And I think the squirrels like it figured out to
use the pine cones as a weapon against the dog.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Well, we had that event it was at Linda Bird's
place when you took your dog out to Linda birds
place when we did.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
A live thing out there, and you had toys, but
your dog just wanted to eat, and she'll eat the
whole stick. Okay, So that so.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Nine percent of the vet trips were because dogs are
eating sticks. But number one is eating chocolate. And people,
children and people do freak out of a dog eat chocolate.
But I don't think chocolate will really kill it dog.
It will, yeah, really, yes, that's a real thing.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Six percent of the vet trips because if you eight chocolate.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Especially if your chocolate is infused with marijuana.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
I think the chocolate as well, well, that's like a wheeleg.
There's like a lot of weird stuff that your dog
can't eat. I think grapes. I know, grapes is one
of avocados. You can't give to a dog. Onions, you're
not supposed to give a dog.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
But if you're okay, let's say you dropped a chocolate
covered raisin on the floor and you're like, I don't
want to get up, and the dog eats a chocolate
covered raisin, It's not gonna die, right.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
Literally, that's the two worst things for dogs are raisins
and chocolate.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Really, yes, buddy, I didn't know about the raisins. But
I think it's all in moderation. I think one it's
gonna be fine, upset it's tummy because something else small
dog is.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Some people overreact like, oh my god, say some people
you know exactly about that.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
You think it is not covering very well. Chocolate is fine.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
You don't got to rush the dog of the vet
just because they have a little piece of chocolate.

Speaker 7 (36:16):
Yeah, I mean you should, Uh.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
Especially dark what are you spent on that one dog?

Speaker 7 (36:22):
I know, like milk chocolate you like, no, you don't
have It's not great for them.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
But you know, dark chocolates worse.

Speaker 6 (36:27):
Specifically dark chocolate, because dark chocolate has two things in it.
It's got the chemical that from chocolate that the canty,
and then it's got caffeine in it.

Speaker 7 (36:34):
It's like it's double whammy.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Okay, So this is this is from the vets of America.
So for dogs, the things they of America that's of America.
Number one was chocolate for dogs. Number two, the toys
that are made for dogs, the toys, clothing, and shoes.
Then it sticks and then it's money for cats. The
number one thing they had to you to what you

(36:56):
want to guess?

Speaker 3 (36:57):
I know it? What humans?

Speaker 4 (36:58):
My sister has spent thousands? What string?

Speaker 1 (37:00):
String is number one?

Speaker 7 (37:02):
Yeah, eat a whole yarn.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
Thirty four percent of the clothing string.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
That they send cats to the vet for is for string.
Number two is toys that were made for them. Three
hair ties and accessories. Oh yeah, hair And then like
office supplies, what are cats doing with office supplies?

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Love highlighters?

Speaker 7 (37:20):
Hey you catch.

Speaker 5 (37:23):
No why?

Speaker 1 (37:26):
I don't know why I said that.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
It sounded funny. Hey, real quick before your money is
number number five, just to give you an idea. Rest
on the list of things that are toxic for your dog,
Raisins and chocolate are one and two. Raisins are raisins, grapes, chocolate.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
I guess I should have gotten short shorts.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
A difference of it's gonna upset your your dog's stomach
as to it's going to be toxic for your dog.
So that's uh, that's instantly killed them. Though it depends
on how rais Raisins can cause a cute kidney failure
in dogs. There's no known safe amount, so.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Covered raising is the worst thing. Yeah, yeah, okay, and
that was right.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
And the so the key the key thing here is like,
you know, because we were as humans going to be like, oh,
it's just one. They're specifically saying, we don't know what
the amount is that can can be can affect your dogs.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
The little one, little baby, but it could be that
that that.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Amount, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
All Right, We're gona take a break.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
We come back where we bring you Monster Sports, reminding
you we do have hair take us to Universal Studios
