Pizzeria and Market of bringing you Monster Sports Russ. Let's
start with the Orlando Magic because are boys. They're on
one right now. We are hitting all cylinders as they say,
and the Orlando Magic are playing the Chicago Bulls today.
Want to give a huge shout out to Jeremias Restaurant
and Bar in Mount Dora. I hosted a Orlando Magic
(03:05):
watch party on Friday there, first time that I got
to go hang on at that place. Absolutely fantastic bar.
This in No Dora, Okay, So was there Friday, did that,
then hot tailed it back and did a live what
the Hell's angel listening to? But the Magic beat the
Pistons and then again it was NBA Group Stage. Insane game,
(03:25):
absolutely insane game. But we do beat the Pistons one
twelve to one oh nine.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
They beat a team over the over the holiday and
it was.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
One oh three. That was the six Ers. That was
on Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, that was that was a complete Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Our guys right now, the the group of guys that's
on the plane right now, they're absolutely their chemistry is fantastic,
their energy is fantastic.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
So we're above five hundred.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
We are currently sitting at RUSS twelve and eight as well. Yeah,
it's twelve and eight as we again as we get ready.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
To save our energy at the beginning of the season
and we come out hot.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Fire about no no, no, no oneam games.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
You're forgetting then that the first two weeks, we had
guys that wanted to trade the coach away.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
What were unhappy?
Speaker 6 (04:13):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
And I was telling people, hey, calm down, give us
time some give the team some time to uh to
get acclimated. I said, give them twenty five games. I
got people texting me, who says, twenty five games, that's
not a thing. We need to make changes right now.
Look at where we're at today, twelve and eight teams
looking good.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
I told you so. Yes, I would never do that.
I'm not that petty. Yes you are.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
You famously said you're that you like being.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
That Petty no no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Tom Petty's angel.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
Petty yeah, or I am that you love it number
one in the East.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
And we did have some people that thought the whole
team was just on fire right out the gate, and
I think they were wrong. You know how it takes
a second to get the vibe going.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, so again.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Now now at the end of the season, I might
yell and that you were wronged everybody?
Speaker 3 (05:08):
All right?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
The one what you want to happen right now, and
this is hopefully and people have and actually watching the
broadcast on Friday and listen to some of the other
guys that around that are closer in the inner circles
of the Orlando Magic. The takeaway that you want, this
is what you want to happen. You want Paolo who's
been sitting there and he's been with the team, he's
traveling with the team, he's getting over that groin injury.
(05:31):
You want him to visualize and he's seeing this and
to be a part of this chemistry. Not to take
away from him.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
If you remember last year, they were, they were on fire,
and then Paulo came back and then they fell off.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
They like to but we got decimated by injury though,
like we we had two of our I mean, we
really got decimated by injuries.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
He missed. He missed forty games last year.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
US when he came back.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Yeah, but they see it.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
I don't know. I'm hoping they're doing like team.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Building exercises while he's injured, you know, maybe doing some improv,
maybe playing some PlayStation or something like something that keeps
them all together mentally.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
They will be fine and everything will be fine. He's
a superstar, he's an all star. That's just you know,
temper temper your expectations again today, Uh, they're the magic
host of Bulls. That's at seven thirty here at the
Kia Center. All right, we'll go to NBA actually, because
it was just absolutely insane week. Now we ate it
(06:30):
in the We took it into shorts with our angel O,
Ryan Parlay of the day. I got the Packers and
Lions right, and then I should have followed my gut
instincts because as soon as Russ said the Cowboys, I
should have taken the Chiefs, and as soon as Russ
said the Ravens, I should have taken the Bengals.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
And that's uh, where it was.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
The cow the Cowboys won.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
The opposite.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Yeah, you we all agreed that the Chiefs were gonna win.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Oh and uh and and so then I should have
taken the Cowboys. And we all agreed the Ravers were
gonna win, and you were even a part of that.
And where we where we differed was that you thought
the that the Lions were going to beat the Packers,
and I was like, nah, there, the Packers are gonna
win that one.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Packers did win.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, uh so some intro.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
But again, the last these last couple of weeks of
the NFL actually has just been absolutely insane. Bears number
one in their division. Yeah, and they and they crushed
the Eagles twenty four to fifteen. Who would have thought Nobody,
absolutely nobody unless you're obviously Bears fans and people in Chicago,
but nobody else. So congratulations you guys. Dolphins, Miami Dolphins
(07:36):
say it's.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Twenty one to seventeen, but oh my god, they almost
threw that away though at the end, my god, they
it was an interesting game, but boy, they almost almost screwed.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
The pitch on it like that, Like the Dolphins were
on the verge of like security, like weeks ago, you
guys could have been in the hunt for the number
one draft pick. Now you guys, now, you guys got
to flirt with bead five hundred.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, they're just gonna beat all the teams that are
not good. And so the next the next actual game
we have is against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
That's no, no, no, no, hold on there what the Jets
all addressing Steelers when we get there. But it's bad
times in Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Oh so you think the Dolphins would beat Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
I would never do that. I would never say that
out loud. What I'm going to tell you is you
said it. No, no, it's bad times in Pittsburgh, and
we'll address that when we get there. Texans beat the
Colts twenty to sixteen, Jets beat the Falcons twenty seven
to twenty four, forty nine, Ers all over the Browns
twenty six to eight.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
And then Panthers.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Panthers will beat the Rams.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Did you see that?
Speaker 1 (08:38):
How that happens?
Speaker 7 (08:39):
Dude?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
They were balled.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
That was a ridiculous game itself. Again, they were balling
out and they beat the Rams thirty one to twenty eight.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
Jaguars m the AFC seven. That's crazy good too, Jaguar.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Twenty five to twenty five to three over the Titans.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
And going back to we we're in the NFL right now.
I want to go back to the Detroit game because
did you see Old Shady came out during halftime?
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Yeah, but it was so he got the same deal
that jay Z has, and so he signed Jack White,
another Detroit native.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yeah, so Jack White, Jack White.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Again reaffirming he does not get the love that he
deserves right now as far as one being, are one
of our rock gods. And then uh, and then then
obviously yeah, he brings out Eminem so and the.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Place went absolutely nuts. It was super cool. Uh, here's
my question to you, Angel for people who are you know,
are younger or whatever, do they know who Eminem is?
He's still okay, So he's still relevant. It's not like
we've bought on an old guy like Eminem is still
a big deal even if you're in your twenty.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
With rap is interesting thing because like with with your
rock songs that your rock guys they don't like reference
older rock bands a lot. But in the hip hop game,
you're always trying to be better and be the best,
so you'll throw out like the names the old heads.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
I mean, like the other thing that em does is
that so you got young guys that are coming that
want to come up, but they want to take a
shot out of the title, and then they'll take a
shot at him in a song or a diss song
or whatever, and he addresses all of them. So the
most recent example I think was probably Machine Gun Kelly
and he's, uh, he destroyed the Machine Gun.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Kelly's career and he's got him, made him an NEMO singer.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, he does like Machinea Kelly doesn't rap anymore, you know,
So that that's what keeps in relevant because like, you know,
the young ones who thought that Machine Gun Kelly was
a rap god and then he went up against the
role rap god and then he's like, oh.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
What happened to my guy? Why is he wearing fingernails figuring?
You know?
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Uh so you know, so, yeah, he's still he's relevant. Yeah,
for the most part. It was a pretty big deal
when he came out.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Uh so we were at Jaguars, Uh.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Jacks are doing good. Man, can't make fun of him now.
The teams we.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Got to Jacksonville, the community.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
When you will embarrassed, we did a good coach.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
But when you're winning, you know, just shout out to
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Tough game.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
After we get no, they won. They wait, they beat
the Cardinals twenty to seventeen. Okay, after they lost, and
then Seahawks beat the vipe Man Vikings spinning out of control.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
Borrow the big old goose the Seahawks.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
That's why I didn't glad of him become a fan
of the Vikings this year. My brothers told me not
to be, to be careful of that, and I put
my fandom down.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
If you remember, on the preseason where they.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Played against the Patriots, they said, winner of that game,
we'll determine a fandom for next year.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
Patriots won, and now the.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Best team in the NFL right now, Yeah, the Patriots
are the best team in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Alright.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
So the Seahawks beat the Vikings twenty six to zero,
Chargers beat the Raiders thirty one to fourteen. Bill's won
Broncos versus the Commodores. That was going to be twenty
seven to twenty six Monday Night Football. Tonight's could be
Giants and Patriots a't a eight fifteen game. Then we'll
get back to the Buffalo Bills going into Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Can we do that we come back.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Oh, it's not gonna be a segments where.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
But we also got it. We have to talk about
the college because there's a lot of college.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Stuff going on.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Okay, so we do that more Monster Sports when we
come back. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the manch
the morning. Hey, thanks for listening to The Monster's Mornings.
We're Radio one on four point one broadcasting live on
(12:29):
I Heart Radio, live on our YouTube channel, Real Radio.
Monsters on YouTube. Ran just playing games with different.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
People playing word.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
People tell me they got it in four rush and
I'm gonna get it at least five. I'm sad, sad
when the YouTubers beating me.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
There you go, all right, well you got that going on,
and still still doing a little Monsters Sports. We weren't
done with the NFL, and I do want to talk
a little bit about college football and that one coach
and also the Florida Florida State game. All that good
stuff happening over the past five days. Lots of sports happening.
And Angel I think we left off with the Steelers.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
That were Yeah, so uh as the season was starting,
and you know, everyone was like piling on and like, oh, Angel,
you know you need to be rooting for your quarterback
because oh it's a Aaron Rodgers and blah blah blah blah.
And I was kind of even keeled about it. And
my fandom was being questioned meffers that don't know anything
(13:26):
about anything. We're getting at me about, oh, you know
you have these rules and everything, and we're exactly where
I thought we would be.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
What do you mean Steelers?
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Pittsburgh Steelers are more than likely not going to make
the playoffs. So it's gonna be the first time in
twenty years or some o years he's not performing well
something that you've never know he's not. He's again, he
wasn't the answer. He absolutely was not the answer. He
is not the answer. He's not the answer for any
for any team, doesn't matter who you are, that guy
is not your answer that you need to get to
(14:00):
the next level. And then, for the first time that
I've ever seen, and uh, as far as I've ever
been a fan, when the fans are openly chanting to
fire the head coach that's been popular, that never happens
in Pittsburgh. And again that's just the frustration, the level
of frustration that's happening with the fan base when you
(14:21):
know a lot of people bought into this a lot,
and I don't blame them, a lot of people bought
into this. I was just hoping they would have been
more cautious about jumping into the deep end of the pool.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
With this guy.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah and uh yeah, we're we as a as a team,
as a franchise, we are in tough times.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
And who beat them this week? The Bills did the
I mean, the Bills are good.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
No, no, they're not there wait till the playoffs coming.
They're charade, they're not gonna win anything. But it was
the way that the Bills did it, the way that
the Bills were pushing them around on the field, the
way that they kind of uh you know, absolutely went
into uh uh into that stadium and we're not intimidated,
(15:02):
and we're not you know, I just it was the
way that the Pittsburgh Steelers lost that home game is
very uncharacteristic. The way that the fans responded I and
I understand, I get it. That's that's frustration, you know,
And so I don't anticipate Tomlin making out making it
out of whatever happens with the with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
(15:24):
I don't see him as their head coach next year.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
I just don't. You don't come back from.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
That, really, I mean, he's had has he been the
coach we so for a long long time?
Speaker 2 (15:33):
What what what I'm talking about when it comes to
the coaching and everything.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Can't make it?
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Yeah, yeah, because again you get to a point where, okay, cool,
we're you know, we're we're ten and seven, we're ten
and seven, ten some. But then we don't do anything
in the playoffs, you know, we don't make it to
the semi finals, we don't make it to the super Bowl,
you know, So that this is this is the beginning
of it where there is going to and the family,
the Rudis have said that Tomlin's going to be a
(15:57):
part of whoever the next head coach is, He's going
to be a part of that. They've said that openly.
They have a great relationship Pittsburgh Steelers. In the history
of the franchise, we've had three head coaches, you know,
so it's a it's a franchise that doesn't take these
decisions lately, you know, but I think it's it.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Is absolutely time. It's absolutely time. And the reason.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Our offense isn't evolved, Our offense isn't sophisticated, you know,
and so you it's it's pretty easy to scheme to us,
and our defense has been over rated for the last
season and a half, you know. So it's you know,
it's a bummer, and it was really bummer. It was
not fun to watch them get I don't mind if
(16:38):
we lose, and it's a hard fought game and you're
in the trenches and you're you're about it and you
could see, like you know, you could see where it's
on a missed play or something like that, there was
an opportunity to score a touchdown. Aaron Rodgers calls an
audible player the wide receiver completely completely misses it. Had
player listened hearing him, and they're on the same page,
(16:59):
and he breaks the way he's supposed to break potential touchdown. There,
outcomes are different, but again, we just we're not it's
not sophisticated.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
So is Aaron Rodgers last year.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
You think it'll be interesting because they were there with
uh four weeks ago, six weeks ago, there was talks
about having him come back next year. Really yeah, I
think the kid that we have sitting on the bench,
the rookie, I you know, I think it's time for him.
I love Mason Rudolph in a pinch, but again, he
stepped in for a player to you yesterday instantly through
(17:28):
an interception, you know. And for a game like that,
for a game at home, a game at home versus
the Buffalo Bills, we looked so unprepared. And that's the
part that that nips you in the butt when your
team doesn't look prepared and they're getting there butts handed
to him in that fashion by Buffalo. You know, any
of those teams at home that that you know, the
(17:50):
the fan base isn't going to be cool with that.
So that's again, uh disappointing. And we'll see how we
can finish out the rest of this season. And then,
like I said tonight Monday Night footballtriots, we'll go up
against the Giants.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
So keep me out. I mean, that's.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Patriots all the way, and you get you get a.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
Grab game with the Giants every time. I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
You're doing your parlayuh parlay at the day. You gotta
you gotta go with the Patriots.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Right, I mean I would, but uh, I think yeah
if I like again, we got the rule where.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
We don't bet on our teams, so.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
But we do have the rule where we bet against
each other.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
And you said you want to take the Jets this week.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
I'll take the Jets over the Dolphins for sure.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
One hundred dollars.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
You want to do a hondo on it?
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Cash money?
Speaker 5 (18:38):
All right, let's see, I got a Honda, I got
a hondo.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
You want to do one hundred dollars on the Jets
and the Dolphins?
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Yeah? Sight up, straight up, straight up.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
Yeah, I think that the Dolphins are the Dolphins.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Where is it that the Jets are turning around?
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Is it in Jet Land or is it down in
the hard Rock? No?
Speaker 3 (18:58):
What's up in New York?
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Okay, there's still the Jets. They're terrible.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
Still the Jets, they are.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
They are awful, but they're not as awful as the Dolphins.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
No, there were.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Dolphins have won the past like in the past five weeks,
have won four games.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
The Dolphins are five and seven, playing a bunch of
teams that thought the Dolphins were just gonna flop. And
I think that they were not prepared when the Dolphins
actually showed up and played a game.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
You think the Jets will be more prepared this week.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
I think so.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
I mean, the Jets are three and nine, but the
Dolphins are a trash team.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
And it's a playoff or it's a not playoff game.
Division games, Yeah, it is a division game.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
It's in the cold.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
It's in the cold. Yeah, and the fish don't like
to be cold.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Well, wears, just do it. It's on. Okay, very good. Hey,
did you watch a lot of any or any college
football this' because it was all a rivalry weekend and
a lot.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
A bunch of bitches. The players from Minnesota are I'll
tell you that.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Why.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Okay, So last year there was a big hubbub right
where Ohio.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
City of Minnesota, and you are in Michigan, Michigan. You
don't have to state Michigan game.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Yeah, yeah, where Michigan made a big deal about how
the year before they planted their flag in the middle
of the Ohio field right, and the whole thing was like, oh, well,
if you didn't want us to do that, you guys
just should have won.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
So cut to this year, Ohio kicks the crap out
of Michigan.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
And then they.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Line up and they're like they got a flag.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
Ready to go, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Like, and then the Michigan players, like a bunch of
little babies, like.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Guarded the field.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
No.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Well, okay, so they couldn't plant the flag.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
That might might have been the imminentery or some of
the stuff that was been playing out. But it was
actually their head coach, Ryan Day, the head coach, and
again a ton of class of that guy. He's the
one that ran off his football team of the off
the field and said that we're not doing that.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
It was it was the head coach.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
Yeah, but still they still stood there and guarded it
so it wouldn't happen. And I think that was a
bitch move because if you're gonna come out and make
the statement like, oh, you should have won, if you
don't want us to do it, then you guys just
staying there like a bunch of dorks who didn't win.
You should have guarded your end zone better. How about
that Michigan didn't.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
They were like the Ohio Buckeye went out and like,
uh that was the snow he like he was his
foot that was pre game though over the end everybody
was upset by it. That stuff is silly. Yeah, yeah,
but that was that was a big game. Yeah, Florida
Florida State. I had to watch that. I always do
(21:27):
it now. Listen, both Florida and Florida State were not
good this year. They were not even close to being
in any playoffs or anything, you know like that. But
that's always a big game, you know, that's always you know,
in state rivalry or whatever. And like, obviously I'm a
Gator fan, so I thought it was a great game,
but anyone else watch.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
It just me, No, it's garbage.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
No, it's a dumpster fire of a game.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Well, well they had it wasn't a dumpster fire of
a game that they had a running back that uh
he beat the record of EMMITTT. Smith uh for the Gators,
like had that one of the best performances ever in
any Florida game ever.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Yeah, but like they're playing the crappy team, Like they're
not playing the same teams that they're playing the Florida
State that you grew up.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Yeah, Florida Stapers trash, the Florida's trash that like none
of those like like none of them are doing anything.
None of them are making postseason they might get invited
to like the Cracker Bowl.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Well I think that. I think that running back though,
is going to go high in the draft. I mean him, yeah,
I mean congratulations, he's really good. So anyway, I enjoyed that.
Now and then what's going on with the one crappy
coach that basically is not going to follow his team,
you know, into the playoffs because he got another job.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
This is funny because because Rush does I remember this right,
So about five seven years ago, we had the same
argument about this same coach when he left whatever a
team he was before.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
So it's Lane Kiffin.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Lane Kiffin's is the head coach for Ole Miss and
there was a bunch of drama that he was either
going to go to Florida or to LSU. And in
the eleventh hour, finally, after the end of all the
football games on Saturday night, he finally makes the announcement
because there was so there was speculation that he could
There was other teams uh potentially involved or interested or whatever,
(23:09):
and so he goes to it makes the decision or
announcement that he's going to LSU.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
He's going to go to LSU. But but during the
middle of the season, like he's not going to complete
with his team in the playoff.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
We're done. All they have is like two games left.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Well, I know he's not going to go for those
two games, but he should. He should, he should complete
the season.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Offers, he asked, and they said no. I wonder why
they said no, because the way that the deal is
or the way that it happens right now, and this
is like, like, I what you're mad at. There's what
people were mad at years and years and years ago.
But football has changed for us, and so it's changed
to the point now, hey, you're not you're going to
(23:49):
take this deal, Okay, then you should leave down because
we're not going to have you around our team and
our coaches and potentially take recruit them away to go
with you to the next your next job.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
So for the next two games they have the next playoffs,
it's the bowl games, right.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
I think it's a playoff game and bowl game.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
I think so for those they're just going to use,
like the assistant coach.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
And the assistant coach in this particular circumstances, assistant coach
at ole Miss, he's probably just as popular as Lane Kiffin.
The fans love this guy.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
There again, he's connected with the players and and all
of that, and so as far again this is old
missus opinion. They don't think that there's that big of
a drop off. Lane Kiffin is a messy dude. He's
a messy head coach. And every time that he's left
one of these jobs r US, he's left it in
exactly the same kind of messy kind of fashions.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
Makes it easier for him win later.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Yeah, so he's he's just this there was in the
sense of is there was there a better way to
do this or a more tactful way to do this?
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Yeah? Sure. But Sabe in his texting you and being like, hey, dude,
take the job.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
Shout out to the lineback for LSU that's dating his daughter.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
He really yeah, and like.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
Has been like I feel like this dude has plays
forty chess all the time.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
I think it's his kid.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Yeah, it's weird weeks as a linebacker for lf it's
l s U and he's dating his Lane Kiffin's daughter.
Uh and has been like trolling on social media.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Texters are remembering when he left Tennessee you and I
got into this big giant argument. It's it's the same dude,
it's this is what he does. He's a messy no loyalty,
but what there There is no loyalty in college football, man,
there really isn't. All of that has gone to the wayside.
Everyone's going after the bag, whether it's the players, whether
(25:40):
it's the coaches.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
It's crazy they make that much money, the coaches making
twelve million dollars agreed. Do you see that that video
of booing the guy when he's walking to his car
or whatever. They're like booing him, screaming at him. But
he don't care.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
People are remembering he trn to see that way he
left USC that way he's he's he's just when it
comes to that part of his career and the way
that and there's a cooler way that he could do it. Yeah,
he I don't think he has it in him to
choose that. I tried to watch the UCF game Ryan.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
It was going pretty well for a while.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
They went up fourteen nothing on b YU.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
Yeah, yeah against the eleventh, number eleven team b YU
on right.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
If they did Russ is right, and then and.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Then and then okay, but and then it's still a
good game for a while.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
You know, I'm not gonna not go see if they
were they were.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
You know, they're my team, and uh, I think it's
a rebuilding decade and.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
We'll be remember when they were like, you know, like undefeated,
and yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
Remember when we were supposed to be have Scott Frost
back and everything was supposed to be better again, except
that Scott Frost is a fraud.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
No, so you see it's gonna It's been a rough year.
It has been, for sure, But that game, it showed
that like they could do it if they wanted to.
There's no want it.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
I don't want to.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Yeah, why do it?
Speaker 5 (27:02):
Exactly, get it together?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
One hundred dollars, You got the Jets. You want to
go one hundred and twenty five?
Speaker 5 (27:09):
No, I don't want to go one hundred and twenty.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Let's go on twenty five.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
No, no, no, you see what he's doing right, well doing
and they trying to bully you out of the bet.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
No, I try to pull it out of the bet.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
I mean, like, you know, well, because if if you're
throwing money around like that, I'll take the I'll take
a bet with you.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
I'll take the Jets over my id before, it's.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
No fun to pick on you afterwards, after like win
or lose, I have fun with Ryan. Like if he wins,
I bring out three boxes and he takes the wrong box,
and then I get a laugh. You know, you won't
take the box. How about how about one hundred dollars No,
one hundred and twenty five dollars in kettle corn, bag
of kettle corn.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
Oh I thought you made one hundred and twenty five
dollars in kettle corn.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
No.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
No, no, that's a lot of popcorn.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
If I because I'm taking the I'm taking the you know,
because the.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Jets are you know the Jets.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Wait, hold on, look at the sprint because I said
I'm looking at that the Dogs, the Jets.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
But it's in.
Speaker 5 (27:59):
Dolphins our favorite.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Yeah, yeah, your.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Dolphins in the favorite. So yeah, he's trying to bully you.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Now, this is what he's trying to bully some kettle
corn out of him.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Look, dude, you take it. Miami Dolphins are owing forever
against any team in the cold. They can't do it.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
Okay, So I'm putting up kettle corn. What do I
want from you?
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Then?
Speaker 4 (28:22):
Look, your's the advantage here because you're in the cold,
so I could get a little.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
I'll give you the twenty five, okay, all right, so
then I get whatever when we when you win, I
got twenty five percent and or twenty.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Five and a couple bucks back.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
I'll then move you the twelve day.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
But then when I win, I want the one twenty
five and some kettle corn. And I want you to
play a kiss song.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Don't make me play.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Kiss No rejoic rejoy.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
You're gonna play a kiss song? I hurt my feelings
A kiss rejoy.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
A last I get something? All right, break, don't go anywhere.
You're listening to the match of the morning.
Speaker 6 (29:27):
I'll kill Piana young felly.
Speaker 7 (29:34):
That do I want money?
Speaker 2 (29:50):

Christmas albums, and this is one of the most iconic ones.
And if you get a chance, pick up the album.
It's Navid with Hector Lavo Willie Colonne and this particular

(31:50):
I want to thank Mills Air. Just call MO and
Lady James, you know, of course, Ats and Cuties Production.
I saw the sash that Lady James made. It looks awesome.
They've got a really cool uh crown for the winner
for this year, and uh, it's gonna be a lot
of fun. Man, looking forward to uh to this Friday night.
I think you will dig it. Hey, what do you
(32:11):
guys think about this?
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Are you?
Speaker 5 (32:13):
I don't like it?
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Yeah? I don't like it either. I don't like it either, right,
so let's just move on. Alright, So now let's let's
tell people what we don't like. Cheetos and Doritos have
decided that they made a promise that they were gonna go, uh,
you know, go artificial die free. So now they have
a new line of Cheetos and Doritos there to come
(32:35):
out that are colorless, no color, no color to them,
but they taste the same. So it says they'll taste
the same, but there's no color, so that your Cheetos
aren't gonna look Cheeto color and your Doritos aren't gonna
look Dorito color and no orange. Uh, they'll be they'll
be colorless. And uh, they like if we want to
give the public what they want, you know, and it's
it's healthier and all this kind of stuff. Eh, I
(32:58):
don't know what we've learned about. What was it clear pepsi?
Speaker 5 (33:03):
Is?
Speaker 1 (33:03):
The color of it in our mind makes a difference,
you know, like like it might clear pepsi tasted the
same as pepsi, but it was clear and nobody wanted it.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
So that clear pepsi was awful.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
It tasted the same, No, it did not, It was
it had a different There was there was a horrible
aftertaste with that. That was the reason why it failed.
It didn't taste like pepsi. I thought it was just
because it didn't look.
Speaker 5 (33:25):
Like Chris crystal pepsi was a different flavor than pepsi.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Yeah, they were using whatever, whatever the modern sweetener of
that moment was. They were using that, and that's why
that's why it failed.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
Miserable, how you feeling about Cheetos that don't look like
Cheetos and Doritos that don't look.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
Like None of that stuff matters, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Like that that red five that they're trying to take out,
it might be slightly cancers, then get rid of it.
If it doesn't effect the flavor at all, get rid
of the bad stuff.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
No, it's gotta be bright orange. It's gotta it's gotta.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
Leave to have clear residue in my head. Dreafter he
eat Doritos. It looks like I got attacked.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
The face of actual science behind this, and there's been
linked with both of these guys that are linked to
cancer and and the position that you're in orange cancer.
You're gonna go when's the last time you had a Cheeto?
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (34:17):
I eat Cheetos when I had a couple of weeks ago.
If Verry oln gets them, I eat. I love cheetos,
They're so good. No, no, I do.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
You're a grown man. You just sit there and eat cheetos.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
If I'll make a sandwich and I'll put some Cheetos
to the side, you know, it's like it's it's.
Speaker 5 (34:32):
Like little you're an adult, sir, you're not. That's not
that's for baby.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
That's debatable that I'm an adult. I like you don't
like cheetos.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
We didn't like Cheetos.
Speaker 4 (34:42):
I like them, but I don't go out of my
way to go get them. It's a child's food. It's
got a cartoon cat on it.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
I don't like the puffy one. Those puffy ones are
for baby.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
That's ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Wait, cheese puffy chea.
Speaker 5 (34:55):
Yeah, more for adults.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
Cheetos that are that are you know, the crunchy little shit?
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Now the cheese ball is the is the epitome of
the perfect cheese snash.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
For kids.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
You can't eat cheese balls to be cannibalism.
Speaker 5 (35:18):
Adults can eat cheetahs.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
YouTube.
Speaker 5 (35:20):
YouTube is yelling at me.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
Now, adults can eat Cheetos, that's fine, but they're primarily
we can agree they're for kids.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
Correct.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Yeah, Yeah, the same with Takey's. There's certain chips that
are not for us.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Texting service, thank you so much. Texting person. Blah blah blah.
Remember when they made green ketchup? Nobody wanted it because
the color it tasted the same color was different.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
But it wasn't for us. Though the kids loved it.
The green kids loved the green ketchup. They would that's
the problem with it. We thought that that we thought
as adults, Oh, green, catchup. They're trying to get me.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
No they're not. They're trying to get your kids.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
So do you think that colorlessos and colorless Cheetos are
gonna sell?
Speaker 3 (35:59):
Well, yeah I do not. Now you're going to be shocked.
Speaker 5 (36:03):
You think, yeah, I would eat more.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
Like Honestly, one of the reasons I don't eat Doritos
more is because you get that orange nonsense all over
your hands too.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
But it's like it's gonna be that whole clothes.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
You accidentally wipe your shirt, you get an.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Orange for example, Russ.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Right, So for example, any of these, any of these
employers and job sizes and everything, like for us, an example,
we got vending machines, right, yeah, and you're gonna have
employees gonna be like, oh, why.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Don't you give us more healthy options?
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Blah blah blah, blah, and then they're going to fill
that thing with that that kind of stuff in there
and it's gonna you know.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Healthy options.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Yeah, that's that's a complaint.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
That's the complete health food, I meaning clear Cheetos.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
But again it's exactly the same.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
It's not it's not healthy healthy, it's healthy er in
the senses doesn't have that die.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
That's that's it.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
That's the is rfk's idea is that whose idea?
Speaker 4 (36:50):
This is one of those guys where he wants to
get the preservatives and all the stuff out of food,
and that I totally agree with.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Yeah, and like he's thee like because of that, we're
going back to sugar like straight have a regular sugar
and sodas not corn fruit toast rup.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
All these aspects of our diet.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, have been in question for quite some time, but
we've been it's been run as the consumers. We've been
run roughshod by the manufacturers russ. If you go to
other parts of the world, these things have been taken
out of those populations food.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
I thought though there were ways to make the colors happen,
but to make it more like not with chemicals, like
with natural food in the food.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
You might be one hundred percent right.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
None of the companies that make these things here in
America care about that.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Why because it costs more to do that.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
Yeah, it all comes down to the market.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
So and sometimes you have to have the government come
in and go, hey, stop doing that, and then you
have to force them to change and that this is
something I agree with. And companies are smart, they'll make
the change themselves so then they're later not forced to
do it.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
We got to do a taste test. We'll get some
clear Cheetos and we'll get irregular good old.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
When when do they get dropped?
Speaker 1 (38:02):
It?
Speaker 3 (38:02):
Is it coming or is there? Are they already out?
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Hold on?
Speaker 3 (38:05):
See, I just is.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
Their name changes?
Speaker 2 (38:08):
I know they're calling naked Ryan Okay, that's yeah, it's
Dorito's and Cheetos.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
N k D.
Speaker 5 (38:15):
Hard to find the KLO.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
Naked when one of the when naked ones coming out?
Speaker 2 (38:18):
A hold on, oh oh look at the package naked
they're they're in some of the big box stores already, Russ.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
You can get them now, yep, all right, let's run
to public shut the show down.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Not that one another one simply in in KD and
k D. Yeah, there they are okay, show me Ryan
look at the pack.
Speaker 5 (38:37):
Yeah, okay, see I like that better.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
That like when foods are not a color that exists
in nature, it frees me out.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Man, not like a company like, for example, a company
like Takeito's right our takis. I'm sorry talkies. That was
that's purely for kids. They have a blue and green
corn ship. Wonder what they're gonna.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
Do, right, Yeah, give me the get the color out
of there. I don't like the colors. Don't mark that
you tell.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
The difference, Like if I if I, if I put
up you.
Speaker 5 (39:08):
Know holes, that's what I meant. I met in doritos.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
So if I put a blindfold on you and get
and give you a Cheeto, that's you know, regular color.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
And never let you blindfold me and give me your cheetos,
taste the difference. Why is this cheeto so meaty and lumpy?
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (39:36):
Yeah, I like. I don't like that they're called naked though.
That's the only thing they're not called naked.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
It's k n KD. Your mind, you made it dirty.
They didn't make it means naked though KD is naked.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
Yeah, So it's not like I don't want to think
about it like in that way, like just call it
no color.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (39:55):
Wow, you're gonna keep on dancing on that?
Speaker 5 (39:57):
Ye call it? Call it Dorito's colors don't matter.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Hey, if you're gonna do tai chi, would you do
it naked or would you have pants on?
Speaker 3 (40:04):
What put your pants on? Russ?
Speaker 5 (40:07):
Did you do naked tai Chians?
Speaker 3 (40:09):
Not yet?
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Someone told me you're supposed to do it naked.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
No, no one told you that.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
I know, I guess, so there's nobody.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
No one told you.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Someone said, tai chi, the real Chinese people do it naked.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
They don't.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
That's what I was told.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
So was messing with you?
Speaker 4 (40:24):
