it's right there at the corner four thirty six and
four thirty four, right by there's a an Irish pub there.
That's where he's at. So h thank you, My appreciate it, buddy.
So you know, it sprinkled at my house yesterday, and
when I got here this morning, I turned on the
(01:35):
National News National News. They were like in central Florida,
lots of flooding happening, and they shut out the car
that was underwater in I think it was the land.
I believe it somewhere in central Florida and they're like
lots of flooding in central Florida state. You guys must
have had it like a lot of rain yesterday. Yeah. Yeah,
it woke me up.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
I was in bed early and I remember it was
coming down that hard enough that it woke me up
about ten o'clock, ten eleven o'clock.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
All that needs to happen.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Look, if I need, if I need a good strong
rain to happen, all I have to do is fill
up my pool myself with water for about four.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Hours and then it'll rain every single time. We're getting
texta A lot of people are saying that there's a
lot of flooding in Mount Dora and some roads are
closed right Angel, Yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
This is as far as the information that's available to
us right now. Looks like they're gonna be doing an
update here soon. But Donnelly Street north of Limit av
and south of US Full forty one has been washed
out and is impassable.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
A Wolf Wolf.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Branch Road at Timberlake Drive Road washed out green places.
I don't think so Wolf Branch, Wolf Branch Roads. Wolf
Branch is in downtown is off the main I thought.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
One of the other roads we have here is US
Full forty one from Limited Avenue to Bristol Lake Road,
and forty one is flooding parts of four forty one.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah, wow, a couple of different parts.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah, and then and yeah, and so that's the most
recent update that they have. I'd heard you if you're
wanting to keep up to date with this either chok.
I'm sure the news reports are there, but also the
City of Mount Dora's website is a good resource there
as well.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Damn like that Ryan is showing on our YouTube channel.
Don Lee Street there we go. Yeah, washed out and
that's in Mount door Car down there. Man, Holy crap,
that's from wesh. Oh that's bad. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Like when you think flooding, I'm like, okay, and this
is like like when you see an island nation be flooded.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
That is there were people, So that is really bad.
Well I guess that's why I made national news. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
And then there was because like they were breaking into
the football game last night, interrupting the broadcast because of
the volume. There was a tornado watch last night. There
was a tornadic activity. There was just it was all
coming from Cape canaveral Merritt Island that way, coming inwards.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I just had drizzle in Winterhaven. It was just drizzling
all day. So you guys had we.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Got the business, sir, Well not we of the wand
Springs didn't get it as bad as uh Moundur as
some of those locations out there.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
It's a lot of flooding the Merrit Island at Coco
and Titusville, Yeah, all of them. That's what I was
thinking of. Titus one. Man, Uh you just got about
fifteen inches. People are saying, uh, Donnalley, Donnelly, you had
Donald street. We just saw that on on the news,
so yeah, be careful as you're getting ready to go
to work today, and and they make sure that you know,
and you know what they always say, like if you
if it looks like it's a it looks like there's
(04:30):
a lot of water, A lot of times it's not
a good idea to drive into it because you don't
know what's underneath there. Yeah, this is crazy.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
This is from a channel called weather It's Dangerous on
YouTube and they've got a bunch of different documentation from.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Around and next. Yeah, this's card flooded, like just I've
never seen anything quite like this. Man. Yeah, it happened
really quick too. I didn't know it was that bad
here yesterday. Yeah, that's the one they had on National
News and they had to save somebody from their car
because the car was about to be Uh that's wacky, bro, Like, well,
(05:02):
we did not have a hurricane.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Why there would be wacky? Well, and then you got
the hurricane that's tearing up Jamaica right now.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I know, you know said she was going to supposed
to be going to Jamaica, but I think that's gonna happen. Yeah,
because I think Jamaica is getting the business, getting a
Category five coming down on it. That's terrifying and nowhere
to go. Yeah yeah, So once again Jamaica can't just
drive away and then go up to Georgia for a weekend.
They're sending in a popka poured for hours fourteen inches
(05:27):
in Bovard County. So if you're, you know, getting ready
to go to work, you know, be careful. I would,
I don't know, I would try not to drive in.
You know, you see a bunch of you know, a
bunch of water, you don't really know what's under there,
so you know, be super careful. I would just I
don't know, I would go around it if you can,
and if you can't, you know, just hey, look I
can't get to work.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Yeah yeah, of all the day, this would be the
day that you were able to, you know, use an
excuse well and a documentary just like boss turn on
the news.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah yeah, there is flooding everywhere. Wow, I did not
know it was that bad. All right, So we have
any prizes in the prize being of today Russ, Yes

the roast there.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
But it's definitely worth signing up and getting the emails
of all the events that they bring there. They bring
in jazz artists, they bring just other artists. Think of
like the Blue Room back in the day in downtown
Orlando there, so they're bringing a bunch of cool people there.
That's where Russ they do their version of the Bluebergkape. Yeah,
(07:32):
they do that there as well. It's just acoustically and

Speaker 1 (08:29):
It's absolutely fantastic time.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
I'll get the more of the lineup because there's a

That is coming January the tenth at Campy World Stadium

is it? Yeah, that's early. I know we do, man,
I'm pretty sure either way.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
That's yeah. So where Yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
So January the tenth, but obsolutely the stunts, the big trucks, everything.
Get your tickets at ticketmaster dot com. But again it's
a four pack of tickets and pit passes to Monster
Jam at Camping World Stadium on January the tenth. And
those are the prizes in today's prize.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
That's always one of the biggest tickets we have you
know all year round is Usterdam and also t s
O that's coming up very soon. Trans Iberian Orchestra's coming
up very very soon.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
And then on Thursday, nights. So are you really so
you're taking off on Friday? Hell yeah, Friday, you're gonna
have everybody else coming in. You'll be all right. It's Halloween, Okay,
it's not a religious holiday. It is for Satan.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
That's a big deal for Yeah, you're right, dude. You
don't ever take any time off. Go ahead, take the
take Friday off. Fine, have a good time. We're just
gonna go be here. What what ends up happening when
you're not here? We get all the great food, we
get all the great hook You.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Guys do that on purpose to make me men. I
don't take days off, No, it just happens organically. We
have nothing to do with it. All right, we'll take
a little break. We come back. We will do trivia.
Uh so people are already on the line, don't go,
and it's for monsters, hamp tickets and a bunch of
other great prices. So we'll do that when we return.
You're listening to the Max in the morning, Hey man,
(10:27):
just want line. It's all the the news. The extent
of the the flooding is crazy. Realize, I had no
idea that there is that much flooding. But and then
once again, there are cars that are in ditches because
they try to drive around and it looks like water.
Just drive right here, and you don't know what's underneath,
so be careful about that. Uh. If you are trying
(10:48):
to make it to work today, you know, and you're
driving in a big thing, a big area and you
don't know what's under there, that could be a problem,
so please be careful. And uh yeah, people saying it
was raining very hard for hours yesterday, so be careful
getting work this morning. Welcome back. I am Russ Rowlands
along with Angel and Ryan here big fun. I got
(11:09):
a trivia question for a bunch of listeners who are
already on the line. Who are we gonna go with? First?
We got pack lines. Ryan, give me a number between
one and five. Let's go five. Better late than never.
That is Jessica from Melbourne. Hey, Jessica, how you doing?
How are you hello? Are you good? Good?
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Good?
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Is it flooding where you're at? Are are you okay?
You know?
Speaker 4 (11:32):
I am okay?
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Thank you good? Okay? All right, I got a trivia
question for you now. I'm not gonna tell you the
magazine because that'll get people will cheat, So I'm telling
you it's a major magazine did the twenty five best
horror Villains of all time? So I got twenty five
of them. But who do you? Who do you think
came in number one? Major magazine did? This just came
out and it's the twenty five best horror Villains of
(11:57):
all time? Who is number one?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Let's go with the eminem It's Michael Myers.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Michael Myers, which I like, and I would have said
I would have put him up there myself, but he
came in fifth place, so you're close. But no, cigar,
who do you want to help you? You've got Angel
and you've got Ryan.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
I'm gonna have to go with Ryan Ryan Holmes.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Twenty five best Horror Villains of all time? This just
came out this week, major magazine. Who do you think?
Came in a major publication? Major publication had a major award.
I'm just trying to do the riff off of the
Christmas Story major award.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
Uh Okay, are we talking like specific monsters or like
because she said Michael Myers?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
But could it be just like twenty five best horror
Villains of all time? How many person horror? How many
questions does Ryan get to ask you.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Yeah, I know I was asking because it could have
been like they don't are recounting like a werewolf.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
They don't ask is it like do you think a
werewolf is a horror villain? Horror horror? Right? But like
what do I have to do?
Speaker 3 (13:07):
What I'm asking you is do I have to say
like the werewolf from American Werewolf in Paris?
Speaker 4 (13:11):
You do not?
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Or London? Actually you do not. Then I'm gonna go
to vampire. But you got to give me a name.
I'm asking you. It's a vampire. People have vampires.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Which vampire that's been portrayed in a cinematic movie? Would
you consider the most villainy vampire of all time?
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Of all time? I mean, you're knocking on the door
and you just gotta give me the main man God's sake. Yeah,
who is the damn king of them all? The Dracula?
It is Count Dracula. That's that's Uncleaned. It's a Dracula.
(13:57):
It's a Dracula. It's a Dracula. It's a vampires. Are
they always win? Is Count Dracula is the answer? That
is number one. Draculas are there.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
But first of all, there's pins of vampires there's there's
the there's the Twilight gay vampires that everybody loves, the
sparkly everyone like a vampire, everybody loves him. But there's
regular Dracula, slick back hair. Where's that weird little amulet thing?
Stoker's Dracula, Castlevania Dracula.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
The same, different the count Draculas are.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Not All Draculas are vampires, but not all vampires are dracted.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
And you're accurate about That's why I didn't. And the
vampire that uh Tom Cruise played, yeah he wasn't. Was
he was a vampire? Related to the interview with the vampire,
Yeah he was. This was all Entertainment Weekly came out
with it this week, and uh yeah, you got it
right off. It's a count Dracula was number one, just in.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
General though just like the generic count others number one,
Like they didn't they didn't put.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
It like a movie or they didn't say nothing like,
it's just count Dracula number one. Who do you think?
Who would you say? Was number two? And you'll never
get it, but number two. When it comes to the
twenty five best horror Villains of all.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
As I said, I would have gone kind of like
where Jessica was going, so I was gonna. I would
have said Candy Man or Freddy Krueger. Candy Man was
in sixth place, so that's pretty good. I was going
with one of those guys.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Freddy Krueger is in eighth place. There you go, Ryan
taking guess where anything is? In second the girl in
the Exorcist? What is it? The devil is the devil?
Speaker 4 (15:36):
On there?
Speaker 1 (15:37):
The devil did not appear? How's the devil not appear
in the top twenty? What devil not appearing? Double's pissed off?
Right now? Yeah? In second place? Second or third place? Frankenstein.
Frankenstein is in third place. Frank Sin's and I saw
(15:59):
this week on CBS Sunday Morning, Uh, Daisy's uncle Uh.
And I can never say his first name? Is it
Gremo del Toro, Germo del Toro. They did an interview
with him, interview him this, Well, I'll have it. I'll know,
I'll say it by the time we talked to her.
But the new Frankenstein movie actually is out in theaters
(16:21):
now limited release. But it's gonna be uh November the
fourth or fifth or something like that. It'll be. It
will be on Netflix and they were showing parts of it,
and man, he is ate up with Frankenstein, like like
he has his whole house is He's like, I was
made for this movie. If I don't do any other movie,
(16:41):
this was the movie I've always wanted to do.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Uh, and this is a horror film aficionado or that
kind of sign is is his is his jam? Yeah,
and it looks really good. Obviously there's no soaker here.
But he also did it tequila as well.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Yeah, he did.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
And then his there was a couple special editions of
his tequila that come in like a like a Frankenstein
case kind of thing. He's all a couple of Yeah,
he's got done a couple of those.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
They showed his house and he's got a Frankenstein room
in his house with the Brian of Frankenstein and the
original Frankenston. He's all and he went through all of
his movies and in every movie he's got about Frankenstein,
like he is ate up with Frankenstein and this is
Daisy's you know uncle. And Uh, it was really a
(17:27):
cool interview. I'm excited to see the movie. I've always
been for whatever reason, I have all the horror movie
things I've always loved Frankenstein for also a.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Big Toronto Blue Jays fan, is he Yeah, that's another
thing I like when the guys like this. He's so
accomplished and he's like, you know what, I else shall
love Frankenstein and the Blue Jay.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Well, yeah, that was in third place. In second place
is Hannibal Lecter. Oh that's like of all time villains.
Is he's higher than a were wolf? And this is
Entertainment Weekly, this is what they said. Yeah, he's higher
than a werewolf. Is in fourth place. We talked about
this a little a little while ago, because it's based
on a real person. No, Norman Bates from Psycho and
(18:08):
then uh, and then you got Michael Myers, which is
what Jessica said. That's not a bad guest. Candy Man
is what Angel said. Ghosts Faced from Scream, Now that's
ridiculous that ghost Face from Scream is above Freddy Krueger time,
I think made a ton of money. It's not that
good of us. It's not it's not better, not scarier
than Freddy Krueger. Yeah, because he just ended up being
(18:30):
one of the guys. Yeah, it was a stupid mask. Yeah,
because he's real that's what makes him scarier. I disagree
on that. Freddy Krueger was in eighth place. Godzilla was
in ninth Godzilla like a hero sometimes. Yeah, that's a one. Yeah. Yeah.
Entertainment Weekly, No, and then in tenth place penny Wise
from the IT franchise, and you know, I just okay, so, uh,
(18:54):
the IT Franchise. Last night at eight o'clock on HBO Max,
I think it is they have this new series. It's It.
I think Dreary Lane. Is that what it is? Dreary Lane,
Dairy Lane, Dry Lane? Okay, and so you know Mary
All wanted to watch that. I'm like, okay, well, I
don't really remember the last IT. Welcome to Darry, that's
what Welcome to Darry. Yeah, okay, I don't remember the
(19:16):
last IT movie. So you know, it's raining outside hell.
You know, I already watched football. You know, I was
in a good mood. So uh, I'm like, let's watch
the last IT movie. I didn't like it. And look, uh,
penny Wise is scary. I didn't really like that movie
that much, did you.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
I don't know if it's clowns, so I don't uh,
I don't want to make clown scary to me.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
You know, like, I've never seen an IT movie. Oh,
you haven't seen anything. No, I haven't seen it. Movie.
First one was good.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
You know, that's Scars Guard. He's a he's a great actor.
Love him and everything else. Don't need to see it.
I don't know what it is about clown movies. I'm
not afraid of clown's s. Don't want to see him.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Uh, Jason, for he is Kayler clowns from outer space?
Now there have you seen that? Now that's a winner.
That a winner, like it's a very fun movie. Jason
Voorhees came in eleventh place from Fighting the thirteenth Carrie
from the movie Carrie Carrie. Yeah, Carrie's higher than a
wolf man. It makes no sense. Rights, that's fat.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Bruce from Jaws. Carrie's just a school shooter, I know,
like not even scary. Yeah, wait, Bruce the Shark from
John came in thirteenth place.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Then in fourteenth place, they've got the Invisible Man. The
Invisible Man is not what are they doing here? I
know it's not scary? Pinhead in fifteenth place.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Now he's scary, Well he's yeah, I mean he's he's
a scary like sex demon. Oh if you want, you
don't add scary to my sex.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Okay, you were right about this one, Ryan, I just
didn't see it. Reagan from The Exorcist, Okay, yeah, yeah,
she's full on the devil. Yeah. The Phantom's her name? Reagan?
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Yeah, really is her name? Yeah, her name is Today Old.
I didn't know that was her name in the movie.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Reagan. Yeah, the phantom from the Floor of the Opera.
I mean he bothered one person. Yeah, yeah, nobody. You're
just getting after one person the top any from Misery,
No one again, one person she's bothering, making them change
a book. Ringo Ringo from The Ring Who Ringo is
(21:22):
the Beatles? And then in twentieth Place is the wolf Man.
Now twentieth is the wolf Man. That's ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Isn't honestly a wolfman scarier than a vampire to me?
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Because the wolf, the wolf has no control.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Once the person change, you can kind of like, at
least mildly reason with a Dracula.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
I've always been team wolf man too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
If I if I have to go up against a
Dracula or a wolf man, I'm going Dracula. I would
rather go up against the Dracula Racula get you can
use crosses, you can use the steak on him. He's
got a week to sunlight. You could. Oh, he's only
a problem half the day. The Wolfman during the during
the full moove, come at you like a raising Bannables.
It's crazy, and you gotta shoot him with a silver bullet.
(22:04):
Regular ammunition is already so expected. You gotta go find
a lone ranger, get a silver bullet, and that's gonna
be hard. Yeah, I'm with you on that. And just
Johnny Depp shows up in Red Face Crazy in twenty
first place. Jake saw Now, jakesaw was scary, like that
would should be up there a little bit further. Leather
Face is next. Babba Duke, bab Baba Duke, The Baba
(22:28):
Duke Duke. That's a scary movie. That's I thought that
came out like Lucy's Husband.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
No, No, The Baba Duke is like this like indie
film that came out like ten years ago, and it's
it's it's pretty.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Creepy, right. What's your favorite werewolf movie? My favorite?
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Well, I really like those movies with where they fight
the vampires. Uh, not the Twilight one, the hardcore version
of that what is it called under Oh?
Speaker 1 (22:56):
The like the Lichens and the yeah, Underworld, Underworld, I
love UNDERWORLF. Okay, but but okay, I'm with you. I
like that series.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
But that's that's that's like that's werewolves and and and vampires, right,
so I get it. But just stand alone were a
wolf movie? Russell, would you say is your favorite or
you are the best one that you can think of? God,
And they don't have to be it doesn't have to
be the same.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
The only one I'm thinking of is Werewolf in London,
American Werewolf in'munder Yeah, yeah, that's all I can think of.
In twenty fourth place is mister Hyde, Doctor Jekyll and
Mister Hyde, which was based off a real guy that
had split personality. Who was the actor in that? I
forget it was. That's from like nineteen thirty one. Oh okay,
that's million years ago. I thought we did that. I'm sorry.
(23:42):
And then in twenty fifth place is Gilman. Do you
know who Gilman is? He's the janitor here. He's uh.
I went to his bar Mitzvah when I was thirteen. Gilman,
Jeff Gilman. No, No, that's that's guild Man. That's the
name of the creature from the creature from the Black Lego.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
That made the top twenty five. Yeah, from that's like
the Aquaman of villains. Like, as long as I don't
go near the water, I'm fine.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
He's pretty scary looking, though he's not that.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
I always thought it was weird they included him with
everybody else in the because the Mummy was scary, Wolf, scary,
Dracula scary.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
No money in this. Then gil Man shows up. Yeah
you know there's no Mummy in this. Oh there's no Mummy. Yeah,
I'm scary.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Yeah, Mummy walks because the Mummy comes with the curse also,
so like he walks still like a zombie but also curses.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
He never scared me either, only could though I mean
only somewhat decent portrayal of the Mummy was the movie
The Mummy with the Rock in it.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
That was Yeah, when the mummies could actually run fast, yeah,
then we get after it something. Then when they walked slow,
it's like, right, were you seeing ginger snaps? So you
apparently so.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
According to a Paste magazine, the number one or the
best were wolf were wolf movie was American were Wolf
in London. No, that's from nineteen eighty one. Iteteen eighty
teen Wolf movie Gender Snaps. I liked you Wolf, but like,
I mean, it's it's comical, it's cute, it's sweet, it's
after school special.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
Yeah, American Werewolf in Paris slash London are the best
werewolf movies for sure.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
I just got turned onto something. If you get a second,
pull up the images for a movie called Dog Soldiers
that came out in two thousand and two. I don't
know where I was at. I don't know why I
missed this, but just from the images alone, I think
I want to check this out.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
As a kid, I think the only werewolf movie I
saw the original Werewolf, like from the thirties or whatever,
and it was an Abbot and Costello meet Day Werewolf.
I remember seeing that one as a kid.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
I mean, yeah, my favorite was still to I mean,
it's and again, you could put this one in the
same way that you would would put teen Wolf is
a silver bullet.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Oh right, man, right? Someone said no, Jigsaw, Yeah, Jigsaw
was on there. Jigsaw was in twenty first place, which
is ridiculous because.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
I don't know, you know, it was pretty good and
a lot of people didn't like it as far as
you can is like a Marvel thing. But like, did
you guys ever get to watch The Werewolf at Night?
The Marvel one that was on the streaming service.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
It was in black and white. I did like that.
It was good. Why how come they didn't get much?
But we were marveled out by that time? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
that one was actually really good.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Yeah, you know, and Angel brought like, I'm like a werewolf.
The concept of werewolf very scary. But it's hard to
pull off the werewolf and make it terrifying.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Yeah, yeah, because.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
It always comes off a bit too cheesy. It's either
and if you do it practically, it always looks weird.
Cgi they haven't really gotten a good werewolf yet.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
It goes over the top.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, quickly. The werewolf is best when you don't see it.
It's like one of those things. Yeah, Like it's scarier
where it's in the bushes.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
You want to holler at Jessica. Yeah, let's talk to Jessica.
She's a winner. Congratulations, Jessica, you are a winner today.
What prize do you want to take with you?
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Jessica, I think I'm gonna have to do Monster Jam
pickets you are.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Yeah, have you ever been? That's scary? I have been. Yeah,
you're gonna love it. Yeah, it's a lot of fun.
I didn't realize it was in January this year. That's cool.
How long you've been listening to the show, Jessica?
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Oh long before the war, long before.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Long, long time. Well, thank you. I appreciate that. That
is great to hear. What do you do for a living.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Right now? Doing a lot of home care with patients
and stuff like that, Just helping patients.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
From home.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Yeah, that takes a lot of empathy, a lot of love.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
You know.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
We can't thank you enough for what you do because
not everybody has the temper to do that, you know,
thank you.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
And sometimes I don't as well, you know, just a
lot of compartmentalizing.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Yeah, and what would you like to plug and promote
and tell us about?
Speaker 4 (27:42):
So you know, I was thinking about giving a shout
out to the amazing customer service team over at Sunnyside
air Conditioning.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Okay, oh yeah, hell yeah, it's that one British lady
people they keep going back to Sunday said, I don't
know why.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
I don't know why they do it.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
It's her charm. She's just she's she's got, she's got swagged.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Well, you're the first person to like that lady, because
that lady actually drives me up a wall.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
These people hate that commercy. All right, Jessica, listen, thank
you for listening. As long as you've been listening. We'll
put you on hold so Angel can hook you up
with with your prize. And are you doing anything special
for Halloween?
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Definitely, got a couple of boys I'm taking trick or treating.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Oh, that's good, that'll be fun. Old how old are
the kids?
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Twelve?
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Okay, there you go, So there you got my way?
When when is it? To twelve? Is not too old?
They're perfect, That's that's good. But by fifteen it's uh,
they're they're almost too old?
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Right, Yeah, but you know, even I have an older
daughter and she's older and she's still trigger treating. She's
still going strong. She's keeping the trigger treating tradition alive
in my family.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
What are the kids going as for trigger treaty? What's yeah?
For like a boy?
Speaker 4 (29:06):
So it's really funny because my kids are things that
they have never even seen. So my one boy is Jason, Jason,
He's got the whole Jason Mass He's got a whole
fake plastic machete. He's got the whole nine in the yards.
And then the other one is doctor Doom. What what
is the doctor Doom?
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Doctor? He'll go you hear the kids, what does the
doctor Doom? He goes up against the Fantastic four doctor Jones.
That's a good one.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Oh okay, yes, yes, the doom.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Full of little doom, tiny Doom. So you're you're taking
them to school now?
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yes, yes, we're on the way to school right now.
And they are so proud of mom winning tickets to
go see some Mantterhams benefactor.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
We have we have learned that they will never forget
this moment, which is crazy. We meet all these listeners
or like you guys, like, oh listened when I was
a kid and I remember winning something, so uh tell
them thanks for listening to and uh and you have
a great Halloween.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
Okay, thank you so much, love you guys all.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Hold on a second, I'm going toward let's go hold on,

but you the listeners, you guys decide who the winner is.
Uh and uh it's the voting starts tomorrow real radio

be a click through for both of them, you know,
Real radio dot FM, Monsters dot f them. And here
are your nominees. Starting tomorrow, you can vote. They'll have
(31:32):
three days of voting and we'll announce the winner on Friday.
On on Halloween. So we've got Don l Rawlings, we
got Billy Gardell, Nick Schwartzen, TJ Miller, Guy Tory, Teal Piper,
and Christy Martin are all have all been nominated this year.
All had great appearances, all were really really really good,
(31:52):
and every every everybody on the show was able to
nominate somebody, and you guys will decide who the winner is.
I was looking on and there's ah, it's not it's
it's not one hundred percent for anybody. Like there are
a lot of people that have different opinions on who
they think should be, uh should be on the Monster
Guest Hall of Fame. So you guys will decide the
winter by voting. You'll have a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(32:15):
to vote for that. I'm looking on our texting service,
by the way, another way to communicate with us, UH
texting service seven seven zero three one. People still waking
up to a lot of flooding. This guy here says
that see he went out seven o'clock last night to
see a meteor shower. Uh, there was a there was
a comment last week that that you know, they say
(32:37):
this comment is coming. Uh. Last time the comment, this comment,
you could view this comment from from Earth like dinosaurs
were here.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
And it'll be another like two thousand years before it
comes back, and I'm I'm laying in bed and Marielle
is like, hey, the comment's out there, you want to
go see it? And I'm like, eh, I don't know.
I didn't feel like getting up. But you're not gonna
be able to see it for another two thousand years, eh?
I mean, how many comments and uh and meteor showers
(33:06):
are there that we miss? Like a lot of them,
right every day? Every day?
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know. But this person said
they absolutely loved seeing it last night, which is cool.
I didn't know there was a meteor shower last night,
but I guess there was. Do you get out to
watch those? No? No, you know it's better than comets
laying in Netflix chilling. Yeah, I don't know. I think
(33:30):
I missed the Hayleys comment one.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
I remember that I'm going to see until twenty sixty one,
So that's about That's the only one I care about.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Yeah, what I know, like, like it's another two thousand years, Like, well,
obviously I'll never I didn't miss it last time, I'm
not gonna miss it this time. Oh something else this week?
Daylight savings time? Is it daylight Saving time? Yeah, you're
no s right, daylight savings saving Yeah, put the ass
on because people freak out. Is this week? So it's
(33:59):
it's the night of November first, So Saturday night is
when you go. Let's see fall back, go forward, fall back,
so we'll fall back, we go back an hour, then
spring forward, fall back, so we go back an hour
this Saturday night. Okay, so be prepared for that if
you This is something that I thought. I thought the
(34:21):
president was going to change that. That was one of
the things I was like, Okay, I'm team president for this.
I thought he was going to change that and get
rid of daylight saving time.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
No Democrats, I love it. Yeah, I would love to
get rid of it. It's shown so badly how it's
bad for our health. But like, if you're a night worker,
I don't know this right. If you were doing an
overnight shift and you're hourly and the number changes from
two to one and you're working an eight hour shift,
are you working a nine hour shift that night?
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Hmmm?
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Night people text in let me know you're just going
to bed right now. I need to know this thing
because that seems like for me it was always a gain, right,
Like it's like when I was young.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
I'm at the bar.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Bar closes it too normally, except on this night, get
one extra hour in.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Uh. I remember, I always remember, just because I instagram
to the bars, right, so you get an extra hour
in the bar.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
He wasn't listening to a word that I said. You
repeated the exact thing. I just said, Oh, you said working, No,
I said going to bars.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
No. I think he said working, No, go into bars,
and like, you get that extra hour, and then you
repeated it. And I'm like, this is what he feels
like with me all the time. No. I think you
said are you working an extra hour? Before? I said
two things? Oh okay, I was listening to that part.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
I'm still processing the first thing that he said. Um, yeah, man,
I you can just stop it.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Just just stop it.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
I want to be in Arizona. I want to be
a Hawaii where they just went, nah, fam, we're not
doing this.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
There's a whole article here by the Stanford University saying
that it would be healthier for the public if we
would just stop. They are not farmers, dumb to dumb
dumb dumb dumb dumb. Okay, like with this, we live
a life.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
Just keep it the same it's weird going like the
only thing is like I went to the farmer's market,
had to still set up everything, right, Yeah, it was
dark as hell outside, and I'm like, damn, these kids
are going to school like this right now.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
Now here's what I don't know. I don't see why
it didn't go into the exactly why. But Stanford University
Research did a research about what would happen if we
got rid of daylight saving time, and it says here
to get rid of daylight savings a psychiatrists say permanent
standard time would cut obesity cases down by zero point
(36:30):
seventy eight zero point seven eight percent. That's a small amount,
preventing two point six million cases of obesity. Okay, well
two point six that's a lot. It would also have
strokecases drop by three hundred and seven thousand cases, This
big deal. Right.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
There's a maps if you can find it, so you
can see in its comparison of how many countries in
the world russ observe this, yeah, and how many countries
in the world old actually don't change time at all
and just stay with standard time, stay with standard time.
And when I saw that, it just completely changed changed
the perspective that I have on it in the sense
(37:11):
of why are we doing this, because it's like there's
way more countries and way more parts of the world
that don't do this.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
And I remember, I remember President Trump was going to
get rid of it, and if anyone could just do
it without any permission, it would be him. He just said, hey,
I just tell everybody we're not doing it anymore. I mean,
that's the guy that could pull this off. I know
he's busy doing other things, but he does have a
lot of things going on. He's got construction and all
kinds of stuff. But all he has to do is
(37:39):
walk into some room and say, from now on, at
standard time politics, So it shall be Chris that's always
got to do. Chris is going to be mad at us.
And I'm not sayingything bad about it. I'm just saying
with that, you know, that's one good thing that I'd
be on team Team Trump. Wow.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
So basically it's all of Eastern Europe and yeah, except
for Arizona.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Arizona Quebec said playing your stupid game time.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
The Yukon territories in Canada and they said no. But Alaska,
which is right next to it, does it Greenland. Maybe
that's why, but not all of Greenland. They apparently the
western coast of Greenland not so much.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Who would be upset if if if Donald Trump said tomorrow, listen,
this is it, we're going to standard time, we're staying there.
Who would be bad? I guess the farmers. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
I don't know who.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Still this is for farmers. Farmers. Farmers are already pissed
off ham other stuff, so yeah, yeah, they would be.
They don't have to farm soybeans anymore, so there you go. Yeah,
it should be happy. Yeah, get up a little later.
You don't have to worry about the cows or the soybeans.
So I didn't know this evening. I didn't know this
this weekgo at seven o'clock in the morning, it was
still dark. And that's weird because you know, we're getting
(38:53):
to that time when it's time to change. So it'll
be this week just.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Saying let's pick one, whatever the one, whatever the one
is the like, if we like the idea of our
kids that are at bus stops, not standing in the dark,
then let's let's go with that one.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
I can be swayed either way.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
There's a time where I was definitely like, no, I
just wanted to be this one time at this point
in my life.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Let's just pick one. Here's the thing. If it's dark
in the morning, it's more flashlight sales, you know that
cool little flashlights for the kids.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
The guy that like loves to love name things after
him and like make everything in gold. As the president,
that would be the ultimate move to control time. And
then you call it Trump time. Yeah, yeah, Trump time.
It's the only one time Trump daylight, Trump time. That's
a real thing.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
Like I'm like, if I was president, I would do
it like that.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
You have to understand, like, like the best thing you
can do is either get like a month or a
name or a day named after you, because.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
It just stays that way.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Yeah, Like you think about it, Like the Julian calendar,
the one that we use is named after a Roman
emperor named Julian.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
Yeah it was I think Justine and uh and so
we get you get that. So imagine that'd be like
it's some time. I would think that'd be an eat
of all the things he's just done without any permission.
This would be an easy one. Just walk in and say, hey,
I have now decided this is it. We don't need Congress,
We don't need now.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
You could change it to Donald savings time. You don't
even have to change the letters.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Dst Rid Holmes on your question earlier overstock overnight stock
and crew at bjays. It's a manager's just it's that
manager's discretion. They can get the extra hour and work
to normal time or work regular eight hours, but would
be time one hour before in the end before one
one hour before the normal time.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Yeah. Literally, that's the question I heard you ask. I
did not hear you bring up bars. I work.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Oh this is awesome. I work night audit at a
hotel and yes, we work an extra hour.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
And you get paid for it.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
Oh yeah, well, good on you. Also, BJ's Bjy's wholesale club.
I want you to know right now you can get
me as a customer.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
I'm gonna sign up. Have you heard the special running.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Since you know you should? You should join the monsters
advertise with us. You're building it right next to my house.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
They are right, they have you got a BJ's going
next to you house. Yeah, dude, this is we didn't
talk about it. We should have. It was the most Again,
not be smirching them.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
This is just my observation on the outside looking it,
it was one of the most insane builds I've ever seen.
So it's on the corner of seventeen ninety two and
four thirty six. There used to be an office mark there.
There used to be a seven eleven on the corner. Right.
You never see seven elevens giving up their spots, right,
They wiped out that seven eleven. They wiped out almost
the entirety of it was an office mart. It was
(41:43):
a couple other things there, all for and well. But
they left a tiny little liquor store there because the
guy who owns the Looker shout out to Seaberry Liquors.
He wouldn't sell and so they built this giant, giant
building around this. They left like the old school liquor
store there.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
It's like, he ain't going on. Yeah, it's insane. Yeah,
he's not gonna do daylight saving time either. Ain't doing it.
All right, take a break. When come back, it's time
for Monster Sports. Don't go anywhere you're listening to the
Monster in the morning.
