Speaker 1 (00:00):
Morning. Everybody is d J Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the
guy we are the breakfast club? Is time for asking? Yee? Hello?
Who's this? Yeah? You're speaking with William? What's it out
of Furthood Texas? What's up? Bro? What's your question for you? Yes?
My question is me and my girl been each other
for two years, and about five months ago she started to,

(00:22):
you know, not really be too intimate with me. Um,
you know, we haven't done it in bed and about
a month. Um, she's always leaving, you know, suspiciously. So
I don't know if she's cheating on me or not.
And I'm getting very nervous because I really want to
marry this girl. What do I do? So? What are
some other reasons that you think she's cheating? Because your

(00:43):
mind wouldn't automatically jump to that just because she's not
being as intimate with you. Well, Angelo, I asked her
for her phone, you know, and I've tried to like
check her phone, and she doesn't want to give your phone,
you know. She says we're supposed to trust each other
in a relationship. She hits me with that, you know.
So it's just like I don't know what to do
you know, I don't know if I should marry this
girl because you know, we've been together for two years.

(01:05):
You know, it's just like, man, I don't know if
this is the one because you know, I feel like
she's cheating. You know, she comes home from work late
to you know, I don't know if I'm crazy or what.
You know, But right, advice, angel help, I'll tell you
this right now. You're not gonna get married, so that
shouldn't be on the table right now. You have to
repair on what's going on in your relationship before you

(01:27):
even consider that. And so let's take a step by step. A.
You don't want to be with somebody who you have
to ask them for their phone. I always think that's
not a good sign if I'm asking you for your phone,
because now she knows that you don't trust her, and
the fact that you have to feel that way isn't good.
You said, she's coming home late from work. She's giving
you these indications. And then you guys, also aren't intimate,

(01:48):
So the relationship has changed. You know there's something going on,
you just don't know what it is. Okay, Okay, all right, bro,
Well good luck man, and and and and keep a
sup breast to what's going on? Right all right? Asking
ye five five one on five one. If you need
relationship advice and any type of advice, call ye. Now

and he was like, in order for him to have
a great night sleep, he will have to you know,

(02:30):

every night, so they're like some nights whenever I don't
want to, he'll see, like trying to masturbate so you
can have a great night sleep. Do guys do that?
I will say, guys definitely sleep better after they release,
So that's for sure. It feels like for him that's

(02:51):
how he can really, uh be nice and calm and
get to sleep. Do you have a problem with him masturbating? No,
I don't have a problem living that out, but you know,
like real night. But like Grace, I was just saying, well, girl,
just be glad you don't have the opposite problem, okay,
where you're not having sex at all. You're right, you're right, right,
we never he's only each other, so all right, So

(03:14):
it doesn't sound like a major thing. He wants to sleep, well,
he just has to get one off. Yeah, you're right,
that's not a problem. That's very normal. By the way.
You know, on Sunday nights, my anxiety kicks in really bad.
It's hard for me to sleep, you know, And I'll
do my meditation and I'll toss in turn and you know, yeah,
that does help relax. You sound sounds like it's not

(03:37):
an issue. He's at home, he's with you. Yeah, so
just let him masturbate when you don't feel like it.
I guess that, yeah, doesn't it doesn't help you. Yeah,
but some something like when I don't want to do
I get facial. Well, as long as you don't mind that,
you don't know what the stop that, you'll know what

(03:58):
that is. He's really is. Well, I hope he's having
sex with you because he's enjoyed. He enjoyed it, not
just because you're a sleep that puts you to sleep too.
I mean, like, yeah, put me to sleep, but you
know like you know, we don't do I sep so
facial put you to sleep? No, sacially, don't put me
to sleep. I'm saying like if we don't, if I

(04:18):
don't want to health sake, and he want to mass
it back, I just tell him, like, you know, just
come on, like just put on my face you all right,
he likes that just the same. Just thankes. You're telling
them watch the eyes, Okay, don't get it in your eye.
Sounds like you don't care about the eyes. All right, Yeah,

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
