one of the great rivalries and allof the state of Wisconsin. Right
there between those two schools over onthe western edge of Wisconsin, Menominee and
Shai High. They're playing their onehundred and eleventh meeting between those two high
schools tonight, Menominee at three andOld shi High at one and two and
oak Clair North the surprise team inthe Big Rivers two and one up at
Superior and oh and three team.Could Oak Claire North go to three and

one for the first time in aboutwhat four different presidents and since back when
I don't know, Brian Boitano waswinning gold medals somewhere in there, it's
been a while since North has beenthree and one, but they'll be looking
for that mark as well. Butwe've got new Richmond versus morning. We're

numbers, black helmets with the tigeron the side, black pants as well.

get big chunk plays all the time. Certainly is now New Richmond comes out.
Reese Hiddy is the man at quarterbackagain. They've got a couple of
guys they can play there, butit'll spread it out. Two receivers left,

and Miles Burke who goes right upthe gut for about three tackled on the
play by let's see. I thinkit was Gus Schumus who actually made that

Park tonight. Once again Hiddy isin the shotgun. He will keep it
himself. He's got a big holeup the middle on the read option,
gets across the twenty five, spinsdown up near the first down marker and

yard game when he needed eight,and it's a first down here for the
Tigers. Good decision there by Hiddi. He had the open lane, there

was a party in the offensive line. He took it forward and he got
the first own. He'll come backout now again with Burke to his right
behind him in a real tight pistolformation. Two receivers right, two little

go in the first quarter. Again, another handoff here to Burke. Burke
will run out right side and heis tackled in the backfield by a man.

And we called a lot last week. Luke Johnson up on that defensive
line. He's the guy to watchfor memorial. He can shoot the gap
and you can see no the speedthat Johnson has. He's a real solid
player. Absolutely Johnson is right wherehe needs to be on that play,
and that's why he made the stop. He's got that defensive line mentality.
But you could also see him play, especially at the next level. Maybe

that linebacker spot again can really movearound the field. I'll fake the handoff
here, we'll hit you roll tohis left. The flag on the play,
they're gonna go deep downfield. They'vegot a man open, caught at
the thirty five, down to thethirty trying to break a tackle, and
he does. Downfield he goes andthat is a chance to go to the
races there as he gets into thetwenty yard line and inside to about the
nineteen yard line. Beautiful pass downfield, but a flag on the play,

and we'll see if this one iscoming back. Catch made by Luke
efforts and they're looking over I believein the memorial sideline. I'm assuming they're
gonna take this. A legal formationis going to be the call here,
So probably not enough guys on theline of scrimmage, and boy, what
a that's just a mental mistake there. That where race is a big time

junk play for New Richmond. Absolutelyanytime you have a play like that and
then you have to march all thatway back. It gets in your head
a little bit. You gotta watchfor the mental toughness here for New Richmond
to see if they can come backand put together either another big play or
a few smaller players to make upthat yard. So from second and seven

to second and twelve, and whatwould have been, I mean looking at
over a fifth problem a fifty fivefifty six yard gain depending on where that
spot was going to be about afifty yard gainer. So that's going to
be a race from the score books. So with eight twenty one left to
go here in the first quarter,no score. Now second and twelve for
New Richmond all the way back totheir own twenty six yard line. They'll

stack two receivers right to then goout to the left and more of a
traditional formation. Some one of thosereceivers in motion fake the end around to
him. It's going to be akeeper here for Hitty, and he's got
some space out across the thirty fiveand he's up near the first down marker.
They'll take him down at the forty. It's a fourteen yard gain,
A big game there in the firstown. Absolutely you can see why New
Richmond likes Hitty so much. Heis a guy who gives you so many

different looks at quarterback. Of course, he can throw the ball. What
we just saw there, he runsit really well and he picks up the
first out. Two receivers go left, one out to the right. The
handoff in the backfield here is upacross for Joe Hepner the forty five five
yard line. He'll get to theforty seven yard line and here's that change
up. It's what a luxury itis to have, Noah, when you
get two running backs, you cankind of, you know, put in

there as a battery and basically,you know, give some give another guy
a little bit of rest there toput Hepner in the game. Absolutely,
and that's something you see really wellat all levels of football. You think,
to the Green Bay Packers, AaronJones at AJ Dillon, great one
two punch there. I'll fake thehandoff here to Hepner and now running out
a little shovel pass caught at thefifty to the forty five and across the

forty up near the thirty nine yardline. Beautiful, a little shovel pass
out there to George Schroeder and he'llget into Memorial territory. Big gain there
of about seventeen yards in a firstdown. Absolutely, it's really neat to
see how New Richmond is coming outof that off play and they're making it
back like nobody's business. And yousee they've got a lot of wrinkles to

it, right, I mean,it's a read option and it's all those
things really an RPO. Right,they can go and pass out of it
as well. Schroeder goes in motionleft to right far hash mark. They
will fake the give hit, hewill try to run with it. Memorial
had it wrapped up, and nowhe counters out of it to the thirty
to the far sideline between the numbersand the sideline there near the twenty five
yard line. He goes finally caughtnear the twenty six. Another fourteen yard

game and New Richmond with the chunkplays right now and is starting to cut
apart this old abe defense. NewRichmond is working quickly here. It looks
like they've got somewhat of a nohuddle offense set, but hiddy as a
runner, he looked dead to rightsbehind the line of scrimmage for a good
chunk of that plane. He wasable to turn it up for fourteen yards.

Oh could you call you know Bluebold'sgames. Noah, this this has
kind of a college field to theoffense. Right, you mentioned the no
huddle look to the sideline. There'sa jump off side in high school football.
They just blow that dead. That'llbe five yards up against Memorial,
and so looking at a first andfive now here for New Richmond, I
do believe and that is the case. Six thirty three left to go,

first quarter, no score between NewRichmond Memorial. But it does have kind
of a little bit of that collegefield in it to in the way that
they look to the sideline, anda very kind of flowing offense in that
sense. Absolutely, they work quick, they work with a lot of poise.
They know exactly what they're doing andthey execute it well. So Hitty
goes in the shotgun again. Tworeceivers to the right, one to the
left handoff right up the gut,and the speed turned on there up across

the fifteen yard line by Ethan Panic, the junior running back. So the
fifteen that will be about a sixyard gain and they will move the chains
after a first and five there,so a number of first downs you mentioned
field position, but they've really flippedthat, haven't they From their own seventeen
yard line. They're looking for aneighty three yard touchdown drive and they're getting
close. It's a long way togo, but they don't even look like

they're breaking a sweat out there.And everybody with those wrist bands as well.
They check the play that's called infrom the sideline toes New Richmond stack.
Two receivers left, went out tothe right tight end, offset right
ball in the middle of hash marks. They will give it again right up
the gut here to panic who bouncesout to the left and cuts at the
ten. There's a flag coming inlate on the play, and this one
could be coming back about a fiveyard game, but it looks like it's

in the area of holding, andsure enough it is. And so the
first time that New Richmond's really madea big mistake on this defensive series again,
outside of that illegal formation we sawearlier, absolutely, but the way
that their offense has been churning,it's been like a machine. Everybody knows
exactly what they're doing. They're runningthe ball a lot, but it's not

like a ground and pound thing.It's exciting, it's fast, it's a
lot of fun to watch. Whenyou saw it again, Ethan Panic come
in. I mean, it's basicallya third running back option now that you've
had and Panic hasn't run a toncoming into this game. That holding penalty
will mark them back, I believefrom the previous spot. Of course,
that was an old rule in highschool where they'd mark it from the spot

of the foul regardless of where itwas, even if it was behind the
line of scrimmage, which thank godthey've changed that rule. And we'll get
off my soapbox there. But thenone at least gets caught up with the
twenty first century as we go tofirst and twenty here for New Richmond back
now at the twenty five up Memorial, still no score here in the first
quarter, rolling out is heating tothe left, and that ball is tipped
and almost intercept right up on theline. Making a great play on the

ball was lake Onoman, and boy, he almost picked that off from that
linebacker kind of offset defensive line positionand could have had a chance to take
it back absolutely Oniman noticed that Hiddywas rolling out to his left. That's
not a strong side for a quarterbackto roll out to a lot of times
you get an off balance offset throw, which is not where the quarterback wants

it. It's easier to get ahand on it. Someone once tried to
explain to me that that's a betterway for right hand and quarterbacks to roll
out, and I've never understood that. I'm with you on that rolling too,
your right when your right hand itseems to make a little more sense
to me. Handoff will be givenup the middle here in a decent gain
out across at twenty to about theeighteen yard line. Again for Ethan panic
on the play, or was itBurkey back in the game. It was

Burkie back in the game, Sominels Burkey making the run. It'll be
third and about fourteen now here forNew Richmond. I think this is gonna
be a huge third down here inthis game, third and long. But
you're in enemy territory if you're NewRichmond. Oh Claire Memorial needs to stop
New Richmond needs a first down.This has eating up some clock clock two

about five minutes already on this drive. Two receivers left, two to the
right, third and fourteen, andhe's gonna run with it here isid.
He he's across the fifteen looking forblockers across the ted. He's still up
on his feet and he's closed tothe first down marker. It looked like
he'd be stopped about what's six sevenyards short, but he just kind of
hurdled a defender at the ten andhe gets to the seven. And now
it's an interesting decision here for NewRichmond. You got fourth and a little

longer than one. They may gofor it here. I think they will.
It looks like that's what they're doing. I like this call. I
like the aggressive play calling and theanalytics based football. The math says,
go for it. I don't knowwhat your stomach says. Mine's a little
uneasy about it, but I trustthe number. There's another feline team last
night who went for it on apunt, a fake punt on their own

what seventeen yard line last night tendingto work out well. Hit He's gonna
roll out to his left, lookingdown field of the end zone. It
is up and it is incomplete.He tried for it all And how about
that memorial turns back New Richmond downnear the goal line on fourth and two
from the seven, they go forit all there to the end zone.
And how about that Memorial stayed athome and did a nice job covering.

Absolutely, that was a huge playfor the Memorial defense. They'd been on
that field for quite some time andlong drives like that really take it out
of you. But they were ableto get a stop. Keep the scoreboard
at goose eggs here in this one. That's a win for Memorial on that
drive. Yeah, it really is. Is now Memorial will come out for

their second drive that went ending atthe four fifteen mark here and a turnover
on down, so they start outat their own seven yard line. Do
the old ames Riley Holmberg and company. Two receivers to the left, one
of the rights, sends a manin motion from left to right across the
formation, fakes a handoff. Alittle slant route caught across the ten up
across the fifteen to about the sixteenyard line. That's stay Ferguson. They'll

be about a yard short of thefirst album. Nice little slant routes to
start things out. Absolutely, that'severybody's favorite. Playing Madden, it looked
a little bit like a stick concepthaving that slant come right across the middle
about five yards deep, really easyto hit, really easy to get yards
on. That's why they called it. Now a long drive for New Richmond
ending near the goal line at leastin the red zone of Old Claire Memorial.

And now they try to start itoff again the other ways Homeberg will
give it on the handoff. HereSimmons trying to bounce it out on the
right. I think he's got enoughfor the first down up near the nineteen
yard line. Didn't get a ton, They contained it pretty well, but
he only needed one and a threeyard game. He'll give him a first
down. And you can see theenergy that this Old Claire Memorial offense has
come out of the gate with hereon this drive almost looks like a different

offense compared to what we saw momentumin this game. Certainly swinging here in
the first quarter, big cheer forthe first down, and they were practicing
the first down cheer before the gameof the old Age student section. It's
jersey night. It looks like overfor them, as they've busted out all
the MLB, NFL and a coupleof honest jerseys as well as here's a
swing out to the left, anotherslant route that ball tipped and almost intercepted.

New Richmond couldn't react to it.That one wasn't a great throw.
Ferguson got his hands on it,though at about the twenty five, couldn't
hold on. It was thrown alittle bit behind him, drops to the
turf in complete. Second and ten. Yeah, it looked to be almost
towards that far shoulder pad of Ferguson. Certainly one that he could have held
in, but not an easy onewhen your momentum is taking you away from

the ball. And again New Richmondjust unable to kind of pounce on the
ball that was floating to the turfso teasingly. Basically there as they go.

to Simmons. They'll get a coupleup near the twenty two. Was tripped

good job of dealing with that snapwas a little bit errant and still making

this is the second drive a gamefor the Old Abs. Both teams unable
to get anything out of their firstdrive. Moreal went turnover on downs our
apartment three and out rather punting itaway, and then a turnover on downs
for New Richmond. On their firstdrive, two receivers left one of the
right. Two men go in motion. They'll both have to reset Simmons out
of the backfield. So empty backfieldnow here for Homeburg. As he sends

another man in motion, look atthe back judge. He's counting down that
play clock. They're going to swingit out of the backfield out on the
left side of Julius Clark, andhe is wrapped up for a minimal game,
probably a loss in fact, ashe's wrapped up at the twenty falls
up to the twenty one, they'llbe a loss of one fourth and eight
and Memorial once again it's gonna haveto punt. Absolutely. The drive looked
like it was starting well, justkind of stalled there for the Old Ames,

and now they'll have to rely ontheir defense again, you see that
now in the high school game andtrying to kind of confuse a defense with
all that pre snap motion. Butnothing confused there for New Richmond. They
stay at home and did a goodjob containing that little swing pass. As
back out to punt here for Memorialwill be Vincent Mullen, and he will
punt it from about his own tenyard line. End over end kick,

Richmond Tigers, Abraham Monson making thecatch and again good field position now here
for New Richmond. Absolutely a lotdifferent than last time, as they started
out at their own seventeen short fieldhere for these Tigers, and I'm excited

there for New Richmond. Absolutely,and it looks like he's doing well here
stell Ricks back to hand it off. No, he'll roll to his left
looking downfield, gonna run with ithere. He didn't have anything going and
he will get back to the lineas scrimmage wrapped up in the backfield again
by the folks we'd like to talkabout. Luke Johnson was in on the
play certainly, and Higden there aswell. And now it'll be third and

three here for New Richmond. Thirdand short the Tigers who stayed on schedule
here and this one. I'm curiousto see what play they call. So
once again New Richmond at the newquarterback in there. Stell Ricks. Pretty
good thrower here as well, andhand it off on an end around a
langness trying to get around the rightedge from left to right, and he's
got the first down, just barely. It was well contained out there on

the edge, but just didn't makethe tackling time there, did Nolan on
them. If that was third andfour, it might have been fourth down.
But a good job there by bothsides. New Richmond just benefiting from
the line to gain there. Yeah, it gets it up to the forty

downfield in Max Kratovics and overthrown fromthe new quarterback in Stell Wreckton. That

tell you, it's a lot offun to hang one of those up there,
telling your receiver to go deep andget under it. But it's really
hard to put the right amount ofzip on that ball. It certainly is

run fort Epner rather up the middle. We'll get across the forty to the

First quarter. The Richmond's moved theball pretty well, but Old Abes
have bended and nut broken absolutely theeau Claire Memorial defense. They've gotten stops
when they've needed to, and that'skept this game scoreless. Nick Stel wrecked

in at quarterback. Reese Hitty wasthe man in a quarterback in the first
drive. Cell RECs come in again. He's a six foot four hundred and
ninety nine pounds sophomore. He's completingabout sixty percent of his passes for two
hundred and forty six yards on theseason. Looking left the entire way here
on third and five, nothing there. He's still got some time rolling to
his right, tuck it to runto the thirty five to the thirty and
he's pushed out of bounds almost latethere, but he's got the first down

up at the twenty eight yard line. A scramble of ten yards. Sell
Rec kind of impressive. He's patient. That was an impressive little scramble.
Yeah, I want to talk aboutthe way that he was able to sense
that pressure coming in from the defensivetackle, the edge rusher is what they
call it these days. Here Stellwas looking past the whole time, and

then he decided, Hey, youknow, I can get some yards here,
and he did. That was impressive, I thought for sure from him.
And now he'll send a man inmotion and stead he'll give it off
to the tailback that is Hepner upthe middle. He's across the twenty five
and then spun down up near thetwenty two yard line. But that's about
a six yard gain for him there. And once again in on the tackle
here for Memorial was Zach Higden,but not the four a big six yard

they've slowed it down a little bit, not quite as fast of a tempo
as they were going with earlier inthe game. So once again Steller in

a great snap. The handoff goesup the middle and not a lot of
running room here, two maybe threeyards for Miles Burke, who had the
