(00:00):
Having three touchdowns and almost one hundredyards catching as well. We know that
they can really do it both ways. I know, like we said,
we're gonna be looking at the runninggames specifically here Dan Tonight, Broklare North.
We assume that that will be kindof a bread and butter for this
North team. But when they wantto, they can get through the air
a little bit, and this Chippafalls passing defense. They're only giving up
(00:20):
seventy six yards a game, Soif they do try to go to the
air a little bit, that's gonnabe interesting to see if Chipwa maybe can
try to turn this team over, even though North's played well in their air
games. Oh yeah, definitely. And another thing to note about McCracken too,
is he can run on the ground. His stats may not pop off
the page as he's like seven rushesand twenty two yards, but those twenty
(00:42):
two yards have been key in gameswhere he's been able to just get outside
of the pocket and scramble and findsome room out there on the field,
improvise maybe dumb luck sometimes, butdefinitely definitely improvisation is a big key in
that with McCracken, And honestly, they have a really great receiver room too,
three different players with almost one hundredyards over the in the air too.
(01:03):
And then you also have cam Olsonof course taking taking a lot of
pressure off of that offensive passing game, and we're seeing this offensive line start
to gain a little bit more ofhow do you say, kind of an
awareness of how what they need tobe doing, what their responsibility is.
Some hutzpah if you will, Yeah, exactly, so I think that's a
word that will work anyway, thatsounds like it. But but yeah,
(01:27):
that's certainly a big piece of this. Again for Chippawa, we know that
they can run a lot of differentlooks at out their atch as well,
and we'll see if that's the casehere tonight here between Chippewa and Eau Claire
North. We are a couple ofminutes away as we are almost ready for
the national anthem here from Carson Park. Again, you've been listening to the

eleven o'clock where Chuck Friedman and Friendswill have all the scores and interviews from
the folks from around the state ofWisconsin here in action tonight and high school
football. After tonight, we willbe over halfway through the season, which
is a wild thing to think about, but getting toward the nitty gritty already.
(04:46):
And boy Dan, it's a highschool football season. It comes and
go as quickly. I think it'sone of those where if you if you
blink, you miss it, andit kind of feels like that, all
of a sudden you start to seethe cream come to the top. We're
seeing that happen in the Big Rivers. Certainly, boy North can make a
statement tonight with a win, can'tbig. Yeah, And it feels like
the season just started to be honest, they're only three and one, but
man is it's pretty close to thehalfway point of the season. Yeah,
(05:11):
Claire North can really make a statementcure against a pretty big CHIPWA team and
a team that's been historically a prettygood team overall, like they were one
of the better teams in the conferencefor a bit. And you know from
these fans they travel well, youcan see over there right now. They've
got a full packed house over there, especially with the students section who are
all dressed in camo and orange rightnow for a hunting little celebration thing.
(05:35):
If if anybody out there listening ishurt me do games before, you probably
know I am not a hunter, but I do at least I guess keep
up on the news enough to know. I believe it's the start a bow
hunting season this weekend, so thatmight be have something to do with it.
There are duck calls over there aswell, so we'll just see how
how loud we get that crowd micthroughout the game to get you all the
(05:57):
ambiance of that. Now. Ofcourse, the Clare North student section has
gone on with the Neon construction outfitparking attendant look down there, which is
a pretty interesting as well. Sowe've got two really interesting student section sets
of apparel here tonight from Carson Park. The Huskies will be, of course,
in the Columbia blue uniforms, blacknumbers outline and white. They'll move
(06:17):
from right to left here in quarternumber one Chipwa in the road, white
uniforms, black numbers outlined in redwith red trim and black helmets. They'll
move from left to right here onyour radio dial. The kickoff will come
from Chippewa Falls and Owen Turner, who will kick things off. Huskies.
We'll send back T. J.Johnson alongside Aaron Solberg to return and we
(06:41):
are ready for football. Sixty fivedegrees, the sun starting to peek out
just a little bit, and what'sturning into a pretty gorgeous night for football
here in the Chipwa Valley. Weeknumber five of the high school football season
is underway, and here we godownfield. It goes on the far side
of Solberg. He'll take it upthe ten yard line between the numbers and
the hash mark, looking to bounceit out maybe back toward the middle here
at the twenty three he's wrapped up, falls forward to the twenty four,
(07:04):
maybe the twenty five and oakleare Northwill start at their own twenty five to
start off possession here tonight. AndI gotta give a quick shout out here
to Josh Craig. He really drovehis man on that block all the way
almost to the Chip of Valley benchright there, number eight on the field.
He was just really ripping and runningwith his defender on him. That's
(07:29):
the kind of blocking you need ifyou're gonna win a game like this.
That's the kind of intensity you needif you're gonna try and be such a
big Chip of Valley team. It'san interesting thing. And I don't know
if last week. I didn't seeany film from Superior last week, but
cam Olson has changed his number fromnumber twenty to number zero. Here tonight,
he's wearing the number zero jersey, standing next to number ten Peyton mccrack.
I'm not sure if there's any storybehind that, or maybe just a
(07:53):
damaged jersey of some kind. They'llfake the handoff to him to start off.
Mccracking rolling to his left throws itover top in complete looking for his
tight end, Brady Jentsen well covered. Really not a lot of guys open
downfield. There's that rollout against hisbody there over to the left side,
which oftentimes, I mean, ifyou're not really honed in and you have
some space, that's a hard throwto make. Oh yeah, And you
would have liked to see him maybetry and take off there. However,
(08:15):
he had number thirty two, IsaiahBonen from the Chip of Valley Cardinals right
on top of him, so itwould have been a hard throw to make
either way. Just kind of luckyto just toss into the dirt there and
live to see another play. Yeah. Bon six, one seventy pounds,
senior linebacker, one receiver right, two to the left here, second and
ten. They'll give the handoff toOlson. He slips, stays on his
(08:35):
feet though, to the twenty sevenand he'll get no more than that.
A nice job getting in on thetackle on the play by Posolo. Nolan
Posolo. Rather, it'll be thirdand about eight now here for the Huskies,
and you have to kind of thinkmaybe the rain had a little bit
of an impact here on this field. Already seeing some players slipping out there,
(08:56):
Hi, Hi will good shit rightnow, they've only allowed the two
we'll call it about three yards. He didn't get them marked up to about
the twenty eight yard line there onthat run. So third and seven here
for North, I'll have two receiversright, one to the left for McCracken.
In the shotgun. I'll bring ablitz five man rosh throw it out
to the right. It's picked offand a chance for a pick six.
(09:18):
Now to the ten the five touchdown, Chipwa Jack Sweepelehover the defensive back,
and Senior takes it in and it'sa pick six. He jumped the route
on the far side and it justlike that, Hi high lead six.
Nothing, very very good read bySweepleholder there. He read that thing all
the way from when McCracken was justabout to throw it. You could see
(09:39):
him already jumping that ball immediately. Not the best read there from McCracken,
but I could see what he wasdoing. He should have just matured that
there was no corner sitting on theedge there. But just a great all
around job by this Cardinals defense allready to start this game. And you
can hear that North or that Chipwafans action across from us, making quite
(10:01):
a bit of noise as the extrapoint is up in good seven and up
in Cardinals lead eleven oh three leftto go here in the first quarter,
not even a minute in Chippewa withthe early lead back after this right here
on Classic Rock ninety two one. This is oh Claire High School football on
Classic Rock ninety two one. One. Like auto, he'll find the right
(10:26):
car for you. Yeah, youHoly on Birch Street and Clair is true.
One is that your home for theHuskies is Classic Rock ninety two one.
(10:52):
Welcome back in your Carson Park.I'm about to pick six from Jack
sweeple over to give Chippewa an earlyseven nothing lead. We're not even a
minute into tonight's game here between theCardinals and the Oaklare North Huskies. Again,
the Huskies at three and one onthe season. Chipwood does not have
a conference win yet, they're oneand three overall, and just like that,
Dan again reading the quarterback and imaginethis drive. North's gonna put the
(11:16):
ball on the ground a little bitearlier and a little more often. Oh
yeah, definitely, especially when youhave Cam Olson in the back there and
the thing is you have to makesure that you're not doing exactly what McCracken
did there. It's to say, nothing like a simple way there. However,
he kind of opened it up ashere's a chance i'll cut you off.
Apologies, dan As Solberg with abig return the kickoff across the forty
(11:39):
yard line up to the forty four. He got a little lane over there
on the far sideline, didn't reallyhave to do much, kind of opened
up for him a good return. So all right, now a short field
in front of you, and backto what you were saying, this should
be cam Olson time. Oh yeah, this should be definitely cam Olson time.
See I expect a lot of groundpond especially now with a short feel
ahead of them, great great positioning, great angles taken by the blockers.
(12:00):
It really didn't even look like Solbergwas running that fast, to be honest,
he kind of I've seen him runway faster down the field. Yeah
again, big lanes. I thinkhe was trying to look for that final
lane, that final cutback spot justnever really matriculated for him. But a
forty four yard line here for North, that's whether the start off. The
two receivers left, one right onthe far hash right to let they go
again. They'll send a man inmotion here on and a pitch that should
(12:22):
be an incompletion. That is nota fumble. It was a forward pass
by McCracken to T. J.Johnson. The pass went forward. I
mean a lot of folks there, everybody jumped on it. They thought it
was a fumble. But that isofficially a pass in the book when you
have somebody running by as a receiverand you pitch it forward to them like
he did. And now there's aninjured North player on the ground here as
(12:43):
well. To be second and ten, much to the chagrin of the Chippewa
fans. But the right call madeby the officiating crew. Oh yeah,
definitely, And that was not Hedid not secure that ball. It kind
of like hit the top of hishands and just couldn't find the way to
just seal it in. It justbobbled it around and luckily it wasn't enough
backwards pass otherwise. This was definitely. Chip was yeah. Chip was ball.
(13:05):
Yeah. You can tell Dan thatthere's some early jitters here. I
think there's a little bit of this. One of the things we didn't talk
too much about in the pregame show. Here is of course Matt McGinnis and
a second season coaching for North isthe man who is coming off the field
here for the Huskies is Ethan Knutson. And the lineman who is being helped
off hopefully he is all right, not putting any weight on that left foot.
(13:30):
But one of the cool storylines heretoday's Matt McGinnis in a second season
coaching for the Huskies. His firstcoaching job was as an assistant on the
freshman team core chipwa about ten yearsago. Then he started coaching the freshman
team head coach. So him andRaikovich obviously have kind of a fun relationship
there that like each other obviously,And now Matt McGinnis is the pupil has
become or the student has become maybethe teacher at least that's what he's hoping
(13:52):
for here is there's a hand offto camp Olson breaks the initial tackle,
but then gang tackled by a hostof Cardinals. This will be a loss
of one back to the forty threeyard line. There they got some early
penetration and then the rest of theCardinals defense, including Brett Krista and others
come in to make the stop.Really great read there by Trevor Dombrowski of
Shai Hi blew up that play beforeit could even really start to go,
(14:15):
and even with cam Olson breaking thetackle, he did enough to just stunt
the play and now cause Oaklare Northto have to try and make it a
make it on a third and twelveafter starting on some short field position too.
By the way, ten twenty fiveleft to go, first quarter,
it's Chipwa's seven Oa Claire North.Nothing here tonight at Carson Park, and
North has had two possessions, hasbarely moved the ball third and eleven from
(14:37):
their own forty three yard line. They need the forty six of Chipwa four
a first down, only a threeman roush McCracken looking over the middle.
Nobody there has good protection. Nowhe'll throw near side, and that's too
much and too high for Solberg. It would have been close to the first
down if he made the catch, but he had to kind of airmail that.
There is a flag back at theline of scrimmage. It's holding on
North. This will be declined andthere'll be a fourth down coming up for
(14:58):
the Huskies. And something to watchhere is McCracken he's gingerly stepping with that
right foot, and I'm hoping he'sdoing well and hopefully he can come back
into the game, because you know, he doesn't want to. He's a
competitor. He doesn't want to sitdown on this one. But still hopefully
he's able to come back in herereal quick. Yeah, it's not a
good sign certainly there for the Huskies. Matic Skirts is the man back to
(15:20):
punt here for oaklare North standing athis own thirty yard line and now a
whistle and a I think we hadtoo many men in the formation here for
Chipwa. It is going to bethe call. This is coming in from
the back judge. And I doubtthat this is a delay a game that
they had. They were, youknow, they were set up on defense
on the return, and all ofa sudden it was a number twenty for
(15:43):
Chipwa and Guyton Patro who is headingoff. And sure enough there is a
penalty coming up on Chip But Idon't think this will change the decision Dan,
but still makes it a little bitchance of a better field position if
you're North. Yeah, and especiallywith how this defense runs, if we
haven't even seen the it's already sevennothing. We haven't even seen the Oh
Claire North defense come out, comeout and play. So anything to kind
(16:03):
of back up this Chai high offenseas much as possible, it would be
great. Once again, Gert's backto kick returning here as Carter Bovy and
a little bit of a high snap. It's an end over end kick to
the near side. He won't beable to initially field this one, has
to go all the way back tothe nine yard line before he scoops it
up on a couple of bounces. Now he moves between the hash marks,
(16:23):
trying to run east to west tothe far side of the field of the
twenty for the twenty five, lookingfor a hold of the thirty down the
far sideline, still out of hisfeet and not out of bounds. He
got all the way back almost tothe fifty yard line. Now a late
flag coming in from the white hathere as well. I'm not sure if
we'll get a late hit or whatthe case is, but they're gonna mark
amount of bounds at the forty four. We'll call him a thirty four yard
(16:44):
return and there is a penalty. We'll have to wait to see what it
is. Officials were miked up,and they were at least trying to be
miked up tonight, but I thinkthey were having some technical issues with that.
Sure sound of the game, thislooks like it's going against Chip was
Chip was backing up a bit here. Holding is the call, and i'll
(17:07):
likely be the question is whether it'sfrom the spot of the foul or whether
it's from where the kick was returned. But him in a blindside block as
well, now as we see that. But yeah, they'll move it all
the way back to the thirty orapartment the twenty nine yard line, and
that's where CHIPA starts off leading sevento nothing with nine forty eight left here
in the first Yeah, that wasTanzer kind of got all handsy in the
(17:30):
back and then just completely blindsided anotherguy. It's just you don't that kind
of sets you back a bit. After that great return by Bowie, who
showed off his acceleration there, wantshe hit the sideline, all right,
So off we go here on theoffense, and this is the handoff right
up the gut, and this iswhere North is really gonna have to step
up, especially with kind of thisrough start that they've had giving up that
(17:51):
pick six to start the game, and I'll give it to Lamay up the
gut, got maybe one or twoyou have. I'll mark him at the
thirty yard line. This job therebythe Huskies to kind of clog up the
middle. And it's second and nineand LeMay is like their main form of
offense right now and has been forthis whole season. So it'll be interesting
to see how North has gonna limitthem as this game goes on. Once
(18:14):
again, Chipoy here with Mason vonHayden. He'll give the hand up.
No, he'll fake it, rollout to his right, looking downfield.
They got a couple options. He'llgo to the underman catch made at the
thirty seven yard line, across theforty up to the forty four yard line,
and that was a good little decisionthere. He wanted a man downfield.
Insteady goes to Jaalen Smith and that'senough for a first down up to
the forty four on a gain offourteen yards. And Von Hayden's the type
(18:38):
of guy that wants to go andthrow that deep pass. He already has
two interceptions on the season, buthe chose the smarter option. They're dumping
that off to Jaalen Smith and someearly movement on the line. No call.
They're gonna bounce this one out herewith Jackson LeMay on the edge and
he is wrapped up for a loss. That'll be a loss back to the
forty three and now they're gonna givehim the line of scrimmage initially there.
(18:59):
But what a nice job getting outon the play there by a couple of
different Huskies. Taylor Frederick along withGarrett Staffel were there. And it's a
stop in second and ten. AndTaylor Frederick one of the main guys on
this defense. They're middle linebacker andtheir defensive just coach on the field.
That's what they always say about themiddle linebacker, and Taylor Frederick really embodies
that. Second and ten now fromtheir own forty four here, for Chip
(19:22):
was seven and up in Cardinals withthe lead over North and again early on
here first quarter, eight eighteen leftto play it in the clock, running
second and ten from their own fortyfour, you have Mason von Hayden and
the shotgun. Two receivers left, two right. He'll send his back to
the left side now of the formation. That's Preston Elder who's come into the
game, fakes a handoff to him, looks to throw a left side wide
open catch at the fifty and dancingdown the sideline is once again Jaylen Smith
(19:47):
making another catch for a big firstdown, big yardage here down to the
forty three of the Huskies. JaylenSmith. I feel like we're gonna be
calling his name a bit for wheneverthey move away from LeMay here, which
they have been now, it's alwaysgonna be Jalen Smith because he's always that
really quick guy that can just fitin those small corners in the defense.
Yeah, Jalen Smith, a slotreceiver five eleven hundred and sixty pounds,
(20:11):
has twelve receptions for eighty eight yardscoming into the game. Also runs some
end a rounds for them, sohe's got some speed as well. Now
they'll send a man in motion JacksonBowland from right to left that gives up
the middle here to le May andhe is wrapped up for a one maybe
two yard game as a nice tackleright up the gut there by Newah Penneger
and it will be second and nineand just great recognition by the linebackers there.
(20:34):
In general, they really have beenhitting their angles. The defensive passing.
The defensive pass defense is not reallybeen up to snuff that we've seen
for oh Claire North, but reallythe linebackers have been holding them in this
game, not letting Jackson Lamay getany really big rushes here. Yeah,
US defense has been pretty good sofar in LeMay again, he comes into
(20:56):
the game averages about five and ahalf yards or carry, two hundred and
forty one yards, two touchdowns aswell, really good athletic back and now
pitch here trying to get it onthe end around to bowling bowling with some
space of the thirty five, dancingon the sideline. He steps out of
bounds, but he's got the firstdown. They'll mark him out at the
thirty. It's a game of twelveon the play in a first down here
(21:18):
for Chip week. And I wantto give a shout out here to Lamy.
I know I just talked about him, but he said a really good
block to really seal up that end, kind of just nailing Penneger and keeping
him sealed in from allowing him tolike stop it, because if Penneger would
have cutting around there, it wouldhave been just like a maybe a one
yard maybe two yard game. Butinstead it turns into twelve. Just based
(21:38):
on that one block. Again,it is a seven nothing laid here for
Chai Hi. They gotta pick sixto start this game on the first series
for Oa Claire North after on thethird play on a third down play in
fact put him up seven or nothing. Now they have their first offensive drive
of the game. They're moving theball well facing end around. It'll be
Jackson lane up the middle. Itgets a couple up to the twenty six
(21:59):
yard line. Tackled on the playup the middle there by Rashaan Putnick.
It will be a gain of aboutfour and second and six. Now for
Chipo, it just seems like there'sno energy in this defense right now.
They need the Guinness to kind ofpump them up a little bit more.
It just seems like they're kind ofjust slogging about and just taking whatever the
offense is going to do to them. They really need to get out there
(22:22):
and set a just up standard andmake sure they stick with us the rest
of the game. To your pointthere, Dan, I think it's one
of those where it seems like it'sjust one guy making tackles, right.
No one else is really hawking tothe ball. Right now for the Huskies,
are just kind of letting the firstguy hopefully make the play, looking
to roll right now passing a lap. This a deep shot or the end
zone incomplete. Pretty good coverage downfield by Maddox Girts on that far side.
(22:45):
The deep shot taken was for SamHebert. It was not there.
Third and six now, good goodsay, good n play design, but
ended up being an incompletion in theend zone. Yeah, that was a
great play design. They got theone on one matchup there. They just
couldn't really get that ball in there. Von Hayden had a nice idea trying
to put it where the only thereceiver could get it. But just a
(23:07):
great job by Girts to get inthere and break up the play. Get
in there and just block the visionof the ride receiver. Send a man
in motion. That's Bowling on theend around again, North trying to get
some penetration, trying to get aroundthe edgy Canton bowling. We'll get out
of bounds. Pass the twenty andhe should have the first down. The
mark him out at the eighteen yardline. That's an eight yard gain on
third and six and a first down. Boy North was close to containing that
(23:29):
one, but a good edge blockout there by Eberra again I believe it
was, and that is a firstdown. And yeah, chi Hi has
just been taking them all around theoutsides of the linemen there. They're getting
some great blocks and honestly, theydon't need much. They have some fast
skill players here that can really takeit the top off of the defense in
the red zone. Seven nothing Chippawoodthe lead and the ball they will fake.
(23:51):
The give to LeMay rolling to hisright downfield, over thrown there by
Von Hayden. He had a man, I mean, wasn't terribly wide open,
was Jalen Smith, but should havebeen able to make that completion.
Just maybe the throw on the runthrough off his timing and he ends up
airmailing the Yeah, he kind oftook a weird step when he threw that
and especially just released at a bithigh. It just didn't look like a
(24:14):
good throw, to be honest.Six So eight left to play. Clock
stopped on the incompletion here in thisfirst quarter, second and ten for Chipwa.
They lead seven or nothing at theeau Claire North eighteen yard line.
Knocking on the doorstep here Von Haydenin the shotgun on the far hash one
receiver out to his left, twoto the right. As they move left
to right, they gave us toLamy countering up the middle, nothing doing
(24:36):
once again and again the defensive line, which is pretty big for this North
team, and Rayshawn Putnick again makingthat stop after a gain of one maybe
two, and this is gonna bringup third and long here for Chipwa And
just yeah, as you've said aboutthis defensive line, I can never stop
talking about them because it always seemslike one of them is making a play
out there, whether it's filling upa hole or getting in and blowing up
(24:59):
a play, especially with these greatlinebackers. To take some pressure on them,
take some pressure off of them.Just a great set up here for
them. Different look here for vonHayden. He puts Leamy out as a
receiver in the slot to the right. Three receiver set out there North,
chasing after throw down field and completegreat defense downfield on the coverage. Reagan
Creutz was here. He got tothe receiver right as the ball was getting
(25:19):
their perfect timing the pass antennant forJalen Smith incomplete fourth down the Cardinals and
here we go. We're gonna seethis kicking team. I was watching them
all throughout their warm ups and theywere nailing some deep ones too with Chai
Hi, but just great defense overall. By that they were they were a
(25:40):
bit sleepy to start this, uh, this passing defense for oh Claire North,
but they've started to pick up theirrhythm. They started to get to
being the defense that we are usedto seeing from this passing d Fashion Bower
is the kicker here for this chipwith team Noah Potter is the holder.
They had a late lineman getting onhere and no count yet though the kick
(26:03):
is up. The kick is abouta thirty four yard attempt and that ball
is through end good and it isa ten nothing lead out for the Cardinals
with five twenty three left to goin the first quarter. We'll be back

Com again company your home for theHuskies is classic rock Nutty. Welcome back
in once again here to Carson Park. A field goal of thirty four yards
from Ethan fashion Bauer puts Chipwaan Outup by two scores, ten to nothing
(27:11):
here over Oak Claire North, fivetwenty three left to play in the first
quarter. A couple of scores foryou from around the area. Regis with
an early eight nothing lead on FallCreek with about two minutes left to go
in the first quarter. There again, that game is on Moose Country here
tonight. Butominie leading seven and nothingat home over Hudson. That a big
result there, but Nomine Course undefeatedand hoping to remain that way against the
(27:33):
Raiders River Falls already of the fourteennothing lead at home against Oaklaire Memorial that
one near the end of the firstand going into the second quarter no score
between Nielsville and Mondovie. That abig matchup in the Clover Belt with Regis
and Mondovie potentially an undefeated in conferencematchup coming up next week between those two.
All right, kickoff awaiting and cominghere from Chipwell, once again,
(27:56):
it'll be Solberg alongside John send backto return this for the Huskies, and
they will aim towards Solberg and hewill get it at about the fourteen yard
line between the hash and the numbersof the twenty five. Gets hit but
breaks out of it at the thirty. Then he's wrapped up near the thirty
two yard line and the rugby scrumpush back, get some forward progress to
(28:17):
the thirty three, and that's whereNorth will take over here against the Cardinals.
Thoughts on that, I mean, again, for North, let's just
talk about their offense hasn't gotten muchgoing Olson. We saw a little bit
of footing issues a couple of timeshere as well. You need to figure
out a way to get him goingdownhill pretty quickly at the match. Oh
yeah, definitely, And either that'swith some screenplays or some shorts slant passes
(28:41):
to kind of get some cam Olsonflow going, because then you have to
almost expect them to sell out forthe pass instead of the run. If
you're able to get that started, but right now I think they just need
to give it a little bit moreto Cam and maybe some either around the
ends or just I don't know, something up them gunt and it's just a
quarterback keeper here for McCracken right upthe middle. Got some pretty good yardage
(29:04):
here. There's that downhill run.It wasn't Olson this time, but he'll
take it up the middle for aboutmaybe six yards so the thirty nine yard
line, and I think they feellike they can get a push up front.
It's just a matter of the playdeveloping quick enough so they can get
good downhill quick quickly. Yeah, and McCracken's definitely been We don't talk about
him as much of a dual threatquarterback, but man, he will get
(29:27):
out and run if given a chance. Like he is a he is a
good runner. He is a smartrunner, especially well, I said McCracken,
I may have been wrong. Myapologies are. I believe Zach Shipman
is now into the game. Youmentioned the limping off there from mccrack and
number eleven. Zach Shipman, Ibelieve is the man in at quarterback here.
He will give it to Olsen tryingto bust around the edge he's got
(29:48):
a good hole out to the fortyfive and near the midfield. They'll mark
him down at the forty nine. That's a ten yard game in a first
down, But yeah, sure enough. Zach Shipman, the sophomore at six
foot, one hundred and seventy pounds, is in for mccrack and mccracking is
standing with his helmet on the sideline. Again. We saw him limp off
hoping he's okay. But if thisis an injury situation or they just want
(30:08):
to change things up a little bit, they might just be giving him a
rest because I saw that ankle andthey might want to see what Shipman's got
going for him here. Mccracking especially, definitely didn't look like he was in
any good any good health when hewas hopping off. But we'll see what
happens. Give will be to Olsen. Some confusion here on this handoff,
but he breaks the first ankle tackle, maybe gets a yard or two.
(30:30):
They had marked him at their ownforty nine. They're gonna give this up
to the fifty, So a twoyard game. Second and eight now coming
up here for the Huskies. Olsenmaking something out of nothing. But that
was a little bit of a lookof the backup quarterback coming in there and
maybe not quite knowing exactly where Olsonwas going to be. And that's gonna
be the issue with having a backupquarterbacks because you're gonna have some inexperience here
(30:52):
and there you're not gonna know, especially if you haven't had very much time
to even be on the practice squadvery often. He doesn't know the playbook
like McCracken. Doesn't mean he's notgonna be able to make those same reads
that mccracking can make, but hedoes seem to have a little bit of
speed to him. Two receivers tothe left, one to the right.
They'll give it again to Olson, trying to bounce it out on the edge.
Part me not Olson, Rather,it's a backup running back though Lavante
(31:15):
bean I believe who got the handoffthere. He'll get a yard to the
Chipwa forty nine yard line. Nowthird and seven here for North with three
minutes left to play in the firstquarter. They've got the ball on the
third down, but it's the ChaiHi Cardinals will lead ten to nothing and
McCracken's back out there. If yousee he just kind of ran back onto
the field. I wonder if theyI wonder if they finally cleared him,
(31:37):
because I'm guessing that's kind of whatthey're holding him out to see if like
he had some kind of extra injury, because you don't know. You never
know with an ankle injury. Itcould be just a sprained ankle, or
it could be a break. Itcould be a break sometimes that sometimes the
excitement gets to you. Yeah, adrenaline starts pumping that sort of thing.
So yeah, I'm a cracking backin now here with two receivers right one
to the left, third and sevenball at the chip of forty nine,
(32:00):
and there's moment on the front line. I think the left tackle here may
have moved for Oak Clare North KentonMondo. And sure enough it is a
false start. So it's gonna bemake it now third and twelve here for
the Huskies, backing them up backinto their own territory and just kind of
going backwards right now. And againthat's sort of been the case most of
this first quarter for Oak Claire Northoffense has just not gotten much going and
(32:22):
gets a pretty good Chipwood defense.Yeah, and the thing about that is,
Oh Claire North really needs to startgetting into other sets, to start
to throw some extra passes, especiallyshort slant passes. Maybe just something to
get a little bit of variety going. It seems like it's just been a
run almost every play. Here, two receivers right, one left here for
(32:43):
McCracken. Third and twelve, they'llsend a man in motion. It's a
GiB to Olsen instead. Pretty bighole to start now it closes up,
he'll roll off a tackler up toabout the fifty. It's a gain of
four on the play to get backsome of that yardage, but not enough
up the gut there. Look likeIsaiah Bonen was in on the play along
with a couple others. Fourth andeight now, and once again the Huskies
are going to try to play thefield position game, pump this one deep
(33:04):
and see if they can pin ChipWill inside their own ten and just going
right back to the run with Olson, even though it didn't work before,
they're still trying to get the rungame established. And while I can respect
it, I don't know if that'sgonna work right now against this Chai defense
that has been really great just againstthe run to start this game. Already
a minute in they have not beenable to get anything going. Gert's the
(33:27):
punt and he'll punt from about hisown fourty. It's a pretty good wobbling
spiral. It'll be received at thetwelve yard line. Backing up, there
was Bowie now trying to look forblocks bouncing out left. Was there a
block in the back It might havebeen. They didn't call it though,
and he bounces out across the farsideline across the thirty thirty five forty and
they'll push him out of bounds, marking him at the forty four yard line.
Another really good return at east eastto west running for Bowbie, but
(33:52):
Hey made it work and sure enoughup to the forty four and chip with
again good field position to start offthis drive and Bowie has some great acceleration.
He shows it off there and heshowed it off in the last one
too, just being able to justoutrun defenders straight up out run the eau
Claire North kick return team did ora kick defense team was not really able
(34:13):
to take great angles and Bothie madehim pay for that. So this one,
this return does stam Remember that nicereturn he had on the last punt,
There was a blindside block on theplay that pushed him back. But
now they'll start at their own fortyfour yard line here with one h three
left to go in this quarter, they'll pitch it out here on the option
play, and what great containment outthere by the Huskies. This is gonna
(34:35):
be a big loss. They pitchout to Lamy did von Hayden, and
this will be a loss of atleast five back to the thirty eight yard
line. We'll call it a lossof six. And a great job by
the Huskies to get out on theedge and contain that option, and especially
Tai Shoff. Tai Shoff made thattackle, great beautiful tackle, got him
right by the leg and just refusedto let go. LeMay was trying to
(34:59):
break that it's so hard, butjust could not get passed Shof he just
grabbed on and then all the Huskiesjust swarmed and took him down. Maybe
the last play of the quarter.Twenty three seconds left and it tended nothing.
Here, Chipwa leads and again VonHayden back to pass, goes out
with a wide receiver screen caught outat the twenty five, move at the
forty and to the fifty he goesand this is bowling and he's got a
(35:20):
chance to go to the thirty tothe twenty breaks through to the ten five
touchdown chippwa no flags on the fieldand some tawning from von Hayden behind it
as well, looking over at theNorth bench, putting his hand up to
his helmet saying, I can't hearyou. It's sixteen to nothing. Hi,
high leads and that's a beautiful playcall and absolutely amazing blocking two by
(35:43):
the way, especially by the receiverson that one. They got right into
the pads of the defenders and justwould not let go, resulting in just
an amazing, amazing Zach Bolan runpass, screen pass, beautiful pass,
sixty two yard touchdown and a whistleand a time out taken by Chippawa.
(36:05):
Here again they didn't have the rightperson. It's a second time that's happened
on a field goal or an extrapoint attempt. So I'll take a time
out. We'll keep it here witheight seconds remaining in this first quarter,
sixteen to nothing. Now Chip willwith the lead and I'll tell you what
Dan I mean. This is abouteverything that could go wrong for North here
has gone wrong. We've seen themmake some comebacks this season. Remember they
(36:25):
went down in that second half againstLacrosse Logan. We're able to come back
from a couple of scores. ButChip was coming with the fire. They've
come in with the energy tonight. You saw that little taunting from von Hayden
there at the end of the play. I think they knew coming into this
game the records weren't there. Northwas feeling good about themselves. Maybe people
doubting Chip will a little bit,and they feels like they've come in with
a little bit of a chip ontheir shoulder. Oh yeah. And also
(36:49):
considering this is the first time intheir entire season that they've scored in the
first quarter. This Chipwa team hasnot actually scored at all in their last
four games. And here they arewith potentially seventeen point lead to start off
this game. If you're Chip,if you're a Chipwall fan, this is
exactly what you want to see.Hey, you wonder what Chuck Rigovich talked
about this week, Maybe we shouldscore in the first quarter, guys,
(37:12):
And sure enough they have extra pointis up in good seventeen and up in
Cardinals with the lead eight seconds remaininghere in the first we will take a
quick break to be back right afterthis Classic Roy. This is so clear

Welcome back once again here to CarsonPark. All Chip Woyd to start
off here tonight. They lead seventeenand nothing over the Huskies eight seconds remaining
in the first quarter. A picksix, now a sixty two yard touchdown
pass and catch as well. AndDan North's not out of this by any
(38:22):
means, Don't get me wrong, but boy, the way Chip was started
this game. They have made astatement early on here tonight. Yeah,
and they must have seen the statistictalking about not scoring at all in the
first quarter and then suddenly scoring seventeenand just one game, just some crazy
statistic. And also they came outwith a fire in their belly. They
wanted to really put the beat downon this oau Claire North team. They
(38:42):
might see their schedule and say like, oh, yeah, we're one in
three, but really we can beundefeated here and we can start winning some
games. Let's see what ou ClaireNorth can do on this offensive drive though.
Kick it to Solberg at the fiveyard line, a good kick there
up to the fifteen twenty dances outof a tackle to start, and then
he gets wrapped up at about thetwenty one maybe the twenty two yard line,
and not a great return. Thattime. Huskies will be backed up
(39:05):
deep in their own territory. Fourseconds remaining here in the first quarter,
North will once again go back onthe offense for the fourth time already they
have barely moved the ball and nowat their own twenty one with just four
seconds remaining here in the first Itis easy, Dan, when you're down
seventeen and nothing to think. Weneed it all back right here, right,
We need to get it all backon one drive. You can't get
(39:27):
it all back on one drive. There's plenty of time. You gotta imagine
he's still gotta try to develop camOlson on the ground here. Oh yeah,
and this team is used to playingfrom behind. They can come back
and play with the rest of them. However, they need to see if
they can actually get cam Olson someplays here and get him open open field.
Mccracking gonna throw anyway. He'll throwout to the right side. Catch
(39:47):
made at the twenty five and thenspun down in a big hit out there
at about the twenty six on fourin progress. It catch was made out
on the edge by T. J. Johnson, but not before he got
lit up on the play. Andis the end of the quarter of four
yard gang. So second and sixcoming up when we come back to start
the second seventeen to nothing, ShaiHi with the lead. We're back right

fun here in between quarters. I'msure the Chip Will students actually have a
little more fun at the moment asChihi leads seventeen and nothing here over the
Huskies after one. Pika newtson withyou, a danzons here to my left,
Shansaka back in the studio. Arough first quarter, but a second
and six coming up here for oldClaire North. If you're a Husky fan,
(41:17):
nothing is hurt here as you'd say, and there's still plenty of time
in this game to get back intoit. I know Chip was moved the
ball well, the defenses look good, but this is no time to panic
if you're out. Claire North. No, definitely not, considering what we've
seen in the past from these guys. They're calm and collected and they can
just if they can just slowly trickleit down the field. They could easily
(41:39):
get a comeback going here. Ifyou're old Claire North, you just gotta
be able to find those pockets inthe defense cracking in the shotgun. He
will give it to Olsen trying tobounce out left up to twenty five,
chasing down a defender behind him. They'll roll out of a tackle at the
thirty and he's down near the thirtytwo yard line and that should be enough
for a first down on a sevenyard game. And sure enough it is,
(41:59):
and Cam Wilson gets more carries likethat. You can tell. I
mean he saw that there was anedge, he got around it there and
his vision looks really good tonight.Oh yeah, definitely. And other than
a few plays where he may havegotten one or two yards on some broken
some broken blocking assignments, he's lookedgreat. He's been able to really make
some moves even when the play isbreaking down, He's still able to pick
(42:21):
up like two or three yards, which is exactly what you want from a
back to just be able to bullover someone even when the play seems all
but lost. He's got that burstof speed as well. They're bringing a
blitz. Olsen gets the handoff andhe beat the blitz. He can breaks
the tackle, but then he's wrappedup by some Cardinals near the thirty six
yard line. Call that about ofthree maybe a four yard gain on the
play. A couple of Cardinals inthere is well. Trevor Dombrowski is the
(42:44):
man in on the tackle. Secondand six here for the Huskies at the
thirty six yard line, and herewe see Shipment actually coming in on the
play. I don't see mccracking outthere. Actually he is on the sideline
right now. They have Shipment backin there. So I don't know if
krack And is feeling something again withhis ankle or what the story is.
It is interesting. Yeah, againwe saw him limp off and so I'm
(43:06):
sure Shipman, I mean, helooks like he's ready to go. He's
gonna keep it himself. Run rightup the gut here and he'll get near
the forty yard line his forward progress, that will be a gain of about
four. Make third and pretty shorthere. I mean, you've seen now
Shipman twice run that play Dan whereit's just a quarterback keeper quarterback run.
There's no real razzle dazzle to it. But he's got some size, he
(43:28):
can pull over a couple defenders andjust kind of push the pile. And
that's what he did. And maybeeven if they're getting really creative and really
desperate towards the end of the game, they could use him in some trick
play forms or fashions, trying toload them into a false sense of security
with some run plays, and maybetry and get a passing play out of
him too. Third and about twohere from the forty yard line, they'll
(43:50):
shift two tight ends, so theright side of the formation, one receiver
left, one right pistol formation, high snap. They'll get it to Olsen,
they'll try to bounce it out ona stiff arm and boy at his
top running out to the forty fiveyard line. That's a gain of five
on the play against a lesser runningback that might not have gotten the first
album. But cam Olson is noregular running back. No he is not.
(44:13):
He isn't all around back. AndI've been saying this all game.
He just can turn what seems tobe just a dead play, something that
seems like it shouldn't have even gottennearly as many yards into a five six
seven yard game. He's just aconsistent guy that you'd love to have on
any offense. Chip will playing thatthree four formation, three to three lineman
and then the four linebackers set tworeceiver, left, two right, ballinear
(44:37):
hash first and ten back to passes. McCracken looking right, there's nothing there,
has to step up in the pocket. He is hit and taken down
back near the forty one, maybethe forty two where they'll give him forward
progress. A good job to atleast get closer to the line of scrimmage.
Year got a couple of yards backafter the initial contact, but bore
the pocket collapsed really really quickly asKrista comes in on the sack. I
(44:58):
gotta give a lot of credit tochrist on that one. He beat his
guy immediately off the go. Hejust completely blind. He completely took him
off his feet and was just immediatelyon top of the crack. And really
good job by that shy high defensivefront to get to get to mccrack and
who was pretty shifty in there. He really made something out of what should
have been just a sack for lossof five. Chippawa leading seventeen to nothing.
(45:20):
We go under nine minutes up togo. Second quarter. Mccrack and
gives fakes the handoff rolls right,He's gonna run with this one of the
forty five want to light hit outof bounds. That is an absolutely terrible
hit coming in late from Robert Wagner, and they will make the play and
that will definitely be fifteen extra yardshere on Chipwa indication at the cart so
(45:45):
this will be an extra fifteen andthen the first down here for Eau Claire
North and will easily get them intoChipwa territory. And in a high school
game with that late of a hitt, I mean, Dan, it wouldn't
be a shocking to see somebody getejected for something like that. I don't
think it sound like it was ahit to the helmet or anything, but
just such a late hit with howfar on a bounce he was. That
(46:07):
was that was on the border lineof something a little dirty. Yeah,
And it wasn't too violent of ithit. It was just kind of a
shove out of bounce, but hewas like literally stepping on the white chalk
mark while he was running out. You're gonna run this one again and back
into the game here for North asshipman, he's running around the edge just
that straight up quarterback draw gets abouteight maybe nine yards up to the twenty
(46:29):
nine yard line. And again,Shipman just doing a nice job coming in
here and running this quarterback draw forto be pretty effective. And while this
Chai Hi d line has been givingsome pressure on mccrack and the interior has
not really been doing a great jobagainst the run. Every it seems like
almost every time then a linebacker isnot coming in to help the defensive line.
(46:50):
They can get whatever they want.Clean up the middle again, seventeen
nothing, chipwa eight minutes left togo here in the second quarter North with
the ball second and one from thetwenty nine yard line of the Cardinals,
they'll give it to Olson here onthe end a round on the right side
and running off right tackle. Ishould say he's got enough for the first
down up to the twenty six athree yard game, didn't get much,
(47:10):
but he got enough stopped or stoppedinside once again by Brett Christa, and
that's enough for a first down. And this is what we've been talking about,
pet. You don't need to geteverything right back right away. You
don't need to do a fifty yardpass and suddenly you're back in the game.
Just slow, small drives that areeffective enough to keep the clock going
and just keep the yard's churning here, especially with like getting cam Olsen in
(47:34):
on those smaller run plays or gettingsomething tricky out there like they have been
with Shipman. Two receivers go tothe left, one of the right,
mccracking back in a quarterback ballman, your hash left to right, he's back
to pass, looking right, He'sgot one man over there, and it's
a little tiptoe catch. Beautiful playmade by Travian Johnson for the first down,
catch made at the sixteen yard lineand a first down for the Huskies.
(47:57):
I believe, baby, they're gonnamark yards short. It should be
a first down. I'm not surethey're gonna call this second. So second
and a gene sterotor index card andoff we go. And I will say
it looked like his toes may havebeen a bit closer to that where they
(48:17):
marked. So pretty good spot,i'd say by the ref. But it's
sure. It's it's literally like noteven a pen away from the first down.
I'll surprised with how close it isthat they didn't measure Olsen trying to
bounce it out on the left edge. I think he's got enough for the
first and sure enough he does upto the fifteen yard line. Didn't need
much and again handoff up the middle, bounced it out on that left side.
(48:39):
Tackled on the play by Braden Hogman. But a first down here for
no Clare North and they're knock knockknocking on Shy High's door right there,
just right up right in the red. So we haven't seen this much from
them today because they've been really reallyjust hard to watch on offense. But
(48:59):
now we finally gotten their groove andrhythm that we're used to, kind of
a little bit of spread and alittle bit of a little bit of a
good healthy dose of cam Olson too. Yeah, say, we talked about
it, right, you've got threequarters. Sure, it looks like when
you're down by three scores all ofa sudden, you could think that the
sky's falling. But they stayed withit, right, They've stayed with the
running game. They've kept cam Olsonrunning. Now, believe that the plate
(49:22):
clock was ticking down. So MattMcInnis is going to come in and take
a time out as he wants tochat a little bit about it as well.
Well. Again, great week ofcoverage coming up next week as well
here on our family of stations.Next Thursday over on Moose Country Mondovie against
Regis right here at Carson Park. That should be an exciting one. Then
(49:42):
on Friday night, Hudson against Memorialas the Old Aves. We're trying to
knock off one of the top teamsin the Big Rivers as well. So
plenty of great action coming up overthe next couple of weeks, and boy
at Mondovie Regis game could be areally big one. Of course, Mondovie
is a Regis has had their numberfor years since Mondovie came into the Glover
(50:02):
Belt, and Mondovie's had some reallygood teams. They've gotten the level four
a couple of times in those yearswhere Regis has beat him in different divisions.
They've been wanting to knock off Regisfor all that time, and I'm
sure they'll feel like there's a littleblood in the water next week depending on
how all those things work out.But that's gonna be another big one,
and we're certainly looking forward to allof those as well. All right,
(50:23):
Dan, so time out now.North obviously hasn't gotten in the end zone
yet seventeen and nothing Cardinals, sixfifty one left to go in the second
quarter, and you've got a firstintent coming up. It feels like,
you know, North still wants tothrow the ball a little bit here,
but you know they've got Chipwa pushedback a little bit, They've got some
momentum going in their direction. Justseems like if you can get Olson a
(50:44):
little bit of space, he's gotthe speed, he's got the strength where
Chipwa has a really hard time bringinghim down, and they're just grinding through
this defense too. This has beena long drive for the oh Claire Narth,
definitely longer than we've seen all gamefrom either team. Just a healthy
dose of running from Cam Olson, just a healthy don't so spring that football
out has been able to wear outthis Chai high defense out of the time
(51:06):
out. They'll give it to Olsonor on the right edge of the fifteen
and he kind of lunges across theten yard line and bowls a defender up
near the seven yard line there.I think he'll officially give the tackle to
Guyden Patrow and that's a couple ofyards short of the first down. We'll
call it second and two now herefor Auclaire North inside the ten of Chipwa
(51:28):
and I think that's probably one ofmy favorite things that Matt McGinnis has been
able to instill on this team isjust kind of throwing your body out there.
And you see that a lot withcam Olson where he'll just throw his
body onto a pile or just throwhimself through a defender. He is not
afraid to get up and personal withthese defenders. For Chai high game,
two receivers right one to the leftthey'll give to Olsen and trying to bounce
(51:50):
on on the left edge. Nothingthere and then a late flag coming in
as well. I'm wondering where thisone was thrown. I didn't think there
was a hole, but they aregoing to call a hole here on North.
So chip was got either a thirdand two thing, go at the
thing and back North up another tenyards, which I assume they will do.
With six or four left to gohere in the second quarter, I
think they might be getting the lefttackle. Hey there's a rough mind,
(52:15):
here you go. So the holdis called on the left tackle of oak
Claire North. Once again in Kentand Mondo, we had that false start
I believe on the last drive aswell. So second and twelve. Now
here for the Huskies back at theirown seventeen yard line or back at the
chipo at seventeen excuse me? Andoak Claire North also had their left tackle
(52:35):
go out too, or was ittheir right tackle? I believe it was
their left tackle that went out,So it makes sense why he's kind of
got this stress of this being oneof his probably first few starts in this
game. Yeah, they did havesome injuries earlier, as we mentioned,
but see now one receiver to theleft, two to the right. Here
ball in the middle, hash marksecond and twelve. After the holding penalty
(52:58):
back at the seventeen yard mccracking pumpsnow rolls to his right to the end
zones. Got a man, it'scaught. Touchdown Huskies for the back of
the end zone. They'll find wideopen errand Solberg open enough, I should
say the touchdown made seventeen yards andjust like that, the Husky's on the
board. It's seventeen to six Cardinalslead with five twenty eight left to go
in the first quarter. And howabout that seventeen with a seventeen yard touchdown.
(53:22):
Now that's just that's just comedy rightsitself right there. But That was
just a great job by Solberg tofind the little space in between the defense
in that zone there and just sitsjust sit and wait for mccracking to make
that throw. Extra point is upand good here for the Husky. Solberg
kicks it through and it's seventeen toseven. Cardinals will be back right after
(53:42):
this on Classic Rock ninety two oneis no clear high school football. On
Classic Rock two one, it's fullfurnace check in, clean time. Preventative
maintenance on your heating system is worthit and whether it's boilers, furnaces or

your home for the Huskies. IsClassic Rock ninety two one and welcome back
(54:30):
in once again here to Carson Park. As Chippewa now has had their lead
shrink to ten after the touchdown forOaklare North A seventy nine yard drive that
took almost so over six minutes andfinally results in a Solberg catch touchdown catch
from a crack in the seventeen yardsseventeen to seven. As we look at
our otto king out of town scoreboard, some good ones going on around the
(54:52):
area tonight, eight eight between Regisand Fall Creek in the second quarter Whenominie
now leads just fourteen to thirteen overHudson River Balls leads Memorial twenty one to
nothing, New Richmond All over Superiortwenty eight to nothing, and after Nielsville
went in for an early six tonothing lead, Mondovi if they kickoff return
for a touchdown makes it eight tosix late in the second quarter of that
(55:13):
contest. So some good ones heretonight for sure, kickoff coming here for
oad Claire North will back up thereturn to about the two yard line,
and this once again is Bowling.Bowling on the far side, gets the
lane to the thirty and up nearthe thirty five he's pushed out of bounds
at about the thirty eight yard line. Bowling with some great punt returns already
in this game, and that isabout a thirty six thirty seven yard return
(55:36):
here to start off Chipwoo with somegood field position, and MC keeps seeing
this over and over again. Thedefensive kick return team is not really taking
great angles here. They seem tobe kind of going straight at him.
They need to be going right wherehe's going to be, and he is
so fast. Bowland is so fastthat he's able to just kind of take
(55:59):
that top off the defense and justget around them to kind of get those
good yards there. Get the handoffhere to LeMay on the right side.
He's got a few yards across theforty up to about the forty four.
Got tripped up I believe on theplay there by a husky coming up to
make that tackle was Tai Shaw. You're gonna give Pennegert credit as well.
(56:20):
Shoff I think got the initial tripon him about six yard gain up to
the forty four, and that's whatthey need to you, Like Lamy,
get on the ground here to kindof establish that ground game a bit on
North. I'll get up to theline quickly here and they're gonna go with
almost an inverted double wing. They'llgive it to the tailback here and a
push up near the line of scrimmageby Devin Bush. I don't think he
got the first down. He lookslike he's a yard or two short.
(56:44):
Near side judge is coming in hereat the forty six to mark him.
Yeah, here's two yards short, third and two, and they're throwing a
lot at Old Claire North right now. They had three fake handoffs to get
Lamia in the ball as they hurryup to the line. Once more,
this is not a regius game. It's a chip pull, a game inverted
double wing. Again, the pitchesfumble, the ball is on the ground
still kicking around. Who's gonna diveon it? It's Chipwa, but it's
(57:06):
all the way back at the thirtynine yard line. That ball got booted
about five six yards behind the lineof scrimmage. Again, they went with
the old regious handoff that they werelooking for there for Lamy. He couldn't
hold on to it, and wewill have a fumble and now a lossy
yardage and a punt coming up forChipwa. And that's one of the hard
things about trying to be tricky withthat. They tried to do another triple
(57:27):
fake handoff with that and just couldnot get could not secure another handoff when
you're trying to fake out so manypeople like that, you can almost fake
it out yourself too much. Justnot a great execution on what looked like
a great claim on a high snapon the punt. They're gonna have to
go back and try to get thisone and run with it. Can they
do it around the edge to thetwenty and up to the twenty five?
And it ends up being basically aturnover on downs on the high snaps and
(57:52):
pushing and shoving behind the play aswell, Tripwa and Nora talking a little
bit of smack here. There wasa flag all so, oh boy,
there's a flag from the back judge. I'm wondering if there was too many
guys on the field here for NorthDan and that could be a huge penalty
against the Huskies as that might negatewhat would be a massive kind of change
(58:14):
of yardage here. Let's hear thecall. I think this is on Oaklear
North. Yeah, there was aninitial indication on the far sideline. It
didn't quite see it. Let's seeif we can listen in. I don't
think our microphones are working down therenow fallen on the field, the TV
(58:34):
five ark penalty you playing pork out? Yeah, so again it will not
give enough for chip Wool to getthe first down. But what a reversal
this will be after what would havebeen. I mean, we'll see what
the net is. Damn what Ican imagine what forty fifty yards could be
the difference at the end of thispunt. Oh yeah, especially since it's
set them up in great field positionalmost down to the twenty five that could
have been. That could have beena turning point right there. I almost
(58:57):
said, if momentum's about to swingafter after the play had been ended,
but then that flag negated literally everythingthat they had built up to. However,
they still have plenty of time evenif this punt takes it back to
the wee bit of the back endof the field there. But I'm not
sure why they moved it to theforty one if I remember right, wasn't
it the thirty nine where that ballwas snapped from originally? But so it's
(59:17):
only what two yards? Okay?I think the officials might have got that
one wrong another high snap, butit is received not a very good punt.
I wonder if somebody might have gota hand on that. It'll go
to about the thirty six of OaklareNorth before it's down, but I mean
thirty six compared to what about thetwenty five, So that's about almost a
forty yard difference between the bad snapspot that they would have got with that
(59:39):
after the penalty and now where thepunt ends up being. Yeah, and
as a coach and as a team, you don't like to see that,
especially because it can. I wouldn'tsay it takes the wind out of your
sales, because you did get theturnover, especially getting the ball back with
three minutes and thirty seconds, stillplenty of time to like get a solid
drive down the field and maybe eitherthey're set up in field goal position or
(59:59):
even get a touch down. Butyou had it right there at their own
thirty and that could have been likea great it's just a great drive for
them there. They could have ransome time off the clocks, they could
have scored quickly, and they've gottenthemselves back on offense or defense and tried
to do the same thing again Chaihaileading seventeen to seven or over Oh Clare
North, three thirty left to go, second quarter, Oh Claire North and
(01:00:21):
the shotgun once again with mccrack andI believe as a man in their one
receiver left, two right. He'sgot Oldsome behind him and the pistol gives
it to him and he'll get trippedup right at the line of scrimmage,
falls forward to the thirty nine yardline. It'll be a gain of three
four him, but not a lot. I'm sure North is kind of I
don't say they'd be cautious here, but already kind of trying to figure out
if they get a first down.If they do, then I'm sure it'll
(01:00:42):
be game on. Let's go gofor it. If not, it's to
run some clocks so you don't giveit back to Chippawa. But a lot
of time left in this half, especially because they have a ten point lead
alrighty here, and that's another problemwith that. They were set up for
potentially a field goal play with wherethey were on the thirty, but now
they're already back on their own fortytwo receivers go left, two right here
once again for McCracken. He's gotOlson to his left, second and seven
(01:01:06):
from their own thirty nine yard lineon the far hash left or right.
They bring a blitz. They pickit up Olsen with a beautiful pickup.
McCracken rolls right looking downfield, stilllooking ends up throwing it away. Probably
a good decision there. Want topick up on the blitz by Olsen.
He was gonna get lit up wasMcCracken and Olson was the boy's I think
McCracken might owe him a stake dinnerafter that blitz. P pick up.
(01:01:28):
Oh yeah, definitely even if evenespecially if that just caused a ripple effect
and potentially gave him some more chancesto get go get a game here,
because wow, was that almost reallybad for Oa Claire North And just a
smart play by McCracken. The thrownaway at the end too, there wasn't
really anyone open. I want tosee if they can maybe get Brady Jensen
(01:01:49):
couple of plays here. They triedto early to get him involved. He's
getting the tight end has been abig piece of this offense for North.
Third and seven from their own thirtynine yard line, about ten seconds left
here on the play clock. Onereceiver left, two to the right to
forty left to go second quarter chipwith seventeen Oh Clare norths seven third and
seven back to pass pump fake Nowhe goes deep down the far sideline.
(01:02:09):
It is up and incomplete, justkind of ran over the defender there,
did Trevian Johnson. They want offensivepass interference, but that was almost like
a pick Aj McNamara on that farside the corner. He just kind of
stood and just let Johnson kind ofrun into him almost, I guess a
smart play, but maybe a littlebit on the shady side there. But
(01:02:30):
no flags. Yeah, that wasan interesting play. I was for sure
that they might have called a defensivepenalty just mainly because he stood there and
ran in the way. You can'tdo that on defense again, I think
you know, Chippa was arguing foroffensive pass interference because of the shove,
but there was just nowhere for himto go. Kind of use the sideline
as an extra defender as they say, and kind of shove that route out
(01:02:51):
of bound. So now here's aline drive punt. This will be returned
and caught with a chance for abig return to the forty to the fifty
here and now Chipwa goes out ofbounds. That's a great return from Carter
Bowie and boy, not a greatpunt on that play by Gert's a line
dry there is no hang time onthat and a big return into north territory
and Chipwa is in business here withtwo twenty seven left to go in the
(01:03:14):
first half, and I wonder ifthey start punting this a little differently.
The way they've been punting is kindof kicking it towards that right side,
and that just gives more of anangle for Bowie or even Bowlands. Funny
that they both start with bees toget a bigger return just because they have
a great angle then, and noneof those old clear defenders on that right
(01:03:34):
side are able to get down fieldsfast enough to really catch up or even
make a difference to stop him.So a Chipwa punt than a north punch.
And now Chipwa with the ball atthe north forty two yard line,
up seventeen to seven with two twentyseven remaining here in the first half.
Once again, Mason von Hayden inthe shotgun. He's got two receivers right,
two to the left. He willfake the handoff, looks left the
entire way wants to go deep downthe near sideline. It is up and
(01:03:57):
incomplete once again trying to find beardown the field, and it was well
defended by Corey Linman, and it'llbe incomplete second and ten and if von
Hayden just had a little less onthat he might have been able to get
it there forever. But just greatdefense down the field. This defensive,
this past defense has really kind ofpicked it up since that first quarter.
(01:04:19):
They were a bit sluggish there, but now they're starting to get active and
hands and kind of throw themselves inthe way of those wide receivers. Yeah,
good defense certainly downfield, no shoutfor a flag at all. From
the Chip West sideline. Three receiversto the right, one to the left.
Again, they'll go with a littlepop pass on the right side to
their receiver Jackson LeMay trying to bounceit out on the edge ends up running
(01:04:40):
out of bounds. Good job kindof angling him out there by Maddox girds.
They wanted to get it out intoit for LeMay, into some space
so that he could kind of usethat speed. But again North kind of
stayed home nicely there, didn't lethim get much. It'll be third and
about seven here for Chip. Yeah, that was some great containment there by
that old Claire North defense and tryingto get him, trying to get him,
(01:05:00):
but you had it right there attheir own thirty and that could have
been like great, just a greatdrive for them there. They could have
ran some time off the clocks. They could have scored quickly, and they
gotten themselves back on offense or defenseand tried to do the same thing again.
Chaihai leading seventeen to seven or over, Oh Claire North. Three thirty
left to go, second quarter,Oh Claire North, and the shotgun once
(01:05:21):
again with mccrack and I believe asa man in their one receiver left,
two right, he's got Olsome behindhim and the pistol gives it to him
and he'll get tripped up right atthe line of scrimmage falls forward to the
thirty nine yard line. It'll bea gain of three four him, but
not a lot. I'm sure Northis kind of I don't say they'd be
cautious here, but already kind oftrying to figure out if they get a
first down. If they do,then I'm sure it'll be game on.
(01:05:43):
Let's go go for it. Ifnot, it's to run some clocks so
you don't give it back to Chippewawith a lot of time left in this
half, especially because they have aten point lead alrighty here, And that's
another problem with that they were setup for potentially a field goal play with
where they were on the thirty butnow they're already back on their own forty
two receivers go left, two righthere once again for McCracken. He's got
(01:06:03):
Olson to his left, second andseven from their own thirty nine yard line
on the far hash left or right. They bring a blitz. They pick
it up Olsen with a beautiful pickup. McCracken rolls right, looking downfield,
still looking ends up throwing it away. Probably a good decision there, want
to pick up on the blitz byOlson. He was gonna get lit up,
was McCracken, and Olsen was theboy's I think McCracken might owe him
(01:06:25):
a stake dinner after that blitz pickup. Oh yeah, definitely, even
if especially if that just caused aripple effect and potentially gave him some more
chances to get go get a gamehere, because wow, was that almost
really bad for ou Claire North Andjust a smart play by McCracken. The
thrown away at the end too, there wasn't really anyone open. I want
to see if they can maybe getBrady Jensen. Couple of plays here they've
(01:06:49):
tried it early to get him involved. He's getting the tight end has been
a big piece of this offense forNorth third and seven from their own thirty
nine yard line, about ten secondsleft here on the play clock. One
receiver left, two to the right, two forty left to go. Second
quarter chip with seventeen oh clar NORTHSseven third and seven back to pass pump
fake. Now he goes deep downthe far sideline. It is up and
(01:07:11):
incomplete. Just kind of ran overthe defender there, did Trevi and Johnson.
They want offensive passenger parents, butthat was almost like a pick aj
McNamara on that far side the corner. He just kind of stood and just
let Johnson kind of run into himalmost, I guess a smart play,
but maybe a little bit on theshady side there. But no flags.
Yeah, that was an interesting play. I was for sure that they might
(01:07:33):
have called a defensive penalty just mainlybecause he stood there and ran in the
way. You can't do that ondefense again. I think you know,
Chippa was arguing for offensive pass interferencebecause of the shove, but there was
just nowhere for him to go.Kind of use the sideline as an extra
defender as they say, and kindof shove that route out of bound.
So now here's a line drive punt. This will be returned and caught with
(01:07:56):
a chance for a big return tothe forty to the fifty here, and
now Chipwa goes out of bounds. That's a great return from Carter Bowie and
boy, not a great punt onthat play by Gertz a line dry there
was no hang time on that, and a big return into North territory.
And Chipwa is in business here withtwo twenty seven left to go in the
first half. And I wonder ifthey start punting this a little differently.
(01:08:17):
The way they've been punting is kindof kicking it towards that right side,
and that just gives more of anangle for Bowie or even Bowlands. Funny
that they both start with bees toget a bigger return just because they have
a great angle then, and noneof those old clear defenders on that right
side are able to get down fieldsfast enough to really catch up or even
(01:08:38):
make a difference to stop him.So a Chipwa punt than a North punch.
And now I'll Chipwa with the ballat the north forty two yard line
up seventeen to seven with two twentyseven remaining here in the first half.
Once again, Mason von Hayden inthe shotgun. He's got two receivers right,
two to the left. He willfake the handoff, looks left the
entire way, wants to go deepdown the near sideline. It is up
and incomplete. Once again, tryingto find bear down the field, and
(01:09:00):
it was well defended by Corey Linman, and it'll be incomplete second and ten,
And if von Hayden just had alittle less on that he might have
been able to get it there forever. But just great defense down the field.
This defensive, this past defense hasreally kind of picked it up since
that first quarter. They were abit sluggish there, but now they're starting
(01:09:21):
to get active and hands and kindof throw themselves in the way of those
wide receivers. Yeah, good defensecertainly downfield. No shout for a flag
at all. From the chip westsideline. Three receivers to the right,
one to left. Again, they'llgo with a little pop pass on the
right side to their receiver Jackson LeMaytrying to bounce it out on the edge,
ends up running out of bounds.Good job kind of angling him out
(01:09:42):
there by Maddox girds. They wantedto get it out into it for LeMay,
into some space so that he couldkind of use that speed. But
again North kind of stayed home nicelythere, didn't let him get much.
It'll be third and about seven herefor Chip. Yeah, that was some
great containment there by that old ClaireNorth defense and trying to get him trying
to get caught off guard here.Whether they're going to a quick snap offense.
(01:10:03):
Two receivers left, two right farhash third and seven from the north,
thirty nine, little pop passer leftside, he bear makes a catch,
makes a move at the thirty five. There is a flag on the
plays. He's close to the firstout. Fact he has the first down,
but I think this might be comingback with a hole down on the
edge on that screen, and sureenough it is a hold on chipwa.
It was down field, so thiswill probably put them back if it's where
(01:10:25):
the flag is about the forty fiveyard line. You're looking at third and
about thirteen where they'll mark this off. And that was Jalen Smith again offense
number nine, ten yard penalty. They're down now, you're right Smith on
the hole down on that edge andthat was why he had so much room
to run. Oh yeah, Imean, I'm liking how they're situating this
(01:10:47):
pass offense. They're kind of doinga bit tricky. They had some guys
setting picks on there while they wentstraight to number fifteen and Sam Ebart just
I'm really liking their scheme for ChaiHi. Third and thirteen here for Chipwa
out back to the north forty fiveyard line. They need the thirty two
for a first down. One fiftyeight left to play here. In the
(01:11:08):
second quarter, seventeen to seven, chip Will leads two receivers to the right,
one to the left. Van Haydenfakes the handoff, throws it over
the middle up and incomplete, hada man open, but just a little
too much air under that right overthe top. He was looking for one
of his tight ends. I believePreston Alger that was a little too tall
for him. And it's fourth downin a punt coming up for Chipwa against
Still one forty nine left here andthe half two timeouts for each squad.
(01:11:32):
Still plenty of time for maybe aneau Claire North comeback, or maybe for
Chai Hi to come back and getre established themselves. Also on that last
play, Bryce Hindbook got right inthe face of von Hayden to really cause
that pass to go off set.Let's say, good snap this time an
(01:11:54):
end over end punt, not agreat one, but North has to let
this one bounce. Takes a Chipwallbounce inside the fifteen and down at about
the fourteen yard line where North willtake over. It is Hudson nineteen,
Manominee fourteen at halftime, so thata big score line and result there.
Of course manomine coming into the nightfour and Ozero two and OEN conference.
There are four teams in the BigRivers who are two and OEN conference play,
(01:12:17):
including the Eau Claire North team andof course Chipwaen two. So they're
trying to get things right and getthe ship in the right direction here before
it becomes where you get basically mathematicallyeliminated from the playoffs. You've got to
kind of all or nothing at thispoint for Chipway tonight, and that's probably
why they were seeing them play withsuch intensity here. They kind of realize
what's at stake here. If theygo down another game, who knows where
(01:12:39):
that puts them in the conference. No, we're good, I'll say that
much back at their own thirteen yardline is where North will start this drive.
And do have him a cracket inthere with Olson to his left,
one receiver left, two to theright. He will not give it this
time. He'll pass it though outto the near side. That is up
an incomplete but a flag coming inon the play, two flags in fact,
and this will be defensive pass interferenceon Wesley Tanzer on this near side.
(01:13:04):
Let's listening to the call. Wethought we were getting it, but
two flags. Back judge and theline judge both throwing on that play,
and it looked like North maybe recognizesomething. Defense number five fifteen yard refall
first down. And interesting, again, that's a difference in high school football.
It's automatic fifteen yards, not aspot foul like it is under fifteen
(01:13:28):
yards in college and of course obviouslyin the NFL as well. So you
get a whole fifteen yards up tothe twenties eight yard line and an autumn
first down, and with one thirtyeight left to play in the second quarter,
all of a sudden, a littlebit of breathing space and now a
little bit of room to go downfieldhere. Yeah, if you're oh clarin
North. You'll take that any kindof MISQ that can help you help bring
your team to an extra first down, especially with such little time remaining.
(01:13:50):
One receiver to the left, threeout to the right here, and there's
some early movement. That was thetight end Bradley Jentz or Brady Jentsen rather
who moved and so now five yardsback here for Oaklare North. They initial
occasional Yeah, Jensen, you cansee you got a little bit jittery there.
I think the route might have beenfor him on this one five by
yard penalty first go. He saidit was number five. I believe it
(01:14:13):
was Jensen, though number nine whowas the man who jumped early? And
uh and U. When the officialsdon't aren't used to wearing those microphones out
there, we get to we geta little inside info nonetheless from those guys.
Some fun height hot Mike moo,Yeah, first and fifteen now here
for Oaklaire North. As they retreatback to their own twenty three. So
(01:14:35):
one thirty seven left to go.Second quarter, Cardinals seventeen Oaklare North seven.
They're bringing the blitz picked up thoughinitially McCrackan then steps up. He's
wrapped up and he's dropped back insidethe fifteen. They'll give him four progress
of the sixteen, maybe the seventeen, but a sack on the play and
once again the Husky is getting intothe backfield. I believe Jackson Martin was
(01:14:56):
the man who made that sack.Yeah, and that was a great job
by Jack and Martin. Two kindof bulrush through the guard who just was
not expecting Jack was not expecting Martinto be so powerful to coming in.
He's kind of like, ah,he's not the biggest guy. He's sitting
there at like five eleven one eightyfive, so not like the biggest mass
wise, but he really can geta power in kind of a small but
(01:15:19):
mighty type of vibe with him.One receiver left, two to the right,
here now, second and forever secondto twenty one officially for oak Clare
north back of their own seventeen yardline. They'll take the snap handed off
left side to Olson trying to bounceit out on the edge, wrapped up
at about the line of scrimmage andnot much more Mighty even lost one out
on the edge. Chipware really containingthat well. They want to time out
(01:15:41):
do the Cardinals. They're a littleupset that the officials didn't give it to
him earlier. Thirty seven seconds remaininghere in this second quarter, with third
and long coming up for oak ClareNorth on third and twenty one, in
fact, seventeen to seven Cardinals, with the lead here on the Huskies and
just not much going there with thecam Olson run, they're gonna expect him
(01:16:02):
to run out the clock here,so I wouldn't expect much else rather than
a run or just maybe a shortpass to see if they can get something
going. Maybe if they could getanother miracle play. We saw something with
a screen pass earlier with Jackson Bowlandgo to distance after what should have been
just a small game. So we'llsee what oak Claire North has drawn up
(01:16:26):
for this this third and twenty twoplay well special. Thanks y'all our sponsors
this season here on Classic Rock ninetytwo one, fwm Q Mcdominie o Clare,
Chip, Will Falls Rock nine twoone dot com and iHeart Radio.
That includes some of our title sponsorsin York Stram Metal Roofing, Auto King
and Where's Gala Plumbing and Heating excuseme, oak Clare Express Baseball as well
(01:16:47):
as Muldoon's Men's Wear courtisy Ato andTruck Center and Provisions Health, all great
sponsors of high school football. Hereon Classic Rock ninety two. One one
receiver left one right here for Northand again it looks like we could see
an Olsen handoff. Chip will kindof loading the box. Instead, it'll
be a run here and again thisis shipment into the game around the edge
(01:17:08):
of the twenty five to the thirties, pushing four and across the thirty five,
and that makes things really interesting nowhere for North, he did get
out of bounds up near the thirtysix, and this is gonna bring up
what fourth and about two now andwith twenty nine seconds. It's an interesting
decision, right. There are somehigh school teams that may go for it,
even on their own side of thefifty year. But I'd imagine what
(01:17:30):
chipwa kind of itching at the bit. This might be all look at this.
They're sending out mccrack in here,Dan, they Chip, or at
least North has some thoughts about goingfor this, and it could be just
to try and draw them off sidestoo. That's something to watch for.
However, it would be really coolto see them try a trick play here,
especially with everything they've kind of setup. They need the thirty eights
(01:17:54):
fourth and two from their own thirtysix yard line, one receiver left,
two to the right. Yeah, there is the hard count that you saw
now ten seconds left in the playclock, another hard account, a whistle
in a time out. North hada couple time outs to burn, So
maybe just wanted to see what thesetup was. As you said, drama
off side. My assumption is you'regoing to see the punt unit come out
now here on fourth and two forthe Huskies. They didn't want to give
(01:18:15):
up any late scores here late inthe half, twenty nine seconds remaining and
it's seventeen to seven Cardinals with thelead here on North. You know,
Cardinals went up what seventeen to nothingin this game, Dan, and they
were up seventeen to nothing with fiveto twenty eight left to play in the
first quarter. So for I meanNorth, nice bounce back. They got
(01:18:35):
that touchdown. They've stopped Chipwa fromgetting any more scores in this they've kind
of quelled the momentum. I mean, to be only down by ten at
halftime with the way this game started, they'd have to feel pretty good.
That's why they're punting this away andnow a whistle here on the snap,
and I don't see any flags onthe field. They just didn't like the
(01:18:56):
snap. Okay, either that orit might have been at some time issue,
but I'm not sure. Maybe theplay clock haven't started yet, the
official hadn't blown, is whistled toresume play. So here we go,
punt unit, punt formation out there. This is a end over end wobbler
towards the sideline. They don't evenwant to give a return here or it'll
go out of bounds. I thinkthey're gonna mark this near the forty.
(01:19:19):
It looks like the thirty nine yardline is where the little market twenty five
seconds remaining here in the second quarter, so their own thirty nine is where
Chippawa takes over. And I don'tblame them for kicking them out bounds.
They've given up probably the most yardson just returns alone, especially kick returns,
and it's definitely punt returns, sothey probably want to limit and make
(01:19:40):
sure that there's no touchdowns to begetting to be given here on this last
couple twenty five seconds of the firsthalf. Yeah, the end of this
first half is been very slow moving. We've seen a lot of possessions again,
trying to stop the clock to seeif you get something going. Nothing
going, and a lot of stoppagesfor time outs and completions and so on.
Trips receivers right one left here forChip will and twenty five seconds remaining
(01:20:02):
in the first half, leading byten, They're gonna try to pass here.
Von Hayden rolls to his right, throws so the sideline catch made.
I think he stayed in bound. So yea at the forty five yard line.
Sure enough, that catch made outthere on the edge by Smith.
Chip will not content to burn theirlast time out now they will chuck rakobitch
will call it. Officials are rightover there waiting for him to call it.
He calls it with twelve seconds remainingin the half. And you wonder,
(01:20:26):
Danna if they're maybe just trying toget close enough so that they can
let von Hayden so launch onto theend zone and see what happens. That's
what I'm thinking too. And alsothey just I'm just kind of confused why
they didn't call it time out rightaway. I don't know if they were
trying to like maybe get up ontothe line because we've seen them come up
to the line quite a bit reallyquick, just kind of the no huddle,
(01:20:46):
just run up to the line andgo. But they just kind of
diddled around a bit and kind oflet the time tick by, and then
finally they burned the time out.But twelve seconds doesn't really give you a
lot of time. You'd have toget up to the fifty to maybe even
have a chance at like even ahail Mary type of pass. I mean
you think maybe like a hook andladder, you could do something kind of
you know, cheeky downfield in termsof a trick play. But we'll see
(01:21:12):
if Chipua has anything in the bagof tricks here. And you do have
a head coach, he's been coachingfor fifty years, so he's seen it
all. He has I'm sure plentyof those in the bag. Second and
three from their own forty six herewith twelve seconds remaining. Second and three
and it's a handoff to LeMay Lamylooks like he wants to pass this one
downfield. He'll lodge it up onthe near sideline. It's up and batted
(01:21:32):
away, really good defense. Lamytook a hit on that play as well,
behind the play from Taylor Frederick downfield. It was batted away by North,
Maddox Girtz and a five seconds remaininghere for Chippua and a ten point
lead. And I would think,if that's your trick play you're running,
this is likely going to be justa kneel down and you'd take it to
(01:21:56):
the halftime locker room. But we'llsee they get maybe one more one more
something in the bag. Oh yeah. And Lamy didn't really sell that touchdown
pass or well the pass very well. He kind of just he looked like
he was gonna throw it from thestart, so they kind of read that
very well. In Old Claire,North's defense, trips receivers to the right
ball at their own forty six yardline, third down, five seconds remain,
(01:22:17):
back to pass. Here goes vonHayden, trying to buy some time,
rolling right. He's gonna run withit now to the fifty to the
forty five. Forty now near side, looking for some space, bouncing it
out to the thirty five at thethirty heat sheds. A defender takes a
big hit across the twenty five, out of bounds at the twenty three,
no flags on the field and thatis the way the first half will end,
(01:22:39):
some big hits, some freight tempersand so on. But as Dana
is again as we end up ourcoverage chair, the first half for me,
Chipwall falls getting out to a seventeennothing lead, would just over six
minutes into the game for North tobe down seventeen to seven and to kind
of quell the momentum to score oneof their own touchdowns keep Chipwall out of
the scoring distance and the end zonethroughout the rest of the half. It
(01:23:01):
seems like North kind of has thingsgoing a little bit more on their direction
at the moment. Oh yeah,I would say momentums on their side right
now. Let's see what they cando out of the break. Though,
definitely loved how they not really howthey ended it, especially with that last
drive where they kind of just seemedlike they were just going backwards the entire
time. But that drive that theyscored on, they had some really great
(01:23:24):
just small runs, kept great onthe outside, and especially with passing,
they kind of had some short, little passes that got a little bit of
distance, not too much, butjust a small, methodical drive to the
end zone. And that's what they'regonna need. To do in the second
half. Two So again a goodhalf for both teams. Seventeen to seven,
(01:23:46):
Chipwa with the lead on the Huskies. We go to our halftime break,
Chipwa with the lead. We'll havescores plenty more coming up in just
a little bit and the second halfright after this here on Classic Rock ninety
two one second half as well.North will kick off to start the half.
Chippewa will receive and North will movefrom right to left, Chippwa from
(01:24:08):
left to right. Here in halfnumber apartment. In quarter number two,
Carter Bothie and Jackson Boland are backto return the kick. Silberg will kick
this one off. Here we gofor the second half. Downfield, it
goes and right in the middle ofthe hash marks. It will be bowling
to take it at about the eightyard Line's got a big lane out here
to the twenty five. Bounces outstiff arms are defender at the thirty five
(01:24:28):
to the forty to the forty five. Taken down from behind near the fifty
yard line. Big stiff arm backnear the thirty yard line gets them out
to the forty nine. Another bigreturn of almost I will call it forty
yards and a first down. Ingood territory here for Chipwa and these returners,
whether it's punter returning or kick returning, have been absolutely dangerous. They've
(01:24:48):
been almost the main starts of offensefor this Chai High team, who've kind
of gotten a little stagnant since thatfirst score of theirs just really need if
you're O Claire North, you needto contain that a lot better. They're
just kind of letting them just runloose, especially with a kick return and
punt return. So once again VanHayden will go in the shotgun formation to
(01:25:12):
give us up the middle to leMay. He's got a couple into North
territory, but just to the fortynine yard line, kind of taken down
from behind Jackson LeMay Well, helooks like he's got some areas to run
and all of a sudden, theNorth defensive line gets up to him,
makes those tackles. I mean,we've seen Penneger and Putnick who's in on
that tackle, will really do anice job closing down on his runs.
(01:25:32):
And that's just some great communication bythat D line as well. There you
can see they're all chatting and talkingto one another, figuring out where their
assignments is finding out which angle isthe best. If they see something they
don't like, they call an honorableand move around a bit. As you
can see from a number seventy sixwho's kind of made a name for himself
tonight, he's really been all overthe place. He gets a carry up
(01:25:53):
the middle, nothing doing he hasmet at the line of scrimmage by number
seventy six, Bryce Heinbuck and NoahPenneger. No gain on the play third
and eight coming up. They've gotthat three men from me. You'll look
at it. Peneger six three twoforty You've got Hinbuck in there at five
eleven, three hundred pounds, andthen you've also got Rashaun Putnik at six
(01:26:15):
four, two hundred and fifty pounds. That's a pretty big defensive line front
three for this North squad, andyou can tell they're overpowering this offensive line.
It's kind of why they're going upin this quick offense, trying to
catch them off, trying to catchthem out of sync. Here three receivers
left, one right, third andeight from the North forty nine yard line.
Little pop pass out to the leftside caught at the forty nine.
(01:26:35):
Not much else we'll get to theforty seven, maybe the forty six.
Hebert on the play out there,he bar excuse me on that play,
nothing doing really and it's fourth inabout six here for Chip will at ten
twenty two left to go third quarter. Chip was seventeen husky seven punt unit
out for the Cardinals. And thisis just another case another great return set
(01:26:57):
up by the special teams to getthem in short field at fields situation,
but the offense just can't take advantagefashion Bower standing at his own forty one
yard line to punt back to returnis Gertz standing at his own eighteen yard
line on fourth and six. It'sa short snap. They go for the
run here and they're gonna get itto the forty five forty big run to
the thirty five thirty blockers down fieldand across the twenty and in the right
(01:27:19):
at the twenty yard line. Takendown Wesley Tanzer on the fake punt and
Shipwa is in business. There isa cardinal down on the play link.
Brennan Crawford is the man who isinjured. They wanted him tended to really
quickly. They're calling for the trainers. Hopefully nothing too serious. But that
looks like it could be a big, really a difficult injury potentially here all
(01:27:44):
the weight of the twenty yard lineon that run. What a What a
fake punt? What a decision,And just like that, the Cardinals are
in the red zone. Yeah,I'm hoping he's doing very well. He
seems to be doing He seems tobe getting a little bit there on the
sideline while the trainers come to him. But that that punt, that fake
punt was executed so great. Justanother great job by the special teams to
(01:28:10):
pick up some extra yards and especiallythere with that, a perfectly executed play.
All the linemen got to their correctangles and were able to block that
in such a way that sealed offany kind of edge containment and just let
mister number five, Wesley Tanser runwild. Yeah, Tanser the twenty six
yard run to convert it. Andthis is a good Brennan Crawford walking off
(01:28:32):
under his own power. The littlebit of a limp one of the defensive
backs who was out to block onthat play. I mean, you talked
about it, Dan, that playaround the edge. I mean there was
about two Huskies who had a chanceto make the tackle and the edge blocking
was there. I'm sure North andI didn't see from the sideline. If
there was a big shout for it. I'm sure they would have loved to
holding penalty there on the edge.It was on the borderline, certainly because
(01:28:55):
there was a couple of guys Ithought had a chance and all of a
sudden felt like they were unable tomake the play. And there could have
been a little handful of jersey. But in the end it ends up being
a twenty six yard run and afirst down here for Chipwa on the fake
punt to the Oa Claire North twentyyard line, seventeen to seven. Chip
will with the lead. The clockruns with ten oh eight left to go
here in the third quarter. AboutHayden and the shotgun pistol formation. He's
(01:29:17):
got Lama behind him. He willfake the hand up. He swings it
out left side, catch made onthe left edge up near the fifteen yard
line. Another stiff arm to theten, still turning his feet to the
five, pill fumble the ball intothe end zone and North hasn't this,
She'll be a touch back. Therun was Preston Alger on the little pop
pass out there and that is atouchback. And North does eventually get the
(01:29:41):
ball back, they'll get it attheir own twenty yard line, and I
guess the fake punt ends up beingbasically a punt here for Chippawa on the
turnover. What a big play.Oh yeah, And you hate to see
that if you're Preston alger He gotoff on the after he fumbled that he
got off onto the sideline and threwhis helmet down. He is not happy
with himself on that one. Thatwas a perfect play design too. He
(01:30:01):
just got a little bit a littlebit greedy on that one, trying to
go it for it all, whichhe was close. But once you're towards
that, you need to be securewith it. You can't just be throwing
the ball around. Coach is gonnahave a lot of words to say for
alge Er there, But a greatjob by Oaklare North to not give up
on the play. They fought andmade sure that he wasn't just gonna go
(01:30:23):
walk in for a touchdown. Theystill have some fight in them, I
certainly do. I do believe itis Shipman to start this half here at
quarterback for North. They'll handoff toOlsen up the gut he was gonna get
and fight for three. Who wasbeing ankle tackled there, I believe by
Brandon hot Hegman. He'll get threeup to the twenty three yard line.
It'll be second and seven here forNorth. You go back to the alger
(01:30:45):
with that reach toward the end zone. I mean, very eerily similar to
what Justin Jefferson did at the endof the half last night for the Vikings
against Philly. Again just trying forthat extra yard, maybe thinking he could
get a touchdown. All of asudden you fumble it into the end zone.
It's a touchback, turned the ballover the other squad, and now
it's a momentum here for oh ClaireNorth. Two receivers left, one right,
North down by ten. They'll giveit up the middle to Olson.
(01:31:08):
Hits the line, but not muchelse. He'll get to the twenty five
before he hits a wall of whitejerseys and be pushed back there. So
third and five coming up here foroh Claire North. Jackson Martin In on
the stop and now needing one ofthe better plays you got in the book.
With eight fifty three left here inthe third quarter, Ship was seventeen
(01:31:29):
oh Claire North seven and again Shipmanin a quarterback with McCracken sort of dealing
with an injury here throughout this game. Yeah, and that interior for that
Chai High team really stepping it uphere, not letting cam Olson get any
big runs off. You still havea chance, it's only third and five.
If you can get either a shortpass or maybe at a cam Olson
run, we'll see what you canpick up. Try for the hard count
(01:31:51):
now shipping back to pass throws overthe middle that's deflected incomplete. There was
contact, but on the deflection there'llbe no pass interference. The deflection came
and through the hands of Brent Christa. He was a man who actually had
a chance to pick that ball off. So they we're trying to find Soliberg.
Solberg, like we said, wantedthe flag, but because of that
deflection, there won't be one.And now a punt unit back out here
(01:32:12):
for Oaklare North. Yeah, andhe kind of snuck up on that ball.
I didn't even see him right away. I looked down, I look
up and there he was just justright there, mister mister on the spot
for the ball. But another greatjob by this Chai Hi defense kind of
getting around trying to get McCracken tobreak a little bit. Not a great
snap, but he will get atthe end over end punt Bob, he
(01:32:33):
calls for the fair catch, goesdown to a need to make it at
his own forty eight yard line. Not a great punt there, just about
twenty seven yards. We'll call iton the punt, and once again Chip
was played the field position game prettydarn well here to start this half.
After that great kickoff return, anddespite giving up the ball on that fumble,
(01:32:53):
they've got it back with pretty goodfield position, haven't given up any
points. It's still seventeen to seven. Chipwa. Yeah, it's great.
That's a great way to actually makeup for that lost yardage, especially on
that fumble in the end zone. You love to see that if you're a
Chip Chipwa fan. The North possessionsin this game again, they've got that
touchdown, but every other possession outsideof that pick six has been a punt
(01:33:17):
for this squad. There's a handoffup the gut again to press an alger
and he will be stopped after again of one to the forty nine at
middle of the line, once againmaking a good push up front, and
it's second to nine. And Iwill say this, eau Claire North,
the defense has done a great jobwith limiting LeMay. It seems like they've
almost pushed LeMay into a kind ofdistraction role here on this Chai Hi offense
(01:33:44):
and Lamy lines up to the rightof Van Hayden offset tight end. There
is Alger on the right side. They will give it to LeMay again bouncing
out left. He got held upat the line. Now he churns his
feet across the fifty, churns itout for at least a decent positive gain
up into the North plus territory thereat the forty seven yard line. So
let's spring up third and five. That was a play that North probably should
(01:34:05):
have had wrapped up in the backfield. He ends up turning the legs for
four yards. Oh yeah, AndI can't remember who it was. It
might have been eighty nine or itmight have been ninety nine. Penneger on
that he had him completely wrapped up, but LeMay, with a strong legs,
just kept pushing the pile and gotit like at least three extra yards
there. They need the forty twofor a first down. Third and five
(01:34:27):
little pitch here they're trying to getaround the edge on the run from Bowland
and he has stopped in the backfield. It'll be a loss back of the
forty nine yard line. Once again, North coming up with a big stop
Taylor Frederick the linebacker in flexes forthe crowd and another stop and Chip was
gonna have to punt again with sixfifty left to go on the third And
while that Oak Claire North defense hadit contained pretty well, I felt Boland
(01:34:50):
probably shouldn't have tried to make thatcut there. He could have maybe gotten
a few extra yards if he wouldhave just kept running along that sideline.
But it comes to punt four Nationhere for Chipwa. This is a shank.
This is not going far at all, nor trying to get away from
it. Takes the Chipwa apartment inNorth bounce rather at the thirty back to
the thirty three yard line, andthat is just a sixteen yard punch that
(01:35:13):
time. And we have not seena lot of shanks there from fashion Berger
Bauer rather in this game. Thatis his first and so North gets some
pretty good field position after the secondpunt of this half already, and we're
not even six minutes into it.Yeah, it seemed like he was trying
to kick it higher, but hedidn't get any distance on it. He
kind of kicked it straight up inthe air. It just it was It
(01:35:35):
was an interesting idea. I'll saythe least you're a positive guy. Yeah,
you're trying to put the positive spinon it, which I like.
Two receivers to the right, oneto the left as a fake a handoff
to Olsen. This is a keeperup the middle here for Shipman to the
thirty five, maybe the thirty sixbefore he is pushed backwards by Braden Hegman
and company. Looked like Noah Solowas in on the him, but Solo
(01:36:00):
was in on the play as well. Man. It will be second and
seven here for North six ten leftto go. Third quarter, Chip was
seventeen oaklare North seven. No scoresin this second half, Ack, we
haven't had a score in this gamesince the five twenty eight mark of the
second quarter. Defenses have stood uppretty well here as this game has progressed.
Two receivers right, one left.Is somebody gonna step up for North?
(01:36:23):
Will it be Cam Olson? We'llsee if he gets the handoff here
from shipment. He does not shipmenback to pass rows it over the middle,
that is up for his tight end. It's caught across the fifty and
up at the forty five yard line, and there he is the man you
wanted to get more involved. BradyJensen over the middle to the forty five
yard line pickup of nineteen in thefirst down, and Jensen actually coming off
that a little hobble to kind oflike half limp back to the line.
(01:36:46):
There another note for that injury.McCracken has his helmet off. I don't
know if he'll actually come back intothe game. You never see a player
with their helmet off unless they're neverunless they're not coming back. In the
beginning, again, he's got thepad on, he's got his hands on
his hips. He's standing right nextto the offensive coaches. So he feel
like he kind of wants to getback in there now. Once agains shipman
gonna run out left, gets anice seal block there from Olson to the
(01:37:09):
forty tiptoe on the sideline. Didn'tgo out of bounds until about the thirty
yard line. Let's see where theymark him the thirty one, maybe the
thirty two. That's a fourteen yardgain in the first down and a great
seal block by Cam Olson who's runningback, to get him around that edge.
Oh yeah, definitely. And alsogreat awareness by Shipman to just keep
running through and the intensity by theway too, he really wanted that first
(01:37:31):
down when he was running heat.He bowled over some guys. Five fifteen
remains here in the third quarter, seventeen to seven Cardinals with the lead on
North, but North moving the ballpretty well here on this drive. As
we get into the late moments ofthe third quarter, two receivers go out
right, one left ball near Hashright to left goes the husky Shipman in
the shotgun. He will give itto Olson. He bounces out right,
(01:37:53):
he's got a whole across the thirtyand lunges four to about the twenty six
yard line. A gain of fiveon the play taken down by Tanzer on
it and it will be second andfive here for Chipwa And I need to
give a shout out to that OhClaire North offensive line. They gave him
a big hole for that. Unfortunatelythe lineback Unfortunately for Oa Claire North,
(01:38:15):
the linebackers closed up on that reallyquickly and Cam wasn't able to really shake
through three guys, because you knowwe've seen Cam go through some guys,
but three linebackers is a bit much. Wagner in on that tackle as well.
Two receivers right, one left, ball in your hash, right to
left they go. They'll send areceiver in motion. That's Johnson closer to
the line. Second and five herefor the Huskies at the Chipwa twenty six.
(01:38:39):
Back to past Shipman, he's gotat least a decent pocket. There
was a hole though. It lookslike now he'll get rid of it or
will you know that's a fumble fumbleand Chippewa has it. I think Shipman
thought he might have been down there. I'm not sure what he was trying
to do. He just needed tothrow that ball away and on the way
down he lost the handle on it. The officials call it a fumble.
This will be Chipwa ball. They'lldecline a penalty and that is a big
(01:39:00):
turnover in this situation. And youhear the call there from our head official
and penalty declined. Shipman just needsto get rid of that ball. Live,
especially when you see the holding penalty. Just live to fight another day
and Unfortunately he uh exacerbates the problema bit there on that fumble. Yeah,
(01:39:21):
and that just kind of shows theinexperience of Shipman too, only a
sophomore kind of getting like his firststart, first real start. Here is
like a kind of quarterback running backmix. They've been throwing a few things
there. He finally gets another chanceto drop back and throw after the great
completion the Brady Jensen and just couldnot seem to make up his mind about
(01:39:43):
where he wanted to go. Andhe looked really confused out there. Some
indecision there, and yeah, Imean he had all that time to throw
as he rolled out and he wantsto make a play obviously down ten,
but sometimes you got to throw itaway, and that was a case and
just didn't do it early enough. So this is von Hayden looking to pass,
goes left, catch, made itross the forty a lunch shortly down
marker, but he went out ofbounds there, did the receiver. And
(01:40:04):
I believe that was z He bearabout an eight yard gain to the forty
five yard line, and I'll besecond and short, and if you're Chai
Hi, you want to see somemore of that that's been where they've kind
of gone mostly the yard it's hereon offense well other than special teams,
of course, but the short passinggame has been working very well for them.
(01:40:25):
Not as much running here. Inverteddouble wing for von Hayden here,
he'll go under center second and eight. He will give it on the counter
play and there is not much thereto LeMay and again it feels like you're
almost watching an Oaklear regis with thegame with that inverted double wing. Will
counter there on the left wing, handoff to LeMay. He gets a yard
(01:40:45):
to the forty six yard line.Third and one chip was seventeen oaklere nor
seven three fifty left to go.Third quarter, and it'll be interesting to
see if they run it here. They haven't been very successful with the runs
other than some counters that have beenable to draw them to kind of go
a little offset. But we'll seewhat they do here. Is that inverted
double wing again. They'll give itto Lamy student body right trying to get
(01:41:06):
around the edge. He's got itto the fifty to the forty five as
Amnem downfield will go out of bounds. Pushed out of bounds at about the
thirty four yard line. Pushing himout of bounds. There was tie shot,
but not before a big gain upto the thirty four of North at
the first down, and oh ClaireNorth not able to contain like we've seen
(01:41:26):
them do in past games. Here, they're just kind of letting them go
around, especially especially with how greatthe block he's been for Chai Hi.
They've really outdone themselves here. Andwe know coach Rakovich been around for a
long time, but it does looklike he's pulling something right out of the
Bryant Brenner playbook here with that inverteddouble wing. Now they'll go back to
the spread. Two receivers left toright for von Hayden and the shotgun here
(01:41:47):
in the near hash Mark fakes thehandoff pumps left now looks over the middle
of throws. The ball is caughtby LeMay right near the line of scrimmage,
and then he is gang tackled couldstop on the play initially there by,
Frederick got a little help from hislinebackers as well. I think that
was Devin Andrew who came in tofinish it off. No gain on the
catch Lama at the thirty four secondand ten and just they had an open
(01:42:15):
number fifteen. Sam hemmert there hehad that he had a little bit more
yards there. But I think thatplay was kind of drawn up for Lamay,
to be honest, because he waslooking almost completely at Lamy like he
saw him for a second, butjust decided not to give it up.
Von Hayden gives it to Lama hereon a run right up the gut.
He'll get to the thirty yard line, gain of four on the play,
(01:42:38):
tackled by ray Sean Putnick, andnow seventeen to seven Cardinals with the lead
in a third and six from thenorth thirty yard line, two thirty left
to play here in the third quarter, and well, they do have a
pretty good field goal kicker here,Dan, I'd imagine right around the thirty
yard line that still might be gofor it territory if they don't pick up
the first down, especially with sucha law a large lead right now,
(01:43:00):
inverted double wing again and a littlebit of a jump didn't get offside though,
they'll give it on an end aroundhere to Xander Kneel on the edge.
He's got the edge, so thetwenty down the sideline he goes inside
the ten yard line, he ispushed out of bounds officially at the eleven
is worthy. Officials will get him, but a big game there nineteen yards
on the handoff to Neil this time, and it's a first and ten in
(01:43:24):
the red zone here for the Cardinalswith two o nine left to go in
the third, and when they havebeen running the football, that's been their
best move is going outside, notgoing inside like we've been seeing here up
to the line, quickly hand offto the tailback and then inverted double wing,
and that this time is Devin Bush. He'll get a couple. In
fact, we'll get a decent pushthere at the end up to the six
yard line before he's finally taken downfive yards on the play, and they're
(01:43:46):
just trying to catch North on theback foot a little bit momentum going forward.
North really can't get the defense setone fifty left to go in the
third, Chipwao in a situation wherethey could go up by three scores.
Yeah, they're being very quickly outthere utilizing their skill players, which is
not something we've been seeing these lastfew drives. Inverted double wing, they'll
hand it off in the corner onceagain to nil breaks the tackle at the
(01:44:10):
three and he's in for the touchdown. Xander kneel in for the score from
six yards out with one thirty threeleft to go. Third quarter, it's
Chipwa twenty three. Oh Clare Northseven. Just not a great job again,
not really recognizing that they were goingwith that counter there. The linebackers
(01:44:30):
kind of got mixed up with oneanother and they couldn't really decide which kind
of hole to take, which anglethey wanted to go through, and instead
of lead for a great shy hightouchdown, hashing Bauer with the extra point
attempt. It's good twenty four toseven, the lead for Chipwa one thirty
three left and the third quarterback rightafter this Classic Rock two on This is
(01:44:51):

(01:45:39):
we get near the end of thethird quarter here Chipwall goes up twenty four
to seven with that touchdown run,six yard touchdown run from Neil and the
Cardinals finally strike first here in thissecond half and put North now with their
backs up against it, down bythree scores to the Cardinals, who look
at the out of town scoreboard broughtto you by Otto King. Some games
late reaches with the sixteen to fourteenlead right now on Fall Creek with only
(01:46:02):
two forty three left in that game. Hudson leading thirty three to twenty two
against Menominee River falls up twenty eightto thirteen against Memorial New Richmond one earlier
tonight forty eight to eight that gameover against Superior, and Nielsville is still
leading, but eighteen to sixteen inthe fourth quarter against Mondovie. We got
some close ones here tonight around thearea. As this ball is going out
(01:46:25):
of bounds, that'll be a kickoffout of bounds. A mistake once again
by the special teams. I mean, for all the great special teams plays
that Chip was made. They've madea couple of rough ones in the kicking
game as well. Unfortunately for North, they m maying able to take advantage
of it yet now and let's seeif maybe this will start some momentum here
for them they kind of needed. They've looked really flat since that, since
the start of that first quarter ora second quarter. So kick out,
(01:46:49):
a kick out of bounds, andthe officials are getting together to make sure
that North wants the ball at thethirty five yard line, which is where
they will get it, and offwe go. So Chipwa with a sixty
three yard drive there. Now North, we'll have it at their own thirty
five yard line. So it's it'snow or never. You're fora clare.
(01:47:11):
North with one thirty three left inthe third quarter, they're running out of
time, down by seventeen. Onceagain, it says once again Shipman in
the shotgun formation. He wants torun with it around the left edge,
breaks a couple of tackles. Staysonbounds at the forty up to the forty
five, took a big hit atthe forty six. Well, Shipman doesn't
shy away from the contact, that'sfor sure. Eleven yard game, first
(01:47:32):
down, I looked like it wasgonna be a no gainer, and Shipman
hung in there and gets eleven yards. No, now, you're typical quarterback.
He's the type of guy that's gonnarun through and bowl over anyone in
his way. Definitely a running backquarterback hybrid there with Shipman, probably another
reason why they want to see himin this game. He's been getting some
chunk yards other than that fumble hehad earlier, two receivers right, one
(01:47:53):
to the left ear ship for Shipmanin the quarterback spot, mccracking out at
the moment, standing on the sideline, give this to Olsen here countering left
to right on the left side ofthe line. I'll get across the forty
five and up to the forty eightyard line for a gain of two on
the play, and it's second andeight forty seconds remain here in the third
quarter at chip with twenty four northseven. He almost reminds you a little
(01:48:15):
bit Dan of you know the oldTebow years right where Tim Tebow would just
kind of take that snap and hejust run with it, right. I
mean, he kind of was thatsort of as you as you said,
hybrid quarterback running back. He's alittle extra weight on him right, he
can kind of run there. Imean he's not a huge dude, but
six foot one seventy just bowling oversome guys. He definitely acts like a
huge dude with that mindset. Onereceiver left, two to the right,
(01:48:40):
second and eight he is back topass this time looks left the entire way.
That ball is tipped and incomplete, and a good job there zone coverage
back to get that was the linebackerto make that play, Isaiah Bonan,
the senior, He was the onewho deflected it trying to get that one
to Johnson. But boy, theyhad white jerseys set up and not a
whole lot of pockets of space inthe passing game. No, definitely not.
(01:49:00):
And that's a great job by ChaiHi to recognize the pass there.
They were just almost all over him. They were all over the offense there,
especially not letting Shipman get anything reallyon that passing d Just great job
all around. Let's see if theycan continue this dominance that we've seen so
far throughout the second half. Theclock stopped on that incompletion, so seven
(01:49:24):
seconds remain here in the third quarter, CHIPWI twenty four north seven. They
will give it now on a reverseplay, Olsen pitches it out on the
right side here for Burns trying toget around the edge of the fifty and
he's ridden out of bounds into Chipwaterritory. About the forty eight yard line
being a gain of four and it'llbring up an interesting third down apartment are
interesting fourth down rather for North whenthey start the fourth quarter, which we
(01:49:46):
will have for you right after this. It's Chipwa twenty four Oh Claire nor

A couple of score updates on ourout of town scoreboard, brought you by
Otto King again. Twenty four toseven here chipwa with the lead on North
and a fourth and four coming upfor the Huskies to start off this fourth
(01:50:56):
quarter, Hudson getting an extra score. They now lead thirty nine to twenty
two over Menominee. They look tobe handing the Mustangs. They're first loss
of the season. Old Clare Memorialsmaking an interesting in River Falls. It's
twenty eight to twenty. River Fallsup twenty eight to thirteen against Memorial New
Richmond. On earlier tonight forty eightto eight that game over against Superior,
and Nielsville is still leading, buteighteen to sixteen in the fourth quarter against
(01:51:20):
Mondovie. We got some closed oneshere tonight around the area. As this
ball is going out of bounds, that'll be a kickoff out of bounds.
A mistake once again by the specialteams. I mean, for all the

So kick out, a kick outof bounds, and the officials are
getting together to make sure that Northwants the ball at the thirty five yard

So chipwa with a sixty three yarddrive there. Now North, we'll have
(01:52:06):
it at their own thirty five yardline. So it's it's now or never
here for au Claire North. Withone thirty three left in the third quarter,
they're running out of time, downby seventeen. Once again, he
says, once again, Shipman inthe shotgun formation. He wants to run
with it around the left edge, breaks a couple of tackles, season bounds
at the forty up to the fortyfive. Took a big hit at the
(01:52:26):
forty six. Well, Shipman doesn'tshy away from the contact, that's for

this time looks left the entire way. That bone is tipped and incomplete,
and a good job there zone coverageback to get that. Was the linebacker

continue this dominance that we've seen sofar throughout the second half. The clocks
stopped on that incompletion, so sevenseconds remain here in the third quarter Chipwi
twenty four north seven. They willgive it now on a reverse play,
Olson pitches it out on the rightside here for Burns trying to get around
the edge of the fifty and he'sridden out of bounds into Chipwa territory about
the forty eight yard line, beinga gain of four, and it'll bring
(01:54:41):
up an interesting third down apartment areinteresting fourth down rather for North when they
start the fourth quarter, which wewill have for you right after this.
It's Chipwi twenty four Oh Claire Norseventh fourth quarter coming up on Classic Rock.
This is Claire High School football onClassic Rock ninety two line. Let's
(01:55:02):
use a football metaphor in your home. You're the quarterback. Now, who
would you want in your front pineass fault? Noah, the fearsome form
rain, hail, wind and snowand blow right through an ass bhall line.
For real protection, you want beYorks frand Metal Roofie because hit after

Welcome back in here to Carson Park. A couple of score updates on
our out of town scoreboard brought toyou by Otto King again twenty four to
(01:55:49):
seven Here Chipwa with the lead onNorth and a fourth and four coming up
for the Huskies. To start offthis fourth quarter, Hudson getting an extra
score. They now lead thirty nineto twenty two over Manominee. They look
to be handing the Mustangs their firstloss of the season. Old Claire Memorials
making an interesting in River Falls. It's twenty eight to twenty one in the
fourth quarter, about eight minutes leftto go in that one. Nielsville leading
(01:56:12):
Mondovi again eighteen to sixteen, butthat one that game also having about eight
ten minutes left in that one aswell, So there's some time left across
all these games. The Regis andFall Creek game is nearing a finale.
In fact, it is a final. Regis holds on for a sixteen to
fourteen win over Fall Creek in aclose one. Now a whistle of time
out and boy out of a quarterbreak. Matt McGinnis's crew didn't know what
(01:56:35):
played a run on fourth and four. Well, that's again, when you're
down by three scores, you know, fourth quarter, you gotta have every
every advantage, including your three timeouts. And that is a that's got I
mean mental air or whatever you wantto call it, Dan, that is
that's rough. They just really haven'tbeen looking like themselves. If I'm being
honest, they had some sort ofintensity. Well they have, and they
(01:56:59):
have a new intene that I haven'tseen it all of this game. It's
almost like they Ken came into thisgame just expecting to walk into a Chipwa
Valley or falls win. They sawthe record and didn't think of much else
of them. Yeah, again,it just maybe a little bit of underestimation.
We saw a lot of energy fromJai Hi early. North responded pretty
well. I thought they looked likethe better team for you know, at
(01:57:20):
least a good chunk of that secondquarter. But again it was Chipwa who
got out to the early lead. And I mean that pick six that started
this game a big turning point rightaway just kind of set the tone for
what this game has been. Butnow a big fourth down a start of
the fourth quarter, fourth and fourthfrom the Chipwa forty eight yard line.
They need the forty four for afirst down, and this is Shipment in
(01:57:43):
the shotgun rolling out to his left, looking down field. Needs to find
somebody throws it over the middle. He ball is caught there should be I
mean either got to give a firstdown or a flag because the defender got
there early. On Brady Jensen. They're gonna give him. I mean,
it's close to first down yardage, but it shouldn't matter because the defender hit
him and he still held on forthe catch after once the ball got there,
(01:58:06):
and I mean Chipwood doesn't like it, but this is the right call.
Still waiting the officials here and herecomes the call. Pass your fears
step it now. I mean,I mean it's interesting, Dan, right
the way you could have officiated thatinstead of calling the penalty, you probably
(01:58:27):
could have just given Jensen the firstdown and no one would have said anything.
Instead, it ends up being fifteenyards and a big time gain here
for Old Claire North. They're gonnaget deeper into Chipwood territory down to the
thirty two yard line, and nowthey're in business, and let's see if
they can do something with that.Brady Jensen is a very volatile weapon.
You saw that right there. Hegot shoved and he still made that catch.
Strong hands, strong guy in general. Let's see if they get more
(01:58:51):
of this passing attack out there. That was a great throw by Shipman,
by the way, Yeah, rollingagainst his body out to the left like
that. He will go back topass again. Wants to launch this one
deep down the near side up andit is caught at the five yard line.
Finding out of the tackle to thefour yard line goes Travie and Johnson.
Boy, that was a jump ball. He said, my guys gonna
(01:59:13):
go catch it over yours, andthat is exactly what he did. One
on one motto a motto, andJohnson comes away with a win. It's
first and goal. Absolutely great adjustmentby Johnson. Not the best thrown ball,
but just high points it and bringsit down close to his body.
It looked like it could have gottenknocked away towards the end there, but
Johnson's strong hands makes it making agreat catch. And here they are set
(01:59:35):
up at the phone at the fiveyard line of Ti Hi. That great
body adjustment too. Chancer was theguy who was defending him. Now it's
Shipman gonna keep it here, tryingto get around the right edge. He
got a yard maybe two. We'llsee where they mark it again, going
to the short side of the fieldon the near hash mark. They've got
him to the three, so atwo yard game. Good job containing there,
But again Shipman's got a little bitof speed too, so he was
(01:59:58):
able to get a couple of yards. Definitely more of a mobile quarterback than
the cracking, whether that's because youwant to call him the hybrid running back
quarterback or whatever else. He hasa great arm too, just a sophomore,
and again he's played well here inreplacement of McCracken, who again injured.
Standing on the sideline right now, eleven ten left to go fourth,
fourth quarters, so a lot oftime left. Twenty four to seven.
(02:00:19):
Chipwove second and goal from the threeyard line of Chipway here for north Shipman.
We'll give it to Olsen right upthe gut, lowers his shoulder.
He's close down there the one yardline as he's brought down and a referea
actually got hit on that too bya falling defender. Tackle was made Colton
Pesca, and it's the one outthey're gonna market at the two yard line,
(02:00:44):
it looks like. So they're notas close as they like here on
third and gold clock ticking clock,a little bit of an enemy now too,
with ten forty four left to gohere on the fourth could just score
a quick one here and potentially getit back on defense really quickly. They
still have two timeouts after this lotsof time left, they can get a
couple of stops on defense. Andhe had a touchdown here and there's the
old push shipment from the back there. That's the old justin fields play or
(02:01:09):
apartment Jalen Hurts play from last nightand didn't quite get in. He's about
a half a yard short. That'swhere you get a couple of guys behind
you. You just push him inand try to push him in. But
Ship would in a nice job stoppinghim. Now. They've been great on
this this goal line stand here, just not allowing any not allowing first of
all, not allowing a touchdown.Second of all, not allowing any big
(02:01:31):
plays to get to the first down, kind of like winding them down.
And here we are, you know, on a fourth down play. This
is interesting because I mean it isstill a three score game in theory.
You need a field goal here, you know, I know you're close to
the end zone. But there's probablysome folks who might be screaming at the
radio saying just kick the field goal. Instead, they're gonna try to go
for it. Twenty four seven Shipwith nine forty four left to go here
(02:01:53):
in the fourth shipman in the shotguntakes that he runs up the middle to
the right, lunges to the endzone. Did he get their official coming
in? They did not. Ohmy goodness, he looked like he was
in. Who's the man who stoodhim up? It was a couple of
guys there. It looked like itwas Jack sweepel Over, the guy who
picks sixte early in this game, who might have been the guy to lay
the lumber on him? There? What a hit right at the goal line.
(02:02:15):
And the officials come in right awaysay the ball did not break the
plane and it's a turnover on downson the one inch line. Whoa no?
And it looked like it was gonnabe a touchdown. I was.
I was already looking at him like, oh yeah, he's got that touchdown
in his hands, because there wasnot. It was only Sweefelhof for there
to stop him. And wow,he stood him up at the goal line.
(02:02:36):
Now we have to see if OaklareNorth can potentially get a safety here
and maybe get the ball back. But if your Chai Hi, that's gotta
be a big momentum push and youwant to get this thing out of that
goal. And this is I meanright up against the goal line here,
they're gonna actually hand this one off. He did he get out, he
did, He got to the oneyard line. The handoff to Lamay up
(02:02:57):
the gut. Go North is sayingthat they have the ball right now.
I didn't think that was a greathandoff and exchange. Well May kind of
had it at his side, butthe officials did give him forward progress to
the for what about a length ofa ball or so. It's a second
down and LeMay's been kind of bobblingthat ball all game. I don't know
if he has some hard nerves outthere, if maybe he's got families or
(02:03:17):
something going on, but there's justhe's just not been able to grab a
stronghold of the ball. On Haydensends a man in motion, they'll give
it to Lamy. He's hit inthe backfield. It's a safety. He
is wrapped up in the backfield forUS safety. That was Taylor Frederick to
come in and make the stop.It is now twenty four to nine Cardinals
(02:03:39):
as LeMay is hit in the endzone and wrapped up for the safety.
Chipwa can't believe it again. Theywere going with that inverted double wing they
had it on on the left wing, and they tried to get him around
around the edge. But I meanthat play, I mean you're almost running
backwards to start Dan, and therewas really nothing there and when Frederick got
into the backfield, it was over. No, you do not call the
(02:03:59):
play. I know that's been workingfor them all throughout there, but that
was not the situation to be callingthat play since they were already backed up
at their own at the at theirown one yard line right there. You
just do not. You never haveyour own back in the backfield take the
ball. You usually either do asneak or right up the gut run.
You can never, never, nevercounter there because you give too much of
(02:04:25):
space and you give too much ofa chance for a safety. And what
do you know, Oaklare North getsa safety and cuts this thing down to
a two score lead. Indeed theydo again. We're passing a nine o'clock
hour here on Classic Rock ninety two, NFWM, Q MA, hominy O,
Claire, Chip will Falls Rock ninetwo one dot com, and of
course iHeart Radio the Football Friday Nightshow that will be after our show over
on Newstock WM and Q will bestarting in about twenty two minutes or so.
(02:04:49):
That's a statewide postgame show that youcan catch all the scores to reports
from all over the state. We'llhave one from this one. I think
we'll have a report from Fall Creekon that regious game as well and that
big win that they had sixteen tofourteen in that as well as a lot
coming up on that show. Makesure you tune in there. But we
got a little bit a little bitof ball left here. Eight fifty eight
left to go. Fourth quarter,Cardinals twenty four, Huskies nine. After
(02:05:12):
the safety that North records and sofree kick from their own twenty yard line.
Now, so I'll send fashion Bowerback to kick this one off.
North should get decent field position heredepending on where this kit goes. It's
again is Johnson along with Solber backto return this heads toward Johnson over at
the twenty six yard line. Prettygood kick to the thirty thirty five,
(02:05:34):
got a lot of blockers over tothe forty. Turns it up at the
fifty, head down on their sideline. He goes thirty to the twenty one.
Now to me to the ten. He's pushed out of alms here the
five yard line. No flags onthe field, and oh Claire North has
life. It's first and gold forthe Huskies with eight forty seven left to
go. And while that was anamazing return, an even better job by
(02:05:57):
Jackson Bowland to catch up to himand bounced towards the five by Chi Hi.
But wow, what a great jobby t. J. Johnson.
He absolutely turned on the Jets whenhe got around that corner. Kind of
some of the stuff we've seen fromthe kick return for Chai Hi two just
using their own medicine against are usingtheir own strategies against them here on that
kick return. Now, you knowyou get a touchdown extra point here.
(02:06:20):
It's just an eight point game,so you know it'll be interesting if they
do score. Do you go fortwo? Now? Do you wait to
go for two and another touchdown? That'll be something that they can decide.
But again, the backup quarterback nowand Zach Shipman is in. Now,
there is a whistle and a flaghere a legal substitution. Twelve men on
the field here for North. Countthem up one, two, three,
(02:06:42):
four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven
twelve. Yeah, sure enough. There are twelve guys out there, and
that will back up North five yardsto the twelve yard line, already starting
with a bad already starting with abad penalty right there. I count her
all the way up to twelve, all right, Hey, I like that
sports commentators can count too. Everyonce in a while we can do math.
(02:07:06):
One receiver left, one right, high snap. Shipman gets it.
He runs right to the ten, tiptoes a sideline near the five. I
think he got out of bounds aboutthe four of the three. He put
a foot down right around the fouryard line and just kind of angled his
body in bounds. And they'll makehim. They'll give him the four yard
line in an eight yard run.And now at his second and goal from
the fourth. So a good jobthere by Shipman to get back the penalty
(02:07:27):
yardagin More and showing why Shipman isalso dangerous too, is that running by
Shipman has been so volatile in thissecond half. Even though it hasn't resulted
in many points, he has beenone of their more dangerous rushers, right
next to Cam Olson. Obviously yougot Olson and the pistol here with him
in the shotgun. Shipman, witha hard count snap given Olson, bouncing
right toward the goal line, pushesforward. He is close official coming in
(02:07:51):
again saying he's just inches short andit will be third and goal from again
about the one foot line, ifyou will. Here for oau Claire North
down twenty four to nine to Chipwawith eight twenty four left to go here
in the fourth quarter, and theeau Claire North fans are not happy about
(02:08:11):
that one. They thought they werein but really close there by Olson good
running by him. He just powersright through everyone. It looked like he
should have been stopped for maybe aone yard game, maybe two yard game,
but he just kept powering through. And now they have it at the
exactly at the one yard line rightthere, strong side to the right.
Shipment goes under center here, he'llkeep it himself. Run up the middle.
(02:08:31):
Olson gives him a push from behind. He looks like he's in touchdown.
Husky's touchdowns sure enough, and itwas a point away from being a
one score game. Here was sevenfifty four left they go in the fourth
quarter, and Husky's making a comebackhere late. We'll call him the comeback
Husky's here. By the end ofthe season, they've had a few of
(02:08:52):
those here throughout the season. Aswe've discussed, definitely given some Oak Claire
North fans. Here's some heart attacksseeing all all these closed games and comebacks.
Wow, what a great job toget a good push by Cam and
it seems like they're substituting someone reallyquickly off the field here. Yes,
Noah Penneger who was in on thatplay. I wonder if they were thinking
(02:09:13):
about going for two and now theyare looks like gonna go for two.
They're a little bit of late gettingover. Chip was going to get a
chance to of course sub in.I haven't not seen the countdown yet,
but here it is, Oh,Clare North, he is going for two.
They knew that they would need togo for it at some point,
and now they're going to take atime out. It's tough to burn one
in this situation. But I dosay, Dan, if you are going
(02:09:35):
for two in this situation, youalmost have to make sure that it's the
right play, right situation. Youdon't want to burn a time out,
but you almost have to. Yeah. And the thing about that is there's
also seven minutes left on the clock, well almost full eight minutes left here
on the clock, so you havetime if you can get that two point
conversion here, and even if youdon't get the two point conversion here.
You still have enough time only downtwo scores right now. But if you
(02:09:58):
get this, and I expect,it's probably gonna be another run or maybe
even a slant right in the middle. They've been pretty good on slants so
far. But we'll just see whathappens here. It's just it's an interesting
thing, burning a second time out. You don't want to do it,
yeah, I mean, if you'regonna go to the past game, y'all
(02:10:18):
want to make it perfect. Yeah, you have to. Y'all must have
to imagine that it's gonna be gents. And now they're gonna go to the
extra point here, which is Imean interesting, the burning time out to
go to an extra point. Butagain, they want to make sure it
stays a one possession game. I'msure there's different schools of thought on this.
You could go for two now,or you could say, hey,
let's stay within a score and thengo for two in a much more pressure
packed, an exciting situation later.Extra point kick is up and it is
(02:10:41):
good. Twenty four to sixteen.Cardinals now lead the Huskies seven fifty four
left to go. Cardinals will goon offense after the kickoff, which we'll
have for your right after this. You're on Classic Rock. This is so
clear high school football on Classic Rockone. It's full furnace check in,
(02:11:01):
clean time, preventative maintenance on yourheating system is worth it. And whether
it's boilers, furnaces or heat pumps. Where's Gala Heating and Plumbing services most
makes and models. Whereas Gulla Heatingand Plumbing is provided quality, dependable service
to the Chippewa Valley and surrounding areasfor over a half century. Whereas Gala
will make sure your heating system isready for the cold ahead call or visit.
(02:11:24):
Whereas Gala dot Com again company.Your home for the Huskies is Classic
Rock ninety two one, Welcome backin here at two Carson Park, twenty
four to sixteen Cardinals with the leadon the Huskies is Chaihi at Oaklare North
and a good battle here tonight, seven fifty four left in the fourth quarter,
(02:11:46):
Pikats and Danzon's with you, Hey, Great job by Shansacabac in the
studio to feed us some scores forthe Auto out of Town Otto King Scoreboard.
A couple updates. Hudson now leadsforty six to twenty two over Menominee
in the fourth quarter. There andnow Oak Claire Memorial is within a point.
They missed an extra point, butit's twenty eight twenty seven. Riverfalls
leads over Memorial late in the fourthquarter. In that one. Nielsville also
(02:12:09):
up now twenty four to sixteen onMondovie. Good kickoff coming here. Return
will come from Bovie at about thefour yard line. Moves from the near
side of the far side mad massivehole up the middle of the thirty five.
He's got the kicker to beat downthe sideline. He might beat him
to the thirty to the twenty tothe ten five touchdown, and there might
not be a touchdown because he wastauning before he got into the end zone.
(02:12:33):
Bovy put up some kind of sign. I think you might have given
the peace sign on the way inand about the five yard line, and
this touchdown might not count because hedid it before he got into the end
zone. Should have been a Bovieninety eight yard touchdown return instead. Chipphua,
who's done quite a bit of trashtalking tonight on North, might have
(02:12:54):
just cost themselves. Let's hear whatthe call is unsportsmanlike conducts. We'll get
the official announcement over the PA.Now, again, he did this before
he got in the end zone,Dan, I believe in high school football,
they're not gonna count this touchdown.They're gonna say that's a I don't
think that's a spot file. Youdon't bring that all the way back to
the spot that it was caught,do you. I don't think so.
(02:13:15):
At least that would be really badfor them. Yeah, well that was
just you as a when Uh's backwent, oh yeah, let's hear it.
I was fortunate by conduct kickong numbersix play in the touchdown. They
are they are giving the touchdown here. I thought they might not because it
(02:13:37):
happened. I mean it, Dan, it happened before he got in the
end zone. He flashed the deuceis there at about the five yard liners
so to the man who was chasinghim down. I believe it was Solberg
who was trying to get to him. And now so when extra point coming,
they, as you're heard over thePA, they're gonna enforce this on
the kickoff, so it'll give Northsome good field position. But just like
(02:13:58):
that, we'll back up by twoscores. Extra point will come here from
Luke McIntyre. It's a bad snapthat rolls all the way back to the
twenty five and it will be downthere. So back to a fourteen point
game now, So now two pointconversions are not an issue, but North
is gonna need two touchdowns, whichis a tall task with seven thirty nine
left to play. All right,we'll be back right after this. On
(02:14:20):
Classic Rock ninety two one. Thisis so clear high school football on Classic
Rock ninety two one one final runcardboard you hole on Birch Street and Clare
(02:14:56):
your home for the Huskies is ClassicRock ninety two one. Welok back in
here at Carson Park. We havehad some fireworks in this fourth quar Yeah,
it's interesting again as Chip will leadsthirty to nineteen here over the Husky
seven thirty nine left to go.We had kind of a whole hume second
quarter. Most of the third quarterwas sort of defensive battle field position.
All of a sudden, this fourthquarter, we've had some scores, including
(02:15:18):
a ninety eight yard touchdown return fromCarter Bovey. Get call for in sportsmanlike
conduct, but they counted the touchdownand now they'll enforce it. Here on
the kickoff. This is getting wildnow. Absolutely, we were talking it
was like kind of a slow gametwenty four to seven, and suddenly Husky's
getting drive all the way down tothe goal line. Don't score, get
(02:15:39):
the safety, come back, scorethe touchdown. And then and then right
away when we thought oh Claire hadtheir had the momentum coming in, Chai
Hi comes up and it's like,no, we're gonna go and take this
ninety eight yard kickoff for a touchdown. I mean, you're almost at the
point with North with these kickoffs, with how great the returns has been for
Chipwa, you might kicking him outof bounds might be the big might be
(02:16:00):
the best option. Put him atthe thirty five and live to fight another
day, basically, but they nowneed two scores again. After that ninety
eight yard touchdown return. This isgonna be taken by Johnson about the twenty
five yard line, angles from thefar side of the near side. He's
got a laying across the fifty andtaken down at the chip with falls forty
seven. We'll see where they marrya forty eight yard line another big return
(02:16:24):
and of course the penalty hurting chipwith this time gives North a chance to
score relatively quickly. Keep the clockis not a big enemy here, and
then eventually get to a win scoregame and try to make a defensive stop.
Oh yeah, I don't know ifwe're ever gonna get there. Special
teams plays We'll just have to see. Honestly, these special teams plays have
been absolutely insane. I haven't seenanything like this before. Just almost all
(02:16:48):
the yards on especially Chai Hi,have been on that kick return, and
like punt return teams, definitely bothkicking teams need to take a look at
their defense and take some better angles. Yeah, certainly do as First and
ten now from the chip with aforty eight yard line, once again,
back to pass his Shipman, he'llthrow it out far side, caught at
the forty five up to the fortythree yard line there to Burn Shipping with
(02:17:11):
a good pass that time. Burnsmade a nice move second and five on
a five yard game. And I'vebeen talking about Shipman being a quarterback running
back hybrid. I'm gonna still saythe same story over and over again.
But he's got a really nice spiralon the balls that he's been throwing.
He really looks poised in the pockettoo. Only a few times have I
(02:17:31):
seen him kind of get confused andnot really understand where to go, like
the turnover before. But he looksconfident right now. Shipman with doing a
nice job in relief of McCracken whogot hurt earlier in the game. Here's
a handoff to Olsen. He'll getfour third and one now up to the
thirty nine yard line. Blockticks sixforty seven, forty six left to play
here in the fourth quarter, chipwas thirty oaklare Nords sixteen and we might
(02:17:56):
we might be seeing some more passinghere. I don't expect them to go
full pass but I could definitely seeit with the clock turning now. Being
down two scores is not ideal,of course, is not the NFL.
So what North does is they sendtheir quarterback over to the sideline to get
the play right now. They're onthe far hash mark. So you burn
some time every time you run thatnew play in. Shipman here on third
(02:18:16):
and one, gonna keep it himself. They shoot the gap and they wrap
him up in the backfield. Heread that play like a book, did
Jackson Martin, And it'll be ano gainer at the thirty nine and as
the clocks still ticking north as toget up to the line or run a
play, there's no need to puntin this situation. On fourth and one
at the chip with thirty nine.Yeah, and Jackson Martin. We've been
(02:18:37):
calling his name all game long. He's been he has been that guy for
Chaihai, making the consistent plays, always in there trying to blow up,
trying to blow up a play, whether it's a play action, running play.
You're a young guy, daddy, you say he is him. I
think that's what they say. Now, fourth and one here at the middle
of the hash mark at the thirtynine, need one Olson, the tailback
(02:18:58):
here in the epistle formation, handoffbounces left. He's got the first down.
I think boy, I thought hehad it. Initially, officials were
coming in about a half a yardbehind the line, but he looks like
he's got it. On the handoffto Olson. They're stopping the clock,
maybe for a measurement. No,they will give him the first down up
to the thirty eight yard line.Move the chains five twenty seven left to
(02:19:20):
go here now they will roll theclock here at the fourth Cardinals thirty Husky's
sixteen. Olson fighting for the yardand you get that conversion, and it's
hard to stop him, especially whenit's a fourth and one. Every time
I've seen cam Olsen try and gofor a fourth and one, he's always
fighting. Get that last bit.One receiver left two right here for shipment.
Shipment back to pass, throws leftthe entire way, that one taking
(02:19:43):
off the turf. It isn't calleda catch by Johnson. For a moment,
I thought he skipped off the turf, but he made a little shoe
string catch out there at the thirtyfour yard line. And it'll be a
four yard game. Second and six, and they really need a chunk play
here if they want to expect tocome back into this game. They need
something towards something either close towards thesideline or close towards the end, not
(02:20:05):
like towards the end zone, butlike something to give you a big chunk
play. You remember a few drivesto go that big kind of jump ball
throwing to Johnson, something like thatwould probably be what you're looking for.
Shipping back to pass, looking deep, there's pressure coming. He rolls right,
needs to get away from it.He will tuck it and run and
he'll get a couple of yards tothe thirty two yard line, gets a
couple again, not the big playhe wanted, but there was good coverage
(02:20:28):
downfield, and you can chalk thatone up to the secondary is now north.
Hurry's up to the line. Chipwatrying to make some changes here,
but they're gonna have to run theirsubs off the field because they have the
play ready to go. One receiverleft, two to the right, third
and four here from the thirty twoyard line. Shipping pumps right, rolls
left. Oh, nice pick upthere by Olson on the blitz. It'll
pop pass. It's off the handsand incomplete trying to find Brady Jensen on
(02:20:50):
the far side. His tight endthrough it a little bit behind him.
Jensen probably will tell you that heshould have made the catch, but that
was a real tough catch to makebecause he threw it a little bit behind
him on that route. No,and I understand Shipman trying to kind of
give it, give it so brettyJensen can only make a play on it,
but it's just a little bit toohigh. A little bit that probably
has to do with the pressure thatwas coming around the side by the way
(02:21:11):
great blocked by Ki Kim Olson whojust laid his body on the line to
seal off incoming defender coming towards Shipman. Shy Hi thirty oaklare North sixteen four
oh two left to play and it'sfourth and four here for North. They
need the twenty eight for a firstdown. Ball at the thirty two two
receivers right, one to the left. This could be the game right here.
(02:21:33):
Shipman with a hardcount, takes thestaff. They bring a blitz.
He looks right now, looks backleft. He wants to throw down,
feel a little pot pass. It'sup. Hey, I'm caught. Well.
We climbed the ladder there to Solbergon the sideline. He's got the
first down up to the twenty seventythrough it only where Solberg could catch it.
And Solberg with the highest vertical ofhis life, and he tiptoes the
sideline for five and a first downand just some toe drags swag there from
(02:21:56):
Solberg. We've seen that before withthem, but this one definitely needed for
that fourth down conversion to keep thisgame going. Three forty five left on
the clock here, and man,do they have something building up here?
Signed Solberg up for the high jump. Let's get him on the basketball team.
Let's get him in a few differentplaces where those hops will help you
out. Two receivers left, oneright here in the near hash back to
(02:22:18):
past Shipment. Pumps wants to godeep. They've got a chance for Johnson.
It's up an incomplete, not agreat throw from Shipment. He throws
that one in bounds. That's atouchdown. A little give pump and go
down the sideline, and Johnson dida great job getting separation. The ball
just not there, no, justa little bit too much on it,
just a little bit out of thehands of TJ. Right there. He
(02:22:39):
had him. He had him,he really did. But just showing the
inexperience of Shipman here. He isa sophomore, but he's been looking pretty
great out there. Those balls havebeen has some nice spirals on those,
not missing by much. You're rightnow, three twenty seven left to go,
second and ten here for Oaklare North. They are down thirty to sixteen
(02:23:00):
to chi high. With a lastgasp on this drive, second and ten,
back to past Shipment looking over themiddle. Throws caught at the eighteen
yard line. Not much more thatwas Solberg on a little dig route across
the middle, and he was tooka little bit worse for the wear on
that one as he is down grabbingat his like maybe his right hamstring.
There he is close to the firstdown, about a yard and a half
(02:23:24):
maybe two yards short at the nineteenyard line where they gave him four a
progress. He'll now run off thefield. They're gonna run the clock though.
I would imagine the three sixteen leftto play late in this game,
no time out taken by North orhe might still be outside of that in
high school football where they keep theclock stopped at least for the time being.
So might have been the more ofa heady play that time for Solberg
(02:23:46):
to go down. Oh yeah, definitely. It kind of just looked like
he got the wind knocked out ofhim for a second. He might come
in the next play too, Iwould expect. But they're definitely a reason
during one. It's Ben Mettler, who's the receiver who comes into the game
for um out on the far sideJohnson near side. They got slot receiver
left Shipman in the shotgun for OaklareNorth thirty to sixteen. Chip will leads
(02:24:09):
he's gonna run it himself as Shipman, he's got the first down to the
fifteen, gets hit hard right onthe sideline out of ounds by Tanzer.
It's a first down up to thethirteen yard line, new set of downs.
Three oh eight left to go herein the fourth quarter, clocks stopped
as he got out of bounds, but again two scores down. So I
mean you're at the point with onlyone time out, Dan, where if
(02:24:31):
you score here? I mean we'reprobably looking at an on side kick.
I don't think you could really kickit away and hope for a three and
out with just that one time out. No, there's not enough time for
that. You would be that wouldbe an absolute miracle, And to even
get the ball back you would maybehave a few seconds left on the dollar
there. So once again Shipman inthe shotgun. McCracken out of this game
(02:24:52):
with an injury. Two receivers hadleft, one to the right, shipment
back to pass, looks left nowover the middle, throws it to the
back left corner of the end zone. It is up for a jump ball,
all and incomplete, trying to getit out there on the edge.
See who that was in set?Burns? Who was into the game on
that far side well defended out thereon the edge by Simon Fish and it'll
beast second and ten from the chipwith twelve, and he had a chance
(02:25:16):
for that one too. It lookedlike he got his hands on the ball
right there, almost had all ofa sudden, a wicked wild catch,
which we have seen with this oldClaire North offense, especially the receiving corps.
It's good recognition from Shipment because itwas a one on one situation.
It was another jump ball. Challengerreceiver to make the better play, just
couldn't come away with at that timethrough his hands. Two receivers left,
one right, second and ten. They bring some pressure. Shipment throws over
(02:25:37):
the middle. That's caught by Jensenat the sixth to the five, maybe
to the four. Ball came out, but he was clearly down at the
four yard line, and now thetrainers were coming out. They thought there
was an injury. There was not. Fox continues to roll. He's about
a yard yard and a half shortof the first down, third and about
two here for North two forty twoleft to go. Fourth quarter. It's
(02:25:58):
chip with thirty oaklare North sixteen.Well, we gotta remember Brady Jensen's kind
of out there playing with the chipon his show. He's been limping almost
all game long, so that theymight have been just expecting him to be
down, but he plays with hisheart. He'll line up offset right side
of the line, one receiver left, two to the right here for Shipman.
Shipman takes a snap, wants torun with it up the gut.
He goes toward the goal line. He's so the two maybe the one before
(02:26:22):
he's pushed backwards to buy a bunchof Cardinals. The guy who was pushing
him back up top was Brady Hegman. Again, there was a couple guys
underneath. They'll stop the clock here, and I'm not sure if now they're
just stopping it to move the chains. Officially, he does have enough for
the first down to about the maybeone and a half yard line, so
now officially first and goal, buttwo nineteen left to go here in the
(02:26:45):
fourth and Dan, I think we'resort of banking on an extra or a
partner an on side kick at thispoint. I gotta make sure you get
the touchdown here before you can eventhink about that. Oh yeah, definitely,
Shipman. We'll give it to Olsenup the gut, bounces off a
tackler tries to roll to his left, does not have it. He is
short of the line or of thetouchdown rather at the two. No gain
on the play. Second end goal. Now at the two. We took
(02:27:07):
under two minutes left to go.Chip with thirty oaklare North sixteen. Gotta
get the play in quickly to saveas much time as you can. And
Chai Hi, you should probably behappy that they're on the goaling. This
is where their defense has been best. I mean they gotta stop before two.
Shipman takes a snap and the shotgunlooking left, rolling left. Gotta
throw this one away, still gottathrow it. He will lift this one
(02:27:28):
up and is intercepted. He poppedit up in the air and Chippuwa has
it on the far side. Whocame down with it was that Carter Bovy.
I think it was who put thepressure on him. He was trying
to throw it downfield for an incompletion. Now there is a flag. There
is a flag in the back ofthe end zone, and this is holding
on Chippuwa. So before the passwas thrown, they're calling holding in the
(02:27:52):
secondary. So hold the phone.North still has the ball. Let's hear
the call here. It comes allthe defense over twenty half of difference in
the ball. Guitan patro Is calledfor the hold in the end zone,
and what looked like it was basicallythe end of the game ends up extending
(02:28:15):
this drive. They'll again not anautomatic first down, they'll mark it up
just inside the one. So it'ssecond in goal now here for the Huskies.
Wow, and that's a lucky onething for this whole clear North team.
Shipman takes the snap up the middle, he goes under center. He
looks like he's in no signal.Gotta call it here. The clock's still
ticking. Officials haven't called now they'llput their hands in the air. One
(02:28:37):
twenty five left that you know, the officials should add some time to the
clock here. I'm not sure theywill, but at the moment it's thirty
to twenty two. Cardinals lead ittouchdown, Husky's extra point pending. Yeah,
they really should have just had thetime stopped there. And it looks
like the ref n goback out tosay something. Maybe not actually, now
that I think about it, he'sjust kind of signaling, uh, but
(02:28:58):
this to been stop, right thenand there again. That's why the officials
got to make that signal quickly. Here's a snapspot in the extra point.
The kick is up and good forSoulberg. So it's thirty to twenty three
Cardinals with the lead on and onsite kicks coming up right after this,
with one twenty five left right hereon Classic Rocket two one. This is
(02:29:20):
oh clear high school football on ClassicRock two one. You need a hitch
haul, pulled, dump or transport. You need a trailer. Get quality

Your home for the Huskies is ClassicRock. Welcome back in here to
Claire and Carson Park, O ClairNorth going down the field, scoring thirty
(02:30:07):
to twenty three, Chippu at thelead. It'll be an on side kick
coming up here for OA Claire North. That'll be their only chance. If
not, Chipwa can kneel on theball and win this game. The shipping
touchdown run and off we go.It'll be Sulburg to kick. Need to
get it to the fifty yard linefor it to be official. Here it
comes, it takes a good hop, pops in the air, It's grab
(02:30:30):
by Bobie. Bobie's gonna return itas well on the far sideline of the
forty to the thirty. He's gotone man to beat. He's gone,
and Chippawa puts the exclamation point andwhat's gonna be their first win in Big
Rivers Conference play. Not only didhe recover it, he said, look
at this, I've got a lanedown the sideline and Bobie takes it in
(02:30:50):
for another touchdown kickoff return. It'shis second in as many returns and attempts,
and Carter Bobie is almost single handedlywinning this game for Chipwa. This
special team's game. This has beenthis has been noted as a special teams
game. This has been completely onthis Chai high special teams, especially kick
(02:31:16):
returning. They've just been able totake advantage of either poor angles taken or
even just poor awareness. In general. It just seemed like Oak Claire North
was just not really understanding what wasgoing on? Bashing Bauer will not attempt
the extra point? Another bad snap, So thirty six twenty three the lead
for the Cardinals, one seventeen leftto go, one seventeen and Mary,
(02:31:41):
well, we write it down againin the scorebook. Thirty six twenty three
is a score. Chippawi leads. Now all right, let's go back and
recap this a little bit. Rememberoau Claire North, with seven fifty four
left to play in this fourth quarter, got a touchdown from Shipman and kicked
the extra point. It was twentyfour to sixteen at that point. He
thought, okay, with in onescore, oakleare North is in good shape.
(02:32:01):
Just got to get a stop ondefense. Right, what happens?
Ninety eight yard touchdown return for CarterBovie, he gets it in thirty to
sixteen, is a score at thatpoint. Then North marches downfield, right,
get the kickoff. They don't gettheir own kickoff return for a touchdown.
Marches downfield for fifty two yards anotherShipman one yard touchdown run on the
line, another one score game, thirty to twenty three. Okay, get
(02:32:24):
an on side kick, have achance. Another kickoff return here for Bovy
and Dan I mean they like,I mean, you know, the first
time, they want to get theirdefense out there to get a stop.
This time, all right, let'sgive it a chance on the on side
kick return. And Chipwood just isI mean, not only are they answering
with these returns, but I meanthey're just crushing the soul right now,
(02:32:46):
the Huskies. Yeah, and formost coaches, they'll say just don't try
and return it, mainly because youcould fumble up it. Also because that's
bad manners too, And I'm notone to talk about bad manners here on
live foot ball broadcast manners in football. But yeah, yeah, you're right.
I mean sometimes you just fall onit, you take the kneel down,
right, be done. But ChipI mean, like we said,
(02:33:09):
Chippo came in with a chip ontheir shoulder in this game. They've been
talking some trash. We've seen thatfor sure. I don't know if it
was just things that were maybe saidbetween the players. Who knows is this
is a squib kickdown field be scoopedup in about the seventeen yard line here
looking for the return up to thethirty yard line. Thirty five to the
forty yard line was Maddox Girtz andso a pretty good return. One ten
(02:33:33):
left to play. I mean,it looks like it's in chip was hands.
I guess you could never really countoaklare North totally out in this one?
Now, this is the comeback team. We've seen some We've seen some
tough stuff from them, and evenon that return, we saw really just
he refused to go down. Hejust kept spinning and turning around. This
(02:33:54):
McGinnis team, while they may stilllose this one, is really showing some
heart out there. Yeah, whatthey need to focus on is baby a
little bit more on the special teams, but I'm sure that will be talked
about this week. In the filmsession, three receivers left one to the
right here for Shipman. Shipman launchesit left incomplete looking at the forty five
or his tight end once again, and Jensen couldn't find him. And I
(02:34:18):
mean, now with one of sevenlives, I mean, you gotta score
quick, right because it's a twoscore game. You're still looking for an
onside kick and then another drive toscore again. So I mean North needing
a bit of the miracle here interms of a quick score so they can
get back to that on site kickchance and see if they can have any
kind of sliver of hope here. It's a night against Shipwa and they've been
(02:34:41):
weirdly accurate on a few of theirdeep plays, especially with Shipman and how
he's able to throw the ball. He's just looks poised out there no matter
what. And now Chippawa just sendingtheir safeties back a bit here. They're
looking for that deep pass. There'sa pump by Shipman throws it over the
middle cot by Solberg at the fiftyflag coming in on the play back near
the line of scrimmage. Should beenough. They're gonna give m nine yards,
(02:35:03):
but this one from the headline.Judge on the far side holding on
North up on the line. Sothis is coming back and Chippoo will,
thankful, will very happily take thepenalty yard and send them as far back
as they can. One minute leftto play. Hello, insult to injury
too, and they'll send them backnow to the thirty. So thirty six
(02:35:24):
to twenty three Chippoo with the leadNorth, with their backs up against the
wall, and not a whole lotof hope left. But again, I
mean they fought hard. You talkedabout this coach, McGinnis led team is
not going to give up, andthey certainly have not tonight. They could
have easily bowed out when they weredown seventeen to nothing after the first quarter,
but they hung around, got itto within one score a couple of
(02:35:46):
times, deep throw cot at theforty five yard line, beautiful catchdown field
there by Burns and a little extraafter the play, he'd been stopped in
his forward progress and the Chippo cameon, kind of piled on and threw
them to the side. They're stilltalking over there, nor trying to get
up to the line. Chipoy tryingto kind of slow him down a bit.
Third and five thirty seconds remain againone time out for the Huskies.
(02:36:09):
Are trying to hold on to Shipmanback to pass down by thirteen Off he
goes. With twenty seconds remain rollingRighty's sacks sack ball came out. They'll
say that he's down. It won'tmatter. That's gonna be the last play
of the game. Now they'll callit time out or maybe yeah, they
will call it time out. Thereis an injury here. Shipman went down.
He must be cramping up. Theway that they are dealing with them
(02:36:31):
here, eighteen seconds remaining, burnthe time out, it'll be fourth and
fifteen, the loss back to thethirty five yard line, and now you
can pretty much shock it up,put it in the wind category for the
Cardinals, they're gonna get their firstconference win here against Oak Claire North.
Again. They had not lost toNorth since twenty fourteen, so they keep
that streak alive, and they keepthe playoff hoaks alive. You know last
(02:36:54):
year they lost in the first roundto Appleton North. This season of bad
start. Now they're to two andthree, only need a couple more wins,
so maybe get to consideration three winsor where your last four games?
And they've had a pretty tough scheduleearly, so they got a little bit
of a respite late here. Theycould potentially put some wins together, could
chipwa oh yeah, especially with whatwe've seen from not only as special teams,
(02:37:18):
but the offense. They drawn upsome great plays to kind of get
the offense moving here. Well, this is interesting. Peyton McCracken's back in
the ballgame. Now, we thoughthe was out with an injury, but
maybe coach McGinnis was just rolling withShipman as the hot hand there. He
throws this one away on poured downand that will now turn it over here
to Chipwa with thirteen seconds left,They'll take a knee and the ball game
(02:37:41):
will be over. Interesting there,I might, let's say quarterback controversy,
but there may be some battles inpractice this week to figure out who North
is going to send out there asa starter next week. And I will
say, if this was to kindof like decide the battle here, Shipman
(02:38:01):
definitely looked like he had a littlebit more confidence despite a cracking, having
maybe a little bit more experience onthat too. Thirty six twenty three Chippewa
with the lead, they will winthis one. They have to take one
knee and that will do it.Mon Nominee was the next opponent for ou
Claire North. They'll head to WilliamStadium next week at seven o'clock to take
on the Mustangs, whereas Chipwa fallswill go back home up to dray Field
(02:38:26):
they will take on New Richmond. We'll talk about all that morning our postgame
show, which is coming up rightafter this. Cardinals winning thirty six to
twenty three over Oa Claire North.Back after this on Classic Rock ninety two
one, the post game show isnext on Classic Rock ninety two one.
Let's use a football metaphor in yourhome. You're the quarterback, now,
(02:38:50):
who would you want your front fineass fault, No, the fearsome form
rain, hail, wind and snowand blow right through an ass ball line.
For real protection, you on beYorks frand Metal roofy because hit after
hit, year after year, Yorksfrand Metal Roofing will keep you protected with
a fifty year non pro rated andtransferable warranty two three seven, twenty six,
(02:39:15):
seventy eight. I was down onmy luck. My car was a
piece of Luckily. I found HottaKing. Otto King showed me that they
truly cared. I went down toBird Street in a Claire. I got
a great deal all the most ofthe Yeah, Hoto King is the only
(02:39:39):
way to go Your home for theHuskies is Classic Rock ninety two one and
welcome back here to Carson Park postgameshow of our What was a really good
game here tonight in oh Claire? The Huskies lose to Chipwa False Night thirty
six to twenty three pikadouts and Danzon'swith you here, Dan, Well,
(02:40:03):
let's recap the game a little bit. We know I want to give you
some out of town scores as well. Let's do that for you as well.
As again, that football Friday nightshow is just getting underway over our
newstot WMQ. They're running through somescores as well. Let's run through some
here on our Auto King out oftown scoreboard. Regis wins sixteen to fourteen
tonight over Fall Creek. It wasa one point win for River Falls over
(02:40:24):
Oak Clare Memorial twenty eight to twentyseven. Tonight. Hudson, with a
big second half, wins forty sixto twenty two over Menomonie and hands Monominee
their first loss. So Hudson remainsatop the Big Rivers at a three and
o mark in conference along with NewRichmond, who wins forty eight to eight
tonight over Superior, and Mondovie picksup their first loss in conference playing the
Clover Belt. So next week's matchbetween Regis m Mondovie will be Regis three
(02:40:48):
at OZ and Mondovie two and onein conference in the Clover Belt. Next
week. All right, Dan,we'll recap some scoring here, but just
your impressions. I'm in north foras bad of a first quarters they had
going down seventeen to nothing, theyhad to pick six. Just looked like
they weren't going to be able tostop Shipwood all tonight. They responded pretty
well. I know it was arough fourth quarter, which we'll talk about
(02:41:09):
here as well. But this Northteam, as we've chronicled all season long
in the past, would have foldedwhen something like that happened. They don't
do that this year, No,absolutely not. This team has a fire
in their stomach and they're gonna fightuntil the last drop, until the last
until the last second runs out. They even called a timeout with ten seconds
left down thirteen. No one doesthat, no one, but they they
(02:41:35):
were able to kind of gather somerhythm throughout the second and then part of
the third quarter and then even someof the fourth quarter with Shipman playing some
quarterback back there, which he lookedgreat. He looked great. But it's
the special teams was that they're gonnahave to work on for next time.
I mean, two special two specialteams touchdowns is in one game is just
blasphemy from any football standpoint. Youjust don't let that happen. You let
(02:42:00):
them beat you up front, sure, but you don't let them beat you
on special teams. Yeah, certainlydon't. As you mentioned, they got
out to a seventeen to nothing leadin the first quarter due in part to
a sweepelover pick six that he hadon the third play of the game.
Oaklaire North not a lot in thatfirst drive and all of a sudden bad
pass for mccrack and led to theseven to nothing lead to get a field
(02:42:20):
goal later, but put in anothertouchdown on a sixty two yard pass to
Bowling to make it seventeen to nothing. Oaklare North would answer back of the
five twenty eight mark of the secondquarter, mccracking to Solberg for seventeen yards
made it seventeen to seven. Thehalf would end that way, and then
the third quarter not a whole lotgoing until the one thirty three mark of
(02:42:41):
the third when Neil would run infrom six yards out for Chip would to
give the Cardinals at twenty four toseven league. Then chaos and suit a
safety made it twenty four to six. Oaklaire North would get the ball back
after the safety. Shipman would eventuallyrun it in from one yard out with
seven to fifty four left to gotwenty four to sixteen. He thought,
okay, here we go. Thisis gonna be a fun end of the
game. But then, as youmentioned the cardinal sin, Carter Bowie goes
(02:43:03):
in for a ninety eight yard touchdownreturn on the kickoff to make it thirty
to sixteen. Oakland North gets theball back, fights all the way down
to get a score on a oneyard touchdown run from Shipman to make it
thirty to twenty three. What happensan on site kick and it's taken back
for fifty two yards from Carter Bobieagain to score a touchdown thirty six to
twenty three. North did not havea response at that point. All right,
(02:43:26):
that'll do it for us here tonight. As we said North, we'll
travel to my Nominee next week totake on the Mustangs at UW. Stout
and Williams Stadium. That a seveno'clock start from just down the road there.
Chip will will return home to takeon New Richmond in a battle It
should be a really good battle nextweek at deray Field. And next week
for us here on our iHeart stationsagain, Regis will be in action on
(02:43:50):
Thursday night they host Mondovie over onMoose Country, and then on Friday night
you and I Dan will be hereto take to watch the team that's at
the top right now on Hudson comein to take on Memorial. But Memorial
gave Riverfalls all that they could handletonight. I know Memorials had their ups
and downs, some struggles this season, but I would not count them out
in any game for the rest ofthe year, especially against the Hudson team,
who never know could overestimate them orunderestimate them or estimate them and have
(02:44:16):
those issues. Certainly, Yeah, and Riverfalls almost overestimated them a little bit
tonight too. They realized the Memorialskind of a team that's gonna keep,
kind of like Eau Claire North. It's funny, they're inner city teams with
kind of a same mentality about themselves. Both of them want to fight to
the end, no matter what thescore is, no matter how daunting it
(02:44:37):
may seem ahead And honestly, Ithink that matchup is going to be a
great one. So I'm excited tobe here again and it was a fun
game looking forward to it certainly.Dan A special thanks to Shaan Soccer for
passing all those scores along to us. Again. You can check out that
