Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well here on the Q one zero two community microphone.
It's one of my favorite guys, Steven Skinner and your
next lawyer by the way of the Skinner Accident and
Injury Lawyers, Now listen. The Levitt Amp Shenandoa Junction Music
Series presented by Skinner Accident and Injury Lawyers is kicking
off tomorrow and it's at Sam Michael's Park at Jefferson County.
(00:21):
Tell us all about it, Steven.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Well, Chris, thank you for having me. We are so
excited to be a part of this. The AMP is
an amphitheater. The county has been building it out for
a number of years. They're just finished phase to upgrade
at the facilities and we're so excited to be the
presenting sponsors for the entire music series this summer. We're
(00:44):
kicking it off tomorrow night with Christian Lopez, who I
have been a fan of and have known for a
very long time since he was a kid. And I
mean I gave everybody's a kid to me. But I've
known him for twelve or fifteen years and we're lucky
to have him back. You know, he's from Martinsburg and
(01:06):
he can play. He's currently a Nashville star, and for
us to have a local person kickoff this year means
a whole lot. I'll be there. I look forward to
seeing Christian into seeing everybody who comes out to see him.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
He is amazing. So if you don't remember, he got
a little bit of fame on American Idol way back
in the day, we actually had him on the show
way back when he just was one of these kids
who was like phenomenal. You knew he was going places
and he has. So he's going to be a great
way to kick off the series. Who else is coming
this summer?
Speaker 2 (01:39):
So we have a wide range of different folks coming
and I want to point out that, well lal tyser
Band is June fifth, then Circa Blue is coming June twelfth.
On June nineteenth, the Suns of Maestro. Then moving on,
(01:59):
we've got the Tartan Terrors, which is something everyone should
be not scared of.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
But they're like a Celtic band, right.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, they are super excited for that. I want to
I'll put a plug in by the way for fireworks
that come at the end of June beginning of July.
Then we move on to Olivia Ellen Lloyd, who is
also a local that's going to be on July third.
On July the tenth, we've got Encendio, which sounds like
(02:33):
it's a Harry Potter instruction, but it's much much more
than that. Then we have July seventeenth, Betty Sue Kara
Bah on July twenty fourth. On July thirty first, we've
got Loan Pignon and that will wrap up a summer
(02:53):
that's going to get us a long way into the summer.
And the Leavenant Foundation has been incredibly generous to partner
with the county in building the Amphitheater and getting the
music series set up, and we've long been looking for
a way to partner with them, and so this is
a new thing for them to partner with a local company,
(03:18):
and we look forward to a long relationship so we
can bring this music and fun for free. Did we
mention that for free too? It's not just the people
of Jefferson County. We want the whole Shenandoah Valley to
come up and there's plenty of free parking, and when
you get there, they've got concessions. You might have to
(03:40):
pay for your Coca Cola or Pepsi whichever it is,
but it's going to be a really good time.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Steven, I always like to say when I'm up on
stage introducing things. You know, remember the sponsors when you
see their names and places and your sponsored by sponsored by.
Nothing happens without sponsors. They're the ones that make it possible.
And thanks to sponsors like you, the Skinner Accident an
injury law firm. You know, you guys are paying so
that we don't have to, so that it's free for us,
(04:09):
and we really do appreciate that so much. So again,
Thursday night, it's Christian Lopez kicking the whole thing off.
And if you want more information, you can go to
Chris anddlrishow dot com. We've got the whole list of
performers right there. Steven, anything else.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I just if you see me there, please come up
to me and say hi. I love to meet the
folks that are listening to the show and talk about
the show. Our relationship with you all is important to us.
Please come up and say hi.
Speaker 1 (04:37):

is going to be a good time. The AMP Shinanto
