Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here on the Q one O two community hotline, we
have our friend Kristin Lays with Historic Bell Grove. We've
been so excited talking about this, a brand new event
for Shenandoah Country.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
It's called Shenandoah SIPs. Welcome. It's good to talk to
you again, Kristin.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Thank you, Chris. It's great to be with you today.
We're so excited about this weekend.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, tell us all about it. Shenandoa SIPs. It's a
great name. Tell us more.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Yeah. So we have had our wine festival typically this
weekend in August, and we have just over the years
gotten such a great selection of different types of beverages.
We decided to do rebrand this year to really reflect
the whole range of beverages that we have coming. And
we have eighteen different beverage providers this year.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
When you say beverages, we're talking about wine. Everybody knows
there's wine at Bellgrove, but what else?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
So we've got spirits of course, We've got so many
wonderful local sighters. We even have a CBD Seltzer coming
that's a new thing for us. And we've got and
beer two and then some meat. So it's a whole
range of things, and some of those distilleries they'll be
you know, sharing like a whiskey or a bourbon. But
last year they brought us some wonderful different cocktails that
(01:12):
you could try, or even like slushy drinks, which is
perfect for the summer.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Oh my gosh, ya, we're looking for great weather. You've
also got music.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I love that you just kind of have the best
atmosphere there at Belgrove. It's beautiful, your friends are there,
you're enjoying whatever it is you prefer to drink, and
then here comes the music.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Right so on the back lawn behind the historic manor house.
It got some nice shady spots, great stage setups. We
have Misha Herren playing first and then we have sold
Out playing second, so maybe a little more mellow startle
though Misha can really bring some amazing vocals. And then
get your dance on in the afternoon.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Yeah, it was going to say, you know, bring a
chair to sit in. That's great, but once sold Out
gets up, you're going to be dancing.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
You're going to be definitely gland on your feet.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
This sounds like so much fun. Where do we get
the tickets so you can.
Speaker 3 (01:58):

wonderful merchandise venders. And then we've got a new thing
we're trying this time, and that's some family friendly activities

be Playfavorites, which is a toy store out of Front Royal.
They've got some kids activities, and then we've got a
barrel train that's even going to be given rides.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
That's really fun.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
I'm afraid you're gonna have a lot of adults try
to get on the barrel trained and okay, whatever, well.

We'll see how yeah, we'll see what they allow. But
you know, hey, no judgment. Why long is it's safe?
