On the phone with us this morning. It's Kristin Lays
from Historic Bell Grove. Good morning, Kristin. How are you?
Every time that we talk, something fund's going on at
Bell Grove and I'm so.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Glad We've bet you've got another chance to talk because
there's something else fun going on and it's the wine
Fest this Saturday from eleven to six.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
And boy, you've got a lot going on. Tell us
share some of the things that you're doing with us.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah, we do. We've got twelve wineries, but we also
have a brewery, some mead coming from Honey and Hopsprewworks
in Socca, Metay Cobbler, Mountain Sidery will be there, Box
Office Brewery. We've got four distilleries coming. Some of them
are going to have some mixed drinks.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Even You've also got fun things to experience, like chef demonstrations.
Is that right? Tell us about that?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Sure, We've got four chef demonstrations from different chefs. Faulton
Cellars chefs. Terry Rushing's going to be there preparing one
of her signature dishes. We've got Rachel Wood, personal chef.
She's going to prepare apple dumplings. I'd love to know
how to make that. Coming into fall, the beat keepers
of the Northern Shendoah are going to be there talking
about how bees are so important to the food chain.

They're going to have a little hot honey sauce to demonstrate.
And then one of our volunteers at Bell Grove, Valhaddocks,
is preparing something called BlackBerry vinegar, which is actually a
refreshing beverage and it's the recipe from the Hype Family cookbook.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh that's really cool, So we'll step back in history
with food. I love that. So you got music for
us to I know, Mojo Mothership's coming back, right, Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
We've got Mojo Mothership will be the second one up
on the stage, but starting the day is going to
be Misha Herron. And then while the bands take a break,
we're going to send folks back towards the end of
the property by the orchard and you get to see
a little demo from the National Sheep Dog Finals folks.
So we're going to have a couple of sheep and
some border colleagues to show you what kind of funds

coming up later this fall with the Sheepdog Finals at Bell.

Grove, And when is that happening.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
September thirtieth through October sixth a full week of competition
on Bell Grove property.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
It's like I say, there's always something fun going on
at Bellgrove, so but this weekend, let's concentrate on this Saturday.
It's the Bellgrove Winefest eleven until six in Middletown. And
if we want to go, if we want to get tickets,
how do we get our hands on them?

Speaker 3 (02:14):
So you can go head on and over to our
website right now twenty four to seven until Friday at
five and get five dollars off. So just thirty dollars
get you tasting from eight different beverage providers, access to
those chef demos, great music, set up your chair on
the lawn and enjoy the end of summer.
