Speaker 2 (00:30):
The game is done.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Wrap this one up.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Now the reaction begins. This is Clippers locker Room, your
post game look at the LA Clippers on the LA
Clippers Audio Network. Now your pre and postgame host Adam Osling.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
James Harden had eighteen in the fourth quarter, but he
needed twenty one to tie the game. As this three
pointer comes up short and they lose in Boston one
twenty one to one eighteen. Welcome into your Clippers postgame show.
I'm Adam Osland. Coming up. We'll get to second half highlights,
but let's get back out to your radio voice of

(01:08):
the Clippers in Carlo Jimenez. Well, Carlo, a valiant effort
by this Clippers squad, especially James Harden. He put on
the cape. The heroics were there, he was leading them
and they ran a beautiful out of bounds play that
no doubt coach lu drew up. In that final timeout.
They had Chris Dunn to Aviza Zubots in the high post,

(01:31):
playing the latner role, but instead he kicked it out
to James Harden, who had a good look at a
three on the left wing. Couldn't get this one to go.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yeah, I mean he was three for three from distance
in the fourth, but it was the last one that
just skips off the front of the rim. What an
effort from James Harden. I mean, he really turned the
game around, and his seven minutes at him he had
eighteen points. I mean, unbelievable fourth quarter display. Thought overall,
the Clippers really turned on in that second half. They

(02:01):
were able to get downhill, they got to the rim,
they knocked down shots. Kobe Sanders with a big game
off the bench, huge couple of offensive rebounds for him,
but it just became too little, too late. The Clippers
did not have enough of an opportunity to pull away,
and every time the Clippers pulled within a possession, within
two possessions, Boston would go on a run and punch
back all afternoon long. For the Clippers, I think there's

(02:26):
positives to take away. They got to the fruit throw
line a lot. I thought they moved the ball well.
Twenty three assists on our thirty eight midfield goals. You
don't love the points off the turnovers, but only fourteen
turnovers is not something that's horrible.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
That's gonna be at the top of the league.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
If you average that every single night and just a
gritty effort, it shows maybe the culture of this team.
I mean the fact that you go down twenty four,
you don't quit. You got a game tomorrow night, and
you still fight the entire way.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
That's impressive.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, it's amazing to me that some people in the
chat on the YouTube side are saying this team gave up.
This team never quit down that big number. They continue
to fight out there. They're battling, they're playing for one another,
they're playing for this coaching staff. They gave everything and
unfortunately they may have lost another player in this ballgame
for a significant amount of time as Derrick Jones Junior

(03:17):
went down around the two minute mark of the second quarter.
And I'll say this, I love Jalen Brown, He's one
of my favorite players. You just can't dive ato guy's
knees in the second quarter of a fifteen point game
in November like that. I know it wasn't intentional, but
it was a little bit reckless out there. And I
sure hope DJ and it's not as bad as it

(03:39):
looked because right now he's on crutches and with the
start of the season, the Derek Jones Junior has gotten
off to one of the bright spots for the Clippers.
He will be sorely missed.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
He will be and you hope this is a quick recovery.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
There's a great story with Loan Murray of The Athletic
where Derek kind of talks about his ability to get
back in games quickly, heal quickly, but this just seems
like a tough injury. He immediately grabbed his knee when
he went down, jump almost rolling on the floor like
a man on fire. He just looked like he was
in so much pain, and you just hoped for the

(04:12):
best for him. It's tough to see Derek go down,
especially with the injury to Kawhi already the injury to Beale,
It's just been an ugly start to the season for
the Clippers in terms of injuries. I think you look
at the opportunities that it's opened up for a guy
like Jordan Miller, who we hope is okay if he
went down with a hamstring injury in the first half,
and then Kobe Sanders has taken a huge advantage.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
I thought he was great.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
I mean, Tyler trusts him to close the game tonight,
which tells you a lot about how he feels about
Kobe Sanders. This is one that just stings with the Clippers.
I mean we talked about it in Dallas, Adam. Whoever
won that game in Dallas is gonna feel great, and
whoever lost, you were gonna leave bad taste.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
In your mouth. And this feels the same way for
the Clippers.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
I mean, they were in it, they were down late,
they had a look to tie it. James Harden couldn't hit,
but there not even remotely close to being in this game.
If he doesn't go for thirty two second half points.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
This team did not quit. Had fourteen of those points.
In the third quarter eighteen in the fourth. The one
area that may have done them in was the five
turnovers early in the fourth quarter. And some of those
look like fatigue out there. You mentioned it, Chris Dunn
looked a little bit gassed, some mental mistakes due to
that fatigue. But I know the Clippers. They didn't quit

(05:27):
in this ballgame. They tried. They came back down twenty four,
they had it to within three. Credit the Boston Celtics,
they were able to hold on. Clippers lose one twenty
one to one eighteen in Boston, and there is no
rest for the weary, for the battered and broken right
now with this Clippers team, as they will be in
Philadelphia tomorrow taking on the seventy six ers. Tip time

(05:48):
is at four. We'll have your pregame show starting right
back here at three. Carlo, great call, as always, exciting ballgame.
Unfortunately the Clippers are on the losing side. Hopefully they
get back to their winning waste tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Tough one for the Clips, but the best part at
him you got another one tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
Let's go. I'll talk to it.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Three sounds good, my friends. I'm sleep I'll see what
I can do no sleep too, Okay, They're going to
Philly now Brooklyn coming up next. Second half highlights. What
a ballgame, but it amounts to another Clippers loss in
the end. They are four and nine on this young season.
I'm Adam Ausland, and you're listening to your Clippers post

(06:30):
game locker room show right here on the Los Angeles
Clippers Audio Network.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
This is LA Clippers Basketball, LA Clippers Hurt, exclusively on
the LA Clippers Audio Network.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
The Clippers battle back down twenty four to bring it
within three, but they missed a three late as James
Harden was short with it on the left wing off
a beautiful inbounds play with under two seconds left on
long outlet pass to Zubas, touch past to James Harden

(07:05):
just running into that three pointer. Unfortunately left it just
short and the Clippers come up short in Boston, losing
by three one twenty one to one eighteen. Welcome back
into your postgame show. I'm out a Moslin. James Harden
thirty seven points in this one, fourteen of them coming
in the third, eighteen points in the fourth quarter, played

(07:29):
thirty eight minutes, coming off a game where he played
fifty one in double overtime on Friday night, had eight
assists to three turnovers, with spectacular fourteen to fifteen at
the charity stripe. Aviatza Zubats was sixteen and twelve with
the starters six for ten. John Collins much better ball games,
seventeen eight of thirteen from the field, a big dunk

(07:52):
late in transition to keep it close, keep the Clippers'
hopes alive. Bogie looking better and better. Eleven points in
this one, plus eighteen with him on the floor in
his thirty five minutes so on the thirteen minutes without him,
they lost those minutes by twenty one points. My goodness,
A lot of this game down so early on in

(08:12):
the ballgame. Clippers trailed by I believe sixteen points in
the first quarter. Clippers got down early. Kobe Sanders helped
get them back in it once again. The rookie four
of seven, two of three from the outside, playing crunch
time minutes late, had eleven points in the ballgame. The
problem Peyton Pritchard in the first quarter had four to threes.

(08:35):
In the third quarter had four threes, dropped thirty on
the Clippers. Jalen Brown with thirty three, Derek White with
twenty two for the Boston Celtics as the Clippers lose
by three and dropped a four to nine on the season.
One twenty one to one eighteen was the final more
postgame coming up next to Outam Moslin and you're listening
to the Los Angeles Clippers Audio Network.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
Let's get back at it.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
This is LA Clippers basketball right here on the LA
Clippers Audio Network.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Clippers lose one twenty one to one eighteen as James
Harden misses a three pointer on the left wing after
he hit all of them to keep them in the ballgame. Tough,
tough loss, Clipper Nation. They fall in Boston by three.
Boston three. Party going on as the Celtics were sixteen
of thirty nine from the outside, the Clippers fourteen of
thirty five after a slow start, but James Harden was

(09:28):
five of eleven, only hit one shot in the first half,
hitting nine in the second half, fourteen points in the third,
eighteen in the fourth quarter. Needed three more, but just
an absolute stellar performance overall, and the Clippers came back
down twenty four the interviasas Zubas woke up in the
second half. Clippers made a run at it, but come

(09:49):
up short. They're four and nine on the season. They're
in Philadelphia tomorrow. Tip off for that one is at
four pm. We'll have your pregame show starting at three pm.
It looks like old buddy Paul George could be available
for that ballgame, for his first game of the season
with the seventy six ers outside of Los Angeles. We
are leaving you until then, but in LA, do not

(10:10):
go anywhere. We got Clippers Talk coming up next.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Welcome in the Clippers Talk, the official postgame show of
the Clippers on the LA Clippers Audio Network. Load up
the phones and make your feelings. No now your host
for Clippers Talk. It's Adam Ousland.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
The Clippers come up a three pointer shy at the
buzzer as James Harden had eighteen in the fourth quarter
but needed three more and they lose by three in
Boston once twenty one to one eighteen. Welcome into Clippers
Talk as they are four to nine now here on
the season. I'm Adam Moslin to eight sixty six ninety
seven two five seventy eight six six ninety seven two

(10:53):
five seventy is the phone number if you'd like to
get on and not just spam and troll in the
chat on the YouTube side. That would be nice people
actually wanted to talk through it, but some just want
to be doomers out here. I am extremely disappointed and
devastated and gutted for Derek Jones Junior. Right now, before

(11:17):
we get to the game. The game took a little
bit of a backseat, as exciting as it was because
Derek Jones Jr. And I believe the one fifty nine
mark of the second quarter ended up getting his knee
ran into by Jalen Brown where there's a loose ball.

(11:47):
And I love Jalen Brown, he's one of my favorite
NBA players. But that's just a reckless play. It wasn't intentional.
It wasn't It was just reckless to dive into player's
legs up fifteen points in the second quarter of a

(12:08):
game in November. I'm sorry. It's dangerous. It's an unwritten rule,
a code. You can't do that. What are you thinking.
I know it wasn't intentional, just probably instincts going for
a loose ball. He's a great player, a finals MVP.

(12:31):
I love Jalen Brown, but my god, you can change
a guy's career with a play like that change his livelihood.
DJ was writhing in pain, grabbing his right knee as
it was hooked by the elbow on the inside of

(12:51):
the elbow of Jalen Brown. Just unnecessary. Shouldn't have happened.
And I'm devastit for Dereck Jones Junior, who was one
of the bright spots on this Clippers team so far
this season where they're four or nine. He's having maybe
the best start to a season in his career. It's

(13:15):
just reckless. He's in a vulnerable position standing like that.
You can't dive into guy's legs. I know he wasn't
trying to hurt him. I know this. Jalen Brown not
just a great player, a great guy, perfect franchise player.
I'm just hurting right now for DJ, who was It

(13:39):
was a tough scene, writhing in pain and we saw
him at the end of the game on crutches, and
I'm thinking, during the game, Clippers are down twenty four,
come on, hashtag comeback clips. Do it for DJ. Do
it for DJ, And maybe that's why they rallied, But
who knows the extent of it. Don't want to speculate,

(14:01):
but it's hard not to when a guy's in crutches
at the end of the game. He's going to be
out for a significant period of time, hopefully not the
entire season. Hopefully it's not a torn ACL LCL, MCL PCL,
hopefully not, because it was just unnecessary and didn't need
to happen. No, he wasn't doing it intentionally, as Damien

(14:25):
in the chat keeps saying, and he'll get a time
out for that. That's not who he is. He's not
a dirty player. Damien's approaching a block. If you want
to get on tonight eight sixty six nine eight seven
two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two
five seventy it's instincts. You see a lose ball, you

(14:47):
go for the loose ball, but you go ahead first
like that and crash into a guy's knee who's standing. Well,
it can lead to what we saw, and hopefully it's
not as bad as how it looked. So I'm hurting
for dj I'm gutted for him, and I'm gutted for

(15:08):
this Clippers team to come back down twenty four to
have a chance to win it at the end. And Daniel,
I don't know if you have the final call, if
We could get that because coach lou drew up a
beautiful out of bounds play a time out that took
place possessions earlier for the Clippers to have a chance

(15:32):
to tie this game with a three pointer. I cannot
believe how well executed this play was with one point
six seconds left, and James Harden, who had just knocked
down one two, got fouled on a three as well,

(15:54):
so basically it just hit three straight three pointers for
the Clippers. Was as heroic as ever come off what
he did in double overtime on Friday night, and maybe
even more impressive given they were down twenty four, given
he should have tired legs, and he looked like it
in the first half, only getting one shot. But he
woke up and had thirty two points in the second
half and eighteen in the fourth quarter, and I thought

(16:18):
he was about to tie it for the Clippers after
this out of bounds play, down three with one point
six seconds left. Here, I think we got it. I
think we got it. Not quite?

Speaker 5 (16:32):
Do we got it?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Bob? Are you ready? Let's try it? How about that
play it?

Speaker 6 (16:38):
Throw it in or roll Boston foul throws it at
half court, du catch his fights Hardy left wing three
for the time off the front.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
Of the room.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
Oh they got a good look and Harding could not hit.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Let's do it one more time. Then it wasn't in
cue there, come.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
On done to throw it in or roll Boston foul
throw in a half court. Dude catches plays Hordy left
win three for the time off the front of the room.
Oh they got a good look and Harding could not hit.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
And that's how this one ends. And the Clippers end
up four to nine to start this season on the
front end of a back to back, So all those
tired legs from Friday night end up playing heavy minutes
in Boston to try to come back down twenty four.

(17:32):
And now you have a quick turnaround and a game
just over twenty five or twenty about twenty five hours
later in Philadelphia, and maybe Paul George is playing in
that game for his first game this season for the
seventy six ers. I credit the Clippers fight. Anybody that
says this team has quit or given up on Coach
Lou you're wrong. Look at the way they played the

(17:56):
last two games. The evidence is right now in front
of you. Do not tell me this team is given up. Sure,
they may have Bradley Beal out for the season, Kawhi
out right now, and who knows how long DJ is out.
But this team has not quit. Clearly, it's irrefutable. But

(18:22):
they are four nine. And if you want to say
they played better the last two games given who they've
had available, great, You gotta win some games too. And
the Celtics outscored the Clippers twenty seven to ten off
of turnovers. Ten of those Celtics points came off of
these six steals the Celtics got. When they got steals

(18:43):
live ball turnovers, they were getting easy ones. They also
had a twenty ten advantage in offensive rebounds out there,
twenty offensive rebounds unlikely to win a game like that.
And Peyton Pritchard in the first and third quarter had

(19:04):
four to three pointers. I was staying top lock him,
dare him to back door cut on. You just deny
him the ball and don't let him get a three
point shot up because he couldn't miss. He was eight
of thirteen with thirty points. And teams aren't missing against
the Clippers from three. They're shooting thirty eight and a
half percent on the season against the Clippers, Boston was

(19:26):
shooting thirty three percent from three well today sixteen to
thirty nine. That's forty one percent. Of course, Derek White's
four of eight guarzas two of two fouled out in
the game, but gave him thirteen big points. I just
some of the shooting is fluky, and the numbers will
stabilize some of its bad defense. And guys knowing they

(19:48):
can get hot against the Clippers, no one they can
get turnovers against the Clippers. Those five turnovers to start
the fourth quarter backbreaking when you're trying to make a
run by the Clippers, and I know some of it
was fatigue because you get down that much and you
cut it to I believe it was a five point

(20:08):
game heading into the fourth, and then quickly after that
twelve to four run to end the third, it's ninety
to eighty five. Harden had fourteen the third, Zoo has ten.
But then Bogie hits two free throws to make it

(20:36):
a three point game, and now they're just having turnover
after turnover, offensive foul on Niko Batoum. Bogie had a
turnover in there. Jalen Brown hits a three pointer, eight
point game turnover out of the time out by the
Clippers think they had a backcourt violation. Chris Dunn had
some difficulties bringing the ball into the front court. He

(20:57):
looked tired. That hurt. They got down one oh one
to ninety three. Harden comes back in at the seven
to forty one mark as it's a nine point game.
Jalen Brown pushed it back to eleven. Clippers are then

(21:19):
down by thirteen after a Brown jumper made it one
o six to ninety three. Collins hit a big three ride.
Then he had a better game, John Collins with the starters.
That was good to see and there was a great
effort play after Harden lost Peyton Pritchard for a floater

(21:39):
to make it an eight point game in the fourth.
Then Bogey misses a three or maybe it was hardened first.
Then Bogie after an offensive rebound another one in. Kobe
Sanders hit a three, Harden three pointer, five point game.
Clippers are back in it, but wall Scott an easy

(22:00):
one in transition after Sanders got a no call and
Boston went the other way. At the two to twenty
eight mark of the fourth to seven point game, James Harden,
though on real Derek White made it a ten point game.
Around the two minute mark, Harden gets a layup, eight

(22:21):
point game, Collins dunk after Derek White miss, six point game,
Kato miss. Harden gets fouled by Walsh on a three.
The review it for a flavorant. Wasn't Harden hits all
three three pointers or hits all three free throws? I
should say one fifteen, one twelve is the score. But
Brown got a dunk to make it one seventeen to

(22:44):
one to twelve out of the time out, or there
was one right afterwards. Harden three two point game with
eight point five seconds left, White gets fouled by Collins,
hits both four point game. Harden again from three Pretcher
to the free throw line, makes a three point game again.

(23:06):
And then you heard that inbound that inbound play that
Harden left it just short.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
Oh brutal.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Clippers lose one twenty one to one eighteen, and I
don't know how long they lost DJ, but it doesn't
look good. A guy who was playing great this season,
a guy they need one of their shutdown corners, and
that right knee buckled as Jalen Brown flew into it.

(23:34):
Coming up next, we'll take your phone calls eight six
six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six
nine eight seven two five seventy. I'll say something else
right now. This is James Harden's team, with the way
he's playing and just he's available. Unfortunately Kawhi can't stay healthy.
This is James Harden's team. Look at the last two games.

(23:57):
I hope Kawhi can get back, maybe tomorrow, maybe later
in the week, but they got to get this game
tomorrow in Philly. They're one on one so far with
five games left on this road trip. I'm at a
Maslin and you're listening to Clippers talk here on five
to SEVENLA Sports.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Let's get back at it. This is LA Clippers basketball
right here on the LA Clippers Audio network.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Here's what I don't get. The Clippers come back down
twenty four when they could have given in, and people
are like time for a new voice, fire coach Lou.
They don't play for him anymore. Have you watched the
last two games. They could have packed it in Dallas.
They definitely could have packed it in tonight. They didn't.
They fought, they came up short, James Harden short on

(24:47):
a three pointer. Clippers losing Boston one twenty one to
one eighteen. Painful loss considering we don't know how bad
it is with the injury to DJ's right knee, coach
lu said postgame quote, we won't know until he gets
re evaluated, so not quite sure right now. It's gonna
be later tonight, early tomorrow. It's gonna be an MRI.

(25:12):
Scary injury. There have been so many times where DJ
gets banged up in a ball game and comes right back.
So to see him leave when he's that type of
warrior out there, it's it's not good. Guys, Praying for
speedy recovery, Praying it's just a sprain and not a
torn ligament.

Speaker 5 (25:30):
You know.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
It reminded me of the Julius Randall play where he
dove into the legs of Mason Plumley a couple of
years ago in New York and then the Clippers lost
Plumbley for a few months. That might be best case
scenario right now with DJ. Honestly, yeah, prayers up. Derek
Jones Junior plays too hard. Is having too good of
a season for a guy to just go flying into

(25:53):
his right knee for a loose ball after he lost
it in the second quarter of a game where Boss
up by fifteen in November, Like, relax, bro, you got
to be better than that. I love Jalen Brown. Maybe
you couldn't help it. That's just how he plays all
the time. But man, it looked reckless. I'm sure he

(26:17):
liked the one back too, Harold and North Hollywood? Am
I really doing this? Harold? You're on Clipper stock without
a mas and what's up?

Speaker 5 (26:24):
Harold?

Speaker 7 (26:26):
Good talking to Adam?

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Hi, Harold, what do.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
You got for me?

Speaker 7 (26:31):
When mister Adam what the playbook? You sounded like the
same he did last season. There's no more moral victories
in professional basketball. These all guys are getting paid to
get out there. If they're back to back.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Well, Harold, let me ask you something. Let me ask
you something. Can you take steps towards becoming a better
team even in losses? Can you improve in areas to
where eventually they turn into wins?

Speaker 7 (26:57):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Well that's what I'm looking for right now. That's what
I'm hoping for, Adam.

Speaker 7 (27:01):
When did the when did the Clippers get a first
round draft pick.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
One that they actually own themselves and isn't a pick swap?
That would be twenty.

Speaker 7 (27:09):
Thirty see this is the problem.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Well, Harold, I know, I know in the.

Speaker 7 (27:15):
Front office Steve Bawlers putting a lot of money into this.
This is an old.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Team, Harold, what's the solution with what under is the solution?

Speaker 7 (27:26):
This is a fact.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
I need actual solutions, not just bringing up a problem.
What's your solution?

Speaker 7 (27:31):
My solution? You know what my solution is, keep your
draft picks.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
It's too late for that, Harold, That's not a solution.
I appreciate the phone call. I went to him, and
now I'm doing this mention New Jersey. Mitch, you're on
Clippers talk. My two favorite callers back to back, Mitch,
what's up?

Speaker 7 (27:59):
Thanks?

Speaker 8 (28:00):
I like you've seen our young players. I've seen Kobe
and Christie. But that just says or cause of injuries.
And we are a deep scene. And I was looking
forward to heart ened Beale. Very unfortunate bal and I
hope it doesn't happen with Collins. I mean now in JPT,
but I was really looking forward to Beal. I thought
that was just going to pick.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Up all right, Bet, yeah, I don't go up. I
appreciate the phone call. We're hoping for the best with DJ.
People are like, let Harold talk about what keep your
draft picks? They already lost them. They can't build a
time machine.

Speaker 7 (28:35):
To go back.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
What do you want? I want actual solutions here, my god,
I love Harold, but that doesn't help anything, especially on
a day like this where DJ might have done his knee.
I am looking for actual solutions, reasonable ones, realistic ones.

(29:01):
Can we get some of those? Because the Clippers are
four or nine.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
More?

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Clipperstock next quick time out eight six six nine eight
seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven
two five seventy. I'm out of Oslin here listening to
Clippers stock.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Let's get back at it. This is La Clippers basketball
right here on the La Clippers Audio Network.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Clippers lose one twenty one on one eighteen and got
thirty two points in the second half from James Harden,
but he could not hit that three pointer on just
a miraculous inbound play with one point six seconds left.
That if it had gone to overtime and the Clippers
win that game, that's an old timer. You remember it forever.
I am proud that the team did not quit down

(29:52):
twenty four, that they gave themselves a chance. It is
also frustrated because they still lost. So you talk about
moral victories, there's no moral victories, Okay? Are there better
ways to play that They found that then they can
go forward and use in future games. So eventually you

(30:14):
turn some of the failures into victories because you learn
from them. That's what I'm hoping for with this Clippers team.
Zubots and James Harden cannot start that slowly in the
first half, and you can't have five turnovers in the
first five minutes of the fourth quarter, and you can't
give up twenty offensive rebounds.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
But with no.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Bradley Beal, with no Kawhi and now no DJ for
who knows how long the Clippers are reeling right now.
We don't know the status of Derrick Jones Junior, but
it doesn't look good. They're gonna have to get some
imaging on it. Quick Time Out come Back Final Segment
eight six six ninety eight seven two five seventy. The

(30:56):
chat is so unserious. Trade Kawhi for Paul George and
Jerry McCain, offer the thunder anything and anyone for the
twenty twenty six pick, Like, why do I look at
the chat? Sometimes? I hope Kawhi is back soon. They
need him. What's the solution? Get Kawhi healthy? Maybe he's

(31:20):
back tomorrow. Who knows. I'm out of Maslin. You're listening
to clipperstock here on five to seventy ELA Sports.

Speaker 5 (31:31):
Let's get back at it.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
This is LA Clippers basketball right here on the LA
Clippers Audio Network.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
James Harden did everything he could in the second half,
had thirty seven points fourteen to third eighteen and the fourth,
hitting three after three to keep the Clippers in it,
but missed one at the very end as the buzzer sounded,
and they would lose one twenty one to one eighteen
in Boston to the Celtics. Look at these numbers by

(32:01):
James Harden the last four games, so thirty seven points,
eight assists, seven boards in this one, forty one eleven assists,
fourteen rebounds on the double overtime victory on Friday twenty
three to five eight rebounds. The game before that, thirty
five eleven assists, ten boards, another triple double before that.
His last four games, he's putting up all star like numbers.

(32:23):
Clippers defensively still aren't good enough, and offensively there aren't
another enough guys coming with him a visa. Zubats has
looked better. He's looked better. There are some bright spots.
Bogie has woken up. Kobe Sanders is a revelation. Twenty

(32:44):
three minutes, four of seven, eleven points, can dribbles, shoot pass,
can play some defense out there, has a good possession
against Jellen Brown. I'm excited about Kobe Sanders and him
getting minutes like this. Everybody critis, Oh, coache won play
the young guys. Really, I think he's playing them. Think
he's trying everything. Clippers can't start as slow as they did.

(33:10):
That was frustrating to see, and then the start of
the fourth quarter put themselves back in a hole after
taking it down to five points into the third, turnovers
hurting them. John Collins was better, He still can be
much better. Everybody won John Collins to start well, he's
played some of his worst basketball since he started with

(33:30):
the Clippers. Big opportunity for him. Got to get more comfortable,
got to take advantage. And they need Kawhi back. Like
people say, what's wrong with this team? Why aren't they winning?
It's like, well, there's a talent disadvantage going on. Your
best player is missing again. Sixth straight game seventh, unfortunately

(33:53):
turned right ankle and sprained right foot. Just I'm glad
it's nothing need with him, but Kawhi's out again. Your
best player that you build around, that you need. How
many teams outside the Clippers have been missing their best
player as much as they have for the last six years.

(34:16):
It is hard to win. James Harden's trying to hold
it down right now. This is his team right now.
Pizza zubats looking better, but without Bradley Beal two, you're
missing a ton of firepower. We shall see tomorrow in

(34:38):
Philly if the Clippers can get one on Paul George
in the Philadelphia seventy six ers. It looks like PG
thirteen might get his first game in this season. Tip
Off at four pregame show back here at three. Before
we get out of here, I do want to think
the Clippers organization, Ralph Lawler, Brian Seeman, know what ego,
Carlo Jimenez on the call, big brother j Warner, thinking

(35:00):
of you, Producer Daniel West back here in the bank.
Big thanks to Daniel West. The callers love you, Harold,
