September 4, 2019
This podcast is in honor of & celebrating the birthday of the late owner of next door & SoHo, both iconic Chinatown clubs, who passed away from stage 4 brain cancer in 2016, Daniel Gray. His birthday would have been September 5th. Daniel was also best friends with super CW. Together they founded the Aloha Cancer Project, a charity that helps people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones navigate that new world. NextDoor invites everyone to Dougie for Daniel fundraiser concert for the aloha cancer project this Thursday, September 5th, 2019, at NextDoor. The fundraiser will include a live music line up including Mike Izon, DNA Music & surprise guests. Daniel’s favorite song was “Teach Me How To Dougie” by Cali Swag District. The artist, OFB Yung from Cali Swag District, will be performing this song for Daniel as we Dougie in his honor. Today we have the former bar mgr of SoHo & now the owner of NextDoor, Marty making us cocktails as well as OFB Yung.

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose.
