Andrew Marshall Could be An Impact Transfer

he's made All Conference. Andrew Marshall is the best transfer
that Nebraska got in the offseason. In my view, he'll
exceed expectations. And the thing that struck me about I

He was the only corner that made All Conference in

out for Nebraska to get him. Jason Eck left Idaho
to come to the head coach New Mexico. His defensive coordinator,
Dan Jackson, who was really his primary coach, Omaha Native,
is now the head coach of South Dakota State, and
he wanted to change his scenery. And I know Dan
Jackson put in a great word. He goes, you need

to go to Nebraska. This place will change your life
if you go there and do big things. And he
picked Nebraska over Miami. You know, Miami offered more money
and that's what they do. And he chose to come
here because he saw kind of what Nebraska could do
for him and where it could eventually take him. Yeah,
so I do think you know him and cr right.

It really does give Nebraska a very formidable duo of
corners now that they are going to be high level
in this conference.

I think the secondary has sort of flown under the
radar in this off season because everybody's talked about the
departures from the defensive line, but this secondary is quietly
if you just look at man for man personnel, the
secondary looks really solid to me, if not.

Exceptional, And a year ago they dealt with a lot
more than we want to admit. I mean a Tommy
Hill injury really derailed a lot of things because you
were counting on him, and then you know he was heard.
He kept trying to come back as kind of a
veteran in the room and one of the probably higher
paid guys in the locker room, and it just didn't
work out. But then yet Evan Cooper leave too in July,

so I do think now it's on a lot more
solid ground. Deshaun Singleton will move up into that more
rover position where he'll be closer to the line of scrimmage,
which I think makes sense. He's a big guy at six'.
