the scrimmage on Saturday, Well.

They didn't scrimmage.

Nothing happened. Yeah, we coach Will I mean he broke
that down Saturday. After practice. They did some live work,
but it will not count as one of their three
scrimmage dates. They already know that April twenty six will
be one of the three because they have to and
use former players in a practice that has to count.
But to be a scrimmage date, over seventy five percent

of the practice has to be live tackling. And they
only did like a part of that. The unit think
some of it was they had the coaches Clintic going
on and look, I think rule knows, Hey, there's probably
a thousand people up this practice. I don't think you
want a lot of people watching his scrimmage as the spring,
especially with the portal on the verge of opening and
everything happening in the weeks ahead. You don't want any

information about your guys as my read, but this, I
would imagine this Saturday they'll do a big one and
then it wouldn't surprise me at all. If they're fourteenth
practice now, the one right before April twenty six, that
would almost be kind of like their internal spring game.
That would make a lot of sense in my opinion,
because April twenty six is going to be more of

just a fan festival practice. So they did not use
one of their three days here on Saturday.

Now, this is a tough question for you. And if
you want to take today and tomorrow and prepare for
it and then answer it on Wednesday, that's fine. But
which is seriously, but which players do you think Nebraska
wants to hide more than any from the problems of others?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I don't. I mean, everybody's a free agent still, Like
let's just say Elijah Pritchett reports are he looks excellent
in practice to left tackle their paying over a million
dollars probably from Alabama to who's not to say somebody
else says, hey, we'll give you more. We'll give you
at one point five. There's nothing that can stop that
right now, so it's not just hiding a guy. But

any player is still a free agent right now, even
the ones that you just added. There's nothing that would
stop them from leaving and going to another school for
more money. Does that make sense?

Yeah, it's this is the wild West. I mean, free
agency is ongoing, at least in professional sports. They have
to sign a contract. Okay, one other thing, what about
Hadley gilm or Hardly Gilmore. We hardly knew you Hardly
Gilmour transfer from Kentucky out before like one scrimmage.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
What happened? That's that sounds like a Bob ker with
Hardy how he hardly knew ya? Right? Yeah, he dismissed
for you know, something that happened internally. You know, a
bad deal from what I understand, and they know, I mean,
they had to go. They had to go their own direction.
