Well, it was kind of a throwback day, Seana. If
the biggest news story coming out of your massive victory
over Akron were the problems at the concession stand, which
seemed now to be the one thing coming out of
that game, then you had a pretty good night.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeah. The old saying you make your biggest improvement between
game one and game two, Well, when Nebraska made a
big one, Well, Aramark makes their big game one to
game two improvement for them next week. But I'd imagine
that was Troy Dannon. That will probably be Troy Dannon's
biggest Monday Morning issue is getting that sized up because
I can't imagine his email box. But look, I think

that was expected on the concession side with all the
new But on the field, yeah, this is what you
sign up for a game play Akron for. You want
to get all your guys adequate work. And they played
one hundred and eight guys in the game, and you
know one of those hundred and eight was not the punter. Right,

odd was how late in the game the starters were.
The tom Osborne philosophy used to be, if we can
score forty four in the first half, they can score
forty four in the second half. So we always put
our starters out there for the first series of the
third quarter if it's a blowout, and then they take
their shoulder pads off. The only thing that makes Matt

Rule look like a dufas is if Dylan Royola is
out there late in the third quarter leading by fifty
and he has a non contact injury.

Yeah, I know what you're saying there, Jim but I
still think there was an emphasis on wanting to get
some confidence, some continuity, and I have no problem, you know,
giving him, you know, three quarters of the third quarter
or whatever it ended up being to kind of put
together a couple of drives, because I remember the first
half they got they stalled out on those opening two drives,

the fumbleut or two of those earlier drives, the fumble
up the goal line, and Heiner Carver getting stuck with
the goal line. So I do think they just wanted
to finish drives and get some rhythm. And Dylan Roylo, though,
does lead the conference. You know, if you're looking at numbers,
he's got fifty seven completions right now in the conference.
Forty six is number two, so he's completed far away

the most. He's second in completion percentage now in the
Big Ten and the second total attempts with seventy three.
And you got to think those numbers will probably go
up again this week because they'll probably get them a
good two and a half three quarters of work against
Houston Christian And I think they want to really develop
this Dana Holgerson offense and what they wanted to be

I mean they ran the ball thirty two times, which
is a lot for a West Coast offense, and they got,
like you said, a lot of guys out there. All fine,
it's great unless you get injured. And that's the only
thing because at the time, Nebraska was leading thirty three
to nothing at the half and Akron had difficulty getting
eleven guys lined up. So it's a matter of opinion,

and we'll see what happens against Houston Christian. How much
better or worse are they?

Oh, it's going to be similar. I mean SCS program.
I've been on that campus. I mean I was when
I saw their stadium two years ago. I could have
believed it. I'm like, well, the Nebraska is playing these guys.
I mean, it's similar to like a small college I
mean Middlander Hastings College type stadium that they play their games.
I joked, there's only one side of bleachers. The other

or the sideline is, there's a Walgreens literally in a
parking lot behind the fence.

You know what, though they might actually be better than Akron. Well,
