(00:05):
And welcome back to the Jason BromotReal Estate Shows. We're diving into real
estate. Well, a little bitof psychology, talking about market trends,
up, down, sideways, good, well well written hooks or clickbait,
whichever way you want to call it. We're going to get there. Yeah,
I'm going to help Jason. We'regoing to that's right, that's right.
I must say. It's coming along. I'm figuring it out. It
(00:27):
takes a minute. It takes aminute anyway. So we're still very early
in the year and most people kindof excited on their new outlook on life,
you know, the resolutions. Nottoo far in the you know,
in the rearview mirror. Some arestill on yeah, the resolution path.
Congratulations to you, by the way, But let's talk about the work is
What does that mean to our listeners. I heard you reference that a few
(00:49):
times in the last segment. Well, here's an interesting thing. So I
was going to give a stab, but someone it made me think of this.
So someone said that seventy percent ofstats that are provided or just made
up on the spot, and Ithought, yeah, that's why I'm ninety
nine point nine to nine percent prettymuch agree with that I really do,
(01:10):
especially with all of the seminars anddifferent things that I've attended, and I
think most of them are. AndI don't know. Maybe it's just because
it's easy on the brain. It'ssearching for confirmation and we like numbers or
whatever, and it just wants toagree. I'm not sure. But interesting
thing is a little side note, just a little fun fact here that I
(01:30):
have learned over the years. Ifsomeone gives you any stat, any stat
at all, and it contains thenumber seven in it, it's pretty much
one hundred percent lie or just onehundred percent made up. I had not
heard that. It is unbelievable, and so I will. This will drive
you a little bit crazy, becauseit did me when I first heard about
(01:51):
this. But just start paying attentionto what people say at your job,
at on TV and speeches. Itis absolutely crazy how many times people will
give you numbers and it has thenumber seven in it. And it's not
like I mean, it's like twentyseven percent, seventy two percent, seventy
six percent, seventy eight, eightyseven, ninety four well or ninety seven
(02:15):
whatever. It's just unbelievable. Italways seems to have so seven must be
like a comfort number, don't.I don't know what else. I don't
know. I'm going to pay attentionnow it is. I actually just just
laugh anymore when I hear any statistic, because it's like seventeen percent of people
say, you know that, whateverit is, But anyway, it's it's
(02:37):
it's fun to I guess have someof that information. But look, I
think if this was the year thatyou were going to set the world on
fire and you derailed and you gotoff track, I got good news for
you. You can get back ontrack because here's think about it. What
broke. It wasn't your dream,it wasn't your resolution. It's only been
(03:00):
six weeks. It's it's only beensix weeks. Hello, Yes, it
wasn't any of those things. Youstill want to do X y Z.
You want to still lose the weight, do this thing, whatever it is.
But here's what happened. The workstopped. That's what stopped. The
vision didn't stop. It's the workstop. You didn't go to the gym.
Therefore, you know, I hatethe gym. I mean, I
(03:23):
go, but you know it hurtsyou. It doesn't smell great. It
you know, whatever, it's butI like the results of it. Sure,
I like it makes me feel goodabout myself. And you know,
and even now I'm I am trickingand training my brain to sense joy in
(03:45):
that torture that I put myself through. Or my trainer does, I should
say he gets a lot more pleasureout of it than I do. But
look, it's just it's just thework that we need to do, guys.
And so that's what I want youto go back and focus on,
not you know, don't focus onthe frustration of you stopped and your dream's
still there and you still got it. Go back and just do the daily
actions and those things. Now,we have some tips that I can give
(04:10):
you. They apply to real estate, but they actually apply to anything.

you can get back on track. So until next week, we'll be back.
