Senator Charles Perry's bill gives power back to the state.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
So now you'll have a State Planning Oversight ROW that
looks at three regions and maybe they can do it
more efficiently by centrally locating the well that's going to
develop those.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Senator Perry says, this intends to produce six million acre
feet of new water sources, and the next step is
hashing out the state budget.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
What we'll do is have the HJR probably come over
to the Senate or work out the differences. And what
that is is that's the constitutional dedication of a band
lady year.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
He adds, we have about nine hundred thousand acre feet
of water in Texas not being used onto a parade.
