a Navy veteran, served a tourin Iraq, three time, three term
member of Congress, two term Floridagovernor, with a very impressive record,
whether it's on COVID, the lockdown'sschool choice, the economy, illegal immigration,

battling woke ideology, standing toe totoe against Disney and their demand for
special privileges. Das Santis has avery very impressive list of achievements and accomplishments.
Yet instead of holding a rally,which is what I urged him to
do, which most people do,with his wonderful wife, attractive young children,

very attractive family, and saying here'swhat I've done for Florida. I'm
a son of Florida. I cando the Florida Blueprint or the Florida model
for the United States, which wouldbe a very compelling vision for the country.
He tried to get too cute byhalf. He decided to launch his
presidential campaign on Twitter, and notjust on Twitter, but with Elon Musk

had a lot of glitches, whichis an unsure technological forum. And yesterday
it was glitch after glitch after glitch. You couldn't hear him. Other people
were talking, others were talking overhim as he was trying to make his

announcement. It was a debacle.And what hurts the Santis. I'm not
saying it's the end of the world, but what hurts the Santis his calling
card. One of the key reasonswhy he says you should vote for him
is competence, effectiveness. He's theguy. He may not have Trump's personality,

says over and over again, Imoved the ball down the field and I
put points on the board. Well, last night it was not points on
the board. It was a disaster. Now, he did give an interview
with Trey Gaudy on Fox News.I saw the interview. It was phenomenal

on the boarder, on energy anddependence, on crime, on woke ideology,
on Ukraine, on taxes, onegal immigration, on dismantling the deep
state, or as he calls it, the administrative state. Trump and DeSantis
are practically identical on many of thekey policies and issues. So what we

see is a battle between two magaconservatives. And he was very articulate,
intelligent, poised, really cut avery impressive figure. But that's not what
you saw in the Twitter rollout.And as I said on the show,
you only have one time to makea first impression. And for many people

and it was a big disappointment.My advice to Governor DeSantis, fire your
campaign team, start again, andbe yourself. It's okay. You're a

not mister charisma. That's fine.Be yourself. Run on your biography,
run on your record, run onyour vision for the country. People may
actually be interested and they it actuallymay resonate, but don't be somebody or

holds his lead and stays true tohis policies and his promises, Trump will
