20th Century Studios and 21 Laps present “The Boogeyman,” a horror-thriller from the mind of best-selling author Stephen King, which opens June 2, 2023, in theaters nationwide. High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.

Well, when there are scary thingswe don't understand, our minds try to
fill in the blanks. Sometimes thebest thing to do is to face it.

There's no such thing as monsters.You need to rolla I'm serious,
sawyer, I need to be alone. The Boogeyman scored a seventy three percent
so far on the audience score ofRotten Tomatoes. I saw this movie and
it's one of those that you definitelydon't want to see alone in a dark
theater. And let's be honest,it's very hard to make a terrifying movie
nowadays. But it's nice to seethat The Boogeyman didn't show too much of

whatever it was lurking in the shadows. I would give The Boogeyman two and
a half out of five stars justbecause there wasn't a lot of scary moments,
more character development than anything else inthe story, which is nice,
but when you want to see ascary movie, you want to get scared.
