Speaker 1 (00:03):
Ladies and gentlemen. Kane brown sits to chat with Bennett
from Most Requested Live. What's going on, man, Good to
see you, Good to see you. Yeah, good to have
you back on the show. How has life been for you? Man?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Busy, three babies, working out in the schedule, doing shows
and music, family time. It's been, it's been creative.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I was about to say, like, how are you balancing
having such a summer smash the tour? A baby, got
three kids under five? Is that right?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Do you hate sleep?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
No, I've actually, you know, I did have to cut
out video games. But other than that, it's been. It's
been nice, you know, kind of figuring out the schedule
and and sticking to it. But there's never never any downtime,
which makes the days fly by.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I bet we'll talk about Miles on the Man. Congrats
on this. Did you know that you had something special
when you were working on this with Marshmallow?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Oh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was just I could tell
because you know, he was excited about it. And when
there's two artists that are excited about it, and I
don't feel like there's anything that can go wrong because
both teams are going to be pushing it and both
fan bases are going to be loving it. So it
was nice whenever. Whenever we got it done in the studio,
I was excited to put it out and then actually,

(01:26):
I think succeeded our expectations.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's amazing. Yeah, we love playing it. It's almost like
when you know you had something that good, it's like
giving a gift on Christmas. You're like, you just can't
wait to give that present out, you know what I mean.
It's like I got something up my sleeve here. Yeah, man,
for sure. And you're also on the Twistery soundtrack, which
I love because it's kind of like the Avengers of
country artists, right, It's like everyone saying Country Classic, it's

(01:52):
a banger. Talk about being on that project as well.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
It was cool. I didn't know, you know, what song
to give them.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Country Classic was one that I really like because it threw,
you know, a lot of old famous songs into one song.
I knew I wasn't gonna put it on my album,
so it was perfect to pitch to them. And I
was excited to be on that project with so many
other artists and the album is actually killing it right now,
so I think it could. It could go down as

(02:22):
one of those you know albums of of the history.
I guess with all the artists that are on.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
It absolutely like a really classic no pun intended. But
you know soundtracks, right, It's like I love soundtrack. Have
you seen the movie?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I haven't yet. I can't wait though, because I love
the original. Don't get I don't have much time to
go to the movies anymore. Yeah, the last time I
went to the movies I saw The Quiet Place and
then I watched The New Bad Boys. But I haven't
been mad since.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah, you gotta see the you gotta see the new movie.
It's it's really good. I was a big fan of
the original too, like so it's they do a justice.
They do it good. I also want to talk about
the song that I think that you're you're teasing on
your Instagram story. I took a peek at that yesterday.
What do you what are you teasing over there on Instagram?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Another song my wife which we have like four, but
I've been dying for that one to come out. It's
called body Talk, and she just actually gets to to
showcase her beautiful vocals, and I think it's just gonna
be another another banger and it's completely different from Thank God.
And then we have another one that's gonna be on
the album that's like a super like Randy Travis carry

(03:37):
Underwood type vibe. So I just love that, you know,
I get to showcase what I love just music in general,
and she gets to showcase that she can do the
same thing. And you know, her voice is just immaculate
and I can't wait to share it for the world.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So good. Yeah, and you two together, it's just incredible.
Do you have a release date for the song or
for the album? Do we have Do we have dates
in place yet or.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Uh? Not yet? Man, I'm I'm we're actually having a
song meeting today for the album, souh figure out what
songs are gonna have on there, what songs were not
gonna have on there. And we would have already least
body talk, but she was pregnant and so we would
have to, you know, shoot a music video and she's like,
I'm not shooting this like a sexy music video while

(04:22):
I'm pregnant. So she's trying to she's trying to get
back in gym shape. Uh, and then we'll shoot the
music video for it.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
That's exciting. It's it's all good things. Uh, well, let's
talk about the new baby. Uh, three kids? How is
dad life and how's the balance? I mean, you said
that your schedule is pretty crazy with you know, a
tour going on. Have you found that balance or is
like every day kind of a work in progress?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Well, so it's it's kind of a work in progress
because like during the day when I'm home, it's it's easy.
But Crewe, my son's too small to travel right now,
especially as far as I'm going because I'll be going
to the West Coast for two weeks coming up here.
So they're they're staying at home with just Kate, but
luckily our nanny's staying the night with her. But it's

(05:10):
three kids in two and usually i'm here, it's you know,
three kids and we have three people here, so it's
one kid a person.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
That's true, that's good.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Yeah, yeah, So it's it's been it's been easy when
I'm home. I can only imagine whenever it's just them
two here. But it's they've they've made it seem like
it was a brief.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
And how's how's tour life been going. We've been following
you on you know, TikTok and Instagram. The shows look insane.
What's been the highlights so far for you?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
We just played Finway that was such a fun show.
Ended up catching the stage on fire by accident. Yeah,
But other than that, it's been awesome. I just love
touring recently. When I first you know, when I first
started out, it's crazy to say things like eight years
ago now I was more of a studio artist. I
just love being in the studio. Now I can't stand

(05:59):
the student. I'd rather just be on stage in front
of everybody and just having fun and you know, making
the crowd forget about what's going on in the world
and things like that.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
You can tell, right just from the footage we see
online and the pyrotechnics and your vocals and the crowd. Yeah,
people come up on stage and singing with you, you're
signing prosthetic. I mean, it just looks like a giant party.
I always wonder though, like, how how are you when
you get off stage? Like when the madness is over, right,
how do you come down from that high?

Speaker 2 (06:29):
We don't. We go back to the green room and
we you know, we party. We play well, we play
water pong, we don't play beer pong. We don't play
We play water pong. I have a like I said,
I love video games. So we have a streaming setup backstage,
so we'll usually turn my stream on and jam out
to music, play water pong on the stream. I usually

(06:50):
have some special guests, like big time gamers like Tim
the Tatman, Bobby Pouff, Cloxie, They've they've been in the
streams a couple of times, and uh, it's really just fun.
I remember one time we had twenty four thousand people
on the stream watching us after the show, so it
was it was just fun. And we always we always

(07:10):
use the energy after stage to do something.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I'm about to say, like you can't get off stage
off that rush and like go read a book and
have some tea right like that, you know what I mean. No, No,
it's like you can't talking about just country music in general.
I mean, you got you got this summer banger, Miles
on of the guys saying like we love playing it,
but I feel like country right now in general, is
is it an all time high right now? Like do

(07:34):
you feel that.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
It's just fun?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Right?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
You know? I've and I've been talking to a lot
of radio people in the country music world, and I've
been writing these nineties country songs and that's what we're
gonna talk about today. Actually, that like took us all day, right,
you know, like eight nine hours. The lyrics are just immaculate,

(07:59):
and show them to some radio people and they're like, man,
it's a beautiful song. They used to work back in
the day, but it's not it's not working today, And
I'm like, what do you mean, Like, this is what
I've been, you know, trying to get and so now
it's like everything. But but everything on the radio these
days in the country is just fun and up tempo
and their party songs like you go to a party.

(08:21):
Used to not hear country music, and now it's it's
everything that's playing. So I have three or four that
I'm really excited about it's going to go on this album.
And then I'm also going to mix it in with
some of these slower, really well written country songs to
see how that goes. But so far, I think that
this will be my favorite album that I released.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
That's exciting. It sounds like a nice balance, right. It
sounds like you have to you know, the heartfelt stuff
and then the banger is that you know, we grow
to custom to, you know, with you, so I'm excited
to hear it.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah, Yeah, I'm pumped. Man, I got I got a
lot of them. I haven't really teased like I used
to do. I usually always tease every song. I think
I've only teased two one last night, the Body Talk,
which is not a country song, and then Backseat Driver
that I have for my daughter that's also just a

(09:16):
really well written song, kind of like a Rodney Atkins.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
That's so cool. I love that, you know, we always
kind of close that with these interviews, and I love asking,
you know, singer songwriters, this the song you wish you wrote?
Is there a song that has come out recently that
you kind of drew inspiration from?

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Man recently, it doesn't happen, honestly, Well, the song that
I wish I had written was Almost Home by Craig
Morgan or Don't Take the Girl by Tim McGraw. I
love those two songs. Recently, I don't usually listen to
a lot of songs that come out because if I'm
working on my album, I usually just listen to the

(09:56):
songs that I'm about to release. But recently I've been
loving Sabo. He's been killing it. The post post Malone
Morgan Wallin song has some health. That one's fire low key.
Nobody even knows this. Uh been listening to uh what

(10:20):
is it? My Daughters of It Sabrina Carpenter. Yes, yeah,
she's been gas that Please Please Please, been stuck in
my head like graydon Right. I love the melody. The
melody is sick. But yeah, I'd say those off the
top of my head.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Yeah. I found myself doing a workout to Sabrina Carpenter songs.
I was like, what's going on right now? But I
expressed it.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
That's a jam two yeah, yeah, that's a great pool song.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Right.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Man, Hey, so good to catch up a little bit.
Have you back on the show, Miles on It is
just crushing it country classic and you know, we just
can't wait to hear what you got next on this
new album. So appreciate the time.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Man, Yes, sir, we're talking to you. Mm hm
