Pickett from the Pittsburgh Steelers in atrade with the Philadelphia Eagles. Multiple reports
(01:15):
are confirming this year. So oncePittsburgh signed Russell Wilson, Pickett, just
from what we learned here this iscourtesy Adam Schefter on Twitter, Pickett preferred
to move on, and the reportsright now the Eagles getting Kenny Pickett a
twenty twenty four fourth round draft pick, the Steelers getting a twenty twenty four
(01:36):
third round pick and two seventh roundpicks in twenty twenty five. Kenny Pickett
off here to the Pittsburgh Steelers cracket. Last night lost to one of the
Washington Capitals, again, nine pointsout of a wildcard spot in the Western
Conference in just seventeen games to play. Tomorrow night, they host the Nashville

it doesn't count until I actually likehit the bench, I hit the squats,
I hit it, and I lovelike injury news is the only thing
I take out at spring training? Is are they healthy? How long is
(02:44):
Matt Brashes aren't going to hold up? Well, he's that's question. Lea
doesn't need tell me John, whichis what we thought when he first had
that injury. But it's a medialinflammation at the elbow. Well, all
I know is that they had togo out and get Ryan Stanik out of
free agency. Not a week ago. Who had a first on the show

My Friend how are you? Ohmy, you man just just stuffing
that portfolio ex with with extra stuff. Congrats man, thank you. Well
most of the show today, guys, you guys have been killing it.
(04:15):
Boss. Boss said about you know, a little before two hours before part
drop yesterday, roughly, hey, could you help out ten to one?
And you know when the boss callsout of the bullpen and you make sure
the arm's ready, right, Ohyeah, oh yeah, absolutely five hours
of sleepy dark. You'll be gettingthat call sometime soon as I'm like,
he was great by the way, like he's been on here, he was
on Softy Show as well. Yeah, doing that one time, he was
(04:36):
awesome. I know, I'm I'mwhat do you call the person below the
person? I'm I'm little boss, and so I will be calling you just
look forward. Yeah, there wego off season. That sounds good to
me because Rich Rich Moore always says, hey, just have an opinion,
and I've got a bunch of opinions. That's the thing I could. I
(04:59):
could the uh fill in host fora day or two. I got some
crazy opinions that shouldn't get too manypitchforks. Well, you know what,
you're doing, a good job.Though, when you're getting the pitchforks and
torches on your Twitter text line everythinglike you made it officially, you made
it well. And that's the thing, right like when when they when they
(05:21):
hate you, they still bring youback. We're baby, well you and
I like we've gone podcasting, youknow, down this road and we can
easily go for about an hours. So hey, the chair is always open
here, my friend, chairs alwaysopen. Yeah. Yeah. So what
happened last night? Two one lostto Washington. Yeah, I mean again,
(05:44):
I'm gonna I'm gonna go back toto the word that that hack has
said a lot this season, execution. I mean, last night, there
were a lot of opportunities, andI think for me, the first period,
first twenty five thirty minutes of thatgame for Seattle almost looked like a
(06:05):
continuation of the first period that wesaw against Vegas and against the Winnipeg Jets,
right Like, there wasn't a wholelot of much happening. Like they
didn't look as bad as they didin the first period. They had some
good chances, but it just itwas almost like the Kraken were stuck in
(06:26):
second year. They finally got itgoing in the second period, but they
still were not able to generate enough. They weren't able to execute on a
lot of areas that would lead tosuccess. And as the game went on,
you know, the Capitals coming offof a seven to two loss in
Edmonton two nights ago, that gamewas right for the picking. If you
(06:49):
were Seattle right, you have anopportunity to put a team back, put
a team down and behind you.And in those situations, the longer that
games stay scoreless, or the longerthat game is one nothing, one one,
whatever the case may be, itfavors the road team in game two
of a back to back, andthe Kraken made a couple of mistakes last
(07:12):
night. Both of them ended upin the back of your debt. I
like what Dave Axtall said last night, We're not going to put that on
Joey Decord. Yeah, you knowhe didn't make the one blunder there,
but listen, I mean, JoeyDecord. We talked so much about how
playing the puck is his strength, you know, and and you're gonna have
one or two of those odd mistakesevery now and again. But I think
(07:34):
last night was was just a fullteam a lapse, if you will,
I mean it was a little sloppyat times. They couldn't get out of
that second gear and ultimately it costhim. See here's where my thinking goes
with that. And we can makeall we want about the Joey Decord fumble
(07:56):
if you will, and you knowplayers are going to make mistakes, but
ultimately we're not getting down to theheart of the matter, and that is
generating offense here. And I sawplenty of times last night when you mentioned
that whole lal they were in lateperiod one into the second period as well,
just a lot of what I callone and don's I mean, they're
(08:16):
getting the puck into the offensive zoneand it's flushed right back out, or
they get one shot on net andthey can't get to any rebounds, and
well that's that for that trip downthe ice, and that's a part of
it. Now. I loved hearingwhat you were discussing with al Koniski last
and about generating offense and that whenyou pass up shots, you're also passing
(08:39):
up chances here to put the puckinto the back of the net. But
where are you noticing with where they'retrying to put shots on and where they're
coming from I mean, what's thebig difference here with say a shot from
the outside versus a shot in betweenyou know the circles. Well, I
think that this team, historically, and we can go back to year one
(09:00):
or two, and then now inyear three, I think this team is
has a habit of being a littletoo selective when it comes to their shots.
It's almost as if they're trying tofind the perfect shot, the perfect
angle. And I hate to soundlike the guy in the three hundred levels
who's six cores lights in right now, but you gotta shoot the buck,
(09:20):
right, I mean, and Ihate that guy. I hate that guy
who always yells shoots on the powerplay. But you know what, you're
missing up opportunities for rebounds. Youknow, Jared McCann a couple of nights
ago, coming down the wing, you know, on his forehand, that
was his shot. He elected thepass and ended up getting broken up.
And I don't want to just pickon him, but there were a number
of opportunities in the last couple ofgames in which Seattle had a high percentage
(09:46):
shot opportunities and they've passed up onthem. So I think that is an
area where I don't know if ifit's individual, I don't know if it's
collective, but the shoot first mentalityneed to have that, and I think
a lot of times, you know, you want to make the fancy pass,
you want to make the spectacular playand the spectacular setup, but sometimes
(10:09):
just putting the puck onto the net, you get a rebound, you send
guys to the front of the cage, crash the net. I mean,
that is how you score goals, especially for a team that's ranking twenty eighth
in the NHL in offense. Lastyear, Seattle, it seemed to flip
flop. You know, this yearyour top ten defensive team and then you
were bottom five, bottom six offensiveteam. Last year you were number two
(10:33):
in the league in offense, numberthree in the league in offense. You
were first in offense five on fivelast year defensive league. Yeah, you
let up a few too many, but you were able to outscore your problems.
This year, you're not seeing alot of that, and I think
it was largely due to the factthat last year's team shot the puck and
that is not something that they wereafraid to do. And I don't see
(10:54):
a lot of that same urgency ona consistent basis when it comes to shoot
at the park and as far aspositionally, as far as situationally. I
mean, listen, if you getto the inside, if you're able to
get into what they call the house, right in the area from the hash
marks to the circles in you know, kind of make a little square there.
(11:15):
I mean, that's the house. If you can get into the house,
you know, that is where yourscoring opportunities increase dramatically. But if
you're being forced to the outside,if you're being forced in the blue lines
around the walls and you're just lobbingputts onto the net, you're not going
to generate as many opportunities as youwould. How much do you believe addressing
the need here for a top linefour it takes care most of this,
(11:41):
if not all of this, Ithink it takes care of a lot of
it. And you know, Ithink I think one of the Cracked's biggest
strengths is the ability to have aa essentially three and a half four headed
monster when it comes to your offense. Right, you've got four second in
lines capable of generating and capable ofscoring. But look, you're coming off
(12:05):
of a season in last year whereyou had thirteen players with career highs and
goals, assists, or points. So counting on more than half your team
every year to have career years,I mean that's not a sustainable bottle.
And if you look around the league, I mean, obviously you take away
your McKinnon, j McDavid's, yourgenerational once in a lifetime talents. Most
(12:26):
teams will have, you know thatthat go to guy right the ringer,
if you will that that when theyneed to take the game over, when
they need a game breaker, youknow you can count on player X,
player Y to be that person. And I think for Seattle because they're so
(12:46):
evenly balanced, because you know, everyone relies on everyone else, there really
isn't that one go to person thatyou can say, hey, we need
a goal. We're going to sendout X and we're gonna eight times out
of ten we're gonna get that goal. Right in Edmonton, you can load
up McDavid, and you can loadup dry Stiles, and you've got Hyman
(13:07):
and Zach and dot came that youcan put on a second line. Right
Toronto, you've got Barner Matthews, you can come back with nielander A lot
of teams around the league have one, two, three, bonafy top six
players that you can put in twentyfive other teams top six forward groups.
The Kraken don't have that luxury. So I'm thinking this season you're gonna have
(13:31):
to go out and address that needfor a skilled, offensively gifted top six
forward, preferably top top one, right, someone you can put on your
top line all eighty two games ofthe season and know that you're gonna get
sixty seventy eighty ninety points out ofthem. Evert fits to you joining us,
Thank you so much the voice ofyour clo Kraken and Everett. Even
(13:54):
though no hope is lost here becausetechnically we're still in it, what is
there to look forward to for therest of this season? I know we
have a lot to look forward beyondit, but what can we look for
from a hope perspective as they moveforward? Well, I mean, listen,
(14:16):
it ain't over till it's over right, right till until you have that
uh, that lowercase E next toyour name in the newspaper, you know,
the the eliminated. I love thatyou referenced a newspaper. I love
it, Hey, that one ofmy favorite pastimes as a kid, opening
up the the Troy Free Press andreading box scores and yeah, New York
(14:37):
for me, I love it soyeah. But until you see that little
e there, you're still always init. But I think right now you're
you're you're shifting towards Hey, we'renot going to give up on this season.
Whatever happens, regardless of where wefinish, we still have seventeen games
off to play. We still we'regoing to to go out kicking. It's
(15:01):
for me, right, and youknow you still can get some help that
it's it's five percent according to moneyPuck if you believe in follow the analytics
and all that stuff. But youknow you can have an opportunity now to
play spoiler right, You've got uhNashville, and you've got a couple of
games left with the King's. You'vegot too of Dallas, Winnipeg still in
(15:22):
them in a SODA's still in there. So you have a lot of teams
that you're playing that are still infights for playoff spots. And I think
for right now, if you're Seattle, you can't hang your head. You
can't give up, no matter howdaunting it may be. And I know
this, this sounds like a SaturdayMorning cartoon. I guess you know what
(15:43):
I mean. But but that thatis what that is what you're you're playing
for right now, because I thinkafter for for all that happened this year,
with all the injury issues that you'vehad, for all of of the
success that we've seen, the JoeyDecord's uh story, his career, you
know, taking off the winner classicthat we saw, the thirteen game point
(16:06):
streak, right, for all ofthe positives that we saw from this team.
You don't want to go out inyour last seventeen games with a thunderous
thud. Right, You want togo into the off season on a high
note. You want to carry somemomentum into the offseason. Hey, this
is what we have. We knowthat there's going to be some changes in
(16:27):
the offseason. We know that afew guys who are here this year probably
won't be back next year. Butyou know what, that's okay. Look
at what we did in the finalyou know, twenty games of the year,
we were able to win more thanwe lost. We made it exciting.
We gave the fans something to getbehind. Because the last thing you
want to do is go into theoffseason on a ten game slide or only
(16:48):
having won four of your last seventeenor whatever it is. You want to
really inspire that hope for the summer, get the excitement building for the summer
into the to the draft, todevelopment camp, and then when September comes
along, after Labor Day you're kickingoff your training camp. You can say,
hey, not the way we wantedto end the season, but look
(17:12):
how we ended the season. Wedidn't give up. We were right there
until the final week of the season, and now we can use that as
a springboard into twenty twenty four totwenty five. He's one goal away from
twenty in the American Hockey League,as we call the Triple A of the
National Hockey League. First round draftpick from two years ago, that's Shane
Wright. So when do you thinkwe'll see Shane right next? Everetton.
(17:36):
You know, I've been going backand forth with this because do you do
what the Kraken did with Matt eVeniers right his first season? You brought
him up in the last ten gamesof the year, See what he can
do. Uh. You know, there's that train of thought, but also
too I mean, Shane Wright playedin the NHL last season, so it's
not like this would be his firsttaste of the NHL. He's having success
(18:00):
the Coachella Valley Firebirds are getting setto go on another what should be lengthy
playoff run. I would leave himdown there, right, I would leave
him down there, Let him gothrough the playoffs, let him get to
another final, maybe, let himwin a championship, maybe down in the
American Hockey League, and then youbring him up, knowing him the kind
of player that he is, thekind of worker that he is. He's
(18:23):
probably going to alex to come todevelopment camp in the summertime, and then
you have him penciled in in yourlineup next year. He's gonna start in
Seattle next season. So why notlet him get every last ounce of confidence
of offense of play that he canget in the American Hockey League where he's
(18:44):
comfortable, and then we start witha clean slate next season in the NHL.
So I've got no issue with RonFrancis and the rest of the management
group if they decide to go thatroute, leaving Shane down in California,
and then we'll see here in Septemberwith the plan of hey, okay,
now you're here for good. Let'ssee what you're made up. Hey,
(19:07):
last question before we cut you loosehere. I know that you're pretty giddy
about your Lions, Dan Campbell GMBrad Holmes signing their extensions here through twenty
twenty seven. So the Lions winthe Super Bowl in the next five years,
yes or no? Yes they do. If Dan Campbell is limited to
how many fourth downs per game? You know, for a seventeen game regular
(19:33):
season, maybe you're only allowed thirtyfourth downs. And in the playoffs,
I don't think you're allowed any ifyou're inside you know, if you're outside
the twenty, maybe outside the ten. Take the points. I love the
move. I think the Lions are. You know, it's hard to tell
them football right. Everyone wants tosay they have a great team. You
know, this could be our year. If there's always next year. Look
(19:56):
at the Falcons, look at theVikings, look at a lot of teams
who are so close to a SuperBowl they've not gotten back since. But
I have a good feeling about theLions next season. Only three games next
year for the Lions are going tobe played outdoors, so there's there's not
a whole lot of external factors thatare going to prevent this team from hopefully
(20:18):
getting back to the playoffs and atleast raising another divisional championship better and maybe
even a Super Bowl better. Hey, I just have a really off the
wall question because apparently the morning showwas ranking us in who they like to
stake to Vegas, and you hockeyguys get left off the list. I
(20:41):
rank very high, and Ashley wasactually my number one pick, even though
I didn't have one. She wouldbe So this is very putting you on
the spot. But who would beyour rankings? And you can include Ben
and al in this? Oh mygoodness, who would I take to Vegas?
Well, I mean, I mean, honestly, Benon Benton's high on
(21:04):
the list just because I number oneworked so hard he earns it. But
number two, I want to seeMike Bennon get a little loose. Yes,
I want to see squirrelly Mike Benton, uh and and what we can
do. And also, you knowwhat, I think Bucky Jacobson would be
(21:27):
riot in Vegas. We aren't talkingabout about Bucky enough. And and I'm
putting justin Ashley on the list. You guys would would somewhat take care of
us, but you would also havethe time of your would get you,
(21:48):
get you into places without you evenhaving to think. We have Bucky to
protect us, perfect and you makesure we didn't get arrested. But yeah,
talked to Copper to my life. You're giving Shelly a big girl your
your your ear, giving Shelley amassive girls night out of me. The
same for Amial so in return,Okay, it all works out. Okay,
(22:11):
we're all going to Vegas. Thanks, you're the basket. Appreciate you,
buddy, all right, that's that. That's ever it fits you joining
us in the Beacon Plumbing hotline. We're not gonna let this score. We're
gonna some way, somehow make ourway into Vegas. We're going. Purple
Sheet might be listening and somehow he'llmake money off of this. Come back
in a bit, okay, allright. One one of two things is
(22:44):
this Rick James found. This wasfound. I just wanted to get into
this one of the podcast actually, and you can use it because it's in
the iHeart Music Lab. There's someonewho knows about this. To my left,
(23:07):
it's Vak. I'm shimmy hammer dance, but very I'm off the five
hours of sleep in a quad shottalking about your sleep. My one go
to here for the day. Itry to ship me. I'm gonna yank
the headphones right out of the sockethere. Oh my gosh, I just
wish I had those pants. Seeeveryone could dance in those pants. I
(23:30):
had a pair of those in thesecond grade, like the big poofy purple
pants with the green triangles and allthat. Oh yeah, didn't we all
have time? I felt like allmy uncles had the hi tops. Also,
Yeah, there is a picture outthere somewhere of me. I don't
know where it is, but itdoes exist. Well, introduce you to
me, the Internet Detective of theyear. Yes, okay, so thank
(23:55):
you for that, Christopher kild Tonightsix to seven o'clock. By the way,
you're going to be one to bedialed in here for this. I'll
try it again, six to seveno'clock. You're going to want to be
dialed in on these area way.Yeah, coach, jet got it.
I can make it here. JetFish and Mike McDonald, yep, I
repeat Jetfish and Mike McDonald. Theconversation they had with Mike Holmgren, the
(24:17):
one and only coach here on theseair waves going down tonight six to seven
pm. Cation missed it. Yeah, it's just it was so wonderful.
I'd listened to that entire hour, probably more than it was just so I
was so grateful that Softy wasn't onmost of it because it was coach Holbrit.
I'm kidding a little softie, butyou know, sometimes just like my
(24:38):
voice, isn't your cup of teaevery once in a while, you listeners
out there, sometimes I just needsome soft soothing Mike Holmgren, and that
hour is going to be fantastic sixto seven. I can't believe he was
actually self conscious about it. Ido a good job in the interview.
He was fantastic. Oh he isso great. That's the thing though,
It's like the consummate coach, right, It's you're never satisfied, so you
(25:03):
have to know how you're going toget better. And you know, I'm
the daughter of a football coach,so I understand that, and I'm like
that too. I'm never satisfied.I always want to be better. So
it's how you drive me, youknow, try to be better, never
settled. Try to be better andnever settled right exactly, but just try
(25:23):
not to kill yourself. That's whyI like the way that Puck taglines of
the show is I promise will bebetter, and I actually promise to be
better. I actually take that toheart. Yes, sorry. What I
loved about about the culture of thecoach holmegrin interviews in the way that he
was able to frame a question. It came from a source of intelligence that
(25:48):
you can't tap into anywhere. Fora guy who's been around multiple NFL locker
rooms, it's experience. Yes,he's coached everyone from Joe on, Tanna,
Steve Young, Brett Farv, MattHasselbeck, and to be able to
take all that experience, frame itinto a question, and then be able
to bridge that question to someone who'snow doing what he used to do years
(26:14):
and years ago. We were ableto get access, I think, to
sides of Jetfish and Mike McDonald.I believe that we have never heard before.
I agree, And there's a lotof trust that comes with that too,
because as young as both of themare, I mean, Mike McDonald
is definitely younger than Jetfish, butJetfish hasn't been in this specific environment before
(26:37):
Mike McDonald though, just listening tohim, and he was so respectful,
and he respectfully dodged some questions thatwere throwing a question for one, oh,
he literally couldn't answer it. Idon't even judge him for that,
but just listening to the way thatthey were speaking there talking to coach,
(27:00):
and you know, this guy isthe age where he could have been playing
for a coach at that time ifhe was an NFL player, And I
do love there. I have thisinsane curiosity if you couldn't tell, because
I'm annoying, very curious about someonewho didn't play beyond you know, high
(27:23):
school in Mike McDonald. I'm socurious in the way that his mind worked
because I worked for eight years withMike Leach, who did not play a
lick of football but viewed it aschess. And I don't I'm not putting
them in the same category. I'mjust saying that I love I'm so curious
(27:45):
as to the way he views thegame because it's so different than what we've
seen before, especially at such ayoung age. So I think that we
are in for such an exciting ridewhen it comes to the Seahawks six to
seven pm tonight, and again we'llhear the conversations that coach Mike Holmgrin had
with Jedfish now the Huskies and MikeMcDonald now with the Seattle Seahawks as head
(28:07):
coach. Twenty second rank Couger's againinto the semi finals last night, they
went over tenth seeded Stanford. Weknow the Cougars are going to make the
NCAA tournament. It's a foregone conclusionhere at this point. But the difference
between winning this thing and or Ishould say, losing in the semis versus
winning it all into the tourney witha full head of team under Kyle Smith,
(28:32):
jess as what is what the biggestdifference? The belief in themselves?
Like I just think that and wehad we had a national analyst on a
couple of weeks ago when I wason Ian Show. And what Kyle Smith
has brought to this team was unitythat wasn't what was there before. They
(28:56):
already had the talent in every teamthat's in a D one program has the
talent, it's how to drive forwardwith it. Kyle Smith brought the unity
that was lacking, and sometimes it'shard to even notice if that even is
a detriment, if that is lacking, you know, everyone's playing hard,
(29:17):
everyone's playing for each other. KyleSmith brought a different element, and I
think that he's the element that theyneeded to go exactly where they're going.
And maybe they got caught up.They heard some noise before that U Doo
game. Okay, but they werestill not going to win the Pac twelve
because Arizona just did Arizona and that'sokay, even though they got the best
(29:41):
of them earlier in the year.I would just say that unity, unity,
and Kyle Smith brought that to thisteam. So that is what will
be the biggest element in this game. I love what they put together.
I love watching Miles Rice play.I love watching Jalen Wells play. And
it's important thought that Rice had aclean game and that's and that win last
(30:02):
night six rebounds and six assists aswell. But again, this is a
team that I said three weeks agothat they can outperform mistakes usually. They
couldn't do it against the Huskies, and we all saw what happened. They
shot horribly that game. That's thatwas fine in the first half. That
was just not their game and it'snot the way they play, and you
know the noise gone to him atleast in my head, or they just
(30:26):
had a bad game. They hada big game for whatever reasons you want
to say. That's not their team. They're better than that, and I
know they will continue to play betterthan this. So I like their chances
that they can play a clean gameis again. They'll be into the semi
finals to nights against Colorado seven thirtyat Team Mobile Arena. On the TV
side, my man college or Ishould say high school classmate, Casey Jacobson,
(30:49):
analyst on the call for no Tha. I love that freshman, small

they on fire? One winner willwin to Alaska Airlines vouchers and yeah,
(33:06):
and you tag your friend. Iwould do that right now, except I
have too many and I feel likeI liked Cable. That's an awesome jersey
guy. Fella Stockton thunder Baby. The very first ever hockey job I had
was there eight years, had Devindube nikon Cracking Weekly about two nights ago.
He was one of the first goaltendersthat I ever had. Was he
there? He played there second yearand all because Edmonton had no AHL affiliate,
(33:28):
and so they said, we're gonnasend you your your your our top
guys here to the e c HL. Nope, the first round, but
to the team who won it allthough, okay, it was a great
Yeah, we we had a greatteam that ye six six he's a big
goalie, yeah, nicknamed giraffe, and he had by about two weeks and
he first had his Kamloops masks. So there was like a big contrast of
(33:51):
like Navy colors orange with like theblack, white and gold jersey, and
then he studied, you know,I'll spend some pro dollars here to change
it up, and got like athoor mask on with like thunder colors in
the very back, though he stillhad the giraffe. He's a tall guy.
Tall goalies I remember, like reallytall six six they like them now.
(34:15):
It's so Milite didn't get drafted untilforever, and that's why Dustin Wolf
didn't get He's just getting bringing intothe NHL now, and he was drafted
like I want to say, almostfive years ago. Now he's just breaking
into their hockey team. What's that? What's wrong with the hockey team?
Can't score? Okay, can't score? That's analysis. That is just a
very but it's true, right,So how do they fix it? I'm
(34:39):
looking more at the Yeah, thissummer. This summer, something's going to
happen. I think top line forward, left wingers, center. I don't
know if it makes a difference herefor you, but they need a game
breaker. And we've heard from differentcorners they need a game breaker. It
takes a heat off of they havehigh end talent, don't have high end
(35:00):
goal scorers. They can't finish, and and they don't even generate shots.
What the first forty minutes last nightI said so like, I mean I
saw a lot of one un doun'sas we call them, like you get
the puck in, it's flush rightback out of the zone, or just
one shot boom, forget it.They never they never matched what they did
last year in terms of the Fordcheck and cycling and all the stuff they
did last year to kind of getto where they were. They never matched
that. They never and that's hard. You can't play that way. Eighty
(35:22):
two games. That's hard to playthat way eighty two. Do you want
a center or a left or aright winger? Doesn't that they need a
wing because they got centers. Imean, Shane's going to be here next
year, right yeah, Shane Benier'sMcCann's better than middle Gord. You don't
need a center. You you're greatwith Jared mccannon as a center. You
need to score. You got toget a scoring winger, two maybe three,
So Sam Ryan Hart's out there, let's do it and from from close
(35:45):
by I mean Vancouver kid, right, yeah, yeah, get them up
here. A forty goal season forhim. My only concern for him though,
is are you getting Sam Ryan hardof a contract year? And can
he can he do the same thingnext year. I almost said something about
not going to say my friends,I think you in the same wavelength about
(36:09):
can they get out of him whatthey need? Jake Ensel also, I
love I would love some Jake Nseil. The question is who can get it
out of him? Mmmm. We'llleave it at that. Yeah, that's
a good one. Okay, that'sa good one. Are you are you?
Are you over the whole Vegas thing? Twenty four hours ago? That
that that the whole you know, you know who who's likeliest to be your
(36:31):
best party? You're in Vegas outof the whole career. Here's a problem
with it, is it? Wewe we did a we were going to
do some texts and get to allthat, and then the Seahawks made another
trade, yeah, or made amove, so we never think so yeah,
thank Sam and Sam Holise. Sowe never even got to it.
So I I'm over it. Yes, I'm over Are you? Though?
I am? No, I'm fine. I mean, I don't even know.
(36:51):
I would really like to enjoy Vegaswith you. I invented early year
Sea. I mean, you atleast made the big dance here. I
got bumped into the vacation. NI t even make it in there.
Really, Yeah, he wasn't evenconsidered. No, I think you'd be
okay in Vegas. I think you'dbe fine. I got that. There's
a side of Benon that we don'tsee. And this is here from experience.
(37:13):
You got to hit some tables,Gotta go to the ghost bar on
top of the palms. I've donethat. You gotta play golf. I'm
taking the sticks out there for sure. For sure when we go, we
play. I play golf that way. It keeps me away from everything else
for like six hours, breaking eightyas usual. Right, Sure, what
you got coming up here? We'regonna check in with Rob rang at two.
(37:37):
We uh he linebackers, linebackers andmore linebackers. We'll talk about that,
well, recap the danger of pickinga quarterback in the draft. I'll
get to that in the first segmenttoday. There is a danger, there's
a and there's and there's precedent forthat. We'll get to some of that.
We never got to this yesterday. We had a great round table yesterday
Morning with the Morning Show with Hughand and Greg and Chuck and Elivius and
(37:59):
and good conversation regarding you know,Jenkins, the safety they signed. We're
gonna get to kind of revisit thatand kind of tweak out and talk about
that a little bit because they reallyhad a pretty good week. Yeah.
Like, I think they had apretty good week, and it started out
with a ton of stress on Mondayand Tuesday, Oh what are they doing?
They're not doing anything. Then Ithink by the end of the week
Hawks did a pretty good jump. They pretty had a pretty good Weeks'll kind
of recap all that, and thenthey get to Ranger. All right.
(38:20):
He ends up next filling in forfucking Jim Big. Thanks Jessamn, Chris
Kidd, I might see you howa goo weekend Danger, no shoes,
