Speaker 1 (00:00):
My grandmother's church was having some type of event and
she needed me bring some things to donate. So I
went over to drop off some toys for the kids,
and my grandmother asked me they needed some more help
for volunteers. So listen, I had nothing to do, so
I hung around. Yeah, and you know, listen, it's for
the kids. So anyway, she put me next to this
(00:24):
young lady that was also volunteering, and somehow we started talking.
I mean, it seemed like God brought me to this
church for a reason.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
That Okay, so you asked her out and you just
want to celebrate new love or how did this end?
Speaker 1 (00:43):
I didn't ask her out, but with the help of
my grandmother and some of the church members, yeah, I
got her information. I found out that she was single. Okay,
so oh that made me really, really, really happy. So
I think I just needed a little help from you
guys to see if she's interested in me.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Oh so you want us to be like the middle
person in case there's bad.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
News, look, yes, kind of yes.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
All right, Well, what is this woman's name?
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Tell me Serena?
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Okay, all right, let me get Serena on the phone.
We'll figure it out.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Hi guys, Happy holidays.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Happy holidays, Serena, girl, how you mind me asking like,
are you a grandmother?
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Vet?
Speaker 4 (01:26):
In the game, I'll ask her how old are you?
Speaker 3 (01:28):
You know I'm above fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Okay, well, you know what, it doesn't really matter. I
was just curious. So you met a young man by
the name of Chris at a recent church.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Drive, just recently? Yes, I did, girl.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
You made a lasting impression on that man.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
He initially went to just go drop off some gifts
for his grandma and ended up meeting you, and he
is taken with you.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
You know, he was a really nice guy. But are
you trying to say that he like likes me? Likes
me like bad?
Speaker 4 (02:00):
I'm gonna let him tell you. He's on the phone
waiting to talk to you about it.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Oh I Serena, Hey Chris, happy holidays.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
My brother is more happy now that I'm talking to.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
You as nice.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
I was just wondering if you don't mind me be
going out on a date with me. I know that
old fashioned, but would you mind now?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
You know I have known your grandmother for a few
years now, going to this church, I know it's my
first time meeting you, but I'm pretty shocked that you
would be like even attrusted to me.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Honestly, the man said it felt heaven since.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I like a mature woman.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
He's kind of put it all out there if you're
uncomfortable with the age difference, and we completely get that
part too.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
You know what, his grandmother is an angel, so I
know he comes from a solid family, and I would
not have a problem to you know, get to know
him a little better. I'm open to it.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Okay, okay, Well look at that. It might be going
down for you, Chris.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
There you go, all right there? Well, I will appreciate
you guys.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Of course, I am so curious to see how this goes.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
I feel like there's a couple of things wrong here,
but hey, you know what, I feel like both of
you were doing good work for the church.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
You know, it was a great event.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
You guys met and connected and you just never know
what you know, God's going to give you.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
So I'm hoping it goes really well.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I appreciate you guys.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
It's arena. I cannot wait.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
You got it, Chris. I look forward to it as well.
