Speaker 1 (00:00):
Alrighty you guys ready, we're going to Southington for second
date update. Maggie's on the line. Hey Maggie, Hi, Hey,
welcome to the show. Welcome to second date Update. I
hope we can help you out. Obviously, you went on
a great first date. Tell us about it.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yeah, so we went on a great first date. We
did meet on Tinder, which can always be kind of dangerous,
but he took me out to dinner. We had a
really good time. We had like so much in common,
and there was a lot of flirting. So I am
I know, hence why I was shocked that I got ghosted.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Did you reach out to him after the date at all?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
So? Yeah, I texted him a couple of times, and
then I called and left him a message like thanking
him and suggested that we go out together again. And
it's just been over a week and he never responded.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Hmm okay, and there was obvious flirting.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
You're telling me, oh yeah, good time.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Hi.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
Are there any parking lot activities after the date? If
you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
What wouldn't you like to know?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:00):
Okay, So I guess that's a yes, Jeff.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
There was a little bit of parking lot activity.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
All right, all right, see there was Okay, Well then
I misread that one, Maggie.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I have no idea if you have a little parking
lot love.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I mean, maybe it was too much for him, But
I think what we're gonna do is call up Cole
and we're gonna ask him to be honest and tell
us about the data. Are you ready to find out
why you're getting ghosted?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I am ready. Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
She says.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
It was only a moderate amount of like heavy petting.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
In the I mean, aren't you supposed to leave him
want more?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I feel like moderate is a lot moderate.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
The moderate amount is a lot like moderate. Exactly. Hi
is Cole there?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Hey Cole, it's Courtney.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
It's Walmart Jeff.

Speaker 6 (01:50):
Hey, Cole, it's Savannah.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
We're calling from Kiss ninety five to seven. You're on
the radio.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Okay, Well, you run something called.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Second Date up.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
If somebody goes on a first date and they get
ghosted after that, they call us and we try to
get answers.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
So you're on second Date update this morning.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
All right, well, good morning, good good morning.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
He all right, let me refresh your memory, Cole.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Maggie called us, said you guys met on tinder went
out for a great date. I guess you guys had
a lot in common. You went to a restaurant. She
said there was a lot of flirting.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Some heavy petting in the parking lot too.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
She said it was a moderate amount of things happening
in the parking lot, and to me, moderate is a lot.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
But whatever, I'll talk about that later.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
So, Cole, you're ghosting her. She's reached out to you
for a second date. Do you want to tell us
was it? Was it too much action for you in
the parking lot or why are you ghosting her?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yeah? It was kind of weird, to be honest, Okay,
Right when we got to the restaurant, I I put
her person on the ground and she flipped out. It
was kind of weird.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, all right, So you mean, like, so when she
walks into the restaurant on you hold her purse, did
you pull out the chair or something or what?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Yeah, I mean I don't want to put the person
on the table, so I put the purse on the ground.
And when I put on the ground, it was it
was like mayhem. I mean, she was she was rude
and she she snapped at me just because I guess
I put the purse on the ground. I was just
trying to, uh, just trying, I guess, trying to be
a gentleman. But she has the waitress to bring another
chair over, which I was kind of confused about. But

(03:29):
the chair was for the purse.

Speaker 7 (03:30):
Oh wait, okay, col let me ask you a question.
You might not know the answer to this, but was
this a designer purse by any chance?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I mean it had a big, a big C on it,
so maybe I guess.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Yeah, okay, so can we bring her away?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Can I just ask quick before we bring Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I think Savannah does Cole, is this the only reason
you're ghosting hers?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Because she freaked out because you put her purse on
the floor? You didn't?

Speaker 4 (03:59):
I mean, yeah, definitely was it was a little It
was a little design to be honest, all right?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Before we bring her on, Savannah, do you want to
tell them what you think the possible why she freaked
out or not?

Speaker 6 (04:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (04:08):
So I think what happened was when you have a
designer bag, you have to treat them with love and
with care because they're very expensive, and so when you
put a two thousand dollars person on the floor.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
It's very you know, disrespectful.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
To the person that you know worked hard and made
the money to afford that person.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Yeah, but I mean, in Cole's defense, I can't tell
a TJ Max purse, you know, from a channel purse
or whatever it's called.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Okay, first of all, it's it's Chanel.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
But then additionally there's some people like Courtney who think
it's bad luck to put a person on the floor.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Gotch, I don't have a designer bag. I just don't
put it on the Can we bring her in and
see if that Maggie, are you there?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I am here. Thank you Savannah for defending my honor.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
Is it a designer for guys? What I'm here for?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Is it a designer bag?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
It is a Chanel bag. I'm sorry, I remember that
I snapped. I just I did work hard to afford that.
So I really was like triggered by going on the ground.
But I will not do it again.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Might I?

Speaker 7 (05:04):
Might I make a suggestion? Oh boy, no, it's it's
actually really good suggestion.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
So I have this thing. I bought it on Amazon.
It's like a purse holder.

Speaker 7 (05:11):
It's like a hook, so you put it to the
top of the table and then you can actually hang
your bag on it. This way you don't have to
ask for a share, and it doesn't have to go
on the floor, and I keep it in my nice bags.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
So this way we don't have this Issuhow.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Actually that's a great suggestion, right.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
You know, Maggie, Savannah will send you the link for that.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
But so are you?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Are you officially apologizing to Cole for snapping at him?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yes, I am sorry for snapping at you.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
I'm sorry for not knowing. But you know, next time, Yeah,
next time I see the big sea on it, I
know not to put it on the ground.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Does that mean there's.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Go see we both learned.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Okay, Well, since he says next time, here's what I'm
gonna do. I'm gonna offer to pick up the tab
for the second date if you both agree to go.
Maybe don't bring a designer handbag with you for the
second date, And.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
So we'll just get the purse hook and see how
it goes.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
You guys want to a second date and we'll pick
up the tab.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I would love to.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Yeah, let's do it.
