Jared from Glastonbury went on a great first date, and now he's being ghosted. He wants to know why his date isn't returning his calls.

Yeah, me too, me too. So listen, I went on
a great first date okay with if I can use
their name, with his girl named Ashley, okay, and we
met at a bar for a happy hour, and you know,
it was definitely kind of a little bit of sparks flying,
you know, some flirting, and I literally had a great time.

And I've tried to call her twice and I've left
messages each time, Okay, and I keep getting ghosted and
I have no idea why. I don't know what I did, Guys.
I was a gentleman, paid for everything. Thought it went well.

Okay, That's what I was going to ask, like, did
you pay? So it's happy hour though, Jared? Did you
get drunk? Did you drink too much?

maybe a little bit too aggressive with the flirting.

I don't think so. I mean again, I you know,
as we all get older, we learned, you know, faux
pause and what not to do, and so I was
just doing my best to be respectful. There was a
lot of laughing going on. She has a beautiful smile.
I don't know.

I have no idea why you would be getting ghosted.
We're gonna call her up, Jared, and we're just gonna
ask her. To be honest, You're gonna be listening in

Yeah. I did get a weird vibe though, because at
one point during the date he told me that he
doesn't believe in celebrating any holidays. Is not really like
I only celebrate Sinko to Mayo and Saint Patrick.

Okay, so it's not a religious thing. It's not like
a religious thing. It's more like a Jared thing.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Yeah, it sounded like he was only interested in going
to the or like celebrating the holidays where you go
to the bar and like you don't really value like
family or love or you know that kind of thing.

At one point he said that he said that Valentine's
Day was made up by greedy women.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Okay, well that's offensive. He has a point.

Okay, Jared, Okay, guys, Jared, is this I mean, honestly,
you're telling somebody on a first date that you you
only celebrate sego to myle St Patrick's Day and Thatvalentine's
Days for greedy women.

Come on, Jared, No, actually, look, I mean, you know,
Thinko to Mayo, Mexican Independence. There you go. You know,
Saint Patrick's Day, I mean all admire the man, I
mean spreaded. You know, a great amount of Christianity, you
know in Ireland and around the country and around the world.
But then you know you look at this homework holiday

of Valentine's Day. I mean, give me a break. You know,
this scrapt is completely made up, you know, and it's
just for women who want gifts. In my opinion, listen,
if you're a good person, you know you guys are
in a good relationship. Every day is Valentine's Day. If
you're at the store, you see something that's her favorite color,
you know, you get her a little tiny thing. But like,

why have to go bend over backwards on this one day?

Usually the point I offer to pay for the next date,
like we'll pick up the tab, is there any there

other again.

I'm not interested in hearing that monologue every time a
holiday rolls around. I'm gonna pass. I'm going to pass.
