Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm so excited you guys. I hope we can make
a love match. We're going to Glastonbury this morning. Second date,
up date, Jared's on the line. Got ghosted after first date.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Good morning, Jared, Hey, good morning guys. Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Well, you're welcome. I hope we can help you out.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Jared.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, me too, me too. So listen, I went on
a great first date okay with if I can use
their name, with his girl named Ashley, okay, and we
met at a bar for a happy hour, and you know,
it was definitely kind of a little bit of sparks flying,
you know, some flirting, and I literally had a great time.

(00:38):
And I've tried to call her twice and I've left
messages each time, Okay, and I keep getting ghosted and
I have no idea why. I don't know what I did, Guys.
I was a gentleman, paid for everything. Thought it went well.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Okay, That's what I was going to ask, like, did
you pay? So it's happy hour though, Jared? Did you
get drunk? Did you drink too much?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Oh? No, no, hmmm, And.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
There was flirting. You felt like a chemistry and a connection.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Right, No, for sure, this is what I.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Like to call deck the Halls season.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
What does that mean? What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (01:15):
These ladies are only in it for like the Hallmark
Christmas y kind of romance movie ending, you know, so.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
He wasn't romantic in it.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Are you a like a big time lawyer in a
city that went to a small town and went to
a Christmas street farm?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I hate you so much. Yeah, I'm just saying with
hot chalcol Yeah you guys, Okay, how about this question.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
You said there was flirting going on where you were
maybe a little bit too aggressive with the flirting.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I don't think so. I mean again, I you know,
as we all get older, we learned, you know, faux
pause and what not to do, and so I was
just doing my best to be respectful. There was a
lot of laughing going on. She has a beautiful smile.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Oh my gosh, you you actually sound like a great guy.
I have no idea why you would be getting ghosted.
We're gonna call her up, Jared, and we're just gonna
ask her. To be honest, You're gonna be listening in
the whole time. So if at any point you want
to talk to Ashley, you can okay.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
All right, sounds good, sounds like a nice guy.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Maybe he's too nice.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
We didn't ask how many messages he said, a couple
he might have left her like, you know, back to back,
good point, like low key stocker vibes.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah, fe Hello, Hi, he's Ashley there.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, I'm Ashley.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Hey Ashley, I'm Courtney. Hey, I'm Walmart.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Jeff.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Hey, Ashley, I'm Savannah. Nice to meet you, and we're
calling from.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Kiss ninety five to seven. I gotta let you know, Ashley,
you are. You're on the air this morning.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Oh okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Well we do something.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Called second date Update, where if you go on a
first date, maybe you have a great time, you felt
a connection and there's chemistry, but then you get ghosted
after that date. You want to answers, you call us,
and I gotta be honest. Jared called us.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
Oh Jared, okay, So let me tell you.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
What Jared told us. Jared said, you guys met for
a happy hour. He did say you have a beautiful smile.
He did, indeed, right, he felt there was chemistry, there
was a connection.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
He said, you talked about a palletha of.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Things and he has no idea why he's getting ghosted.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Okay, how is the date for you?

Speaker 5 (03:30):
It was? It was good, Okay, it was fun. Okay,
you know, definitely we're both you know, learning a good amount.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Okay, so there's good. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Yeah. I did get a weird vibe though, because at
one point during the date he told me that he
doesn't believe in celebrating any holidays. Is not really like
I only celebrate Sinko to Mayo and Saint Patrick.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Okay, so it's not a religious thing. It's not like
a religious thing. It's more like a Jared thing.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Yeah, it sounded like he was only interested in going
to the or like celebrating the holidays where you go
to the bar and like you don't really value like
family or love or you know that kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Okay. Was he joking? No? Okay.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
At one point he said that he said that Valentine's
Day was made up by greedy women.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Okay, well that's offensive. He has a point.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Yeah what no, No, Jared, that is crazy to say.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
All right, can I'm gonna I'm gonna bring him on, Jared.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Okay, Jared, Okay, guys, Jared, is this I mean, honestly,
you're telling somebody on a first date that you you
only celebrate sego to myle St Patrick's Day and Thatvalentine's
Days for greedy women.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Are you just joking?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Come on, Jared, No, actually, look, I mean, you know,
Thinko to Mayo, Mexican Independence. There you go. You know,
Saint Patrick's Day, I mean all admire the man, I
mean spreaded. You know, a great amount of Christianity, you
know in Ireland and around the country and around the world.
But then you know you look at this homework holiday

(05:25):
of Valentine's Day. I mean, give me a break. You know,
this scrapt is completely made up, you know, and it's
just for women who want gifts. In my opinion, listen,
if you're a good person, you know you guys are
in a good relationship. Every day is Valentine's Day. If
you're at the store, you see something that's her favorite color,
you know, you get her a little tiny thing. But like,

(05:45):
why have to go bend over backwards on this one day?

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Thousands of get.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
God, you are a revolutionary Ashley, you really are revolutionary.
Usually the point I offer to pay for the next date,
like we'll pick up the tab, is there any there
is there any desire for you guys to see each
other again.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
I'm not interested in hearing that monologue every time a
holiday rolls around. I'm gonna pass. I'm going to pass.
I'm sorry to hear it, but it's definitely a note
from me.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I was thinking the same thing that, like, maybe reel
that in a little, Jared on your next date.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
I mean, I know we understand how you feel, but
like so aggressive. Oh lord, well you got your answers, Jared.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
There you go, Ashley, thank you so much for being honest,
and I get it. A woman wants to feel special
and definitely not being told she's greedy on.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
A first date. I got that. Yeah. Oh you guys,
thanks for being on second date.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Update.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Hey, thank you,
