Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you guys, are you ready for a second date? Update? Yeah,
let's do it.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Go on to West Hartford today, hopefully making a love connection.
Natasha's on the line. She went on a great first
date and for some reason, she says she's getting ghosted
and wants to know why. So good morning, Natasha.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Good morning, Hey, welcome to the show.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, I hope I can help you out.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
The producer says, you want on a date with a
guy named Mark.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Tell us about this great first.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Date I did.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
And why I'm calling in is because I don't really
know why I'm getting ghosted because everything kind of seemed
super great.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
All right.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
So we went on a first date. We was only
had one date, and we went to this brewery and
I love breweries because you know, you could go and
they have like food trucks and stuff, and it's also
like you know, pick and choose whatever you want. And
we just kind of like sat and talked the whole
evening and you know, nobody was looking at their phones.
We had great conversations. I think ew both of us

(00:58):
had like two beers or whatever. And now I like
can't get a hold of him, and I like want
to go on a second date, and I don't really
know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
So you felt chemistry, you felt like there was a connection,
you were attracted to him. Did you feel like he
was attracted to you?

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yeah, absolutely, And like I said, like like nobody was
like distracted by their phones. Like we were just kind
of talking to each other, and like we both were
in the moment and it was just kind of nice
to have a genuine human connection, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Do you feel like maybe you had too much to
drink with two beers?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Well, I don't know. You don't know two beers. Somebody
who doesn't drink could be a lot. That's valid. That's valid.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Oh no, I have a very high tolerance.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I'm not all right kind of girl.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
It's not like we were doing stouts or anything. You know,
Like I had a few. So I had two sours,
which I think was like maybe five point six. Okay, okay,
But we had like poutine fries and everything, and we
were there for a couple of hours, So all right,
you know, totally fine.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Well you weren't talking the whole time, were you? So
go on, No, I'm.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Talking a lot now, but no, I wasn't, you know,
I was asking a lot of questions. He was asking
a lot of questions like it just it really just
kind of seems super genuine.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Okay, you sound great and it sounds like it was
a great date. So we're gonna give him a call.
We're listen, we're gonna call him. We're gonna ask him
why he's ghosting you. If you're ready for us to
just come right out and ask him and get the answers,
we're ready to call him.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Let's call.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
She sounds fabulous. I would like to go to a winery.
Weather forget the brewery.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
I mean she knows a lot about beer, Like I
feel like guys would be like really into that.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Or maybe he was intimidated by her beer knowledge. Oh,
toxic masculinity.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Let's see.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Hi is Mark there?

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Uh yes, hey.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Mark, it's Courtney marky Mark, it's Walmart chef.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Hey Mark, it's Savannah and we're calling from Kiss ninety
five to seven.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yes, good morning, you're on the radio.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Oh wow, wow, good morning guys, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Good howdy good.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
So I gotta tell you you're on something called second
date update. When somebody goes on a first date and
they have a great time, but then they get ghosted.
They call us and we try to get the answers.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yeah, okay, yeah you know what I think I heard
about it.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Yeah, okay, So we just want you to be honest.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Natasha called us, said, you guys went to a brewery.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
She said it was fabulous.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
You didn't even have your cell phones out, Like, it
was a great conversation. She felt a connection, maybe a
little bit of flirting back and forth. She reached out
to you because she wants to see you again, but
you're a ghostinger.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah so I mean, look, okay, so, like honestly, yeah,
so I go on a date with Natacha. I think
she's great, right, Like, yeah, I don't. I don't feel
great about about her. I think she's great. But the
thing is, like I just I don't really feel like
she she has like the time to date.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Okay, to be honest, like, but what what makes you
think she doesn't have the time to date? If she
called you, if she told you for a second date?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I mean so, yeah, So we had a great date
that first time. But while we were going out, right, like,
while we were kind of getting to know each other
and stuff, she mentioned at one point that she she
goes to the gym, right, but like she she's like
kind of a full gym rat. Like she goes to
the gym Monday through Thursday.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
What does that got to do with going on another date?

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Right?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
I mean why you ghost?

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Yeah, she goes Monday through Thursday and Saturdays and those
are her gyms. Mean she got Fridays and Sundays. She
I don't think she's got time for like a love interests,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Well, I mean, okay, can I I'm gonna bring he
wrong because she's been listening in that's what we do.
I feel like you're jumping to conclusions without even talking
to her. Natasha Mark said he's been ghosting you because
he thinks you're too busy to have a relationship or
at least, you know, go on dates.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah, I guess I'm just kind of conduced to to like,
why you think I'm too busy?

Speaker 4 (04:59):
You know?

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Like what what gave you that impression?

Speaker 4 (05:04):
I mean, like, I don't did you hear like what?
I just so like, I mean, if you go in
the gym like Monday through Thursday and Saturday, that gives
you like two days a week, Like maybe to kind
of squeeze me in.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Wait, hold on, question, Natasha, how long do you spend
at the gym? Is this like an hour session or
are you there for like three or four hours at
a time?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Because I don't understand me.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
I'll do like an hour and a half of like
weight training and then like forty five minutes of cardios,
so it's like fifteen or something. But I go, I
have I have an early job in the morning, so
I like go in the PM, you know, like during
dinner time and everything. And I told him that, like,
I mean, like that, I just wouldn't want to, you know,

(05:49):
go out drinking one of those days because we wouldn't
be able to go out until like nine thirty or something.
But I don't, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Okay, can I just I feel like it's all a
big misunderstanding. You had a great time, he said, he
had a great time. But Natasha, if we were to
pick up the tab for a second date, would you
take one night off for that date? Would you say, like, yeah,
let's go out on a Thursday night. I'm not going
to go to the gym. Is that something you could do?

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Absolutely? I mean if you would have just asked, I
would have been like, yeah, I'll take a Thursday off.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
That's what I'm thinking. Here we go, Mark, you were
making too many assumptions.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
If she's down to take a look, I mean, I'm
super I'm with it. If she's taking time off for me,
then like, I mean, that's something that we could work out.
You know.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
All right, Natasha, are you still interested after hearing it
all he had to say to go on a third
d second date?

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Yeah, I think a misunderstanding.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I think so too. And this is what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I'm gonna put you guys on hold for a second
because I do want to offer to pay for the date.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
We are going to pay for this date and then
just keep us posted.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Either Natasha or Mark call us back after the next date,
let us know how it goes. Okay, sure, okay, hold on, Yes,
you guys are going to do it.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Hold on and thanks for being on second date. Update
