Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you ready, guys, Yes, all right, let's do it.
We're in Bloomfield this morning. It is second Date Update.
That's when you get ghosted after a first date and
you need some answers. You call us, We get the answers.
We have got Seth on the line. Who's getting ghosted?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Good morning, Seth, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Oh my gosh. I hope we can help you out. Obviously,
you know what second date Update is all about. Tell
us about this first date you went on that was
so great.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Oh god, he was so wonderful, he said. He picked
me up. Okay, in his he had like a like
a Rolls Royce, which like I had only heard about
and never.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Actually what, oh my.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
God, yeah, like I had never seen one in person.
But yeah, he opened the door for me and it
was yeah he was. He was. He was like a
prince charming. And so he took me to this to
this country club and yeah, I had to get all

(01:01):
dressed up for dates, which is really nice.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I love this.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah, and yeah, he he took me, took me to
this restaurant at the country club where everybody knew him.
Like the moment he walked in, everyone was like, oh, yeah,
it's nice. I have never I have never seen how
the other half lives. And it was insane. And he

(01:27):
tells me to order anything I want off the menu,
and he was making eye contact and just like looking
into my eyes and he told me how beautiful my
eyes were. And okay, I mean he would like occasionally
like just touch my hand across the table. I all right,

(01:49):
it was so romantic.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Okay, here's the deal. The producer says, the guy you
went on the day with his name is William, and
I also have in my notes that you reached out
to him. So what did you do? Text him or
call him in and he never responded?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah, well, first I texted him, okay, to say just
to thank him. I had never I had never been
taken on a date like that where someone paid for everything,
spoil and saying that I would love to see him again,
that he doesn't have to be his fancy for whatever

(02:23):
date we go on next. I just I just really
enjoy his company.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
All right, let's get some answers. I want to know
for you because maybe it's just a little miscommunication, because
I love this for you. It sounds like the best
date ever. So here's what we're gonna do. You're gonna
be on hold. I'm gonna call William and I'm just
gonna ask him to be honest and ask him why
he's ghosting you. Are you ready for answers?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I think so. Yes.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
He doesn't talk a lot, so maybe it was just
too much talking for William. Maybe you know, that's the
only thing I could think of. I mean, after a
date like that, i'd be gushing too. That's crazy. Rolls Royce,
Where do you ever see those? In Connecticut? Do they
still make them? Hi's William?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
There?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
He Hi William. It is Courtney. Hey will it's Walmart chef.
Hey William, it's Savannah. We're calling from Kiss ninety five
to seven. You're on the radio.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Oh okay, hello, walking to the show.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yes, William, I have to tell you you're on Second
Date Update. So if you listen to the show, it's
actually a feature we do. If you go on a
first date and it's fabulous, but you get ghosted, call
us and we get the answers. So we're calling you.
You're on second Date Update. Okay, all right, So I
will be honest with you, and I want you to

(03:35):
be honest with us. Seth called us, he's oh, I see,
he said you took him on a date that was magical.
You picked him up in a Rolls Royce, you brought
him to the country club, You had a great meal,
good conversation. He said. There was flirting going on, like
obvious flirting. He really wants to see you again, but
you have not responded to his messages.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yes, so we did have a good time, that's for sure. Okay, Well,
you know, I there's a big problem though for me.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Okay, what to tell us? The problem?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Then? He is obsessed with these two little dogs that
he has. Okay, and I have dated men in the
past've had dogs, and you know, it just doesn't fit
my lifestyle. I like to be able to, like, on
a moment's notice, just get up and go and hop
on a plane to the Bahamas or you know, go

(04:33):
out to California. When you've got dogs, you can't do
stuff like that. You've got to like arrange for dog
sitters or you know, who's going to take care of
the dogs, and what are they gonna do with their dog?
You know, And it's just too much.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
For me, William. So what you're telling me is you're
ghosting Seth because of his dogs. Seth is on the line.
Are you hearing this, Seth?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Oh hello, Oh my god, I Lucinda and fists are
that big of an issue for you?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, he doesn't like dogs.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
You know. I've dated men in the past that had dogs,
and it's always, uh, it just doesn't fit my lifestyle.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
I'm sorry, how would they be impeding your lifestyle? I
carried them around. They are well behaved dogs.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
They or my baby, Seth, your dogs are small enough
for you to like bring places and carry around.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Oh for sure. I take them with me everywhere. They're
little malteses.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Okay, so still an o for you, William.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, it's just, you know, it's just too much becomes
more about the dogs and about the person, and you know,
it's just not something I really want to want to
get involved in.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I think you're just not a big fan of having
like Seth pay more attention to the dogs than you.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Is that it?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I mean that could certainly be it. You look at
how he talks about them, you know.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah, well, they've been in my life for a longer
time than you like. They're my babies. Of course, I'm
gonna well good.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
They have your life with your babies. But you know
that's something I want to have. I want to be
a part of Seth.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Can I just can I just ask a question. You're
willing to give up rolls, royces and country clubs for
two little dogs?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Yes? Oh sorry, yeah, they're my babies. I don't think
I can go out with someone who doesn't understand. I mean,
he's wow, someone who's clearly incapable of wanting to love
someone else like I just.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Oh, gim me you freaking break, Come on, Okay, I
just don't like dogs, you know, all right.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I don't want to get into this like yelling match
or anything. It's not a great fit. The two of
you are just a little too different, you know. And
I think you're right, William. You looked up and go
and jet set and that's what you need in Seth.
You need somebody who loves dogs.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Like you do.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
So it's just not a great match. And I and
I hope you and I'm glad you got your answers.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah, yeah, me too.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Oh well, give I think it was Sindo and Rufous
give them little kisses for us.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Squishes, Oh I will I will for sure.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
All right. And you guys, good luck with everything and
keep us posted, you know, if you find that dog
lover Seth or somebody to travel the world with. William.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Okay, well, hopefully hopefully I won't need to call again.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, I hope not to. Well you guys, thank you
so much for being on a second date.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Update all right, I have a good one.
