good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Well, welcome to second Date Update. Obviously you know what
it's all about.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
I know.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Okay, So the producer says, you went on a date
with a guy named Max.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Tell me about this fabulous date with Max.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
I did.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
He's like, very sweet, we had a very hallmark estate.
So we went to the shore. We got some ice cream,
and we walked along the beach like it was very cute.
And I'm just so confused on why I feel like
I'm getting ghosted right now because I thought the date
(00:37):
went perfectly fine, like it was magical.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Good conversation. Did you feel like there was flirting? Was
there any flirting going on?
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Absolutely? Yeah. I felt like we hit it. We had
an amazing you know.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Chemistry when you guys were on the beach.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Did he stop and pick up like seashells and needles
for you and stuff like that, needles to get beaches,
Let's be.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Honest, definitely like pick us some shelves.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Okay, all right, okay, And you reached out to him
to thank him for the date or whatever, hoping for
a second date, and that's he's just not returning your
call or text.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah I did. I uh, like thirty minutes after our date.
I was like, you know, I made it home, like
I was texting him thank you and all that.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Okay, And so you're getting totally ghosted and you want
you just want answers.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
You want to find out why you're getting ghosted.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
M hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah, Well this is what we're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
We're gonna have you on hold. We're gonna call Max.
We're gonna ask him about the date as well. You're
going to be listening in at any point if you
want to chat with Max or talk to him, feel
free to jump on the line.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Okay, okay, all right, here we go. Let's call him.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
I would do a sure date, but but don't want
to wear a bathing suit.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
We don't have to wear.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
But if you're going to go to the beach, if
it's a beach day, you do.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Hello is Max there?
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Oh yeah, Hey is Max? Hey?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Hey Max, it's Courtney Max. It's Walmart chef. Hey Max,
it's Savannah. You're on the radio. You're on Kiss ninety
five to seven this morning.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Oh hey guys, Hey, how's it going on?
Speaker 1 (02:11):
It's going.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Well, listen, I have to tell you you're on the radio
because it is Second Date Update, And if you're familiar
with the show, then you know about Second Date Update.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah I do. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
So that means you're ghosting someone after a great first
date and I'll refresh your memory.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Because you could be like a data halic. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Lindsey called us and said, she went on like a
date that was so beautiful. It was like a Hallmark movie.
You went to the shore, you walk the beach, you
had a great time. But now you're ghosting her.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
No, a date was good, it was great, she's great
and we had a really good time together.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh okay, then why if the date was great and
she's great, was there just not a connection?
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Did you not feel like a romantic connection?
Speaker 4 (02:57):
No? I felt like there could be something there, but
I just didn't. There's something, uh, like like life stuff
that that I'm just that that wasn't working for me.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, like long term values or like marriage, kids, religion,
like what what are what's going on?
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Secret throughout?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
No?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
So so she said on a profile like what she
does for work, and she says, you know dancer and uh,
And I was like cool, like works with kids or
you know, does ballet recitals or you know, teaches kids
or whatever. Nice, but yeah, but I found out it
is that she's actually a stripper.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Oh nice, Oh oh dancer dancer Okay, oh.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Okay, this is lindsay Himax. I just have to jump
in right now, and I'm I'm completely appalled and offended
by your opinion right now.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Okay, well it's my I mean, you didn't say anything.
It's pretty different to say you're like a dancer, like
are you in a are you like a ballet dancer?
You teach kid? Like that's a I actually.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Have a background in ballet. I do have a background
in ballet, but I did choose to be a stripper,
and I don't understand why, like there's so much stigma
around that. And then coming I didn't get that vibe
from you when we were on the date, so I'm
very surprised.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I mean, I don't know if there's like stigma. It's
just like I feel weird taking it home to see
my grandma. If like that's what you do for it,
like whatever, people have it as a job, but it's
just I don't want to It's not really for me,
you know, Okay, Wow.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
It's a legitimate job though, Like I have to do
customer service, I have to like be physically fit. There's
a lot of skills that go into my job.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
And you probably make good money. Do you make good money? Lindsay?
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I make six figures?
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Oh go girl, there's a lot of lap dancers figures.
It's over one hundred thousand, you know, I know.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
I kind of feel like we should reconsider our career
choices at this point. So can we just so, yeah,
I made.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
One hundred thousand dollars last year and this year I'm
like heading to almost two hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
So she's a really good stripper, then you're really good,
all right. So so Max, it's more like a lifestyle
thing for you.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
It's just you're not you.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Don't yeah long term, like oh great, I'm going to
the office and then you're just like going to the
strip club and like I have to think about that
when you come home from work. Like I get that
it's a job, but it just makes it makes me uncomfortable.
I don't want you.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Want to share a really hot girl. I'm sorry, Well, okay.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I would usually offer to pay for a second date,
if you guys wanted to try and make it work
through a second date. But I feel like it's probably
just not a connection, and it's it's just you guys
think totally different and I don't. I just I'm not
going to offer the second date.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
I just I don't think it is the right fit.
And I thought that was just cool to just move
on from that. But I didn't know I was being
attacked here.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Okay, Well, nobody's attacking you, and I appreciate you for
being honest and finally letting Lindsay know. And Lindsay, you've
got closure, You've got the answers.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Now you know why you were getting ghosted.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, as I thought, So okay, Lindsey, Max, thank you
guys for being on a second date update.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Thank you
