A few months ago we told you about this Layla
the bat dog. She does you know, she actually picks
up the baseball bats for the players, and she did
this for thirteen years. She finally retired from the Clearwater Threshers. Well,
there were high hopes for little Lucy to be her
replacement bat dog.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Lucy is a ten month old lab.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
And had a memorable memorable debut, but not quite the
way that anybody expected. Instead of fetching bats, Lucy decided
to explore the opposing team's dugout and then made her
way infield, where she went potty near the pitcher's mount.

Really, she is funny.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
She squatted right there.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
She squatted right there.

That is funny, and it puts a smile on her face.
