Her name is Caitlyn Eaton, and when she heard that
SNAP benefits would be paused this month, she didn't worry,
but she acted, which is cool. Caitlyn and her family
live in the Keystone neighborhood of Northwest Omaha and they're
just blocks away from Boyd Elementary Well. Food insecurity was
rising with the families there and so they felt it
would be awesome to build this pantry, so they actually did.

The pantry isn't just a box of canned good it's
actually a wooden structure which is still under construction, and
it's designed to hold shelf stable food, cooking tips and
even ingredient swaps for families missing basic like eggs and milk.
And in the meantime, the Eatons have set up a
smaller box stocked with essentials that anybody can take, no
questions asked. Yeah, I tell you there's some great people
