Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the after show decompression session, doing what they do best,
glabbing their gums. Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I'll be here Monday morning at three. All right, we're rod.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
We were having behind the scenes getting ready for the
road to talk at the beginning of the stream.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Because this the blood drive is fun, but it's really
tough because you got to prepare instead of just walking
from the studio in there, Indy in here, then you
got to drive somewhere and lose your train of thought
while you're on the world.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
And the good news for anybody that comes out, even
if you're not able to donate blood. All week next
week we're going to be registering people to win Heart
tickets because they're playing Texas Trust Ceuth Theater without a
couple of Instruments June fourteenth. And we also have tickets
to Pantera they're playing in September. And then we also
have some tickets to I think more tickets for the

(00:53):
Outlaw Music Festival, Oh do or Rangers tickets or something.
There's gonna be all sorts of goodies there.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
It's on top of those drawings which are gonna happen
exclusively with the morning show in the afternoon show. There's
also a big general drawing at the end of every
day for Kansas concert tickets, and at the end of
the week there is a grand prize drawing between all
on site entrance. That is for an autographed guitar from
the band Greta Van Fleet and that is cool.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Are they still around?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Yeah they are.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yeah, Well they're just babes in the woods man. I
don't even think they've cracked thirty yet.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
They're cheering, is what they are.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
They haven't worn my Greta Van Fleet sweatshirt in a
long time.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
It's a dope one too. I like, I'm kind of
jealous of that one.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I've never gotten one just yet.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Sorry, have you seen him in concert? No, you would
love a Greta Van Fleet show.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well, they sound like we wish we.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Were led Zeppelin a little bit, but you know, his
stage presence is awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Is a little more than a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
There's a little cream mixed in with the led Zeppelin
in there, at least in their appearance, like they they
might be young gen Z or kids, but they don't
dress like it. They're dressed like Ginger Baker in sixty nine.
They look like up there anyway, there's lots to win,
and there's lots of reasons to come out and spend
time with us. Even if you can't or are not
willing to actually donate blood, there's still ways to participate.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
They still just come hang with it exactly exactly, because.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
That's what we do. We just kind of hang with
each other until we finish the show.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
But we want to at least get as many donors
as we had last year. If we can break the record,
that would be absolutely awesome because during the summer months,
a lot of the regular blood donors go on vacation,
and so they really need more donors during the summer months.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
If you'll notice, we do it before July fourth, because
they say that's when people like blow their fingers off and.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
They need blood even more.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Well, and with more people on the road going on
summer vacation and road trips and heading out of town,
there's more car accidents, so they need more blood and
they need to make sure that. I think that actually
they need fifteen hundred donors a day to meet the
demands here in North Texas a.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Day, and that's just North Texas, YEP. I heard some
factory the other day that once every four minutes. Somebody
needs every two seconds, six seconds. Yeah, yeah, going on,
do your part, man, and if you if you can't
or you're not willing to donate blood, we still love
you and there's still reasons to come to.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
One of our rascuals, Mark Robertson, he said he's going
to try to come out and say hello to us
next week, but he's not able to because he got
COVID and he's got some health issues related to that COVID.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Now, if once, once you have COVID, are you not allowed.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
To No, it depends. It depends. You can get cleared
to donate blood. But there are certain if you know,
if you're not one hundred percent, they don't want you
to risk it.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You know, understandable. I've been talking a lot at the
end of the six ten am stream when we go
into the Randy room in there. At the end, I've
been talking about how inspiring it is it is to
us to show up super early to these remote locations,
and you know, we feel like we're pretty military, we're

(04:13):
pretty warrior with our sleep discipline in our early morning hours.
Then we see the Carter Bloodcare crew and they're like
they're like Navy seals. Yeah, they come in and they've
got boatloads of stuff that they're wheeling in. They're all
in their scrubs, they've been they beat us all there.
They've got multiple vehicles outside, and they really do set

(04:34):
up a triage operation. It's amazing to watch a triage. Yeah,
you know, like a mobile, a mobile hospital mobile.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Medical scene from Mash bow Oh kind of what did
we learn today? On did you know what the first
F word in a movie?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
It was in the movie Mesh sort of a painless,
painless the dentist when I'm gonna take your fucking heads.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
The dentist was painless.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Well, is it football, playing football, playing foot? Yeah, okay,
from nineteen seventy. I can't believe it took ninth until
nineteen seventy for them to drop the F bomber.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Actually, actually he said, all right, your fucking head's coming off.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
That's damn now.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I remember it in the movie Plain a Day.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, you said painless, and I thought, wow, that's a
weird reference to Mash because, well, that theme song.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Well that's the name of the dentist that was in
that was in the movie called painless.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
The song at the beginning suicide is painless.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yeah, I had any reason why they named the dentist painless,
but there you go wild.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
And it goes to show you learn so much when
you listen to Bo Roberts in the morning.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
And it sure doesn't look like when you look at
the set of Mash, especially that aerial shot from the copter,
It certainly doesn't look like just a little chunk of
a Malibu Beach parking lot, does it not?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Really, that's what it was.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Well, that's the that's the movie magic.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
That's right, they did a lot of magic. There was
just a little parking lot in Malibu. Oh man, Okay,
you guys want to start your weekend out of here.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
We're pretty tired.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Okay, I'll be here extra early for you.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Bo.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I'll be here at three. I gotta leave here at four.
So anything you guys need from me Monday morning, just
try and get it to me before four o'clock. Over.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I already gave you a couple of.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Things, yes, ma'am, I got a whole bunch of stuff
on morning. Yeah, Ivan's gonna have those on an iPad
for you guys, and anything else you need. You know,
I'm here for you.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Did you get those two clips of Okay using my
phone for this?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Well, all right, Dan, all right, y'all have a great weekend.
We'll see you back on Monday in Allen for the
startup the Blood.

Speaker 3 (06:50):

the opening in Flower Mount tomorrow. And let's that was
a total surprise that Paul would.

Speaker 2 (06:59):

Speaker 1 (07:02):

one night only to time.

Speaker 2 (07:07):

up with us.
