Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the after show decompression session, doing what they do best,
glapping their gums.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hello, everyone, were my stars? Jersey?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Well, it must have brought good luck last night because
the Stars actually won.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Oh my gosh, and especially after Saturday. I was so nervous.
I can't believe you went out there and joined Jeff
k eight thirty the party started. The game was late
because it was in Colorado.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Grand Scape, but it was a Saturday night, so I
knew I didn't have to give it.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I was about ready to go, and then eight o'clock
hit and I was like, anyone put my pajamas on
because it had been a long day for me.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Oh and plus it was it was four to nothing,
and of course three minutes left in the game. I said,
well I did, and my son Klasis dead. There's still
time for them to come back, and I said, hold
on to that dream myself.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah. Has anybody come back from that much of a
deficit in three minutes? I know that they've come back
from like two down, but not.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Sure how to watch the report if they have. I
want to see that action.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
That's crazy. Yesterday, scoring within the first nine seconds of
the game was awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, way to go boys.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I was very very nervous. Okay, so tell us about
this USA.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Film the USA Film Festival. So I reach out to
and they sent me an invitation and I'd never done
anything like this before, but I wrote them back and
I said, hey, I'd like to RSVP.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I'd like to come.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
And with a plus one and check everything out. I
love the movies that you guys are going over. So
the guy said, yeah, no problem, You're confirmed if we
show up out there. They don't have my name at
the front desk at the Angela. Finally, damn, but they
were really nice anyway. All I had to do was
say bo Roberts and they were like, oh, we don't
want to get our ask kid no, but they had
heard of the show and they said, yeah, come on in. So,

(01:44):
as weird as it was not to have my name
at the front, I walk in and I walked past
the red carpet. My name is on a Q card
at the bottom of the red carpet, alongside a lot
of other media names. Oh really, And I'm like, okay,
now I'm really confus. I don't know what's going on.
So I finally find the person I had to talk
to about it all while we're waiting for the movie

(02:05):
to start, and they go, yeah, we wanted to invite you.
If you want to, you can get up there and
work the red carpet with us when the movie stars
and the people come through. And I was like, wow,
that's really cool, but I have nothing prepared. I didn't
know you guys were going to offer me this. So
how about next time, I'll just soak it all in
this time, And so next time they do something like this,

(02:26):
they're going to have a spot for me there to
kind of grab some of the people that are walking
the red carpet at these film festivals and talk to them.
So we sat down and incomes actor Martin Cove. He
was the bad guy Karate Instructor and Karate Kids Sweep
the Leg.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
And he's been in a couple of things.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Said oh yeah, he's pushing seventy nine now, and he
was really really cool in Death Race two thousand. He's
one of only six of the Death Race drivers. He
was the one that was called oh now, his name
just got away from me. But he's the first one
to die in Death Race two thousand. His car is
the first one to get blown up. Really yeah, and
he has sort of a Western theme to what he

(03:05):
does in Death Ray two thousands.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Long as his check is already clear.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Absolute.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
So we watched the movie and then he hung around
and he told us all sorts of wild stories, not
only about his older movies like Karate Kid and Death Race,
but more recently he is a part of that series
Cobra Kai.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Oh yes, I love him in that.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah. He reprises his Karate Kid roll in that. The
sweep the leg guy, what a blast, you guys. We
hung out. There was other actors there. There was a
local actor named Billy Blair. He's been in a couple
of the Machety movies. In one of the Machete movies,
Billy Blair got to kill Robert de Niro. Oh guy,

(03:46):
isn't that amazing? Yeah, Billy's named Jonah Hex and a
bunch of other stuff too. Uh So. The invitation is
also to you, guys, if this is interesting to you
at all, They would love to have people like us.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
You're awesome. The Dallas International Film Festival, which also happened
this past weekend. It was down the street over by
Victory Plaza.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yeah, yeah, it was a hell of a lot of
fun and to see I know, especially this is gonna
ring with Bo. To see Death Race two thousand on
a big screen with boom and sound. That was a hoot.
And I forgot how much naked ass there isn't that movie?

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Wait? Who else was in that movie?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Stallone?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Stallone's in there, Robert David Carodine, Yeah, David Cadine. Both
of them show their butts, their naked butts in this.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Well, I'm looking forward, I know right, I knew it.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
I was like, just wow, they were so early in
their careers they didn't care about that kung fu ass.
But most of the female leads in Death Race two
thousand full frontal boobies and everything. Yeah, there is like
they're taking a break for the night from the race
and they're all getting massages and they're all nude next
to each other.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I'm like, this is a true problem with that.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Agree.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Well, we do want to send a big thank you
to the House of Blues because BO and I were
out there Sunday night for the Zebra show?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
And Randy Jackson was he not on point his guitar
playing the vocals?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
And it's not just Zebra anymore?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Tell him it's a Guy gelso Zebra because he bought
the band.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Really, so it's on the drum set. It says Guy
gelso Zebra.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I was like, what the heck so Bo introduced him. Yeah,
well when he said Guy gelso Zebra, I thought he
was joking.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
No, yeah, told me right.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Before on did I hear you or Randy on the
air mentioned that they're making new music.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Oh yeah yeah, and they performed a couple of the
new songs. But his vocals were great. Hey, listen, we're
gonna have to go.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Yeah, I don't want to hold you.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
I love you guys. We're glad to be back. And
tomorrow Mark Faber ask us stuff tomorrow to ask Okay,
we'll see you.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Then a right back
