Speaker 29 (04:25):
It's sewing machine days. Thomas Saint of England took out
the first patent for a complete sewing machine. Some sources
say that he received his patent on June thirteenth, explaining
why the oiding machine Day takes place today. Okay, I
remember watching my grandmother sew and now think she was
gonna get her fingers seld to whatever material because she

(04:45):
kept getting so close to the need.

Speaker 11 (04:47):
Did she have the pedal below for her foot?

Speaker 29 (04:50):
Oh no, that would never do. You got to have
an electric season.

Speaker 6 (04:55):

Speaker 29 (05:36):

floor when you were stirring it. Some of you may

do it, chrisp or even cut off one of your fingers.

And we have a huge amount of videos up on
the Bow and Them show page for that.

Speaker 29 (05:57):

Summer Olympics.

Speaker 29 (07:09):
I'm not sure I believe myself.

Speaker 11 (08:18):
First sport Roger by the will Height Law Firm. Injury
lawyers go to Will heightwins dot com.

Speaker 29 (08:24):
Edmonton's Leon Tricycle I mean dry Sidle scored his second
overtime winner of the Stanley Cup Final as the Oilers
beat the Florida Panthers five to four last night to
level the NHL Championship Series at two games a piece.
It's gonna get it excited.

Speaker 11 (08:41):
I am so rooting for Edson.

Speaker 31 (08:42):
Just wish the stars run. Sorry.

Speaker 29 (08:45):
The twenty nine year old German center scored his fourth
overtime goal in the playoffs at eleven minutes and eighteen
seconds of the extra period to decide a roller coaster
of a contest that saw the Panthers take a three
to nothing lead in the first period. They were just
nineteen and a half seconds left in regulation when Florida
Sam Reinhardt tied it up to force the one hundred

(09:06):
Stanley Cup Final overtime game in history.

Speaker 22 (09:10):
Wow.

Speaker 29 (09:10):
The Oilers are trying to become the first Canadian team
since the Montreal Canadians in nineteen ninety three to capture
the trophy. The best of seven series returns to Edmonton tomorrow,
where the team split two overtime thrillers before the Panthers
blowout victory in Game three in Sunrise, Florida. The Oilers,
by the way, fell to the Panthers in seven games

(09:31):
in last year's Stanley Cup Finals. So come on, Edmonton,
let's talk.

Speaker 11 (09:36):
A little basketball. Young North Texas basketball players getting a
once in a lifetime opportunity to train overseas with this
same coach who helped shape NBA legend Dirk Novitski.

Speaker 29 (09:49):
Okay, let's see if you can try the name okay.

Speaker 11 (09:51):
At just fourteen years old, Michael Tye Lawson, a freshman
at Grace Preparatory Academy in Arlington, has been selected to
attend a basketball camp in Germany led by Holder Gerschweinder,
Novitzky's longtime mentor and trainer. Lawson was the only American
chosen for this camp, a selection that was made by

(10:11):
the Mark Cuban Heroes basketball center. Gerschweiner is known for
his unconventional training methods, which include dancing, yes, even rowing
remember Dirk doing that? Oh yeah, in addition to all
the traditional basketball drills. Lost in story has even caught
the attention of Dirt Novitski himself, who sent a video
message wishing him luck. Oh and in case you missed it,

(10:33):
fourteen years ago, yesterday the MAVs would the NBA champions.

Speaker 29 (10:38):
Oh, I wish we'd win another one be any time soon,
I'm afraid all right.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
Yesterday on Sports of all sorts, we caught you up
on PGA and Scotti Scheffler.

Speaker 31 (10:47):
Here's a little update for you, Scotty. Scheffler kept coming
back to the same answer when it asked in different ways.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
How a day that began with optimism at the US
Open turned into a five and a half hour bad
day for it, Oh yeah, and left him well off.

Speaker 31 (11:02):
The front page of the leader board.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
He said, I've probably got to give myself a few
more looks, the world's top ranked player said yesterday after
a three over seventy three left him seven shots behind
front runner JJ spawn JJ. Kind of walk that ass
on Scotty yesterday. It added up to tying his worst
opening round in a major ever. He did that about
four years ago at the Masters, and a year before

(11:26):
he began running a run of dominance not seen since
Tiger Woods Prime about twenty years ago. Scheffler only made
two putts over ten feet yesterday.

Speaker 31 (11:37):
Oh no, none of over this final seven holes.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
He knows, one bad round doesn't necessarily ruin his chances
of winning the third leg of the Grand Slam. It
just makes it a little bit more difficult. We hope
Scotty has a better time the rest.

Speaker 29 (11:52):
Of the yips the yips, Yeah no, you don't want
the yip No, no, no, no. Legendary Minish Vikings defensive
lineman Jim Marshall, who holds the record for the most
seasons played by a defender, died at the age of
eighty seven. He joined the Vikings after being traded by
the Cleveland Browns in the team's inaugural year. Marshall became

(12:14):
a prominent figure on the team's iconic defensive line, known
as the Purple People Eaters. He wore number seventy. He
was a national champion with Ohio State and later a
two time pro bowler. He helped lead the Vikings to
their only NFL championship in nineteen sixty nine, which was
before the league's merger with the AFL. At one time,

(12:36):
he was known as wrong Way Marshall. Some of you
might remember he picked up a fumble against the forty
nine Ers in October of nineteen sixty four and returned
it sixty six yards into his own end zone for
a safety, and if he had thrown the ball down,
one of the forty nine ers could have covered it
and that would have been the touchdown. At one time,

(12:58):
he was known as that he spent a lot of
time trying to prove that they were wrong. Well, he
was a little embarrassed about it, but only his friends
and teammates were allowed to rib him because most everybody
was scared of him because he was such a big badass.
Upon retirement in nineteen seventy nine, Marshall had played in
every game in the franchise's history. He finished his career

(13:20):
with one hundred and thirty and a half sex, thirty
fumble recoveries, including that one where he went the wrong way,
and one interception. I remember watching him play back.

Speaker 11 (13:29):
The people leaders. That's what I remember as it all right.
Speaking of Minnesota, the Rangers are coming off a huge
win yesterday in Minnesota. I love this headline. Are the
Rangers bats back for good?

Speaker 31 (13:41):
I sure hope so.

Speaker 11 (13:42):
The Rangers hit six home runs in their second sixteen
run route of the Twins in the same series. Josh
Smith collected one of the homers in the club sixteen
to three win. Wyatt Langford, Jake Berger, Sam Haggerty, Evan Carter,
Adalas Garcia joined him. The Rangers actually sent all nine
batters to the plate on two separate occasions, both and

(14:02):
all nine Texas starters reached base. Each of the starting nine,
but Corey Seger collected at least one hit last night,
actually it was yesterday afternoon, but he did nab a
pair of walks, So way to go, Corey Seger. Now tonight,
the Rangers are back home at Globeli Field in Arlington,
where they will kick off a three game series against
Pope Leo's favorite team, the Chicago White Sox. First pitch

(14:24):
will be at seven oh five. If you can't make
it out to the game, you can watch the game
on the Rangers Sports Network.

Speaker 6 (14:30):
The Great Caitlyn Clark is not only the twenty twenty
four WNBA Rookie of the Year, she's a hell of
a lot more of that, and apparently watching her on
the court has accounted for a lot of the WNBA's
ratings boost. But Caitlyn Clark is on the injured list
right now. Yeah, Caitlyn was injured last month and TV

(14:51):
ratings of the end of WNBA watching are down more
than fifty percent.

Speaker 11 (14:56):
Yes, she's a draw, the Nope, she's better because you
know she We're supposed to be playing here in North
Texas June twenty seventh.

Speaker 34 (15:03):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
I want to go to that game so bad, and
I hope the suits aren't like putting pressure on her.

Speaker 31 (15:08):
Hey, we need her back on the court. We're gonna lose.
They better leave her alone and let her heal the
right way.

Speaker 6 (15:13):
Nationally televised WNBA viewership down fifty five percent since Clark's injury.
Nationally televised games the Indiana Fever have seen ratings drops
by fifty three percent. It's still unknown when Clark will
play again, but there's a chance for a return against
the New York Liberty tomorrow.

Speaker 31 (15:31):
She's twenty three.

Speaker 29 (15:34):
Then there's Joey Jaws Chestnut. Now, the competitive eating legend
might be making a return to the Nathan's Fourth of
July Hot Dog Eating Contest after sitting out last year
due to an argument over a sponsorship deal with Impossible
Foods because they're not real meat hot dogs, right, They're not,

(15:54):
They're impossible. He and Major League Eating are now in
talks to have him return to the event. Fans are
fired up, especially after seeing him recently devour a record
breaking eighty three hot dogs in a Netflix showdown.

Speaker 11 (16:09):
Dude, it's still so disgusting the way they dip it
into water.

Speaker 29 (16:12):
All that's process?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
What BG.

Speaker 29 (16:15):
Yeah, we know that competitive eating is considered a sport,
but It's kind of hard to watch people shoving as
many hot dogs as they can down their gullet, especially
after dipping them in water to slapping them up for.

Speaker 35 (16:28):
Uck.

Speaker 29 (16:29):
All right, more coming up, We got the Freaking fool File.
Next on the Bow and Them Show Live at the
Blood Drive.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
It's the Bow and Them Show, broadcasting live from the
annual Lone Star ninety two to five Blood Drive.

Speaker 29 (16:42):
Lone Star ninety two five Live at the Blood Driver
with Billy Bob's Texas. So come by, donate a pint
of blood and we'll give you something for your troubles.
Now it's time for the Freaking fool File. Lovely old Florida,
Florida man is under arrest for pissing all over hands
of Spam and Vienna saw in a Sands club store.

Speaker 19 (17:05):
Are you serious?

Speaker 11 (17:06):
Well, at least he was a member.

Speaker 29 (17:10):
Yes, but you don't take out your member and dow
urine all over everything.

Speaker 21 (17:15):
True, true at least say.

Speaker 29 (17:17):
Seventy year old Patrick Mitchell was seen walking up several
palettes over to spam and Vienna sausage and then peeing
all over stopping. A shopper caught him doing and captured
the whiz kid. On video doing it. She then informed
store employees, who revealed the surveillance video and saw him

(17:39):
doing it. He then casually walked over to the patio
section and sat down in a chair for ten bill.
I guess it took a lot out of it, so
to speak. He ultimately walked to the self checkout, paid
for some items, and left the store well police arrived,
got his personal information from his membership card.

Speaker 9 (18:00):
Tracked ath down.

Speaker 29 (18:02):
He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Meanwhile,
Sam's Club had to destroy several palettes of those canned items,
valued it over ten thousand dollars and I'm sure he's
gonna be billed for it.

Speaker 11 (18:17):
Oh, at least they destroyed them.

Speaker 29 (18:19):
Would have asked why he did it, he said, because
I felt like it. So what, Well, it's gonna cost you.
I hope it was worth it. Augier felt like doing it.
Lay me alone with it.

Speaker 11 (18:32):
From Florida to the UK, A man in the UK
Bow was fired from his job after he did a
virtual work call without wearing pants. Even worse, he wasn't
wearing anything south of the border. Oh, commando, he didn't
just forget that. He wasn't wearing pants or mistakenly think
he had his camera off. He wasn't wearing any pants

(18:54):
on purpose, because that's the way he likes to.

Speaker 9 (18:56):
Hang at halls, so to speak.

Speaker 11 (18:58):
So to speak. Now, while he was at home doing
this virtual call, he needed to adjust a computer cord,
so he leaned forward and he partially folded his laptop
to deal with it. That meant that the camera pointed down,
revealing his exposed nonny parts and everyone saw. Now, initially

(19:19):
he admitted his mistake, but when he realized how much
trouble he was in with his company, he tried to
claim he was wearing nude colored underwear. Oh yeah, yeah,
and he criticized the call for happening on his day off. Now,
in any event, his company didn't buy it and they
dumped him. He tried to sue them over it, but
the case got thrown out.

Speaker 31 (19:39):
Of course, case got whizzed out.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
Yeah all right, another Floridio, because we can never get
enough of these. Sometimes even the wildlife needs to unwind.
And a Floridiate resident was shocked when a black bear
took a dip in their backyard.

Speaker 29 (19:55):
Hawks Bob, oh, you can't just chase those aways.

Speaker 30 (19:58):
No, let them, that's right.

Speaker 6 (20:01):
Once he was sufficiently soaked and his bear muscles were loose,
he climbed out of the tub and leisurely walked over
to a patio sofa, where he laid down and took
a nap for six hours.

Speaker 30 (20:14):
He's on vacation in their backyard.

Speaker 31 (20:16):
The homeowner called fish and Wildlife.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
That's the right thing to do, and the officers arrived
to wake the bear up and coax it to leave
the property. But the bear was not ready to end
his vacation in these people's backyard yet, and it scrambled
on up a tree.

Speaker 31 (20:29):
It remained there for another twenty four hours.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Wildlife officials eventually lured the bear out of the tree
using a dozen donuts.

Speaker 9 (20:38):
O nice, bears love, don't do it.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
I might come down out of a tree for that too,
because bears love donuts, apparently. And once the bear munched
down on the sweet treats, officers captured him by shooting
him in the ass with a trank dart, and they
relocated him to a nearby state park so he can
go bother campers out there for a while.

Speaker 31 (20:57):
Instead.

Speaker 29 (20:58):
There's a bear outside our tent in Ontario, Canada police
announced the arrest of four people they suspect were involved
in a smash and grab robbery at a local adult
toy store for couples in the early hours of the morning.
Security video captured two masked subjects breaking through the front

(21:19):
door of sin Vention Boutique and Bengia and clearing shells
and display cases, making off with approximately eight thousand dollars
worth of high end leather gear, cash and adult goodness.

Speaker 11 (21:34):
What were they gonna do with all that stuff?

Speaker 30 (21:36):
Party?

Speaker 29 (21:37):
Well, I see that coming, so to speak. The incident
left the owners of the small business rattle, but less
than a week later police made a charge and got
a search warrant at one of the suspects house and
charged all four people who just happened to be there
at the same time, sitting on the floor or dividing

(22:01):
up all the dildo's handcuffs, flavored loue boil and butt
plugs to each his own.

Speaker 11 (22:07):
I guess they wanted it for their own personal yes, yeah,
oh not even to like sell on eBay.

Speaker 29 (22:13):
Didn't share a light, didn't even give them a chance
to sold party. Yet, will come by and see this
word Billy Bob's Texas in the historic fourt Or Stockyards.
It's the Lone Star ninety two to five Blood Drive.

cat enthusiasts.

Speaker 29 (48:17):

Speaker 28 (48:21):
I had a bit about I had a bit about
just I have a bit about Pecko.

Speaker 31 (48:24):

Speaker 28 (48:26):

how I oh, I said, I said, I hated cats.
How they sleep on you and they perr. It was
just a set up into the joke. And then I said,
how cats will dig their nails into you just show
how much they love you. Yes, I said, So what
I did was I took the cat off me and
I threw it across the room because I wanted to
reciprocate the love.

Speaker 29 (48:46):
I was that in pain for pain, you know what
I mean? And she had had enough at that point.

Speaker 31 (48:55):
Yeah, so she wasn't feeling that per se, but the
cat felt it.

Speaker 29 (01:03:21):
Brady Matthews is with us. Yeah, I want to hear
the story about how you actually got in a fight
at one of your shows.

Speaker 28 (01:03:29):
Oh well, you know it's not the most glamorous story.
But as you know, I worked at the comedy store
for a hot second my early comedy career, and uh
I got on stage and immediately this this guy and
his wife were wasted in the front row and as
soon as they got on stage, didn't even grabbed the
barely grabbed the microphone.

Speaker 31 (01:03:48):
This lady goes, you suck.

Speaker 11 (01:03:52):
And you hadn't even started there.

Speaker 31 (01:03:55):
Are you at the house.

Speaker 61 (01:04:00):
Right?

Speaker 31 (01:04:01):
Work a long day? And that's the answer you get.
You get the responses like that from her her partner. Yeah,
so he gets.

Speaker 28 (01:04:07):
So he came at me at the hallway and I'm
in the hallway and you have to get more comedians
to go on stage, and he just pushed me from behind,
and I didn't like it. We're all having a bad day,
and I just socked him and we just started going
at it. And then all the door guys started coming
after us and ripping him off me, and I was
ripping off the ripping me off him.

Speaker 31 (01:04:24):
It was a mess. But that's just a typical Thursday
at the comedy store, I get.

Speaker 10 (01:04:27):
So.

Speaker 28 (01:04:28):
Yeah, So I wanted to give a shout out to
my mom Karen. Happy birthday, Karen, Yeah, care bear's birthday, yep.

Speaker 11 (01:04:35):
And Karen before Karen was uncool.

Speaker 28 (01:04:37):

I think we should change it.

Speaker 31 (01:04:42):

guys at this point.

Speaker 29 (01:04:46):

Speaker 37 (01:04:47):
Yeah, called Kevin Joys was a k Yeah, yes, I
know a lot of crappy marks.

Speaker 31 (01:04:52):
R goes, Yeah, Mark.

Speaker 11 (01:04:58):

what should it be?

Speaker 31 (01:05:02):
I had a crappy neighbor named Nancy. Let's go over
some names. Thank you so much for the blood driving.

Speaker 29 (01:05:11):
Okay, what about didn't Quentin Tarantino go to one of
your shows?

Speaker 34 (01:05:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 31 (01:05:16):
So I wouldn't say he went to my show per se,
but he was there.

Speaker 28 (01:05:19):
The great thing when I was working at the comedy
store also is sometimes you don't know who's sitting in
the audience, Right. So I was sitting there and it
was late night, and everyone's again, everyone's getting pretty wasted.

Speaker 31 (01:05:31):
Towards the end, they stick around, and this girl was.

Speaker 28 (01:05:34):
Being super loud and I'm like, you guys are so obnoxious,
and then his laugh.

Speaker 31 (01:05:38):
I don't know if you know, Quentin Tarantino's laughing. It's
like ahh.

Speaker 28 (01:05:44):
And I was like, that's the worst laugh I've ever heard.
I go, you laugh like Quentin Tarantino. And of course
his junk girlfriends like that's because it is.

Speaker 21 (01:05:53):
And he got up and he.

Speaker 76 (01:05:54):
Goes, I go, oh, oh, I go sorry, I go
keep laughing. Yes, and also having my stuff right, I go. Also,
if you have a part in the movie, yeah, audition
for you.

Speaker 29 (01:06:06):
So I'm still waiting for that, like to reward me
for doing such a good job at the show.

Speaker 31 (01:06:11):
Yeah, so yeah, that was that was always interesting.

Speaker 11 (01:06:14):

a lot of fresh blood the people that need it.

cute little child.

Speaker 11 (01:14:36):
She's beautiful, she really is.

Speaker 29 (01:14:38):
Well, she needs to pretty up the place a little bit,
because you can't do it all by yourself.

Speaker 11 (01:14:43):
I can't do it at all.

Speaker 29 (01:14:45):
No yet you can.

Speaker 19 (01:14:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:14:46):
So another virgin to the show. Yeah, she's not a
virgin because she's divorced and has two kids. Okay, well,
but she's a virgin to the show. Okay, Well, I
got a little Father's Day thing to play for you.

Speaker 29 (01:14:57):
Chris Porter. He's been in a couple of times, and
he tells this story about his dad.

Speaker 78 (01:15:05):
My dad is the smartest person I've ever met. That
man whoops my ass in jeopardy every time. And in
the thirty nine years i've been alive, I've watched that
man go from regional salesman to.

Speaker 12 (01:15:16):
Chief executive officer. Gone.

Speaker 78 (01:15:18):
He's also the same man I watched electrocute himself four
times in one afternoon, not a row either, not like no,
it was like, merzapp, I have time to call a professional.
And in this Merzap, my family's laughing at me. Merzap.

(01:15:41):
Now they're worried.

Speaker 5 (01:15:43):
Merzap.

Speaker 30 (01:15:45):
Now they're inviting people over the walls. My mother asked
my father.

Speaker 78 (01:15:51):
To replace four outlets in the kitchen that had become
cracked and old. My father, being a smart man, went
down in the fuse box turned off what he felt
would be the appropriate breakers to.

Speaker 30 (01:16:03):
Complete such a task.

Speaker 78 (01:16:05):
Side note, my parents currently live in the house that
my grandfather built, and apparently Grandpa was not a big labeler.
All right, so the fuse box is pretty much just
a messed up game of guess who, all right.

Speaker 31 (01:16:21):
Now, to my.

Speaker 78 (01:16:22):
Father's credit, the first three outlets were replaced without incident
Number four got sticky. I was not in the room
when he was electrocuted the first time, but I heard it,
and I knew exactly what had happened. I don't know
if you've ever heard one hundred and ten volts run
through a loved one, but I can promise you that

(01:16:43):
the sound they make when it happens is a sound
jewel only here then, or during an unexpected finger in
the rear end. All right, those are the only two
things off planet Earth that'll make a grown mag I
can't right.

Speaker 30 (01:17:00):
I heard that, and then I heard my mom chuckle. Oh, honey,
looks like that outlet was on a different breaker.

Speaker 78 (01:17:08):
Maybe we should go downstairs see which one that is,
to which my father said, nah, I'm almost done.

Speaker 19 (01:17:17):
What does that mean?

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
Do you think electricity cares at all?

Speaker 30 (01:17:22):
How far into the job you've gotten?

Speaker 31 (01:17:25):
No, No, not at all.

Speaker 30 (01:17:27):
I was there for the second one.

Speaker 78 (01:17:28):
It was funny, Yes, in the middle of a sentence
telling me why he didn't need to turn off.

Speaker 30 (01:17:32):
The break, He's like, no, son, all I have to
do is.

Speaker 78 (01:17:42):
After the third one, which ended with a crep, I said, Dad,
I'm only in town for the weekend.

Speaker 30 (01:17:49):
I don't really have time for your funeral. Why don't
I do this?

Speaker 78 (01:17:53):
Why don't I go downstairs, turn off the big red
switch at the top of the box, cut off all
the power in the house. You fix the then when
you're done, I'll go back downstairs. I'll turn all the
power back on, and then I and I alone will
walk through in the entire house fixed all the clocks
and the router.

Speaker 30 (01:18:10):
Because I know that's what you're really worried about.

Speaker 78 (01:18:13):
And I promise you, if my dad had died that day,
i'd have written that on his tombstone. Here lies Scott Porter,
because he didn't want to mess with the router, and
there'd be a USB port in the tombstone where you
could charge your phone off his charred remain.

Speaker 5 (01:18:29):
Well, we know now exactly where we'd be for the
big Show.

Speaker 40 (01:18:32):
Classic Rock and the Morning with Bow and then on

got him?

Speaker 11 (02:40:59):
Oh, we've got some good stuff up on the Bow
and Them show on lone Star ninety two to five.
So happy Father's Day going out to Billy Idol, who
doesn't have just two kids anymore. He apparently has a
son that he knew nothing about until recently.

Speaker 9 (02:41:13):
One of those road happened, Yeah, surprise.

Speaker 11 (02:41:17):
In the new documentary Billy Idol Should Be Dead, which
debuted this week at the Tribeca Festival in New York,
it was revealed that Billy Idol had fathered his son
that he only recently found out about. So in the film,
his daughter Bonnie, who he had with Linda Mathis, says
that her husband surprised her with a twenty three and
meter DNA test as a Christmas present. She sent it

(02:41:37):
off and a few weeks later got the results and
on the app she found out about a close relative
named Brandt born in New York in nineteen eighty five
who was looking for his bio dad and it turned
out to be Billy Idol. Brandt's mom spent a weekend
getting idolized. If you know what I mean, I beg Yeah.

(02:41:58):
Billy Idol owned up and welcome Brant into his family.
Says he loves having another son. Billy by the way
on the road this summer promoting his new album Dream
Into It.

Speaker 61 (02:42:08):
Now.

Speaker 11 (02:42:08):
Here's how Billy Idle described the new album.

Speaker 105 (02:42:12):
We're not trying to reinvent Billy Idol or something or
do something that is in competition with what's happening today.
In fact, I thought, let's do the opposite. There's so
much pop music, there's so much dances music.

Speaker 9 (02:42:26):
I want to rock.

Speaker 12 (02:42:27):
So that's why this album is.

Speaker 105 (02:42:29):
And it's almost like Billy Idol with a three piece
because there's not really any keyboards in particular, I'm still dancing.
It's all Steve Stevens and that's what's so great about
this record.

Speaker 29 (02:42:40):
Did he just finish yelling at Somebody Part.

Speaker 11 (02:42:43):
Well, he is kind of old now, but he looks great.
And you know the show that I want to see
him at is when he opens for the Who of
their last show in Las Angeles. Yeah, I would love
to go to that. Okay. Elton John six show London
residency with percussionist Cooper back in May of nineteen seventy seven.

Speaker 29 (02:43:02):
Ray Cooper, He's the man.

Speaker 11 (02:43:03):
Yeah, it's going to be available on CD, vinyl and
digitally this summer Live from the Rainbow Theater with Ray Cooper.
It came out on Record Store Day back in April
bo but they're going to release it to everyone July
twenty fifth, and we have all that information up on
our page. Also, Jimmy Page and The Black Crows have
posted an eleven minute video which they talk about the

(02:43:24):
recently released twenty fifth anniversary edition of their Live at
the Greek album, and we have that video up. Van
Morrison is going to release his forty seventh studio album
in fifty eight years today. It's called Remembering Now. It's
his first with original material since twenty twenty two's What's
it going to take? When he was asked about the

(02:43:45):
thought process behind the album, he said there was none,
But here he is talking about what went into making
this new album.

Speaker 106 (02:43:54):
For one of the better word, it's more like a
psychic process, or the other side of the brand process.
The sub process comes in and putting it together later on.
Really and the beginning, it's just instinct, intuition, sometimes randomness.
It's not really a thought process. It's more like being
a receiver. One is a receiver and you're receiving info

(02:44:15):
and ideas and concepts.

Speaker 29 (02:44:18):
Wow, trying to get real heavy.

Speaker 11 (02:44:20):
But doesn't that sound like what Brian Wilson said about
how the music came to him.

Speaker 29 (02:44:24):
Yes, yeah, he just.

Speaker 17 (02:44:26):
Received it and I've never heard his voice, his speaking
voice before.

Speaker 30 (02:44:30):
It is weird.

Speaker 11 (02:44:31):
Now We've got three songs from the new album up
on our page if you want to check them out.
And finally, as we head into Father's Day weekend, a
lot of grilling is going to be going on, so
I thought we'd share some of the funniest cooking fails
that were caught on camera. Didn't you say it was
like kitchen catastrophes day today? So these are videos of
people who royally messed up in the kitchen or while

(02:44:54):
outside grilling.

Speaker 29 (02:44:54):
Which clutches in the kitchen. Yes, that's what it is.
