Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the after show decompression session, doing what they do best,
clapping their gums. Okay, all right, we're back. Hope everybody
had a great weekend. Yeah, absolutely didn't lose, no limbs
or fingers or anything.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And your team won, My team one, and the Cowboys won.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
And Bo tell everybody about the football you saw on
Friday night. This is amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
My grandson, Mason McGrath played for Rety. They played against
Sherman and he got his foot broken in a boot.
Yeah he has to wear a boot now.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
With crutches or can he just walk on the broken foot?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
You can walk on the broken but they gave him
crutches and stuff, and I just.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I hate crutches.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
The thing is, Mason just got healed from a knee
injury last year.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Oh man.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Then he comes out and he plays the second, third
game and he gets hurt.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Poor Jessica, your daughter, what was she doing while you
were watching the game and that he was in so
much pain?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
She was wringing her hands and wringing her hands here
her heart. Scary baby.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
So how long do you think he's going to be out?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Got at least a month or two really, probably more
than that.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
He's got to be hating that he's sixteen, right.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, there's a lot of foot injuries right now in
the NFL. So Brock Purty with the San Francisco forty
nine broke his toe. He's out for a few weeks.
And Joe Burrow he broke his toe. He's also out
for a few weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
And there's a couple of members of the Cowboys with
broken toes from kicking the Giants in the ass.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I hope not. We've got to protect Brandon Aubrey's toes
at all calls.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Those are the most important toes.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
We're going to have to ensure them.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Brandon the leg Aubrey. Now, Mason's team wasn't necessarily expected
to be victorious over a team like Sherman right out
of him. There's a pleasant surprise to see them beat Sherman,
and the game before this.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Wasn't surprised Sherman wasn't. That's the word that I got. Oh,
I thought, Oh, I heard, they're pretty good. And Jess
because shouldn't have too much.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
It's not too bad.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
It was like thirty seven to seven.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
You just never know. And he'll give me Sunday any
given Friday the team that you think you're going to
kick their ass comes back to surprise you.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
And then Mason's team the game before that, a thirty
three oh shutout and on the turf at the Star
in Frisco. Y.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, they played there several times.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Damn all right, I'm in. I want to go see
the kid play. Let me know when he's back on
his feet.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Well, it's gonna be a while because he's got to
get back on that foot. Yeah, yeah, it is hard.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
He's got an experienced grandpa can kind of walk them
through the experience.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Well, I won't make him walk hurting. Yeah, I hate
to see that boy.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
So I was pretty surprised. I mean, we talked about
in headlines from Hollywood that Spinal Tap two did so
poorly at the box office.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Well, you know, it's been what forty years.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
They were saying they were and it is because it
took so long. But I would think that that would
ramp up excitement.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
But see, there's fans, there's two generations that haven't heard of.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
A totally word of mouth because it got an A
minus as far.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
As like rotten tomatoes or something.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah, the cinema score, So that means the people that
saw it really really liked it, and there's so many
great cameos in it that.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Means we would like it, yeah, because but we were
into the first one.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
The thing is is that the new generation can be
introduced to the greatness that is Spinal Tap.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, you know, there's also a review trashing it in
one of the major publications. I'm trying to think which
one New York Times Variety something for something along those lines.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Well, there's always somebody who's going to piss on your parade.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Well, I always go by the fans because sometimes those
critics are just so high brow and it's like, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I thought that the original Spinal Tap was funnier than
shit because we're kind of in the business. Yeah, I've
seen stuff like that. I don't know, I'll go see it.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
And Christopher Guest just knows what he's doing. He's got
this weird crew of actors. They don't have a script
when they shoot, would be it Best in Show or
Spinal Tap or Waiting for Gufman or whatever. They're using
bullet points and they're ad libbing all their line.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
That's what makes it magical. Yeah, Yeah, that improvisational skill
that they have.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I can't imagine a Christopher Guest movie even coming close
to seconds, So they get my money.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Jamie Lee Curtis posted a picture of her at the
first Spinal Tap movie premiere with Christopher Guest and the
one most recently. And she still looks great.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Yes she does. She's a beautiful lady.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah what now, this was before she got married.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
No, she was married to him. They've been married forever.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, her husband is Noigel tough No. From Spinal Tap.
He goes to eleven and.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I've seen him have bit parts. Did you ever see
a death wish? Yes, he plays a cop at the
very end. It's just a bit part that he had
and he has maybe three lines. But there's Christopher Gutz.
Is a recognize him that gunny.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
The three of them came to town, I want to
say about twelve years ago and they played the theater
in Grand Prairie and it's just the three of them
up there with acoustic guitars and banjo's. They did Hell
Hole from Spinal Tap. They did with a bunch of movies.
We gotta go.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
We're right out of time, but we gotta go.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah later, Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
