taste of some facts about Thanksgiving that you probably didn't know.

For example, did you know the first Thanksgiving celebration wasn't
in November at all? In fact, it was held in
mid October, similar to the present day Canadian Thanksgiving. It
was President Linco who set the November date in order
to coincide with the Pilgrims landing on Plymouth Rock. Did
you also know famous for writing Mary Had a Little Lamb?

Sarah Josepha Hale was a nineteenth century writer and editor
who was nicknamed the Mother of Thanksgiving. Why because after
she wrote a letter to President Abraham Lincoln and Secretary
of State William Sewart in eighteen sixty three calling for
the declaration of Thanksgiving as a national holiday. Her hope
was that the holiday would help the nation heal from

the trauma of the Civil War.

Abe thanked her, but said he couldn't stick around because
he had to get ready to go to a play
that night.

In nineteen fifty three, an over zealous Swanson employee overestimated

he came up with a brilliant idea to create and
sell individual turkey dinners, complete with corn bread, dressing, gravy, peas,
and sweet potatoes on reheatable trays, just like the airline meals,

ninety eight cents back in nineteen fifty three. By the
end of nineteen fifty four, Swanson had sold ten million

so I'm pretty much done in April and then and

open the plane door while it was in the air. First,

The FBI is investigating the incident on American Airlines flight
nineteen fifty, but so far charges have not been filed

attendant asked the guy several times to go back to

incident report, the man rushed the flight attendant and lunch
for the airplane door, hitting the flight attendant. Another passenger
named Doug mccrite says he grabbed him from behind and
held him back. Several other passengers duct taped his ass

him down the last thirty minutes of the flight. Good

better since he was denied boarding because he was drunk

So you know we set these brakes as a goal
on the horizon, sort of like me this morning when
I found out that Fiji Airways is going to start
flying out a DFW airport eight hundred bucks round trip to.

Speaker 8 (01:44:04):
Get out the Fiji. Are you wanting to go to Fiji?

Speaker 7 (01:44:06):

Speaker 16 (01:44:07):
I want to dive in Fiji so bad? But Anna
helped me out within further information. It might be only
eight hundred bucks, but the flight is how many hours?

Speaker 9 (01:44:15):
Moreteen and a half hour? Yeah, you'll have to take
a xanax so you sleep the whole time.

Speaker 8 (01:44:21):
A few of them listen. Ever, since I took that plane,
me and Jimmy went to Australia. It was almost a
twenty hour flight. I took some sleeping pills so I
could sleep through it, and when I woke up, power's
still got ten hours to go. That's the worst. But
if you want to go, get on with your bed
son it man.

Tomorrow is Friday and we'll do our NFL pro picks
with Fox Fors Mike Doosey, The Deuce, and comedian Margaret
cho Is coming by. Hadn't seen her in a while.
She's at the Addison Improv this weekend.

Yeah, it starts tonight.

Speaker 15 (01:44:58):
She's got a show tonight, but then to tomorrow, Saturday
and Sunday. So I'm glad that she's able to come
in early so she can join us tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (01:45:05):
Yeah, man, because that's that's kind of the problem. Sometimes
these comedians don't come in until the day of the show,
and if their shows on Friday, they don't come in
until Friday afternoon, and that lets us out.

Speaker 16 (01:45:17):
Yeah, and then if they're digging on Thursday night before
they come in, sometimes they're like, there ain't no way
I'm getting up at six o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 8 (01:45:23):
Margaret show will yeah, Margaret will his name drop?

Speaker 8 (01:45:29):
Oh okay, I'll be okay. Remember, I mean she hadn't
been in here in forever. So we'll get reacquainted with
Margaret Chill tomorrow. Yes, and of course we'll have the
