(00:00):
All right, So here we areat Upper Sandusky post game where the Rams
victorious over the Mohawk Warriors thirty nineto thirty four, and we are joined
by our Chemical Corporation player of thegame, Kayden Holman, and game certainly
as you remember two years ago wewere here and uh, you guys won
the game and you were a playerof the game that time as well that

(00:22):
time with a twenty seven to thirteenwin, And uh, what can you
tell us about just the type ofmindset you guys came into this one.
Obviously it's a rivalry game with theMohawk Warriors, and you were able to
come out on top again with theWarriors visiting you guys, I mean,
game this game knowing that we hadto play like a really tough game all
four quarters. And when when weheard Mohawk get hyped up before the game,

(00:46):
it really fired us up. Andwe got really fired up before we
came out, and we knew thatwe had to smack in the mouth and
get it done because personally I don'treally like Mohawk. Yeah, yeah,
I could tell. It's both ways. You know, there's a lot of
actually going back and forth, andthe reality is mohawk. They felt really
hard early on, and you guys, we just continued to climb and climb

(01:07):
and climb. What can you sayabout the sort of belief that you guys
had in each other that you couldcome back in this game and get that
w You know, it's it allstarts in practices when I'm my line's really
playing well, and it really givesme a lot of confidence knowing that I
don't have to yell at them orwork with them and they know what they
have to do when they get itdone. And same with my receivers at
all. All right, just areally tough night starting off. They you

(01:30):
know, you talked about wanting tohit them in the mouth. They kind
of jumped out on top and reallykept the pressure on, kept it on
in the first half real well, and then coming out in the second half,
you had a really tough stretch endof the second quarter and then really
through the third quarter they really seemedto put the defensive clamps on. As
far as so how did you getthings back under control? You had a

(01:53):
really good first half. You know, in halftime we really talked about and
stuff that we needed to change, and we knew that they're going into the
third quarter that they're going to keeppressing man coverage and trying to mess with
our receivers. And we really gotthe run game going because we knew that
they were they're more focused on ourpassing game. Yeah. I was actually
wondering. I knew you took abig hit to your ribs and I was

(02:14):
wondering if you might have injured yourrisk too, but you said, no,
nothing, nothing there. I thoughtmaybe you hit a helmet on a
defensive play when you made against oneof their receivers. But how tough is
it? I mean you played nearlyevery down of the game or every down
of the game. You know,it's really tough, not having the not
being allowed to come off the fieldand now being a kicker so I have

(02:35):
to do that too, and it'sjust tough. But that's why you work
hard in practice and run hard andconditioning well. We are with Kayden Holman,
our Chemical Corporation Player of the Gameafter the huge win thirty nine thirty
four come from behind win actually overthe Mohawk Warriors tonight. No, you
had the sixty point sixty points fromthe game last week versus Cyrus and just

(02:58):
some thoughts about how having a bigscoring output continue to build confidence for the
team. And you guys, youknow, I mean in practice, we
really work on our offense and ourpassing game, and we stay over and
practice and work on our passing withour receiver receiving tree, and it really
comes to show in the game whenwe're scoring a lot of points and taking
some pressure off our defense. I'lltell you taking pressure off your defense.

(03:20):
I mean you talked about coming outand running the ball. It really surprised
me when you came out in thethird quarter and ran the ball as effectively
as you did. You had NoahHale, he had a big first half,
and then Ethan Lewis in the secondhalf. So that was just a
good one two punch and you know, different style runners, but your offensive
line tell me about the job theydid tonight. I mean, they really

(03:42):
got the job done, and I'mreally really proud of them, and they
put in the work at practice andit really comes to show in the games,
and I'm really proud of them. With Caden Holman our Chemical Corporation player
of the game. So with thiswin, you do stay within a game
of first place. In the endten and just wondering about some thoughts on
when you and your teammates may needto improve upon content for the intent title
this year, we have to havea really, really, really good week

(04:02):
at practice because we don't have aWe have a big bullsoner back from Crawford
from last year, and they're thehomecoming game too, so they're really going
to come out and try to punchus in the mouth. That's right.
Last year, over time a game, you were able to pull it off
and beat the Eagles, and obviouslyColonel Crawford not going to be in a
great mood after losing tonight to carry. So Carrie's alone in first place.

(04:25):
Colonel Crawford the same situation that youare. So yeah, that's gonna be
a lot of fun obviously getting readyfor that contest. Also, I wanted
to ask you about the timing routeswith Gavin Fry. I mean, we
saw that over and over again withthe curl route towards the outside of the
corner. Is that something you guysdo constantly in practice or how does that
timing so perfect? That's what wework really really harder than practice. We

(04:48):
always have perfect timing, and that'sreally hard. To the fen especially when
you're a man, because right whenthey break, you're always a step and
a half back. And it's well, work really hard after practice with passing
routes and stuff like that. Yeah, on the touch down and the two
point conversion. I saw both ofthose plays, and then there was one
other that was nearly a touchdown.Every single time you're throwing that ball before

(05:09):
he's even making that break, Imean that is just incredible. And that's
that comes back to me having alot of trust my receivers, and I'm
really proud of them. Yea,and Fry did a nice job too defensively
for you. He had a biginterception of course that was overturned by a
penalty, but then he earlier inthe game had an interception as well,
and just the effort is always there. It's it's nice to have that kind

(05:30):
of good hands as a receiver andthat kind of trust that you you have
with those receivers really helps right on. And uh, yes, so I'll
tell you if we talked about thetrust factor as well. I remember talking
with Gavin Fry earlier at this season. He was saying the same thing,
if we are definitely seeing that anyfinal actor questions Jim before we let Kayden

(05:53):
go for tonight. Well, Ijust really wanted to congratulate you. We've
seen a lot of great performances, and this one I think he definitely ranks
up there at top two three, maybe maybe first overall, especially being a
comeback win. Two hundred eleven yardspassing on my statuet, and I had
a two hundred one yards rushing aswell, So just an outstanding performance overall.

(06:17):
And uh, you know, theoffensive line improvement that I've seen from
week one when we got to broadcastyour game to now is just absolutely incredible
and it shows in more ways thanjust the scoreboard. Yeah, it really
does. Well. Hey, congratulations, Kaden. Great job. Always a
joy watching you play where it's football, basketball, baseball, and you do

(06:40):
well and all of them. Andyou got the W tonight. So we'll
see you next time. Thank you, appreciate all right, thank you,
all right, take care of thoseribs. Demand Kaden holpen our Cheminal Corporation
Player of the Game. As theepisode Desky Rams are the winners thirty nine,
