five to nine. This broadcast of varsity boys basketball is

level high school basketball, we definitely have a treat for

who enjoy the game and are ready to compete tonight
for a district championship. And the fans, yeah, they're still
coming in. That's how we like to see it. Just
fill up the place, fill it up. And we've got
a lot of media here as well. It is completely full.

is going to be a fun game. And when you
think about Mommy Valley Country Day, a lot of talent,
young young talent for sure, but they've been getting better

get the best version of the Hawks tonight as players
from both teams come back onto the floor and the
fans showing the air appreciation. Oh my gosh. And you
know something the Mohawk Warriors which been so great about
this team this season is every single game they have

had focus and concentration. They have not had a single
let down at all. Only two losses as we know,
to the same team Colonel Crawford. Both of those games
went into overtime. And we also know that if Mohawk
wins this game tonight, they likely will face Colonel Crawford

in the next round as the Eagles are also playing.
They're taking on Ashland Kressview. Now that game in Ontario,
you say, well, Colonel Crawford has only one ass on
the season and it was to Cressview. It was the
very first game of the season, it was on the road,
the first game played officially for Braden Holk for Colonel
Crawford after transferring over from Worcester Tryway, and the Eagles

just really didn't shoot that well that night, So that
was just sort of an off night for them their
first game, but hey, they are favored to win the
game tonight versus Cresview at Ontario. Mohawk's favored to win
this win as well. But hey, in this team from
Mommy Valley Country Day, they have a fighting shot for sure,

because these talented young players have really been stepping up.
But yes, Mohawk, Colonel Crawford, a lot of the fans here,
that's what they're thinking about, that's what they want to see.

at Bowling Green the Stro Center, and that that place

ready for this Division six District championship game between the
Mohawk Warriors and the Mommy Valley Tree Day Hawks. It
should be an excellent battle as we take a look
at our key So the game presented by Regina event

a real team for Mohawk, We're gonna go with rebound, rebound, rebound.
We're as talented as MVCD is. The players don't make
every shot and the Hawks misses, the Warriors, well, they're
gonna have to make sure today get the rebound. At times,
there has been a failure to box out for the

Hawks and that has led to some vulnerability. So the
Warriors will want to take advantage of winning those offensive
rebounds at number two for Mohawk talk on d Mohawks
communication on the defensive end must be at the highest
level possible. The Warriors are facing a Hawks team that
thrives on creating mismatches and taking advantage when help defense

is late. They've got some excellent one on one players.
The Mohawk Warriors are gonna want to make sure that
help defense is on time efficient and making things as
difficult as possible on the Hawks. Now, as for Mammy
Valley Country Day, Run, Run Run, a part of the
Hawks strength is the ability to get out and transition

and score before the opposing defense has a chance to
get set. And the Hawks have players who rarely miss
when they get close to the rim, and those opportunities
might not be as frequent as the Hawks might like
if the Warriors are having one of those hot shooting nights.
But when the Hawks get the chance to take off
on a fast break, they must not hesitate and then

extra pass from Mommy Valley Country Day Mohawk isn't likely
to allow the Hawks to play a lot of one
on one, so there will be double teams, there will
be traps. But if the Hawks have strong passing they're
willing to make that extra pass, there could wind up
being opportunities for some open looks as the Warriors try

six being contested at the Mruger Mayer Gymnasium at old
Ford High School in Tiffan, Ohio, Sinica County. Mommy Valley
Country Day is a three seed Mohawk the top seeded
the Mommy Valley Country Day Hawks have arrived from Toledo,
Lucas County, a trip of about forty five mile. The

Mohawk Warriors have made it here from Sycamore Wine Dot County,
a trip about twenty miles to Tommy Valley Country day
Hawks have a record of sixteen and eight. They're coming
off of Wednesday night district semifinal victory over Hope Well
Loudon forty nine to forty. The Mohawk Warriors carry a
record of twenty one and two. They're coming off of
sixty two to fifty four victory over Toledo Christian and
their district semifinal on Wednesday. Mohawk is a member of
