Speaker 3 (00:20):
All right, so a new poll found that people over
the age of forty five say they would be comfortable
doing this in public if necessary, while people under the
age of forty five say I would never do this
in public.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Okay? In public is the key? All right?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Eight seven seven nine eight one oh nine eight one
is how you reach us? Of course, you can send
us your guesses with our iHeartRadio app using that talkback Mike,
It's Sheila in San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
You've got a guess. What's your guess?
Speaker 2 (00:49):
They clothes?
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Oh my gosh, take off their clothes.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Well, I mean that's just Beta Breakers, right, We've all
been there. Every time there's a naked person at Beta
Breakers in San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
They're definitely over the age of forty five. I'm sure
it does trend that way. Certainly does. I'm going to
guess it's not the answer. It's not the answer, all right, Chila,
thanks for calling in this morning and guessing.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Okay, Nancy in San Jose, you've got a guess. Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
I will just say, Nancy, before you even try to
answer this, I just looked at the answer, and I
think I'm going to disagree with us.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
I hope that helps nance. I think younger people would
would do this, or people over forty five would. We
don't think anybody likes doing this. Oh, I disagree with
you because I think this is correct. Now we're really confused,
So Nancy, good luck after that.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (01:45):
Introducing yourself to a stranger.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Okay, Oh yeah, going up to somebody saying, hey, my
name is Court, nice to meet you.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I'm okay, okay, and we're all over the age of
forty five. Thank you speak for yourself. It's a couple
of us, Nancy, you and I are over forty five.
Speaker 6 (02:01):
I would say, I think forty five on the twenty second.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Oh this is so funny. This is perfect. Then.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
I think for younger generations it's a little you know,
getting out there and introducing yourself's they're not comfortable doing it.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
I think that's a really good thought.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
It's not the CRS answer. Yeah, here's the answer. According
to this poll, people over the age of forty five
are more comfortable sending food back to the kitchen at
a restaurant than people who are under the age of
forty five.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
The other day, for my birthday, I ordered a Grand Slam,
but I ordered it with eggs over hard.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
And they came out reason yeah, they still had plugis
show white.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
So I had to send them back and tell them
cook me some eggs that are actually no.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
I think.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
I think if you're specific in how you want something
done and it doesn't come back that way, send it back.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
What you should have done is just gone with the
moons over my hammi, because that's the winner.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Denny's restaurant, that's the that's the breakfast hand. I don't like.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
All right, we're breaking up, Nancy, that's it. If we're
talking Denny's food. I'm more of a Malibu Chicken kind
of guy. So all right, he's so good.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
All right, guy, have a good one bye.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
I'm still laughing at sluggish whites. Yeah, that was very descriptive.
I envisioned it in my brain.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
All right, Morning Breeze brain tease we play every weekday
morning here at six twenty.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Should also point out, as we're talking about breakfast food
and Denny's, this is completely unintentional. We asked the question
on our Facebook page, what is your favorite breakfast food?
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I know I was reading through some of these answers
and I want all of this. The ham and cheese
omelet from Norms Grill and Castro Valley. That's a Hank wants.
Elizabeth likes thick juicy bacon. Got a vote for cinnamon
French toasticks on.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
It's so good. Nothing better than like a cinnamon role
sometimes for breakfast. That's any time. That's pretty great.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Yeah, So join us every weekday morning at six twenty,
and of course yes, join on join our Facebook page
conversation at ninety eight one the Breeze, and.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Be sure to join us at seven forty this morning.
It's another chance to win those tickets to see Air Supply.
They're coming to the San Jose Civic on February thirteenth.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yes, we would love nothing more than for you to
be there, So be here at seven forty for your
chance to win a pair of tickets on the Breeze.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
At Breeze LeAnn Rhymes at six thirty eight Here on
ninety eight point one the Breeze, You've got the Morning
Breeze with Carolyn and Corden. It's that time of the
show where we turn it over to you with your questions.
We call it ask us Anything. Yes, you can call
us eight seven seven nine eight one, nine eight one.
You can also send us your questions using the talkback
feature on our free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
This morning at Sierra listening in Hayward, Good morning, Sierra,
ask us anything.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
What's your goofiest story you've ever done where you're like,
oh my gosh, I can't believe I just did that.
It's so embarrassed. We're like I thought mine was bad, Like,
oh man, I wouldn't want to be you.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Okay, So right, well we should probably start with Sierra. Sierra.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Yeah, you probably are asking this question for a reason. Yeah, like,
did something happen to you that comes to mind? And
that's why you brought this question up.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
You know what's so funny is that, you know, I've
seen those videos where people like walk through screen doors
and I was like, how does someone not clearly see
that a screen door is open. And one time I
was staring staying at an Airbnb in Long Beach because
I was visiting a friend and I was just having
so much fun that I walked through one and I
just sat there and I was like, so this is
how it happened so clearly. I was like, you know what,
(05:39):
in my defense, it was nighttime, so you know, everything's dark.
It was so funny. I was like, I'm a part
of the screen door club. Now this is this is
very interesting.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
The screen door close. That's a new one.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
I actually know somebody that did that. One time at
a party, ran into a screen door. They hit it
hard enough that it fell off, and they like ruined it.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
They broke it. It obviously had to be replaced.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Like what happens there though you're at someone else's house,
you walk into their screen door, you break it.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Who's picking up the tab? I think? I think you offer.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Oh you're just like a walking triple a file claim
at that moment.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
All right, Terry, that's a really great question. Thanks for
calling in this morning.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Great, Thank you so much. I really appreciate and you
have a wonderful week and happy holidays.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Oh you too. That's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Obviously you didn't offer it up there, so you're not
a member of the screen door club.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
I've run into a screen door, but I ran in
my own screen door, yeah, when no one was looking,
So I get a pass on that. But other embarrassing moments,
there been so many.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
I am notorious for thinking somebody is waving to me
from like across the room or whatever, And in fact
it happened to me over the weekend. I was at
my daughter's dance performance, and I thought the woman in
front of me, who I know, was like saying, hey,
how are you doing, but she was talking to the
woman right behind me.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Yeah, But I'm like, yeah, I'm great, thanks for asking me.
I've done that so many times.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
I was at a friends party two weeks ago or
two weekends ago, and it was like the ground was
sort of cobble stone or pavers that were like not
even not level, and I had just met somebody and
I turned around to walk away and my toe clipped
one of the stones and I did one of those
cartoons where a cartoon moves your arms and your legs
(07:24):
are just lately, I'm trying not to fall and I
caught myself, but the whole party was like, whoa you know.
I mean clearly everybody saw got away with it, but yeah,
you did it so many Yeah, I have so many
of those moments, it's hard to count.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Anyway.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
It is asked us anything every weekday morning, be thinking
of a question for tomorrow. You can send it to
us anytime with our iHeartRadio app that talkback mic and
reach us for anything anytime. Eight seven seven nine eight
one oh nine eight one.

use at seven forty when you want to win.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:58):

side this morning.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
I'm at Kaiser and I work like seven days a week,
and I work at Grave and sectionally my day off,
but coming in to help them be here for twelve hours.
It's it's raining overtime, so I'm here to collect overtime to.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Help and collect. Nothing wrong with that. Well, thank you
for doing what you do. We appreciate you. Have a
great day, all right, Thank you boy bye. Says a
lot about James loving his job to be willing to
spend twelve hours there. Would you come in absolutely? Fourteen
fifteen hours? Carolyn? Why can't you look at me?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
I mean, I mean that sincere I would be in
the little you know I would too, though, especially when
you love what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
And yeah, you know, for James, he's helping people out.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
So if you have a bright's side for us eight seven, seven, nine,
eight one oh nine to eight one.
Speaker 3 (09:29):

family member, a coworker. Nominate them at ninety eight one
The Breeze dot Com seven twenty six. Michael Jackson here
on ninety eight point one in the Breeze. It's the
Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Cordon. It's that time of
(09:51):
the morning where we get to learn something in a
very educational and informative in what's the term I'm thinking
of here, entertaining way. I think you already said that,
but yeah, did I say that? Yeah, it's sponsored by
San Francisco Symphony.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
It's the more you know. That was fantastic current. Thank
you so much so.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I was saying a second ago, if you did this
as a kid, they say, there's a very good chance
you will be successful in life.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Yeah. Before I go on, do you want to take
a guest as to what this thing might be.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
If you did this as a kid, you are going
to be there. There's a good chance, Yes, you're going to.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Be successful in life. I don't know you went to
theater camp. I didn't do that. Okay, No, that's not it. Okay.
The thing is chores. Oh you did chores.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
They say if you do chores as a kid, there
is a very high probability that you're going to be
successful in life because they say you will have health
of your relationships, you will succeed in business, and you
will demonstrate emotional resilience.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
I think that's you. You definitely did chores.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
You have a great relationship, and you have good relationships,
you're successful in business, I mean, and and you demonstrate
emotional resilience.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
I think that's you. Okay, I did you ask me?
Speaker 3 (11:13):
I was saying, did you just you just listed off
those those qualities in a person? And I was just like,
that's Carolyn mccartial.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
What was the chore that you did that you disliked
the most?
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Well, So, my we had we had a little bit
of property behind our house growing up that my dad
always had a garden, and I in the when it
made sense, I'd have to go weed the garden.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Oh that was the worst I was.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
And but sometimes like my dad would have because he
would always it was always interesting. He would talk to
my neighbors. There's like shared property around each other, and
so he would like, hey, can I quote farm your land?
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Oh, would go out.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
So sometimes the garden was like twice as big because
he was using the neighbors land.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
And so I have to go out and weed that.
Oh that's the worst.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
I never would have lot of weeding as a chore,
but you're right, we had to do that as well.
It was a once a year project and my mom
would pay us a dollar and my brother and I
would spend all weekend in the backyard pulling weeds. Got
paid a dollar, paid nothing. I think the one I
disliked the most was dusting. Oh, when you get the
bookshelf or you get something that has a bunch of
(12:19):
knick knacks on it. I haven't said nick knacks in
a long time, but it's got nick knacks on it,
and you have to like move stuff. And if you don't,
your mom or dad will call you out on the
fact that you dusted around it.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Pick up that blah blah blah. Make sure you that one.
I couldn't.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
That's a classic kid move. Because over the weekend we
had our daughter Sloan do some dusting. It was some
very light dusting and it should have been a little
more aggressive.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah, you can always tell when the canapledge just remains full,
like one hundred percent of the time.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
All right, it's the more, you know.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
We do it every weekday morning at seven twenty five
Here on the Breeze, we are about ten minutes away
now from your next chance to win those tickets to
go see Air Supply, who is celebrated fifty years together
as a group.
Speaker 3 (13:02):

Valentine's Day at the San Jose Civic and we would

Speaker 2 (13:43):
His name is DJ. Well, please tell DJ that these DJs, Hey, Hi,
I love it.
Speaker 1 (13:51):

Speaker 2 (13:53):

your name and where are you listening to us?
Speaker 5 (13:58):

Speaker 6 (13:59):

forty here on the morning Brees.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
Love listening to you guys.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
You just make my day every day.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
It's Atlantic Star and always on the Bay's number one
for relaxing favorites at work. Ninety eight point one The Breeze,
Morning Breeze. It's Carolyn and Court. It's eight oh six.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Court.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
You were just saying that you did something fairly embarrassing yesterday.
This is not a surprise. It's just a matter at
this point of what did you do, which Which thing
did you do though? What wasn't?
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (14:43):
So yesterday I was grocery shopping and I was sending
in like the soup aisle, love my soup, as you
do you do eventually. So I was there for a
little bit and the security guard that works at the
grocery store came over to me and he's like, hey,
hey man, you good like I'm f And he's like, well,
you keep giving me the thumbs up. And I thought
(15:03):
maybe you were signaling me something. And I'm like, give
me a thumbs up. And then I realized. So last
week I cut my thumb's stuff the tip of my thumb. Yes,
this is a story in and of itself. And I
kept looking at my thumb because, like you know, the
scab is kind of coming off, and I would pick
at it and I look at it, and so I
kept looking at my thumb. So I'm looking at my
thumb and I just keep kind of my thumb up
(15:26):
and this security guard kind of across the way keep
seeing me give him the thumbs up.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
That is thinking that. I'm like like, hey, dude, thumbs up.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I'm gonna throw this out there. Do you think he
thought you were crazy and came over and just used
the thumb as an excuse, as an excuse, because the
what you're describing, what people can't see behind the scenes,
is you just keep looking down at your thumb and
making a funny face. So I just wonder if he's like, hey,
is that guy Okay, I better go investigate my gateway
is the thumb situation.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
I'm just I'm because I'm looking at my thumb from
over the top to just make sure that there's no
you know, some dead skin.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Okay at it?
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Yep, but a right, but apparently it was misqueuing the
security guard and the thumb.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
So did you say, like, hey, cut the tip of
my finger? I did.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
I said, I inadvertently cut the tip of my thumb
with my razor blade.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Did he laugh like Santa like, oh that is funny
and then walk away?
Speaker 1 (16:21):
He did laugh. It was not like Santa Claus.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
I just wanted to clarify, Yeah, all right, right, this
guy works out this.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Time of the year. You never know, you never know
they're gonna laugh, like.
Speaker 2 (16:32):

Speaker 1 (17:09):
And I know my daughter's school, Like I was like,

Speaker 2 (17:13):

are you even going to school? All right, we're back
in a sack on the Breeze. It's the morning Breeze
with Carolyn and Court. Earlier this morning we were talking
about our favorite breakfast foods. We also have this question
on our Facebook page at ninety eight one of the Breeze.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
That's right for me. I love a good cinnamon roll.
Can't go wrong. Yeah, we talked about that earlier and
we've got to talk back on it.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
