Speaker 4 (01:03):
Blink blink, that's a little low. I guess that's my guest,
I said.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Okay, that's my guess. I said it. That's your guests,
and you're sticking to it and your answer is wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Okay, but that's cool.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
You're listening to us on our iHeartRadio AP in Texas.
Where are you in Texas?

Speaker 4 (01:21):
San Antonio? Yeah, but I used to live in the
area and your station reminds me home, so I listened
to it every day.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
We hear that a lot from people. I love to
hear that.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yeah, we appreciate you guys doing your thing there.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
The least we can do is to do our thing. Wow, job,
that's there is nothing but the game. I'm just a
modest guy.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
You guys have a good day.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Okay, by now, Okay, James and Fremont, good morning. What
is your guest for the brain tease?

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Oh wow?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Oh my gosh. If I coughed one hundred and sixteen
times today, I don't think is right.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
But if I did, Oh yeah, sorry about the bad answer.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Now, it's a great answer, James. You can talk all
day long. You should have wrong answers all day and
I'd still listen to that voice.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
James.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
We're workshopping your answer and what we're doing. You like
it so much.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Coughing, solid answer, it's not the one we're looking for.
Average person will check their phone fifty eight times today.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Wow, that's it.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
It's like, that's it people. Those people want to do more.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
You ask a teenager, that's probably fifty eight times an
Hour's exactly right?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
You are so right.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Yeah, sorry I didn't get it. But y'all have a
great day.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, it's nice talking to you. James, call any time.
All right, My dang I would I by the way,
the other day on my phone. Speaking of checking your phone, yes,
you know how it shows you how many hours you
bet on your phone in a day. They're like, I
think if you swipe left on your or swipe right

(03:04):
on your iPhone, it.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Pulls up to pull up. But I think every Sunday
it also sends you a weekly report. You said report,
and I got mine on Sunday. Pretty eye opening, right,
I was embarrassed. Well, here here's how I'm gonna make
you feel better. You do all the editing of the
videos that we put out on social media. So I'm
gonna give you a pass to say that my phone
is my ten of that was videos. Let's go twenty okay,

(03:29):
all right, morning, Breeze Brain Tease. We do it every
weekday morning at six twenty here on the Breeze and
coming at this morning at eight oh five, another chance
to win those tickets to see Ed Sheeran, who's coming
to the Levi Stadium July twenty fifth. In fact, your
first chance of three today. M We do it at
eight o five, ten oh five, and four oh five.
And I believe last time he was in town playing

(03:50):
Levi Stadium, that show sold out. So you're gonna have
a chance to win those tickets. That is coming up
eight oh five, Your first chance today on the Breeze, Breese.
It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court and let's
get right to it. We do ask us anything every
weekday morning at this time. We love taking your calls
either on the phone or through our iHeart Radio app

(04:11):
using that talkback microphone. The nice thing about that is
you can use that anytime day or night.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yeah. I woke up this morning at one thirty in
the morning and I sent myself an email that could
be you with a talkback We can only wait. Yeah,
you wake up and you're like got to get to
Carolyn in Court. That's how you do it the talkback
mic on our iHeart Radio app. Any question, we are
here to answer for you and Steve and Alameda has
our question this morning. All right, Steve, ask us anything.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
I wanted to know what you guys are watching on
Netflix or you know who's a lot of good lately?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Well, we're watching on Netflix.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Okay, great question, or any or any other platform any Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah, I'm a big fan on Apple TV. It's called Pluribus.
It's this new kind of sci fi series. It's really good.

Speaker 6 (04:58):
Okay, that's kind of alien alien stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Alien sci fi.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
Stop.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, that's really good.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Well, Stranger Things is really Stranger.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Things is a big deal right now. I've just been
watched the new season. Yeah, it's good. I am more
of a ninety day Fiance on TLC. Okay, and I
need to start the second season on Netflix of A
Man on the Inside with Ted Danson. Oh, I started it.
Is it good?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I was watching it yesterday and I laughed out loud
so hard really at one of the episodes.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
It is funny. Oh good, that's so good to know, Steve.
What are you watching?

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Well?

Speaker 6 (05:31):
The Beast within Me, I thought was tremendous with Clary Danes. Okay,
that's a real trailer with Matthew Raised, you know from
the Americans.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
He's really oh yeah, yeah, yeah, love it.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
That's on my list actually have things to watch, so
I'm going to make sure I pushed that towards the Dyeah.

Speaker 6 (05:47):
I really did that one that that really got me.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Thanks you guys, Oh my gosh, Steve, thank you for calling.
Oh thank you.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
I've got one more to add that I've been watching
YEP on Netflix is uh my next guest needs no
introduction with Dave Letterman. Oh yeah, I I really like
that show. It makes me miss David Letterman when he
was on the air and realize, like I really enjoyed
his interviews, and so to watch him do the show
where he brings on celebrities and he interviews them like

(06:15):
it's crazy and.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
It's a more casual interview than what we ever got
on his late show. Totally, it's he can take as
long as he wants. It's it's kind of like a podcast,
which you're watching it. It's exactly that.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
It's so laid back and he's had like I'm watching
the one with Adam Sandler now. But he said, like
Miley Cyrus on there and Caitlin Clark and Charles Barkley.
I mean, it's a long list, so check that out
if you're a Letterman fan. It's really good. We watch
a lot of TV. You do. I watch you saying
you do like your family.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I know, I'm just saying we in general, whether I
mean watching all my crazy shows and you watching your
ninety Day Fiance and ninety Days the other way, and
there's like ten different versions of that TV show.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
So good though, I mean, just just no need to stop,
all right, ask us anything. We do it every weekday morning.
At this time, it's six point forty here on the Breeze,
and just a reminder coming up eight oh five a
chance for you to win tickets to see Ed Sharon.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Yeah, he's coming to Levi Stadium July twenty fifth, and
we've got your first of three chances to win today
eight oh five, ten oh five and four oh five
here on the Breeze and be on at seven oh
five here on ninety eight point one the Breeze.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
It's the Morning Breeze.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
With Carolyn and Cord in time now for the Brighter Side,
sponsored by Shriving Company Luxury time Pieces, fine designers and
flawless diamonds. The brighter side is all about the good
and positive things that are happening in your life. I
like to say it's a time for you to brag
a little bit, and it's okay if you want. There
is no judgment at all with the brighter side in bragging.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Give us a call eight seven seven nine eight one
nine eight one. You can also send us your brighter
sides using the talkback feature on our free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
We've got Nancy and San Jose. So you're on the road,
you said, the brighter side today for you has to
do with whatever you're doing on the road. What are
you doing?

Speaker 3 (07:57):
I'm driving twelve hours a day doing ups package delivery
out my personal vehicle.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
How's it going so far this holiday season doing ups?

Speaker 3 (08:07):
It's extraordinarily busy.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yeah. Have you done this in the past?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (08:12):
And you think this is like busier than previous seasons
or about the same.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
It's a much busier than last year and about on
par with during COVID.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Okay, whoa, I wonder what that is. We tried to
get all of our shopping done early this year, earlier
than last year.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
So what do you think, Nancy, do you think that's
what people are doing, They're just trying to get their
shopping done earlier, or do you have another theory as
to why it's so busy.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, I think I think they're just trying to get
their shopping.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
There earlier, less stress. I didn't know that UPS drivers
or the UPS also had like like Amazon had contract
workers personal vehicle. Yeah, I didn't know UPS did that also.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Well, I've been doing it this is year six. I
think they've been doing it.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Seven or eight.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
I just found out about it, like during COVID years ago.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
You like it though, right?

Speaker 4 (09:02):
I do.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
It's something I enjoy and it makes that beat to
be out here doing it.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I was wondering what you like the most about it, Like,
what makes you want to keep doing it year after year?

Speaker 4 (09:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
I guess the stress and the challenge of getting everything
delivered that they assigned to you each day, and then
knowing that there weren't drivers like me out here doing
this deliveries. Wouldn't you know, like like Amazon, they couldn't
do it without all their little extra drivers, and these
guys couldn't do without extra helpers and extra drivers.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I mean that actually shows you how many packages are
delivery when UPS or Amazon can't handle them all. They
have to hire extra people to drive their personal vehicle
right through.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Any neighborhood right now, and there's multiple delivery trucks and
people in personal cars making deliveries too.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Oh nuts, that's absolutely true.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
We'll be on the same street with the FedEx, Amazon
Ups myself, the door to door people.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, yeah, are doing the good work. Well, Nancy, that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Yeah, I enjoy it, all.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Right, Nancy, have a good day. Be safe out there today.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
All right, great morning, bye bye bye.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
It's also as we talk to Nancy or a minder,
to just be super kind to all these delivery people.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Yes, and be careful because a lot of times they
stop their trucks if they're driving trucks for their personal
vehicles and they're out like running in front of their
car or truck to deliver across the streets. Right, just
slow down. I gotta treat them like school buses as
you should have stopped them. Yeah, be careful. Yes, the
brighter side, we do it every weekday morning at seven

(10:36):
o five, seven ten around the sort.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
We do it.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
When we do it. No, it's right around this time
every weekday morning here on the breeze. Here's something more
specific for you. Eight oh five.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yes, that is when we're gonna give away another pair
of Ed Sharing concert tickets.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Yes, that one's going to be on the notes, so
Ed Sheer in July twenty fifth at Levi Stadium. Eight
oh five, ten oh five, four oh five. Every day
this week your chance to win those tickets. And those
are hot tots. Oh yeah, everybody's talking about this show.
So aighto five your next chance. It's Billy Joel just
the way you are seven?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Are you just over there pretending to I guess how
that you're doing? Like the back out the saxophone fingering? Yes, wow, yeah,
people do it with guitar. People do it with drums.
Guess what air Sex former sax players do it too.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Wow. Okay, morning breeze, Carolyn and Court, it's time for
the More you Know. And it is sponsored by the
San Francisco Symphony.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
So, as I just stated, we often think of people
who talk to themselves as maybe being a little off. Yeah,
but research actually finds they may be the healthiest people
out there.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Oh thank goodness, I'm healthy as a horse. There you go.
Do you talk to yourself a lot? I was talking
to Perk this morning, okay, before we came to work.
Perk is my dog, and I then also said to
myself out loud, Wow, you have really turned into mom
when you're talking to Perk.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
Though.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Are you talking to Perk about perk things or are you
talking through your own things?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Uh? I if you want to know the details of
what happened this morning, I tried to feed her a cookie.
It fell on the ground, went under the stove, and
I said, I'm so sorry, little girl. That's my bad.
So what do you make of that, Professor, I'm not exact.
I don't know if that's exactly what This scientist, this.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Behavioral immunologist, we're just gonna call him a researcher.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah, that's easier.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Basically discovered that people who rarely got sick, both mentally
and physically, often speak out loud. He noticed this as
a habit that happens in everyday setting, supermarkets, driving, walking,
and did some research and actually found that it's linked
to your nervous system regulation.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
I wonder if you're like letting out stress by speaking
whatever you're thinking out loud.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah, and releasing it from your boss exactly what it is.
He put monitors on people, and this real time tracking
showed that speaking inner thoughts reduced stress hormones by thirty
five percent just saying things out loud.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
I feel like right now in this studio, I talked
out loud a lot, and you never do. I can
just bottle it up. That's well, you're read your own research.
It's not good for you. Apparently, just recently read this okay,
that basically says speaking activates the vegus nerve, which slows
your heart rate and signals to the immune system to

(13:18):
stop overreacting.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Well, what's interesting about this is not only does it
helping you in a in like a mental state, Yeah,
it's also helping you physic this because it does talk
to your immune system and helps you just be healthier.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
I just like that. Apparently it's normal and that makes
me feel better. Yeah, so thank you. Core. It's like
self therapy, it is. That's good.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
The more you know, I like that one. Maybe you
should go see a therapist, but you could also just
talk to yourself.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Well, I can read between those lines, and it's the
more you know, and we do it every weekday morning
at this time, coming up at eight oh five this morning,
ten oh five this morning, four oh five, this afternoon.
More chances for you to win those tickets to see
Ed sharing.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
He puts on quite the show and he's coming to
leave Ice Stadium July twenty fifth, and we would love
to send you on our dime.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Yeah, so be here at eight oh five. That is
your next chance to win on the Morning Breeze. Hi,
good morning the Breeze.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
You have a question what number do I call for
to win Ed Sharon ticket?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Do I call this number or do I call it
different ones?

Speaker 2 (14:18):
So if you called eight seven seven nine eight one
nine eight one, which I am assuming you.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Did, well, that's the number we're answering. We're talking to
you right now.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, this is the number to call, all right, donker.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Okay, eight oh five, ten oh five and four oh five.
You a big fan of Ed Sharon?

Speaker 4 (14:34):
Yes? I am.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
My girlfriend is, so I'm trying to, you know, surprise
her and this will be a great way to do it.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
That's very smart. Hey, yeah, right? Are you a big
fan of Court Johnson?

Speaker 5 (14:44):
I am?

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Okay, good, okay, good? What about your girlfriend?

Speaker 4 (14:51):
She's fifty fifty.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Most people are.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Yeah, but all right, hopefully I talk to you guys.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yeah, right now I sound a little more hectic, but
I'll be more common, all right, Thank you? Bye, you
got it? Bye. Hi, Good morning to Breeze. Who is this?

Speaker 5 (15:15):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Hi?

Speaker 5 (15:16):
My name is Joe wo.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Hello, Joe, how are you today?

Speaker 6 (15:21):
I'm hoping I'm doing really great.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Joe, you're doing pretty great. You are doing pretty great
on a scale of one to ten. Hey, don't want
to him, just Joe. You've won. Oh sweet, Oh my god,
I love that guy.

Speaker 6 (15:36):
Yes, you guys are so nice.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
We're happy to do it for you. We appreciate you listening. Joe,
where are you listening to us?

Speaker 5 (15:44):
I'm here in Walnut Creek.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
We got a pair of tickets for you to see
Ed Sheer in July twenty fifth at Levi Stadium courtesy
of Messina Touring Group, and tickets are on sale now
at Ticketmaster.

Speaker 6 (15:56):
Beautiful.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
And we should also point out we got multiple chances
for you to win every single time, So we just
gave away tickets to dayto five again at ten oh
five and again at four oh five, and then there's
a bonus chance for you to win tickets on our
Instagram page.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yes ninety eight one of the breeze on Instagram as well,
So if you didn't win, you got a multiple more
chances to win, especially for you ed Cheran fans out there, Yes,
and there are a lot of you us included. I
realized I was driving into San Francisco over the weekend
and I come in the morning usually right and it's
dark out, so you're coming in this weekend, and I noticed, Man,

(16:31):
there are a lot of billboards when you're getting off
the Bay Bridge, as they're kind of always have been.
But what I realized about those billboards is that I
don't understand what half of them are saying, Like, oh,
everything on the billboards these days are about AI and
modern technology, and I realized how far removed I am from,

(16:52):
Like that world. I get it, that's the world we
live in. But I saw terms like agent force and
inference and AI code and fakes and super intelligence cloud
and I'm like, I get, that's technology. That's all I know.
Obviously not for you, I know, but don't you remember
back in the day billboards were about like coffee and soda,

(17:17):
two hamburgers for three dollars at McDonald's. Yeah, movies, exactly, exactly,
I understand that, and now it's so kicked up. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
The agent's one is that I see a lot. In fact,
I saw a couple of them yesterday where it's like agents.
Agents will answer your email before you even know it.
I see that, and your phone calls too.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
What is an agent? Yes? Agent AI? Yes, okay, it's
like AI returning your email. And then I'm like, this
is what my parents went through when voicemail came out
and they were using answream machines.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
I was, you know, I was on a BART platform
yesterday and every single little ad that was down in
Bart was directed towards AI or somebody in the tech field,
which obviously makes sense we're in the Bay area.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
But yeah, where were you going on Bart? Just traveling
around headed out to the mission? Is it on Bart?
What on your Monday?

Speaker 6 (18:06):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Hey, good for you?

Speaker 5 (18:07):
What not?

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Good for you? But yeah, we are at eight seven
seven nine eight one nine eight one. Send us a
message anytime our iHeartRadio app that talk back Mike, great
way to reach out to us. And coming up later
this hour, we are going to be commercial free here
on the Breeze and.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Ninety eight minutes of non stop commercial, free, relaxing favorites,
and we'll kick that off at eight fifty.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Here are the Morning Breeze. It's Luther at eight forty
the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court. It's time for
the move Luther. Who which luthor are we talking about here?
I don't know if it's Vandross or Van Dross? Okay
is that really? Yes? All right, sorry, it's time for

(18:48):
the Morning Breeze brain tease. We do it every weekday
morning and at eight forty, sponsored by Mike Council Plumbing. Okay,
the question one more time. The average person will do
this fifty eight times today eight seven a nine eight
one oh nine eight one. Manuel in Texas, Good morning,
what's your guess?

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Blink blink, that's a little low. I guess that's my guest,
I said.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Okay, that's my guess. I said it. That's your guests,
and you're sticking to it and your answer is wrong.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Okay, but that's cool.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
You're listening to us on our iHeartRadio AP in Texas.
Where are you in Texas?

Speaker 4 (19:25):
San Antonio? Yeah, but I used to live in the
area and your station reminds me home, so I listened
to it every day.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
We hear that a lot from people. I love to
hear that.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Yeah, we appreciate you guys doing your thing there.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
The least we can do is to do our thing. Wow, job,
that's court. There is nothing but the games. I'm just
a modest guy.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
You guys have a good day, okay.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
By now, Okay, James and Fremont, good morning. What is
your guest for the brain tease?

Speaker 5 (19:57):
Oh? Wow?

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Sorry answer now, it's a great answer, James.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
You can talk all day long. You should have wrong
answers all day and I'd still listen to that voice. James,
we're work shopping. Your answer and what we're doing. You
like it so much?

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Coffing, solid answer, it's not the one we're looking for.
Average person will check their phone fifty eight times today.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Wow, that's it.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
