Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Morning Breeze, Morning Breeze on demand.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Remember Carolyn, when you can run down to the music
store and buy the piano music for all your favorite songs.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Yeah, the sheet music. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
My sister had Eternal Flame from the Baby for piano
for piano, and I can't remember what summer it was,
but every single morning when she was practicing piano, Oh
that's what we got.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
That's so awesome. I used to do that with saxophone.
I'd go try and find like it would be like
Eternal Flame on saxophone, which my parents are probably come
home with that sheet music.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Good luck. Yeah, that's cute though.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
I miss those days of being able to go to
the music store and buy sheet music for whatever instrument
you were practicing.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Sure, now you just look online. You can find that
the tutorials and all that stuff online. It's it's not
quite the same, not the same. Six twenty is the time,
and that means it's time for the Morning Breeze. Brain tease,
your chance to, I don't know, wake up the brain
just a little bit, move those cobwebs at cobwebs out
of the out of the brain. I think you could
use a little bit the brain teas this morning. Yeah,

(01:01):
it's sponsored by Mike Cancel Plumbing. You're in clean hands
with Mike Cancel Plumbing. Visit them at mc plumbing dot com. Okay,
what is our question again this morning? Some people do
this almost every night after dinner, but experts say you
may not want to be doing that. It's not a
good idea.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Eight seven seven nine eight one O nine eight one.
That is how you reach us with your guesses. We're
going to start with you, David in hollist or a
good morning. What do you think?

Speaker 5 (01:25):
The answer is, I do think maybe brush their teeth.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Brush your teeth?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Now, why would that be the case?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
If you brush your teeth too soon after eating or drinking,
it's not good for the enamel on your teeth, You're suppose,
because I'm not exactly sure why, Like the acids that
are in your food are there and still present, and
so when you brush there's some sort of it's bad.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Oh, I've heard that specifically about soda.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I feel like that theory started out sure strong, but
then it just became like, I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Why I do it.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I'm not a doctor, I'm not a dentist, but I'm
sure there's a dentist that could call in and tell
us otherwise.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I would love to hear from the dentist.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah. I think that's a solid answer, David.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Okay, but that's not correct either.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
It's too well, it's not the correct answer. You do
know us. Thanks for calling, David, have a good day.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Catherine in Santa Rosa. What do you think the answer is?

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Is it brushing your teeth?

Speaker 4 (02:20):
You know, the person before you had that same guess,
and I thought that guest was so random, And here's
another person with Catherine saying brushing your teeth.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
There's some logic behind it.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
What is your logic behind this? Why would it be bad? Catherine?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I just heard that it's bad that overbrush your teeth
every day, and I know a lot of people do
it two or three times a day.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
You ever see somebody's toothbrush where the bristles are like flat,
and you wonder what has happened your mouth?

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yes, either they're overbrushing or they tooth brushing.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
No, it's like a mouth attack from their toothbrush, Like
what happens there are chewing on your toothbrush?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
So another good guess. That's a good guest, but not
the correct answer.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Okay, so what is the answer to this one correct answer?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
People do this every night after dinner, But experts say
it's not a good idea that soaking your pots and
dishes in the sink overnight.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Soaking your pots and dishes as really why.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Because I think the cesspool of liquid sitting in your
sink just becomes bacterias floating around in there and overnight
just a long time.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
It is kind of gross.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
The next day if you do that, when you go
to your sink and you're like, who's gonna put their
hand in there and pull the drain plug out.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
You basically have a swamp sitting in your kitchen overnight.
Good talk.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Aren't you glad you called Catherine?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (03:36):
Yes, I am.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
This is my morning. I'm like heading to work and
this is great.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You guys are fun.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Well, thank you. We appreciate you listening. Have a great day.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Join us every weekday morning for the Morning Breeze brain teas.
We do it every weekday morning at this time six'
twenty here on The Morning.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
BREEZE i think it's a good time to remind people
to court that coming up On, friday we're halfway through
the week And friday morn just after seven o'clock we
do it every single week we announce a New Morning
Breeze person of The. Week there is still plenty of
time if you've been kind of sitting on this and
just saying, Yourself i'll get that nomination, in but you
haven't done it. Yet now is a good time to do.
It we want to know who that special person is

(04:15):
in your. Life, yeah these are people in The Bay
area doing good. Things and these could be, good, big
gigantic things that are super, noticeable but they could be
also be very subtle things that somebody's just constantly doing
for their community or their family. MEMBERS i feel like
the subtle, Things so those are my favorite ones because
those are the people that don't expect. Anything not that
the ones that do big things expect things in, return

(04:35):
but the people that do the subtle. Things it could
be like you're getting the mail for neighbor every, day
right going down to their mailbox for them because they
can't make their way down the driveway or things like.
That so we want to know who that person is
in your life that is so. Special it's always going
above and beyond nominate them for Our Morning Breeze person
of The. Week get your nominations in ninety eight. One
The breeze dot com At. Earthwes you, know play a

(05:00):
lot of songs here on The breeze that you will
hear only on our radio. Station, yeah that is one
of those songs right there from The. Beg's it's pretty
great specific to The, breeze and we're proud of. That
we are ninety eight point when The breeze six forty,
one it's The Morning. Breeze It's carolyn And court and
it is time for the more you, know which Is Court.

(05:22):
Johnson sounds so, OFFICIAL i, Know. Carolyn are you familiar
with the term fiber. Maxing, No fiber maxing is a
new trend amongst Gen z to intentionally add more fiber
to their. Diet, oh which is interesting because when you.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Hear about fiber that typically sounds like middle aged man
type stuff that says you need to add more. Fibers, yeah, yeah,
Yeah well Gen z they caught onto this early and they're,
like we're just gonna do this ahead of.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Time, Really, SEE i thought Gen z was into high protein,
diet low carb, sure by that doesn't mean you can't
have a lot of fiber in there, obviously if you
if you follow the scientific studies AS i, do when
it comes to, fiber fiber is linked to living a longer,
life like just increasing the fiber intake into your.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Body they found that the health that benefits are just
so good for.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
You i'm just thinking back to GEN x and how
we ate growing up tab soda with a sandwich that
consisted of wonderbread and bread with cheese with mayonnaise and butter.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Or miracle whip or miracle. Whip there's a big.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Difference and now these kids are, like you know, WHAT
i need more, protein protein or. FIBER i didn't even
know what protein or fiber was probably back in the.
DAY i just knew like bagel bites and.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Soda the only time you heard about fiber was when
they were pushing those like those high brand fiber breakfast.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Cereals oh those are for old, people remember that's.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, so the the pros obviously of fiber maxine is
that it helps helps gut, health digest of, health weight, control,
Helped it's good for your cardiovascular. System, sure so they're
they're doing things like veggies and fruits and whole grains
and chia seeds is a big. One kids are so
educated these. Days, first there's the. Downsides you could overdo
it on the fiber, side, discomfort.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Under.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Nourishment you're getting all. Them you're getting too many of
one thing and not enough of.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
The, yeah but good for good for the, kids.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Fiber, maxie AND i am here to tell you YESTERDAY
i went out and bought myself a big old bag
Of brussels.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Sprouts, oh those have a ton of. Fiber you've also
been known to walk to your Local costco here In
San francisco to buy a large thing Of meta. Muscles
so you have in the fiber department you were dialed.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
In meta muscle is another great source of. Fiber thanks
for bringing that, up care.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
But you brought it up one SO i feel like
it's an open. Game i've already talked about. IT i
am a proud user Of Meta. Muscle it's. DELICIOUS i
have a glass every morning you.

Again carolyn's having some issues with a what are we talking?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Lyft we talking To?

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Uber so it's a ride share. VEHICLE i got a
ride home the other day from the car. DEALERSHIP i
had to take my car and to have work. Done,
yeah And i'm coming home in this ride share. Vehicle
i'm halfway through the ride and the driver gets a.
Notification and this Notification court was so. Loud you know

(16:04):
when like you're in your car and you've got Your
bluetooth on and the volume of your phone is all
the way, up even though maybe your volume on your
radio is like. Halfway but this thing so. Loud, YES
i jumped like, Whoa AND i thought his reaction would BE,

(16:27):
Whoa i'm sorry about. That that is really, loud and
he would turn it down. Nothing so THEN i thought
what just happened was? That AND i saw it was
a text that had come.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Through i'm like.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
PLEASE i hope nobody texts him. Again it happened, again.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Bling so loud AGAIN i.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Jump and Now i'm like thinking about when we've talked
about this, before When i've had rideshare issues and we
talk about in the air and people call and they,
say you, know you can very nicely say to the.
Driver But i'm so non. Confrontational i'm not doing. Anything
What i'm doing is freezing in the back, seat unable
to move because Now i'm anticipating the next, notification waiting for.

(17:08):
It i'm just sitting there, still and then it came
through again right WHEN i let my guard.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Down, boom another.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Notification this went on for the second half of the ride,
home WHERE i could not get out of that car fast.
Enough so then my friend was, like you have to
give them a review because the car dealership sent the.
Car it's not my, account like it's on. Them SO
i went and did a, review AND i was very.
Nice they gave him three stars instead of, five but not. Zero,

(17:39):
WELL i thought three is like a c like he
got me home in. Time but and his car reached
of cigarettes and it burned my.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Eyes, okay SO i wrote that in the.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Comments the car smells like, cigarettes and his notifications were still.
Loud it was it. Was it was making me jump
out of my seat every. TIME i didn't think anything of.
It fast forward to like two days, LATER i get
a text on my phone from the ride share company support, Saying,
hey we'd like to talk to you About, well now
it's With Audi Poor Audi conquered is getting the. Notification

(18:13):
they've escalated the, Issue, carolyn.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
But it's their.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Account and Now i'm, like DO i go to the
dealership and, say, hey you're going to get this thing
from this ridehair?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Company, LIKE i.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
DON'T i don't know what to.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
DO i was just providing some. Feedback, sure now you've.
Started it's your in, motion but it's out of your.
Control SO i guess my question, is, again what would
you've done court if you were in this.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Car i'm telling you it was.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Alarmed, yeah, YEAH i have been in that. Situation i'm
very much like. You i'm very non. Confrontational.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah in, FACT i was in a ride chair the
other day and the, driver a really great, driver was
trying to have a conversation with, me but he was
also just blasting his music at the same.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Time AND i want to be, LIKE.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
I am a forty seven year old man who's been
in the radio industry for most of my. Life i'm
losing my. Hearing could you please turn it. Down it's
a lot of, information but that's why my hearing is going. On,
yeah BUT i just, SO i JUST i would just
laugh WHERE i felt appropriate and say yes or no
WHERE i had no idea what he was, asking no.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Idea i've had a whole conversation with someone in a
ride shair vehicle AND i have no idea what the conversation,
was BUT i laughed through throughout the whole.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
