That's My heart is the ocean, or to the ocean.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Ocean, sit on the sand and watch the ocean and
the waves crash.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
That's where I get my hug.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
What's your favorite ocean? Like where?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
If you have a choice as to where you're gonna
go watch the waves crash, where are you going me?

Speaker 6 (01:21):
Or mar?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Oh mirror mar? Yes, good call on that and watch
the surfers.

Speaker 6 (01:27):
That's where I go.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's great right now, even you talking about it, Kathy,
sounds great. Yeah, it's very peaceful going to the beach.
A nice warm hug, that's a good gas.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yeah, And even during the winter, I like to go
to Barber's fish Trap and get my fish and chips
and just grab a soda and sit in the car
and watch the waves.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Man, you may have a plus two next time you
do that in the winter.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
It can be hungry. But like, this sounds great.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
If they can't reach me, they know right where I'm
at exactly shut down.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah, this is one of those ones where I'm gonna
say you're not wrong because it's.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
A great answer.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
It's a great answer, and if it brings you comfort
and it feels like like a nice real hug, then
who am I to say that it's wrong? But in
this case, it's not the answer I'm looking for.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
I want to know the answer.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
I want to know your answer.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Correct answer.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Doing this, which is chatting with your mom on the phone,
is comforting to your body as getting a real hug.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
ME say that, but I don't have my mom anymore.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I would have said that.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
But man, I like your answer. Klamari and Soda in
a car waves. I'm with you, Kathy.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I do.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
And I actually used to take my mom with me
and she was so sweet.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Well, go into your day, Thank you for calling in.
I appreciate it, and have a great day.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Oh you're welcome.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
My mom was having a rough day the other day
court and she it was like reversed. She needed to
hear my voe sure and one of the caregivers at
where she lives called me and just put her on
the phone with me, and it just changed everything.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
She was like, Oh my.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Gosh, I'm so good now, I'm so glad I got
to It's crazy what a difference that can make.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I think it works both ways. Yes, you need that
comfort in your life. You go to the person who
brought you a lot of comfort when you were younger. Yep,
and oftentimes that's your mom.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Could be your dad.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah, oh absolutely, these people are still in your life
and you're able to do it.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Make that phone call today, do it. Do it. And
as you get older, certainly role reversal. Yeah, in that sense.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
But the Morning Breeze brain Teas we play every weekday
morning here at six twenty.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Coming up later in the show eight fifty, as you
begin your work day, and we should say, like you
might already be working right now.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Absolutely a lot of people are. So maybe you're halfway
through your ship. You just know this, halfway through your shift,
We're going to give you ninety eight minutes of NonStop,
commercial free, relaxing favorites to make it just a little
bit better.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I just took a peak.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
We've got George Michael, We've got Marvin Gay, we've got
the Cranberry's, Madonna, Foreigner, Billy Joel, Gloria stuff on, Mariah Carey.
And that's just the beginning, right Yeah, we're commercial free
for ninety eight minutes. We started at eight fifty right here, Elise.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
That is Glenn.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Madero since the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
At six forty three. Carolyn.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
The saying money doesn't buy happiness has been around for
centuries for sure, But according to new research study, researchers say,
what does bring happiness?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Money? Yeah, how how you spend money? What makes you
have so?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Not so much having it? No, it doesn't how you
spend it on. So it doesn't matter how much you have.
But people who develop healthy financial habits, like regular savings,
paying off credit card bills, as soon as they come to.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
What is all that now? Fair enough, we'll talk later, okay,
talk separately. Yeah, okay, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
But if you're if you're responsible with the money that
you have, ag it, it doesn't matter how much. Sure, you're
just going to be happier in life because you're not,
you know, staying up late at night fretting about bills
that are douing like this, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I like this because you know, it comes down to
the thing of like, do you love to give a gift?
Do you like to get a gift? I love to
do things for people, give gifts. Yeah, spend the money
that I earn on other people because it brings me
joy to make them happy. And you're right about that.
It doesn't matter if I have five dollars in my
bank account or five hundred. I like taking the money

(05:38):
that I've earned and spending it on others.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Sure, but also at at the same time, like take
taking some of that money that you have, putting some
of it and into into a savings account, paying off
those bills when they come to These are the conversations
I have oftentimes with my It.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Does my daughters does sound like a dad daughter conversation.
What do you need to make sure you're doing? Is
because I the biggest struggle I've had with both of
my daughters, my younger and specifically, is I'm like, put
just I'm.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Like, just take a little bit of your money, just
a teeny tiny bit every single time you get paid
because she's got a job, and put it in a
savings account. I said you, I said, it doesn't need
to be much, but that slowly adds up and you've
got a nice little stash there.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
I feel like every parent had that conversation with their
kids when their kids were young. Happened to me too
with my parents. And I took that whole check and
I spent it and it felt great. But now as
an adult looking back, had I done that whoo, yeah,
I'd be fine, but yeah, I get it. But what
you're saying applies to adults and kids obviously.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Good money management. Good money.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Money management is what brings happiness like that doesn't matter
how much, but if you are wise with your money,
you'll be happier.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
Love it? Are you all right?

Speaker 3 (06:46):
We're at eight seven seven nine one nine eight one.
Send us a message anytime with our iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
As a base at seven o seven.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Good morning, it is the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court.
It is time for the Brighter We were really excited
about this one. Today we're talking dream jobs on this
morning's Brighter Side and if you've got a brighter side
for us, we are at eight seven seven nine eight
one nine eight one. Brighter Side is sponsored by Shreven Company,
Luxury time Pieces, Fine Designers, and Flawless Diamond.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Good morning to Rosco in New Jersey. You listen to
us on our free iHeartRadio AP and we understand you
had a dream job.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
What was it?

Speaker 6 (07:25):
I was a bartender for forty eight years. I worked
at Studio fifty four.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
That's how that's how far I worked at Studio fifty four.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
Yeah, my roommate was things bodyguard for the police. That's
how much fun the eighties were.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Whoa what was Studio fifty four?

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Like I saw stuff I couldn't understand, So it's exactly
like we heard about.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Yeah, it was. It was a blast. I mean there
were nights I literally left fifty four at like eight
in the morning and would walk right to forty fifty
and you go right to work at my brother seineshop
on forty fifth Street, and then you know, you're nineteen
twenty years old. You sleep for half You're good.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah, you're good. What a ying and a yang?

Speaker 6 (08:02):
Though?

Speaker 3 (08:02):
You go from Studio fifty four, you leave and you
walk up the street and work at a sign store
all day. That's living right there.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
And then I grew up in Palisades Park, New Jersey,
and we had a big disco there called the Soap
Factory back in the late seventies and eighties that we
would do two to four thousand people a night.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
You know what I love about this Rosco is that
you have lived quite a life and had some seriously
great experiences and now you're just listening to relaxing favorites
on the breeze in New Jersey on our iHeart app
it's great.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
Yeah, I'm actually down to Jersey Shore right now. But
I actually did start writing a book about it because
I've worked in restaurants, I've worked in wise guy joints,
I worked a lot of different I've closed a lot
of places.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Wow, well, please reach out when you write that book,
because legit, I want to read that.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
I'll put in an order too for the book as well.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
It's the funny thing, is mean, my core four or
five group of guys that went through a lot together,
we tell the same story. It's five different events.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
That's sure.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
That's the way it goes. That's the way it goes.
Such a fun phone call. Well, we hope you have
a good day. We appreciate you listening. Thank you, thank
you bye.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
And So I should have asked this question, Carolyn, and
I neglected to do it. Do you think Roscoe realized
in the moment while he was working for at Studio
fifty four that he was working at Studio fifty four.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
So because it became such a big pop culture thing,
I know, I see what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
It's kind of an after the fact where you go
I did that. I worked at Studio fifty four. That's
a part of history.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
And his friend being Sting's bodyguard, right, that's in the
eighties when with the police. That's amazing. Yeah, what a story.
I can't wait for that book that it would be
so good because you know he kept it clean for us.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
I'm sure one hundred pent he did all right.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
The Brighter Side we do it every weekday morning. We're
not asking you to top that, but we do want
to hear from you and hear what you appreciate in
life and what makes you happy. Eight seven seven one
nine eight.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
We'd also love to hear from you because coming up
this morning at seven twenty five, it's a chance for
you to ask us anything anything on your mind, anything
you want to know about.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
We may or may not have the answer. Ah yeah, no,
anything goes.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
It could be about stuff going on in life where
you want our opinion on something. It could be something
about the show. Whatever the case may be. We are
open to all questions. Call us eight seven seven one
oh nine eight wond er send us a talk back
with our iHeartRadio up. It's real easy to do. But
ask us anything. Coming up next seven twenty five. Here
on the Breeze.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court and John
Lennon at seven twenty seven. It's time now for ask
us anything, where we are one question away from a
great conversation.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Oh, I love what you've done with.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
This is where you call in with your questions. And again,
it could be about anything you could say. You could
ask something controversial like hey, Carolyn in Court, Yeah, is
supus is serial a soup? What? No? That's a big
debate online it is people are like cereal absolutely is
a soup?

Speaker 1 (11:03):
That is not today's question? Can that be tomorrow's.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Maybe it should be eight seven one, nine eight one.
That's how you reach us with those questions.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yes, this morning, it is Michael who's listening to us
in San Francisco, and you've got a question about our
iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
I wanted to ahead. I was like, okay, I want
to know more about well exactly the app works, because
the other day I was out of range and I missed.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
I missed the brief so bad.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Oh do you want us to break down the iHeartRadio app?

Speaker 5 (11:34):
I will if you guys would do that seriously, because
I was like, wait a minute. Does that mean I
can start telling all of my friends and family, like
out of state either and like you guys have to
listen to this station.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah, absolutely so, it's super easy.

Speaker 3 (11:46):

the Breeze wherever you go. Do you remember not too
long ago, Court one of our listeners, Geno, who listens
in American Canyon, was in like Alaska and he was
on some fishing trip and he said he was listening
to the Breeze while he was fishing in Alaska.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I was actually just thinking of Geno. Yeah, he has
listened to us in Alaska. He did a river cruise
in Germany, yes, and he was listening to the to
the morning.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
He took us to Hawaii. It can take us anywhere.
You can build playlists. You could put the Breeze as
your number one pre set on the app, so when
you open it, our station is right there first and
foremost on your app.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, that's one of the great things about presets like
you have in your car. You just said it, so yeah,
so the Breeze starts playing number one. You can also
use the app to send those talkbacks, which is another
great thing.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Love that and that's a great way to send us
and ask us anything with that talk back on our
iHeart app. So you can use that anytime any place.

Speaker 1 (13:06):

Easy peasy, as they say, they do say that soft
and Breezy all right. Coming up Friday morning here on
the show, it is a chance for you to nominate
that special person in your life that is always doing
good things for others. It is our Morning Breeze Person
of the Week. We make that announcement every Friday morning
just after seven.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Yeah, it's a celebration of these people who oftentimes are
not being recognized for the big and simple things that
they're doing. So you probably have somebody in your life.
Just take a moment today, think about them, and make
that nomination easy to do. On our website ninety eight
Onethebreeze dot com. Bet Middler at eight ten Here on
ninety eight point one The Breeze, it's the Morning Breeze
with Carolyn and Court.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
So, Court, you made a video of me yesterday, yeah,
with an AI boyfriend, and you posted it on our
social media here on the Breeze.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
It's been a trend on TikTok that my wife alerted
me to and where you take a picture of yourself
and then AI inserts a boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Right, I'm gonna tell you that has been my nightmare
of yesterday. So basically, Court had me stand at a
water cooler by the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Just a casual photo of you doing something.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Normal, and he said just stand there and I'm gonna
take a picture and then I'll take it from here.
And I said, okay, Court, I trust you. Then I
look at this video as I get a notification that
I've been tagged in a video for the breeze right,
and it's me standing at the water cooler and out
of nowhere comes this very good looking gentleman he sure was,
who put his arms around me gave me a kiss

(14:48):
on the cheek. It was basically, of course, an AI enhance,
just to show the power of AI.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
My dms.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Let me just read you a few Okay, where'd you
guys meet? People think it's real Court, It looks real.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Who is that?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
With about a bajillion question marks? After that, why didn't
you tell me about him? And then my favorite one,
somebody wrote and just said girl right, So I had
to write all these people back and say it's AI
Court made it.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
It's not true. I'm still single. So I want to
thank you for my day yesterday because it was quite
a day.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Listen. I don't know what else I could do. It
literally says I'm trying the fake boyfriend filter. So there's
a few indicators there in the top left corner. It
says AI generated. People just watched the video. They didn't
read your Yeah, and if you watch it, you your
your because it takes you and then it morphs you
into like some body movement because it's a still photo

(15:53):
and then you start moving. Yeah, at a certain point
when you when the when the hug is happening.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I look crazy. Well you look great, but you don't
look like you.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Thank you very much. That's so nice of you. You
know what I'm saying. No, I had great hair. I
morphed into a different person. Here's the other thing though,
I started looking very closely at this video. I don't
think this is fake boyfriend territory anymore. If you look
at your left hand in the video. Yeah, everybody needs
to go and look at this. By the way, on
our Instagram and Facebook. Yeah, you've got a ring on that.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Oh I got married. You're either married or engaged.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
So congratulations, Caro, I got I've got to get back
to these people then and reply to them and let
them know there's an update on my status.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
So there is what number three?

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yes? Wait? One third marriage? John, Yeah, it'll be three.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
It feels good. It's good to be back. It's good
to be back. But you do have to look at
this video. It is a trip. It's on our Facebook.
We've got it on our Instagram as well. We have
it on our TikTok too, right, Yes we do, or
we will in a minute. Okay, there, that's it ninety
eight one.
