Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Morning Breeze, The Morning Breeze on demand.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's a song you will hear only here on ninety
eight point one The Breeze with Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warns.
At seven oh four, you've got The Morning Breeze with
Carolyn and Court And it's that time of the week
where we get to announce the latest Morning Breeze Person
of the Week.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
This week it was Jamie who nominated her aunt, Christine.
And in the nomination, as we mentioned a minute ago
that came to us, Jamie said that her aunt is
the most selfless person right that she knows. So we're
gonna try and get Jamie on the phone first.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Hello, Hi, is this Jamie.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yes, Hey, it's Carolyn and Chord from ninety eight point
one The Breeze. We're calling about your aunt for person
of the week.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Oh my gosh, Hi Bye.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
We read your note about your aunt and we're like,
we have to make her the person of the week.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
She sounds like the best aunt in the whole wide world.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Oh my goodness, Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
So Jamie, tell us about your aunt.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Oh man, she's literally the best aunt in the world.
I live with her she's taken me in ever since
I was little. She works two jobs literally just to
feed everyone. Most selfless person I've ever met.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
You mentioned that she gets up as early as four
in the morning to start her day just so she
can take care of everybody and everything.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yes, four in the morning, comes back home, gets ready
for her next shift.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
What does she do.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
She's a lab assist in the morning, and then she
does she's an MLT in the evening.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
More lab work, morelave work.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
She sounds smart and very selfless and in your own words,
like a true role model of just somebody you would
want in your life.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yes, you had mentioned in your note to us that
she never has time to even go out to dinner
or to relax because she's so busy taking care of
everybody in the family that she never gets to do
anything for herself.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Ever, okay, well we just wellus.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Brought your aunt Christine on the phone with us. And Christine,
you've been listening to what Jamie's been saying about you
and how she nominated you for our Person of the week,
and obviously you are now winning our Morning Breeze Person
of the Week. What do you think about everything that
Christine has said about you, Oh.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Wow, it's just blowing up of.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Well.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
One of the things that Jamie said about you, Christine
is that you rarely take time to relax on your own,
but you never complain about anything that you're doing as
you're working so hard to take care of all these
other people. It's a rarity, I think, in this world.
And we wanted to recognize everything that you're doing, not
just for Jamie, but for your entire family and name
(02:41):
you the Morning Breeze person of the week.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Oh wow, thank you.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
So, not only does the whole Bay area know now
how awesome you are, but we're also going to give
you brunch for two out on the bay on a
beautiful City Cruises boat.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
So you get to go out on the bay, take
a guest with you.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
You have to take some time off for this somehow though, Christine,
and have to find some time in your day. But
you get to go out with one other person and
have brunch and just hang out on the bay for
a while, enjoy some good food and the great views.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Oh wow, Jemmy will definitely want to go.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Oh well, it's a win win for Jamie. Then there
we go.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
She gets to shout you out on the radio and
then she gets to go to brunch with you after
all that.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Oh yeah, that's my baby.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
But you, Christine, you sound incredible.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
And you know, if every family could be as lucky
as as your family is to have a Christine in
their family, the world would be a better place.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
So thank you for being such an awesome person.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Oh you're very welcome.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Do you have to get back to work now, Yeah,
my lunch for I have to figure figures out.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Well.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Thanks for taking time to talk to us this morning,
this early.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
I find that with Person of the Week there are
always those people that we talked to that are like Christine.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
That are going, well, what did I do? Just I'm
just doing my job and just living my life from
doing what I'm supposed to.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Do, going about what she thinks as a normal day
and what a normal person would do.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah, and that's exactly what our Person of the Week
is all about. It's highlighting those people that normally, like Christine,
wouldn't do something for themselves. And that's where you come in.
So tell us about that person in your life that's
going above and beyond, because next Friday, we'll be looking
for another Person of the Week, and you can get
us those nominations at ninety eight one the breeze dot
