Marin Humane Welcomes Animals from Maui’s Devastating Fires

The Morning Breeze Morning Breeze on Demand. You know, Cord, it is
no secret. I love, love, love our friends at marin Humane.
They do an amazing job for animalsin the Bay Area, and not just
the Bay Area but beyond the BayArea. Of course the obvious with the
recent fire in Maui, marin Humanehas stepped up and they are currently welcoming

animals to their shelter from Maui.They started arriving very recently and they've got
animals that are up for adoption orif you can foster an animal, or
if you can just donate money tohelp marin Humane. They've taken in a
bunch of pets. Now, justto clarify, these are pets that were
already up for adoption and the sheltersin Maui then the fires happened. Of

course they've got to take in straypets as a result of the fire.
So where are the dogs that arealready in the shelter are going to go
that are up for adoption. Thisis where the great people at marin Humane
step up and say, hey,we'll take them here in the Bay Area
and adopt them out to the wonderfulpeople in the Bay Area. It's great
to think about because in you know, when tragedy strikes like this and you

have no idea where your pets areending up. Now, this allows the
Maui Humane Society to address locally what'sgoing on. Well, we out here,
you know, in Mainland, Yeah, are able to help the pets
that we're waiting for adoption over there. No, it's incredible and we are
so grateful to marin Humane for steppingup once again as they always do.
