is gonna be back in business soon. The Cliff House is so historical.
Yeah, yeah, obviously well known. When it closed down twenty twenty during
the pandemic, this this was obviouslybig news here in the Bay Area,
but it was big news nationwide.Me up up in Portland at the time.

Everybody talking about Cliffhouse shutting down.Yeah, well, they've been around
for one hundred and fifty seven yearsin the Bay Area. They were an
absolute staple and obviously a great locationwith a view of the ocean. I
mean, just when it's not foggy. Fantastic when it's not foggy. Yeah.
So apparently three new restaurants are goingto come into this space. I

don't know how many were there before, but they're bringing in three and it's
from a company that operates restaurants herein San Francisco as well as down in
Los Angeles. So I think it'skind of smart and maybe look for a
company that kind of handle it whenyou know, when business is slow.
I think that's probably what happened duringthe pandemic. Game. Yeah, the
family that was running the restaurant therejust couldn't maintain it because there was nobody

coming in. Yeah, I thinkit's really kind of a neat idea to
take that space and break it upinto three instead of relying and kind of
putting all your eggs in one basket, if you will, you know,
And this makes it different and Ilove that. Is it going to be
called the cliff House or are theygoing to I would assume it'd have to
be it's the cliff House, oneof them at least, So I do
have to say, uh, youknow, when when people talk about the

cliff House outside of the Bay Area, they always show the old version of
the Cliffhouse, the Victorian structure thatused to be there. So when I
took my family to see the Cliffhousefor the first time, yeah, a
couple of months ago, Well,there's like, wat what is what is
this building? A little different?Yeah? I remember. So I went

to college at San Francisco State,and you know, when you're a college
kid, you don't have any money. But I had a date one night
and it's going to help pay becausewe had to split it. We couldn't
afford it, and we wanted tohave a big nine out, so we
went to the Cliffhouse. Do youknow how long I had to save my
college kid money to go to onedinner at the Cliffhouse And it didn't work
out after all, But we're excitedit's coming back. Definitely a piece of
