The Morning Breeze, The Morning Breezeon Demand seven oh six on the Morning
Breeze that is Phil Collins and it'stime for our Morning Breeze Person of the
Week. Easily my favorite time ofthe week, Carolyn, I love this
too. The brighter side. Youknow, we always do that at this
time and it's super positive. Butthere's something when we drill down to somebody

(00:22):
who has made such a difference inthe Bay Area to give them the limelight,
which I love. Not only arewe giving them the limelight, we're
going to give them brunch for twoon the Bay courtesy of City Cruises anchored
by Hornblower. This week it wasChris who nominated Alan. So Chris tell
us about Alan. We understand heteaches you guys pickleball at the Senior Center.
Oh, Alan is wonderful. He'staught pickleball at our Senior center.

(00:48):
Oh at least fifty people how toplay. Wow. But he's very patient,
and then he gives us drills everyFriday. But not only that.
To set up the pickleball, heclears the tables for people that eat lunch
and sweeps the floor before he setsup the net because you know, they
don't have a permanent pickleball cork. The fact that he's doing this. You

(01:10):
know, pickleball is so good foryour physical, it's good for your mental
and social and social that's probably themost important part, right, is the
social aspect of this. Right.Okay, Chris, we just got Alan
on the line, So why don'tyou tell him why we're calling. We
just appreciate all the coaching and everythingthat you do for us, and this

(01:30):
is just a little thing to makeyou the person of the week of my
favorite radio station. Ah. Well, you know I don't do this for
acknowledgement or rewards. Of course,it's an amazing group of people. Us
seniors wouldn't be competitive if it wasn'tfor you. I have a feeling Alan

(01:53):
is going to receive this brunch certificateand then he's gonna gift it to somebody
else. I have the same thought, he's gonna give back to you guys
at the Senior Center. No,he better not. He better go.
But Alan, seriously, thank youfor all you do for the Senior Center.
That is so kind of you togo in it every day and do
this for them. Well, youknow, it's not really me, it's

(02:15):
an amazing group of people, butyou made it amazing. You're consistent Alan
in that matter, and I thinkwe're all understanding why everybody appreciate it.
Appreciates you, Alan, because youdon't do it for the accolades. You
just do it because it's the rightthing to do. That's right. I
have a feeling that Alan does thiseverywhere he goes like he's always giving and
he never receives. It's about timethat you you correct, get something you

(02:38):
have. People recognize you, Alan, And thank you Chris for nominating Alan.
Oh well, you know when Iheard that on the radio, I
always thought about him. Well, this is how it works, Alan.
What time is pickaball today? Todayis one the four. Well, it
