Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Morning Breeze, the Morning Breeze on Demand.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
And it is time now to name our next Morning
Breeze Person of the Week.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
And as Court mentioned a couple of minutes ago, this
week's Morning Breeze Person of the Week is a woman
and she has helped more people in her family than
we can even count.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
I don't know how she does it, honestly, like physically
and mentally.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
She appears to be the person in the family that
is always there to help somebody in need.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah, and she was nominated by her sister, by the way,
So Diana is our Morning Breeze Person of the Week
this week, nominated by her sister, Beverly, who's on with
us right now. Beverly, before we bring Diana on the
phone with us, tell us why you nominated her?
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Out of five She's the second sibling in my family.
He's been like such a support system for everybody the family,
for her friends, for her kids, grandkids, I mean just everybody. Yeah,
and she's always giving her awe all the time. She
(01:03):
also was a big caregiver for my parents as well.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
So she's always doing for others. But I'm guessing she's
going on a limb she never does anything for.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Her, Yeah, exactly. It's always others come before herself.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
When I do talk to her, you know, always tell
her to, you know, take it easy. But she's always
on the go. She has an older partner she's now
kind of taking care of him. It's constant.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
I think sometimes when you're doing that much, you get
stuck in it sort of and.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Just can't get out. Yeah, like you just yn't realize
it's what you do.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
My concern is just for her to take a break,
just kind of try to take it easy.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I couldn't agree more.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
And Beverly, we just got your sister Diana on the
phone with us. Why don't you tell her why we're
calling this morning.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
I had nominated you for a person of the Week
to I Need quite one radio station, and I did
that because you have been such a big part of
my life, and you do so much for everybody, and
I just wanted to do something for you. I'm kind
(02:19):
of lost for.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
Words right now.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Everything you've done, Diana, for your family, your dad, your mom,
your uncle. You have been so busy taking care of
everybody else you haven't had time to take care of you.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yep, exactly, Oh my god, what an honor.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Thank you, and we want to show our appreciation for
you by giving you Brunch on the Bay for two,
courtesy of City Cruises.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Oh my god, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Nope, not at all.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
We're forcing you to take a break, Diana and do
something for yourself.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Oh my good Well, it's funny because.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Before we brought you on the phone with us, when
we were talking to Beverly and we were I was thinking,
we're going to be awarding you this brunch. I'm thinking,
is this going to stress her out more? Because you're
already so busy and now you've got to fit a
brunch in there. But like, once you get on that boat,
you're going to be so happy that you did it.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Oh my goodness. Water a mountain makes me very happy.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
I don't care where it is.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
I love the water. I love the mountains.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Well, City Crisis does a great job. They're going to
take you under the Golden Gate Bridge. You're going to
go over and look a bit or all Park. You're
just gonna love it out there.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
You're kidding. Wow, what a treaties?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
No way, this is.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Really unexpected.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Thanks then, all, thanks to your sister.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
I guess my question for you, Diana would be, how
do you do it all? You do so much.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
I don't know. You just do what you have to
do to get things taken care of. Yeah, I mean,
you just can't stand back and say well sorry, you know,
you just got to do what you.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Have to do to take care of your love and
such a good soul.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Thank you so much. Thank you for King Corn.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Thank you so much, you are both welcome, and thank
you for being on with us and
