your nominations and we have chosen and get to reveal
this week's Morning Breeze Person of the Week.

Yeah, this week, as we've had before, our nominator is Aurora,
who is nominating her mom, Arlene.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yes, so, Aurora, tell us about your mom and why
you nominated her for a Person of the Week.

First of all, she nominated me a while ago and
I won. Yeah. But she is the oldest of four kids,
and you know, she's been a caregiver like a mom
and taking care of business, and she's working really hard,
and she has a lot going on at work, and

I think she just deserves a break.

Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yeah.

You mentioned in your submission, Aurora that she took in
her niece, so I guess this would be your cousin
when when yeah, away, And I just think, I mean,
that's when you're already a parent, you're becoming a parent
to somebody new. It's just so much love and compassion
there for coming from your mom.

Yes, yes, she did, and she's still taking care of
her and you know, being the main person that she
goes to, and you know, when she thought she was
done raising her kids and she took in my cousin.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, yeah, how does it feel to be on the
other side of this nominating her? You know, it's kind
of interesting because a while back, your mom obviously nominated
you and that must have been great, right, you knew
how great that felt, And you're like, I want to
do this for her to kind of pay her back.

Right, Yeah, it feels amazing because I know she deserves it.
She's a really good mom.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
So we just brought your mom Arlene on the phone
with us, so she has not heard anything we've talked
about before this, So why don't you tell her why
we're calling this morning?

You nominated me, and I wanted to return the favor,
and you've been really hard working and a great mom.
And you can't gab you when you know when a
TV compassiway, Yeah, it's just it's the amazing mom.

But I see people that don't, so I'm very grateful

Yeah, well, it sounds like you've got great relationships with
a lot of people, being the oldest of four sisters
and always kind of being the caretaker and the provider
for many of them. So it sounds like this is
the story of your life.

have the best French toast here you will ever taste
in his life.

Or it is obsessed with the French. It's so good
on City Cruises and there's baconmos, pancakes, pancakes, they have
it all. So ar Lean, you know it goes without
saying thank you for you know everything you do. You're
such a good human being, starting with nominating your daughter
