I was sad to read this MorningCourt that today sort of marks the end
of an era as the Sea BowlBowling Alley in Pacifica, for the final
time after sixty five years in business, is closing. And this has been

a Bay Area institution. Their pricesare right, the location is great,
it's always a good time, andthe owners, I guess, have just
said, you know, we wantto start this new chapter in our life.
We're going to hang it up andyou know, go on our way.
But you feel bad just hearing thatanother institution in the Bay Area that's
been around forever is going to beno longer as of today. Yeah,
it's interesting to hear about these legendaryBay Area venues. Like when people found

out that I was moving to SanFrancisco in the Bay Area, everybody was
like, Okay, you gotta gohere, you gotta go here. You
know the Film War, you gottago see a show at the Film War.
Oh yeah. I grew up asa forty nine Ers fan since I
was a little kid, so Iwill never be able to go to Candlestick
and see them play there. That'sgone, true, that's another place that's
gone. And wasn't there like aplace called it was like the Circle something
like a music venue. Yes,the Circle Star. Okay, that was

on the peninsula and that to me, and I'm sure a lot of longtime
Barrier residents would agree that that wasprobably the best place in the Bayer to
see a concert. That was aplace where the stage was circular, yeah,
as in Circle Star, and thestage would rotate, so every seat
in the house was a good seat. And not only that, but the

artists that were performing would have tocome from outside basically down the aisle to
get to the stage. Yeah,So the artist, depending on what aisle
you were in, they would theywould come past you and you'd be that
close to them, which was alwaysso awesome, so
