and twenty twelve. Adam, there's lots going on this weekend.
Where do we start.

Well, we've got tons of community celerations for the Fourth
of July. First tonight, if you want to get the
party started early, South Haven's Light Up the Lake. That's
where they shoot the fireworks over Lake Michigan. I've never been,
but I hear it is an incredible show that goes
down tonight ten thirty off the North Pier. You can
view from both the South and the North beach. And

then if you're in South Haven or close by, they
do have a parade tomorrow morning that kicks off at
eleven o'clock and then locally up here in the Grand
Rapids area, Granville. They've got a parade at ten o'clock
with face painting, superheroes, a craft zone, and then fireworks
at dusk. East Grand Rapids also with a parade that
starts at noon and then afterwards families can enjoy inflatables,

food trucks, a water ski show at John Collins Park
and then fireworks over Reeds Lake to close out the day.
Kentwood Full Day of Events parades starting at Crestwood Middle School,
a carnival at Kentwood City Hall, and then an evening
celebration with a beer tent, live music and fireworks at dusk.
Grand Haven out toward the Lake Shore their Fourth of

July Fireworks special that starts at ten ten at the
Grand Haven Musical Fountain. Holland they host their twenty twenty
five celebration at dusk over Lake Mactawa and in Muskegon.
You can enjoy live music starting at eight, grab some
food from local vendors before fireworks start at ten twenty.
All of that goes down at Heritage Landing. So Fourth

of July, that's where all of your local shows are
going to be.

Well, I don't think so, so yeah, keep an eye
on that tomorrow. And then, of course we talked with
Russ Hines about this just yesterday. The Grand Rapids Fireworks
sponsored by Soaring Eagle Casino in Resort that starts at
six o'clock at an Nobowyn Park, live music, fireworks promptly
at ten thirty, but hey, make a day out of it.
Come downtown, enjoy the restaurants, enjoy the shopping, get a

parking spot early because if those are going to go fast.
But the events at a Novowin Park, those are free.

It's Foody Fast at calder Plaza. That's a three day event,

kicks off Tomorrow, go Saturday and Sunday. They'll have live music, dance,
and finally chosen food from some of the best local
merchants here in Grand Rapids. Also cash bar available if
you want to partake again. Great thing to do before
you head down for the fireworks downtown on Saturday.

Yeah. A few more things going on non fourth of
July are related the West Michigan White Caps tonight taking
on the Great Lakes Loons at seven oh five and guys,
first thousand fans in the door get a patriotic bobblehead.
That's the little river rat thing the crash that they've got. Yeah,
it's so cool. It's got the top hat everything. I
would go just for that. And then Saturday night Social

Distortion they're gonna take over at GLC Live at twenty Monroe.
A few tickets still available. And then, of course we've
been talking about it all week, the Verve Pipe with
the Grand Rapid Symphony sold out show at the Meyer Gardens,
and we might have one more pair of tickets to
give away. On Monday for that. Oh really yeah yeah,
so stay tuned.
