steam toward Veterans Day. Corporal Jamal C. Stewart back on
the liveline with US Marine Corps veteran and president of

We talked a couple of weeks ago about a thing
that's coming up now on the seventh and eighth. That's
the Drone Show, So talk to us. We'll go chronologically
through this about an opportunity to see something pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Yeah. Absolutely, celebration the service fundraisers coming up next week
Friday and Saturday, November seventh and November eighth. It's going
to be taking place downtown Grand Rabids at five y
five Monroe Northwest. And this is actually going to be
a celebration like no other because it's a two hundred
and fiftieth Rine Corps birthday on the tenth, but we're

also going to celebrate both the Army and the Navy's
two hundred and fiftieth as well well. Outside that, we're
going to have music, entertainment, food trucks, veteran creative arts,
crafts and music. Also Veterans Services leading us to the
big finale both nights, a five hundred patriotic drone show

that's going to take flight over the Grand River.

Very cool, Corporal, I'm so excited about that. I know
you did this this past summer with skiing. We've talked about,
but this really kicks off a multitude of events over
like a four or five day stretch. So from there
we go on Monday night to the Marine Corps Ball,
first ever event to Voss Events Center. And we've got
a ticket deadline that's coming up for that, right Corporal, Yes.

Sir, November third is coming up Monday. We are still
selling tickets. We're right now just about at the two
hundred and ten mark and our goal is two hundred
and fifty. And I also want to give a shout
out to my co host, the Veterans Enrichment Task Force
or VETS here in Grand Rabbits. There are also a
big part of making this Marine Corps two hundred and
fiftieth Birthday celebration.

And then the next day is Veterans and as we
all celebrate those that we know, past, present and future,
talk to us a little bit about a free Veterans dinner.

be from five thirty to eight thirty there at the
