Ty Hallock joins us to discuss Penn State VS Oregon, Alabama vs Georgia, and the Browns coming to town to face the Lions.

Both have buys this weekend, but plenty of good games
when it comes to tomorrow for college football Top twenty
five matchups, We've got two we're going to break down
to the Lions and the Browns. Let's start with this one
in the Big Ten. This will be tomorrow night, seven
point thirty on NBC. Part of that would TV eight
package that they have for the Big Ten conference. And

you look at number six Oregan, at number three, Penn State.
A lot of people like Penn State is the favorite.
But if you haven't seen Dante more play, the transfer
from UCLA played at Detroit Martin Luther King High School
here in his prep days, this kid is phenomenal. Almost
one thousand yards passing eleven touchdowns to one. I in
t and we know Oregon very explosive offensively. It's gonna

be a great football game.

It really should be. And they're the number seven scoring
offense in the country, and so to me, the matchup
is Dante More versus Jim Knowles. Yeah right, Jim Knowles,
the longtime Ohio State coordinator, paid a lot of money
to come to Penn State to shore up what you
consider James Franklin's belief that gets them over the hump. Right,

that defense has got to be stellar themselves, and it's
games like Oregon a wide out, a sellout, you know,
huge atmosphere for Oregon to come into. Can Dante More
in this offense score enough and not allow Penn State
to run the ball which they're gonna do. They got
two very good backs. Drew Eller. We'll see what he's like, right,

He to me has probably been a consistent disappointment between
potential and actual talent.

Which is always the case. It seems like with Penn State,
is there a quarterback away?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah, it's something about that position and Drew Aller in particular.
I think he's good, don't get me wrong. I think
there is more potential, but they just haven't done it.
He hasn't done anything extraordinary and he's gonna have to
to keep pace with potentially what the Oregon Ducks can do.
But again, Jim Knowles plays as big as role in

go in and lose a closet, No, But if penn
State loses the narrative and the consistent getting on James

of the SEC when they get together. This will be

ABC game, seventeenth rank Crimson Tide coming in Athens. A
tough plays to win number five Georgia. But again I

go to the quarterback play here, who's gonna have better
quarterback plan? I think that's your winner on this matchup?

Right? Is it gonna be Gutter Stockton? Who quite frankly,
Georgia's had problems protecting or Ty Simpsons as he continue
to get better within Kaylen Debor's offense with Alabama, big
test for them to go to Georgia. You know what's
crazy to me, It's almost been ten years since Alabama's
been at Georgia, and if Georgia can win this game,
it would be the only second time in the last

eleven meetings that they've actually beaten Alabama. That blows my
brain with how good Georgia has been and Kirby Smart's
had these guys the last few years. They haven't played
quite as much, but Alabama's dominated this. This is an absolute,
in my mind, a huge opportunity for Kaylen to Bor
to grab back what you know, maybe he's lost a

little bit at down at Alabama and the belief of
what he can or can't do. This would be a
huge game for them. And mind yourself, Georgia has started
off very very slow early and against Tennessee that almost
cost them. They were able to get back late and
a couple of mistakes by Tennessee Georgia took advantage of
and won that football game. So this should be a very,
very good football game down at Georgia.

We were all impressed with the Lions as we moved
there and what they did in Baltimore on Monday night.
Now the Browns, who just beat Green Bay coming to
town one o'clock on Sunday. And what scares me about
this one is can the Lions maintain it? Because I
don't know if you saw the line coming in nine
and a half point favorites at home when the Browns
just beat green Bay.

Wow. Yeah, the line surprises me, probably about as much
as anything. But you look at it Cleveland Browns. When
you talk about Mason Graham, which people are familiar with,
the rookie out of Michigan Sweessinger, the linebacker Malik Collins,
Miles Garrett, this front seven along with Devin Bush. I mean,
they have been very very nasty to offenses in the

National Football League. Detroit's got to try to run the football,
but Cleveland's very very good against that. I think this
is a Jared Golf game. Get the ball down the field, short,
medium and long. That's the opportunity to beat the Cleveland Browns.
