got Ty Hellick coming back on Wednesday, short week to
preview the great games coming up this weekend, including the
Lions at Green Bay on Thanksgiving, Michigan and Ohio State
the game on Saturday. But let's start with that Lions
overtime win. Mister Hallick, you had to be feeling it
like all the Lions fans. What a roller coaster ride game,

thirty four to twenty seven. Bottom line, you always say
it in the NFL, it's tough to win. They got
the victory, which is used to improve to seven and four.

Well, and you talk about covering a lot of ground.
How about Jamir jib Hold Nikes man. He reminds me
of Bret Pakeita in his younger days running, you know,
in seewee football. I mean unbelievable that that last run, man,
it looked like he was shot out of a cannon.
I mean it was unbelievable to think as you play
against other professionals, and guys to play with greats. He

had that kind of closing power and speed. It's amazing
to me that, you know, a few years ago when
we drafted him, there's a lot of things going on
with running backs, et cetera. And you were kind of like, yeah,
it seems like a good pick. I'm not, I'm not
quite sure yet. Well, holy snikes, were we wrong if
you had any doubt. Just amazing and an amazing win

and somewhat lucky one too, thanks to mister Bates as
well for a you know, a long field goal at
fifty nine yards just to get us into overtime, to
get to that place. So unbelievable game. We said it
was gonna be tough on Friday. You know, New York
Giants are not a pushover. And Jameis wins and give
him credit. I mean, the guy threw for three hundred

and sixty six yards. You know, it just wasn't one
of our best games. But they've figured out a way
to win, and that's what's most important.

Even caught a thirty three yard touchdown pass at his
age for Jamis went to look pretty good doing it too.
You're right, and the key was just to keep pace
with Chicago and Green Bay. The Packers come in on
Thanksgiving Day game that will be a big one obviously,
to try to jump up the standings of the NFC North.
Let's go from there to number eighteen Michigan. I was
a little worried about this game going on the road,
but boy, Michigan impressive year, forty five to twenty over Maryland.

And let's give a little love to a guy you
know very well, running back Bryce and Kustal Forestill's Eastern
a walk on. Remember they've had all kinds of injuries
to the running back position. Twenty carries, one hundred yards
and three touchdowns. He looked good.

Yeah, it was very very good effort by him, and
certainly that local flayer gets you excited whether you're a
Michigan fan or not. The reality of it is, Michigan
took care of business. Bryce Underwood was study, they made
the plays. They shut down Malik Washington in the passing game.
Really of Maryland unlike others have tried. So Michigan's solid win.

They get through it. They can focus on the game
that we'll talk about up this Wednesday before Thanksgiving. But
good win for Michigan. And they continue to keep themselves
in a spot to get where they want to go,
which is potentially into those playoffs again if they take
care of business this coming weekend, which we'll talk about
on Wednesday.

Bryce underwent two hundred and fifteen yards passing two touchdowns.

you're wondering how it shapes up. With Oregon beating USC,

wins at home on their senior day over Michigan State
twenty to seventeen, And all I've got to say is
I give the guys credit. And they're playing for Jonathan Smith.
We don't know what his future entails yet, but why
in the world, Ty Halleck, do you kick to Caden

Region after what he did with the first one, almost
taking to the house. Then he does take into the
house sixty two yards, and then later they kicked to him.
He had one hundred and forty seven yards on three
punt returns.

Yeah, it does make you wonder. I mean, it's not
like you just you know, to your point, sawt in
the game one time, and he did it. He's been
doing it all year. You've got plenty of film study.

late in the game was better than getting it to him,
you know, because our defense was playing well. I mean,
that's an additional point to your point of why do

because your defense is playing well. So kicking it out
of bounds and meaning a little bit shorter is plenty.

Okay, And you know what, still win lists of the
Big ten. They'll have one more shot at Ford Field
Saturday night against Maryland. We'll see what happens. But Alessio
Milavoye vic I mean you look at him, two hundred
and fifty five yards, two touchdowns. He played well. I
like the kid. He's got some moxie he does.

And I'll tell you they were winning seventeen to seven
in the beginning of the fourth quarter. Give Iowa credit.
They figured out a way, and we figured out a
way not to get it done right. But Michigan State
played very, very hard and had the opportunities to make

plays they got to advance first downs to get to
the field goal to win it. We're right there, the
ball goes off one of our dv's shoulders and the

are in position. They just got to finish the plays
